TheGCRN.com is expanding its editorial team and looking for insightful, passionate writers across the pop culture space. We cover gaming, technology, television, film, comics, animation, and emerging geek media.
We are looking for writers who can balance sharp critical analysis with engaging, accessible commentary. If you have a unique perspective and the drive to contribute to the geek conversation, we want to hear from you.
What We’re Looking For
- Deep, specialized knowledge in at least one area of geek culture
- Sharp, personality-driven writing that makes your perspective clear
- Ability to produce clean, publish-ready copy without heavy editing
- Consistent availability and communication
Submission Requirements

Your Application
Please include the following in your submission:
- Your name or pen name
- Types of content you want to cover (TV, Movies, Comics, Gaming, Tech, etc.)
- Ongoing review concepts — specific shows, games, or releases you’d cover regularly
- Column or article concepts — recurring features, top lists, retrospectives, streaming guides
- One-off feature ideas — editorials, convention coverage, cosplay spotlights, industry advice
- 2–3 writing samples (links to published work or a portfolio preferred)
