About this Episode

TFG1Mike and PecanCtMichael cover four Phineas & Ferb Season 2 episodes: The Baljeatles sees Phineas and Ferb help Baljeet at summer rock camp while Dr. Doof creates the Bumbuminator. Vanessary Roughness has Vanessa competing with others to get a rare chemical from the Super Duper Mega Store to prove she's responsible. No More Bunny Business introduces Dennis, a rogue ALCA agent posing as a rabbit, while Phineas and Ferb build X-ray glasses. Spa Day has Candace and Stacey plan a spa day but get sidetracked, leading Phineas and Ferb to build their own volcanic rock spa while Doof accidentally befriends a chaotic kitten. Miss Piggy makes a guest appearance during the spa day segment.

Hello and welcome to episode 36 day 36 here in

the podcast organization without a cool acronym

I am of course TF2 and Mike and joining me is

my Yoga drain very sleepy time tea host pecan

court Michael. Hello. Hey, how's it going? Would

you like some toast with that tea? Toast with

that tea? Some cheese with that wine? Some wine

with that wine. That's about how I'm feeling

right about now. I'm just wiped out. That's an

old wine, people. People won't get that unless

I throw it in. But yeah, we are here, day 36.

It is the second of our double shot episodes.

in a row. After this, we're gonna be going back

to single cartoons episodes. I think the next

double one will be episode 42. So episode 37

and 41, we've got all single cartoons where it's

two individual cartoons and Phineas and Ferb,

but this is our last double shot. In this episode,

we've got the Baljeetles and Vanessa -Sary Roughness,

along with, if I can find it... No more bunny

business and spa day. Good ol' spa day. So we

are going to get right to it and later in the

episode we are going to have a Muppet guest star

as well when we get to spa day because I just

had to grab that audio. So, Miss Piggy will be

making a guest appearance, but first up, the

Baljeetles and the necessary roughness after

this. If you don't stop that rocket, I'm so gonna

bust you! Empty backyard! Candice, stop trying

to bust your backyard! Dad, I need a car. I can't

keep riding on the back of your scooter every

time I ghost in place. It's totally embarrassing!

Hey sweetheart, how'd you like to take a ride

in a real bike? She's 16! You know, ever since

I installed the OA and they threw in my helmet,

driving is fun again. Hey Ferb, check this out.

The Super Duper Mega Store is the largest supplier

of everything in the Tri -State area. I know

what we're gonna do today. Well, I'm gonna buy

Jeremy a gift. It's the anniversary of the very

first time Jeremy and I went to Slushy Burger.

He's pulled a cheese dog on me and mustard got

all over the place. He was so sweet. Hmm, tough

one. I don't think they make a card for that.

So Mom, what are you gonna get at the store?

I need a 25 pound tub of mayonnaise and 80 pounds

of potatoes to make potato salad for the bridge

club. Wow, that's a lot of potato salad. Remember

to meet me back at the car in three hours. Wow,

think of it, Ferb. 52 ,637 ,000 square acres

of unbridled consumerism all under one roof.

You can whistle that again. And you get to go

to the pet sitters, Carrie. You're going to have

to prove to me that you're responsible, that

you can do things by yourself. How can I do that

when I'm always on the back of your scooter?

It's a conundrum, isn't it? Alright, folks. First

up, we've got the Baljeetles in the necessary

roughness for the Baljeetles, Phineas and Ferb

help Beljeet at a summer rock camp. Meanwhile,

after finding out that Stacey feels like a third

wheel around her, Candice sets her up with Coltrane.

And the two start to get along. Over at dr. Goof

and smirk says he attempts to create a army of

babies Just don't know folks, I just don't know

it's funny that he actually mentions that the

heartbeat is soothing toward babies and 30 something

year old men living in their parents basement

and the thought here my thought was You know,

don't make an army of babies make an army of

30 year old men living in their parents basements

because these guys That's uh an opposable force,

right? Well, but they don't ever want to leave

the basement. That's the problem Yeah That's

what the roof is for right? Yeah Well, I think

he assumes that you know babies are you know

still learning about life, obviously, and not

exactly have years and years of experience, and

he can just shape them and mold them into whatever

he wants. Wow. That's, um, sure. Okay. Baby Banzai.

Yeah. There you go. Baby Banzai -tron. It's the

bum -bum -inator. Yeah, the bum -bum -inator.

Which means something else in England, I think.

Yeah, is this the first episode we have two inators

showcased in the same episode? I know there have

been episodes where he's had an inator and then

he's shown an older inator, but I know there

was the episode with Dr. Hvarlik where he shows

her various inators, but I'm saying is this the

first episode we've had in season two where...

Two inators were used at the same time the baby

inator and then the bum bum inator the nanny

inator Nanny inator baby in the air. Well, just

wait until spa day Yeah, that's yeah, we'll get

to that a lot of inators in spot Yeah, there

is that's right. I forgot. Yeah I like I really

like this episode. I think the doof story is

silly and stupid but It ties into the a story

at least with the music anyway, because the one

point when they get to the concert Buford didn't

even start drumming and faces like Mike nice

beef beat Buford. Thanks. Thanks a lot It's the

bum bumminator So he wants to be like the Pied

Piper except with babies and the bum bumminator

It's like a giant heart that beats to the rhythm

of his heartbeat And uh, and that also becomes

the backbeat for the belgietals Yeah, why am

I thinking of what is it? Gloria Estefan rhythm

of the beat or so? What is that? Seriously? What

is that? What a song was it rhythm of the night

or something? I I don't know. Oh god. I like

cha -cha music or something. Yeah, I've got uh

That's stuck in your head when you find it you

can put it in the sound Yeah, there you go Hey,

what do you do when you're bored? I? Thought

he was saying math Yeah, what are you doing?

You're happy. What are you doing? You're sad

I just do a lot of math He's in the bathroom

over a huge cauldron in his bathtub, right? He's

stirring up the methamphetamines. Please, do

not sit here and break bad this late at night.

Please. The last thing we need is a breaking

bad reference. It's a breaking Belgedal. Wow.

Uh -huh. I went there. He's sitting there smoking

the meth behind the shame curtains. The shame

curtains? I forgot about the shame curtains.

The shame curtains don't look at themselves,

mother. That's right. The curtains of shame.

Oh, I was going to digress here. Candice is on

full -on girlfriend mode at this point. She's

very upset because she doesn't have a nickname.

Yep. Refer you to the chart. Oh goody the chart

chart It looked like it looked like a chart of

Christian Stewart's emotions Is a happy sad Look

Jeremy is awesome, but he is no huntsman and

Candice is no Snow White He'd be Thor if he was

a huntsman, right? So about that punk rock band

They look yeah epic that was just such a cool

they climbed out of the limo and it was like,

okay cool. This is a good episode Yeah, Ferb

Kate Ferb was driving apparently he stopped the

limo got out open the door for everybody else,

and somehow went back in and came back out the

back door. Like, wait, what? How do you do that?

That's right. Baljeet says, I'm about to let

my feelings out through these pleather pants.

It's like Baljeet's always about pooping himself

and makes me giggle. But my first thought was,

you know, Baljeet can't start crying here because

his mascara will run. Yeah, that's true. He had

quite the look. Yes, yes he did. Candice, quit

bustling an empty backyard. I'm so gonna bust

this empty backyard. Never mind. Ha ha ha jeet

he takes things way too literally like I take

things literally you take things literally but

Balji takes it to a whole new level a whole scene

where they finally go to his house and he's He

wants to get an a at music summer rock camp and

it's like oh my god Well, I thought it was a

geology course. Yeah, I know that geology no

and I'll have to look later and by the end of

the podcast and see when this episode debuted

because I think it was Right before or right

after Twitter started in 2008 or 2007 or whatever

the hell Twitter was born because Well, the reason

why I'm saying this is because Baljeet Borrowed

the Twitter fail whale and gave it a sound It's

more of a banshee whale than a notion of oceanic

dwelling whale. Let's say What did you think

of dramatic monogram in the intro? You know,

it was very noir. I thought it was I thought

it was supposed to be a perfume commercial or

something Yeah, I didn't like it. I saw where

they were going. I was like At the end where

he was like The agency isn't paying for these

classes, are we, Carl? He's an unpaid intern.

He's got to get some value out of this somewhere,

right? Yeah, that's true. So at the end, Baljeet

flies into a rage over his lack of a grade. He's

very upset that there's no grade involved here.

Yep. And hence the song, Somebody Give Me a Grade.

I like the song. I think the song is cool. It's

an awesome song and the fact that it gets faster

as Doofenshmirtz's heart rate goes up because

he's being chased around by Perry. By Perry,

yeah. That's right. And it just it just gets

faster and angrier. This lumbominator is going

and going and going and as Baljeet keeps thinking

about this whole thing in his head he gets angrier

and angrier. Yeah. The more that I watched, the

more that I think about this episode, it was

only a matter of time where he would become Hulk

Cheat. Exactly. It's a Hulk Cheat smash, right?

He's one gamma radiation experiment away from

being a problem. Yeah, that's true. What does

it mean when a girl leaves a fake mustache at

your house? At least she doesn't brush her teeth

with it. Because I know what that means. Get

a toothbrush at your house that's like, ah, crap.

So the whole time when Perry goes to escape and

then he gets doof. Running around or anything

else the whole time with the whole nanny nader

thing I thought doof went rugrats like seriously.

I was having rugrats flashbacks watching the

scene Rugrats that's funny So yeah, I really

like this episode I like at the end doofus versus

flying away going curse you Perry that oh wait

is that the belt cheatles Now that's back to,

uh, what was that when he was flying overhead

going, curse you, Perry the - oh wait, is that

Love Handle? That was in Dude, We're Getting

the Band Back Together. That's right, Dude, We're

Getting the Band Back Together. And he rocketed

off because of the rocket for the birthday party

for Vanessa. Right, yeah, okay. So this is a

nice recurring joke, it was welcome. Yep. Overall,

I give it a 5. I just really like this episode.

This is very well done. I really like the writing.

Baljeet. Holy cow, you know, he's just... I also

give it a five. Yeah, I love this episode. Alright,

Vanessa Suri Roughness. Vanessa tries to get

her dad, Dr. Devin Schwarz, a capsule containing

a rare chemical in the super duper mega super

store. It's a Costco. Yeah, and try saying that

five times fast In order to convince him that

she is responsible enough to have her own car

Even with her of helping her what initially seems

an easy task becomes complicated when Candice

Stacey Buford Belge and Perry also trying to

get the capsule for their own purposes Okay,

so that this episode. I love this episode for

a lot of reasons, but number one Probably has

to be we get more Character development for Vanessa.

Yeah amazing that they did that Yeah, not only

do we get character development for Vanessa,

but we get to hear Vanessa sing she has a whole

song and That alone gives this episode a five,

right? Yeah, automatically automatic five. Yeah

So Wow short podcast everybody no way Next episode!

This is the second time we've actually heard

her sing. We heard her and Candice do a duet

on Busted. That one got a five too! Yeah. It's

pretty much anytime she opens her mouth and musical

stylings come out, it gets a five. But usually

if she's in the episode, it gets a five. If her

and Norm are in the episode, it gets five and

a half. Yeah. That's how it works. So, this is

the episode, this is what I was talking about,

God knows how long ago, day 25, 26, whenever

it was, I forget, about Linda going in to buy

all this stuff to make, she said like, what is

it, 80 pounds of potatoes? Potato salad. Yeah,

I know, and like 12 gallons of mayonnaise for

potato salad. I'll be back in three hours. Yeah,

I question the whole Flynn Fletcher financial

dynamic but whatever what I love this one was

Phineas is just ignorant the whole episode. He's

just in that massage chair The whole episode

except at the end You gotta try this chair Ferb

I can't feel my brain. Yeah Says, this is what

we're going to do every day. Exactly. If he had

a Brookstone chair at home, this would have been

a completely different series. Yep. Absolutely.

I know there are other songs that Vanessa sings,

but I'm Me is the best one that she's done to

this point. Ferb in the ball pit. That's just

hilarious. Ferb, honey, aren't you a little old

for the ball pit? Yes. Yes, I am. And meanwhile,

Vanessa has ducked down and it's like fighting

the love, you know? Vanessa pops up out of nowhere.

Your name is Ferb? Yes. It's short for and...

Oh, there it is. Yeah. We don't even get what

it's short for. That's funny. that's an awesome

line yes it is it's short for oh here it is yeah

yeah that's not what it's short for but yeah

i like to give the dog a bone communicator michael

i'm trying to use the bone do you mind that's

right Does it asium in finite and feet if in

the unite? No, cuz asium in finite in finite.

That's what it is. Okay, so we're just gonna

call this unobtainium from now on Yeah That's

what this is Periodic table you need a magnifying

glass to see it. It's not there by the trademark.

We're not really sure what that's way down there

I like I like the Buford Have you for this an

angry wall of meat? Yeah He's an angry wall of

meat that protects Belgian science experiments

Ron he's like I'm seriously starting to reconsider

my angry wall of meat So funny Oh, that's very

funny. Yeah, this whole episode was just really

fun It had a really cute cool montage Had the

the Ferb and Vanessa trying to get the unobtainium

montage. Yeah, it was really good I think there

was a little much. I mean, we actually had three

parties all trying to get this mcguffin yeah

all at the same time see Buford and Beljeet Perry

and then Vanessa and firm so it was a four -party

oh four parties yeah that's right there's a four

party but yeah it was a lot going on it was very

busy but it was very satisfying yeah there's

a oh go ahead The more it's so much Where was

I don't remember it? There's a It's a scene where?

Doofenshmirtz is holding up 3d Because I think

I'm supposed to see and then Perry flies through

it. He goes. Oh there it is Yeah It's not a scooter.

It's a sailboat. It's a That's right Yeah, there

is a sailboat dummy yeah, yeah Forget what he

said exactly, but yeah, it's like it's a sailboat.

No, it's just Perry It's a sailboat he puts on

his hat. It's Perry the sailboat There's a miss

misspelled meme going around Facebook No, it's

about fall. Who else is ready for hoodies, bonfires,

boots and jeans, crisp cool air, hot cocoa, football,

and beautiful fall colors? I'm sorry, no one

wants bonfires. Thank you very much. I'm going

to keep my bone as far away from open flames

as possible. Yeah. You know, you know they misspell

memes on purpose because people Know they do

because people complain and the more they complain

the more comments it gets Yeah, and it's like

I want to make a man specifically that has the

wrong form of you are in it and Then watch it

go viral because everyone's like grammar Nazi

So at the end of this episode I forget how this

happens exactly but there Vanessa is tied to

the escalator and she's being sucked into An

upended lawnmower Well, yeah, it was doof Walks

by and he sees push button start mower and he's

like does this really work? He pushes the button

and the lawnmower goes crazy And the lawnmower

ends up on the escalator. Okay. The lawnmower

ends up on the escalator, it ends up getting

caught and because I think it was from Ferb swinging

in or from her swinging off of something, she

got caught in whatever she swung off of. The

wires or whatever it was that she dropped down

from. having to have Ferb save her, what I had

to do a double take with is this lawnmower is

coming at them, he's essentially sitting on her

lap in reverse facing the lawnmower, and... Oh

my. He pulls out his pocket knife. He uses his

pocket knife to clip the cord so that she's no

longer being sucked in. But then as it fumbles

down toward him, the lawn mower then starts coming

toward them down the escalator, he uses his rod

and reel to snag the Swiss Army Knife store's

sign, which is essentially a giant Swiss Army

Knife. Well, that's what I was that's where I

did the double take was like I'm like, okay,

I get it He's going through all his Swiss Army

stuff to cut the thing. I understood that at

first I thought It was his little one and I'm

like wait, where'd he get a big? Oh is that I

don't see watch it twice cuz I'm like, oh That's

right. It's amazing that the Swiss Army store

would have the exact same color knife It was

a simple matter of mass displacement right into

a bigger version of itself Yeah, then he uses

the anti -shrinkinator on it that he just happens

to carry around in this pocket Yep. Yep. There

you go. It makes it a bigger one and he pulls

out the he pulls out the screwdriver and it just

dismantles the Good times Good times. Good times.

And of course, it wouldn't be a Phineas and Ferb

episode or an episode about being in a store

without a shoplifting gag. Oh, yeah. I was going

to pay for that. Totally going to pay for that.

Tell it to the judge, buddy. It kind of reminds

me of a number of years ago, folks, a certain

podcaster. went in the back room of Target and

grabbed a whole bunch of Transformers toys that

weren't out on the shelves. And I walked right

out the door with them. I didn't pay for one

of them! Yes, you did. You paid for them, but

you weren't supposed to be back there. I wasn't

in the back room. They were on a pallet in the

aisle, and I just started going through the pallet.

I was opening the boxes. I didn't go in the back

and go for them. I just... That I could have

sworn the way you told that old story as you

went in the back This is this is just a really

old story and has taken on a life of its own

over the last seven years or so But yeah, no,

they were just on a palette if they were so boxed

I opened up all the boxes and fished through

all the ones and grabbed the ones I wanted which

was most of them I think I bought like ten of

them that day. Yeah, you did. Yeah, but the show

was anyway anyway to digress So we've got this

shoplifting gag, and of course in the end...

Wait, wait, I don't have anybody to curse! That's

right. But Ferb gets a kiss. Yep. Yeah, way to

go Ferb! So Ferb has a nasty case of requited

love. Yep. I think that romance is gonna blossom

obviously over the series, but it's taking its

time, which is fine. Yeah, she's in every episode.

He's only seen her a couple times you know it

seems like this is what third kiss or something

No, it's his first kiss, but it's like the second

or third time. He's seen her oh Well these are

these are Preactive kisses that I guess So five

zone round for the necessary roughness right

five five plus if possible because again That's

not a part of our rating system All right, we're

gonna take a quick break when we get back there's

gonna be no more bunny business and then spa

day whoo spa day Sorry boys, not today all right.

Oh wait boys. I almost forgot your mom's penny

shopper Hey What are you two gonna move that

stupid box out of the door box? How did that

come? The delivery guy brought it while you two

were camping out in the mailbox. Oh, man. I can't

believe it here Finally the world -famous x -ray

vision glasses. This is gonna be great Whoa?

We got totally ripped off Ferb let me see that

comic again. Oh for crying out loud Amazing illusion

fool your friends does not actually provide x

-ray vision. Oh, man. This is a ripoff It's just

like that bodybuilding course we got last summer.

And I was so looking forward to looking through

things. I can't even say that horrible letter.

INEAS ERB! There's no F in there. It's not even

pass fail though. Change the rules a little bit

because it's funny. He says at the end he was

If it's any consolation, I'd give you an a and

he's like it means nothing at all It means next

to nothing So cute so have you and the the wife

and the kids ever had bunny rabbits for pets

No, but we do visit the Easter Bunny every year

sometimes twice That guy over there is just a

guy in a suit. That's not the Easter bunny Run

over and beat up on him punch him in the face

a couple times Easter bunny tangent cuz that's

that's a whole other you go down that rat hole

for half an hour to an hour So we're at no more

bunny business folks. No more bunny business

and later We'll talk about spa day for no more

bunny business Candice finds a rabbit outside

of her house and decides to take care of it.

However, the rabbit is actually Dennis, a former

ALCA agent who went rogue and is on a mission

to infiltrate Perry's lair and steal the system

of the ALCA. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb build...

build? Purchase? Oh. Wow. Someone needs to rewrite

that. Feinstein and Ferb, quote -unquote, purchase

some x -ray glasses and then when they feel that

they have been ripped off, they build their own

pair. The glasses then give them the idea to

help others. Elsewhere, after realizing that

Perry the Platypus isn't showing up, Dr. Ewing

and Schmerz decide to create Planty the Plotted

Plant to replace Perry. His plans to induce all

of the dogs in the apartment next to his building

away so that he won't be able to be annoyed by

the noise that they make. Oh boy. There's a lot

going on in this episode, too. Yeah, I mean,

it's interesting. It's looking... You know, there's

a lot going on. You got Candice and Dennis, the

pets, and then you got Perry versus Dennis throughout

the whole thing. Then you got Phineas and Ferb

with the x -ray glasses. And then you got Doof

and Perry and all the dog stuff. So you got Perry,

essentially, into two different plots here. Because,

well, no, Perry's not. Oh, I should take that

back. It's Planty the Potted Plant. It's Planty

the Potted Plant, yeah. Who manages to beat the

crap out of him and destroy his lab, despite

the fact that it's a potted plant. Yeah. Well,

Smurfs did hit him. And then... The in the course

of hitting him it made the plant swing back and

yeah Yeah, it's simple physics here. He's it's

a pendulum that you can easily dodge There you

go. Uh -huh Doofenshmirtz sucks at kickball.

What makes you think he'd be better at dodging

plants? You know If you can dodge a plant you

can dodge a ball and apparently he can't dodge

a plant. That's right I I may have been too hasty.

I'm sorry You completely missed the dodgeball

a true underdog story reference didn't you there

cotton? Let's sure if I've actually seen that

Really you've never seen dodgeball a true underdog

story. Oh my god. That's hilarious movie. I don't

think I have They even make ESPN really Wow,

okay ESPN 8 the Ocho Yeah, I'll have to I'll

find you that's just out of context. I'm yeah

Yeah, yeah your sports world famous x -ray vision

glasses. Oh, man. This is a ripoff. You know

that It just occurs to me that they're they're

completely using them wrong Yeah, it's like you

don't use x -ray glasses to see your skeleton

I mean, you know, that's kind of cool, but now

that's not what they're for Okay, so what are

they for? Yeah, boobs, man. Come on. These are,

you know... Use them to see boobs, okay? He barely

gets that Isabella is in love with him already.

How do you think he's going? He's only ten. Alright,

fine. Point taken. Mean come on now. Yeah Well

on the other hand, you know, Kansas finds a ninja

bunny and plays dress -up Yeah, that's she calls

it. Mr. Cutie patootie. Yeah But going back to

the glasses for a second here sure as we all

had those comics with those Order forms like

we all sent away for that kind of stuff when

we were kids, right? Everybody did that right?

It's not just me, right? I did not send away

for anything Wow. No, I'm sorry. I had absolutely

no interest in in the the five -step bodybuilding

program in the back of the You know in the back

of the comp book Yeah, apparently Phineas get

jipped on that but Ferb didn't. Yeah Ferb panned

out That line in Rocky Horror Charles Atlas in

just seven days. I can make you a man Okay, you

never heard that Sports goes over your head Rocky

horror goes over mine. I've never said don't

even just Because it just seven days I can make

you a man Okay Alrighty Sorry That can come out

post so bunny loves carrots that says His weakness

Candice has found that the bunnies weakness.

Yes. Yes. Yeah, she's like do the worm now the

robot Dog bark damn you Yeah, and he did it he

did everything I was I was kind of feeling bad

for was a little embarrassed for him She dresses

him up in doll clothes. Come on now. He's got

a problem Problem, it's not just Candice either.

I mean, this is some guess some daddy issues

or something. I don't know I do love Linda's

one scene in this though. She goes passing by

the living room right as they're fighting She

nearly sees them fighting. She goes what? Okay,

just got a new pet. Oh nice So the dog biscuit

-inator. The giant dog biscuit -inator. That

thing is not going to keep the dogs quiet. No.

That's not how it works. No. I don't know why

he'd think that's how it works. And I don't know

how the hell he got it turned because in one

scene the giant dog biscuit is standing vertically.

and it's held by a harness or whatever it is

with two rockets on the side of it so the rockets

are also vertically when the next time we see

it it's actually horizontally and the rockets

seem if I'm probably misremembering this but

the rockets seem like they're not even there

I could be wrong but I don't know it's just kind

of weird how that how it ended up horizontal

I don't remember a strange turning of the Biscuitinator

Yeah, well it did But it did do it. I just remember

the dogs eating it. That's all yeah Speaking

of eating what a Buford eat Everything Buford's

on a seafood diet if he sees it That's funny

is it like number one eater and yeah, what would

the ribbon say number one eater that's who Try

not to eat anything on your way to the parking

lot. Wow. This is the fourth Kevin Smith USQ

reference we've had in this show. Yeah! Really

like Kevin Smith, I can't help it. back in the

day yes and all of his classic stuff yes currently

no not so much um yeah i haven't seen any of

his recent stuff yeah yeah anyway so the bunny

uses the x -ray glasses to find perry's secret

tunnel um you know again using them wrong right

uh but my question is how did phineas not see

the secret tunnel because he was wearing them

and he was in the backyard yeah that's Yeah,

that's a little conundrum for us. I guess suspension

of disbelief. I don't know I guess so I do love

all the stuff. They do find though. I thought

that was hilarious. Yeah the giant cereal box

prize The x -ray let's find the dinosaur. It's

the x -ray glasses montage Yeah, all the things

they find that montage has one very special guest

appearance, okay? Which hazel from looney tunes,

okay? No, she's in there. She's don't she's the

witch during the the cauldron as they're looking

through the houses Okay, that is not okay, that's

not okay I'm sure I'm sure I saw it. I oh yeah,

okay there you go Where'd all the carrots go?

I leave the backyard. There's a bunch of carrots.

I come back and they're gone That's right that

must suck for you That must be annoying and she's

like you have no idea Yeah, that will suck for

you my entire life sucks. This is what I live

with so the bunny gets distracted by the carrots

and loses Like like we didn't see that happening

and at the end he looks like Orson Welles Really

terrible Yeah Plancy the potted plant thwarted

doof and becomes a full -fledged member of Oka

He got a hat that's right. So when you when you

take off the hat you go It's a potted plant.

And then when you put the hat back on you go

Plancy the potted plant Yep. I forgot his name

there for a minute. It's Plancy. Plancy the potted

plant. That's right, because he doesn't have

a hat. What would you rate this one? You know,

I'd probably give it a four. I liked the whole,

you know, rogue agent dynamic. You know, I was

okay with the separation of the doof and parry

storylines for the time being, just because the

whole planty the potted plant thing just kind

of makes it worthwhile. You know, you don't mind

parry not being there because doofensmerch is

getting the crap beat out of him by a stationary

object. Well, not so stationary because it was

attached to a pendulum. Or rather, it was the

pendulum. Do you get the idea? Yeah. I heard,

folks, we need a spa day, so coming up next...

Oh, wait, wait. What did you give it? Oh, yeah.

What did I give it, Todd? I don't know. What

did you give it? I know. I'm going... No, you

were jumping the gun there. I also give it a

four. I really, really enjoyed it. The only reason

why I take a point off is for all of Candice's

girly, girly stuff with Dennis in the beginning.

That just kind of... I don't know. But yeah,

I also give it a four. I really did enjoy it.

I thought it was a lot of fun. I forgot his name.

I was just calling him Mr. Cutie Petunia. he's

Dennis the rogue rabbit nice there should have

been a thing in I don't I don't think there's

a thing in the end credits but there should have

been a thing at the end the end credits Dennis

the rogue rabbit will return does he I think

he does at one point or another but be ashamed

if he didn't there should have been a bond reference

in there oh yeah that would have been funny All

right, folks, we're gonna go have volcanic rock

traipse down to our bodies, I guess. I don't

know. It's spa day. Here's Miss Piggy. Geez.

Everyone knows you're a great singer. Would you

sing a song with us? Miss Piggy everybody! So

it is time for a spa day. Candice and Stacey

have a spa day. But thanks to Candice, they get

sidetracked when she notices that Jeremy was

building houses and decides that she and Stacey

should help them. Their spa day also inspired

Phineas and Ferb to build a spa of their own.

Meanwhile, Dr. Newenstrom takes in a lost kitten

that causes havoc with his old inventions. So

this is another episode where we have multiple

innate whores. There you go. I dig this episode.

This episode is hilarious. I liked it. Yeah,

I thought it was really cool. I thought it was

really fun, because how often are little boys

going to get interested in spa stuff? They build

themselves a spa. They do action it up a little

bit with the volcanic rock. and all this and

all that and everything else um is it just mir

did they recycle the the the the uh let's all

go to the car wash uh conveyor belt here because

i swear that spot a conveyor belt came out of

the car wash from a few episodes ago that may

have disappeared everything else disappears they

just kind of rebuild it that's true um I like

the DIY volcanic rock. It's like they just bring

a volcano over and all the lava flow into the

yard. You got to let that cool off before you

use it. I think my only note that I had here

was we actually have a doof plot where he really

isn't being evil at all. You know? Believe this

new cat is more evil than he is at this point

Yeah, I mean honestly his schemes aren't terribly

evil to begin with for the generally But like

this cat shoots a gluminator at the Sun Yeah,

he retired the gluminator Well, there's a bunch

of stuff. We thought it retired. They're all

popping up here. Yeah the eraser nater the gluminator

the What's the other one? Too many inators. Lots

of inators. Inators for everything. If you don't

have an inator, you don't have anything. Okay,

so Candice and Stacey want to go to the spa,

really bad, but instead of going to the spa,

they get nail duty. And no, it's not a manicure.

Yeah. I'm sorry. I jumped all over that. It's

my bad. I saw where that was going and I just

couldn't help myself. Yeah. Nailed duty. Nailed

duty. He said duty. Stop shitting on my nails!

So this is what I didn't understand at first.

At first, is that Doofenshmirtz says that he

gives everybody Nicknames like Carl is dr. Coconuts

And he's like I Sometimes I wish I didn't know

so much I'm like what could that? possibly mean

What could that possibly be? We get the pulling

of the shades and then Carl dressed in coconuts.

He's a doctor's outfit and coconuts and he's

dancing. And honestly, they should have prefaced

that with, you know, what is seen cannot be unseen.

I'll never get that out of my head now. Yeah.

Ferb gets to do his Spa Day wrap. No, there's

a seaweed wrap. That's what it was. He gets to

do the seaweed wrap. Yeah, that's right. And

then Buford ends up fighting with the squid again.

Ah, he's framing the squid. Although it's not

for Ferb's honor this time. It's for a bunch

of seaweed. There you go. Ah, Perry saves Doof.

Doof saves the cat. That was interesting. Perry

loves it. It wasn't yeah, I mean everybody loves

it. They're all like yay, you're not evil at

all He says I don't have enough middle fingers

for all of you so go away And There's a line

in the rap that says shiatsu gesundheit that

made me giggle thought that was funny The cat

fires the erase tonator at the spa Mom comes

home and Kansas says the spa is gone, isn't it?

I don't even know what that means We're just

enjoying the spa what spa the spa is gone, isn't

it? Yeah, yeah Yeah, so I mean, it's uh, I I

thought it was cute that the cat is just kind

of being adorable and destroying the world Yeah

The cat is more evil than Dr. D. Exactly. They

didn't give the impression that the cat was being

malicious. You know, it wasn't like Dennis where,

you know, he puts on his... Did Dennis put on

a hat or did he just... No, he didn't have a

hat. He just kind of turned evil all of a sudden.

He was like all cute and all dressed up and then

he went, I'm evil, you know? I mean, the cat...

Nothing like that here with the cat. The cat's

just like... Being adorable and rolling around

and flipping buttons Just doing what cats do

Yeah, apparently yeah, I You'd know more about

that than I would you have cats. You're not a

cat person. Okay. Yeah by that I'm gonna have

to become a cat person. So Doesn't work that

way, you know, honestly, you can't just inherit

No, no I said I'm gonna have to become a cat

person and you say it doesn't it doesn't work

that way when in a relationship and That person

and their mother has 13 cats. I yeah kind of

have to become a cat person You're marrying the

cat lady. That's kind of strange Like I said,

you don't walk into a relationship with a cat.

The cat is basically going to resent you. You're

going to have 13 angry little beings all resenting

you. When you start as a kitten, then that kitten

is adorable and they grow up with you and they're

like, I love you because you feed me and pet

me. A fully grown cat will just be like, I hate

you and everything you stand for. Yes, yeah,

don't lock eyes with a cat because the cat will

say I must break you You're gonna have 13 little

pairs of claws jutting out from underneath the

couch to scratch at you So dr. New finish burns

cosplays as crusty the clown Hahaha, I did not

make that connection, but that's funny. Well,

yeah, it's yeah Cuz he's painting a mr. Potato

head picture, but it turns out is the cat hits

the button and it basically Blah auto paints

doof and it ends up looking like Krusty the Clown.

Yeah. Yeah And the cat's name I'm gonna call

him mr. Fluffy pants because he reminds me of

my uncle fluffy pants Don't actually know why

we call them that he never wore any pants This

pants for it actually fluffy, but it's funny

though because he kind of did look like the cat.

Yeah Good times Good times so I would give this

one probably a three Really? Well, you know it

again, I can't relate to spas and the fact that

the There was very little actual spa going on

in this episode because Candice and Sacy were

off chasing Jeremy and destroying houses that

were supposed to be going toward the homeless

or toward poor people or something. There was

a cute rap song, I liked it, but it wasn't memorable

like something that maybe Vanessa sang or like

Baljeet. Screaming because he's angry It's that

you know work. We're kind of coming off the tail

end of a really good episode here, so It's not

Vanessa or norm good, but it is still very well

done and most of the episode it has Phineas and

Ferb focusing on getting the materials to build

the spa because Candice has veered off on what

their what her and Stacey's original plan was

and you know, hi Was hi Yemeni supposed to be

a Jiminy Cricket reference Hi, hi, Yemeni. Yeah,

because she says When she first sees Jeremy she

Candice can't talk and she says hi Yemeni and

Kansas and Stacey's like, oh hi Jeremy, so But

no, I really did dig this one. I thought it was

fun all around, especially with the whole cat

plot with Dr. I think really what shines for

me in this one isn't the spa day stuff. I mean,

I can relate to wanting to relax, not necessarily

with mud on my face, but, you know, I can relate

to that anyway. But really what shines here is

the doof plot and I have to give it a five because

Mr. Fluffy. Yeah. That evil evil cat is just

that unintentionally evil cat is just amazing

Through all the back backlog dinators, yeah just

hilarious All right. Well, you know the cat may

have worn my heart enough to bestow upon him

an extra half a point So three and a half points

fluffy pants Alrighty then we're gonna take a

quick break come back to close the show After

this. Aw, congratulations! It's a platypus! What

do you think of my new nanny, Amazo? Nice, huh?

You know what time it is? Evil story time see

I wrote my new evil scheme in pop -up book format

once upon a time Yesterday like a quarter to

six. I was watching a nature documentary, and

I learned how before a baby's born Its constant

companion is the soothing steady beat of its

mother's heart. Even after it's born, the sound

of the mother's heartbeat continues to be a safe,

calming beacon to a growing child, in some cases

up until their early thirties. Suddenly, I was

struck with a brilliant idea to project the sound

of my own heartbeat across the city, causing

all the babies to believe that I am their leader,

like the Pied Piper, except with babies. I will

have a mighty baby army and no one would fight

back because, you know, they're babies. Finally,

the time came for me to tell you my evil plan

in pop -up book form and... Oh, I'm sorry, the

book seems to have caught up to us in real time.

Anyway, behold, the Bombominator. I am shocked

and dismayed. Well now you can't be both you

be shocked I'll be dismayed coming in 2016 Steve

us. What's that? You've heard of hydrogen. You

may know boron. But of all the elements on the

periodic table, none is more fascinating and

less abundant than pizzasium infinionite. Pizzasium

infinionite was first discovered by fortune hunters

50 years ago in the year 1894. No one is really

sure what it does, but look to the future for

hover vehicles powered by pizzasium infinionite.

In the world of tomorrow. See, that's what it

is. Where did you get the... It's gone! Someone

took the last one! What luck! Pizzasium infinionite!

That science prize is as good as mine! So why

am I here again? Because, as a person of superior

intellect, I require an angry wall of meat to

protect my science project. Angry wall of meat,

huh? Yeah, I could do that. Oh great, now I have

to scour this whole place and find the pizzasium

and probably have to wrench it out of the hands

of some random shopper. Wait, Dad, I can do this

for you. I can go find this - this pizzazium

thing and prove to you that I can be responsible,

that I can do things on my own. Then you can

get me my own car, right? I don't know. Are you

sure you can - Of course I can. I'm me. It'll

be a piece of cake. We'll see. I'm not hearing

a no. I'm not saying a yes. Here, you can take

this pizzazium locator. It'll help. Emerging

to the judge. Don't worry, guys. We'll get this

all straightened out. Vanessa! Vanessa! No, no.

You can't take me. I don't have anywhere to curse.

Whoa, Mom. Do you think you found everything

you need? I think I have enough to tide over

the bridge club. That's a lot of potato salad.

Well, time to find out where they dragged that

off to. Guess that car will have to wait. Oh,

yeah. Thanks. Did I miss something? Thanks, Ferb.

episode 36 of the podcast organization without

a cool acronym. So we've had our Next full -on

double full cartoon episode where we have four

cartoons instead of two here And they're all

Fairly well done. I don't think there's any like

horribly bad ones I don't you know, we didn't

really nitpick or or kind of poke holes in the

plot too much on any of these I think we're still

in a good stride It's working out Yeah, it's
