About this Episode

The hosts discuss two Phineas and Ferb Season 2 episodes: "Let's Take a Quiz" and "At the Car Wash." They break down the game show parody mechanics, Candice's scheme to get on TV after learning Jeremy is in a commercial, Doof's infomercial-destroying plot, and the boys' elaborate automatic car wash built to help the Fireside Girls raise money for the star-nosed mole. They also explore their own experiences with game shows, infomercials, and car washes.

There's a hundred and four days of summer vacation

till school comes along just to end it. So the

annual problem for our generation is finding

a good way to spend it. Episode 34 day 34 here

on Palka the podcast organization with a collateral

acronym Brought to you by the E cast radio network.

I am one of your host GFG on my journey me is

P cotton -court Michael. Hello. Hey, how's it

going? It's going today is the 34th day of summer

Means it is time for more Phineas and Ferb on

today's episode. We have Game shows infomercials

and car washes car washes car Have you ever wanted

or have you ever been on an actual game show?

No, no, I have never had the urge to be on a

game show be honest So you've never had the urge

to fly out to California to get free tickets

to Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy or any of that

kind of stuff I did not even know they were in

California Really for some reason I was thinking

New York Think they say studio city or something

or other and that's something in California.

But anyway could be wrong. All right sure I Don't

know since since this has been a couple of years

now But since Wayne Brady first took over let's

make a deal and brought that back. I kind of

always wanted to go to that because that's essentially

Cosplaying for television because people show

up in these weird costumes. Yeah, I've seen that

and he picks the best one It's funny that I'm

mentioning Wayne Brady because Wayne Brady actually

shows up in this show later in a later season

in the later episode Yeah And of course we've

all been to car washes, right? I assume I mean

come on now. Oh, yeah I was gonna say Amy that

hasn't been to a car wash. You've really let

a sheltered life. No, we love the car wash When

I say we I mean the boys the boys yeah love the

car wash, you know toward the end how they have

The air dry basically, they've got these nets

filled with Stuffed monkeys And the air is the

the the giant blow dryer is pushing them around

so it looks like they're climbing than that.

Oh Wow, it's kind of neat the boys enjoy it Oh,

boy. And infomercials, have you ever been sucked

into buying anything off of infomercials? You

know, I would never buy anything off an infomercial,

but I have been guilty of staying up all night

and watching them. So Billy Mays couldn't sell

you anything, really? Come on now. You know,

oddly enough, Billy Mays had his headquarters

not too far away from here in Valparaiso. Oh,

wow. That's where I lived during college. Very

cool, very cool. Yeah, infomercials, the only

ones I ever really cared about, and this is when

I was like, you know, 9, 10, 11 years old and

I was begging my mom to get this stuff for me,

was the CD collection, uh, infomercials. Oh yeah.

One of those greatest love songs of the 80s.

Cool Rock of the 80s, you know, this ultimate

80s 12 disc collection, you know, those kind

of things. Oh, God, I wanted every single one

of those I could possibly get. I think in my

lifetime, I've only had about six of them ever.

Mystic Music presents Cool Rock. The songs are

hot, but the rock is cool. Cool Rock contains

35 chart toppers for only $19 .95 for cassettes,

or $24 .95 for CDs. Here's how to order. To order

Kurok, call 1 -800 -835 -7000. Or send $19 .95

for two cassettes, or $24 .95 for two CDs, plus

$4 .95 shipping. To Kurok, PO Box 4200, Omaha,

Nebraska. That's funny. You know, the company

that did that was called... Time Life? No, not

Time Life. It was Heartland. Heartland. And Heartland

was owned by Infinity Resources. Which is somewhere

in Indiana, right? No, actually, it's in Itasca.

It's up by O 'Hare Airport. Just across town,

like from O 'Hare. But I was the systems manager

there. So I ran the website. Yeah, it was kind

of neat. We were in charge of the Freedom Rock.

Is that Freedom Rock, man? Yeah, man. Well, turn

it up, man. You remember that one? No, you're

too young. Yeah No, I'm not that young Yeah,

the people that were at the time being nostalgic

for the 60s Yeah, see no people in my time were

nostalgic for the 80s Yeah, cuz that would 60s

was cool and great and everything else don't

get me wrong, but The 80s is really where it's

at. Well in the 80s when I was watching Transformers

the freedom rock That freedom rock man. The freedom

rock commercial would come on in between the

Transformers and GI Joe and stuff like that Alright

folks, so now that we've talked about our various

experiences with quiz shows and infomercials

and car washes we're gonna go take a quiz after

this oh my gosh Stacey have you heard about what

about Jeremy he's on a TV commercial yeah I know

I heard it from Christina who heard it from Jenny

who heard it from Jesse who heard it from you

well it's totally true do you know what this

means he's totally out of your league what am

I gonna do how should I know I don't know anything

about celebrity relationships that's it If I

can get on TV, then Jeremy will see my star quality

and we'll be on the same level again! How exactly

are you gonna do that? I guess you're right.

Getting on TV might be kind of difficult. Yeah,

I guess you forgot about that insignificant little

detail. Insignificant little detail. Insignificant

little Phineas and Ferb! Stacey, you're a genius!

Would you call my mom and tell her that? Phineas

and Ferb! Phineas and - So you just switch the

solenoid here with the ganglion there and...

Vinny's at Ferb! Hey, Candice. Whatcha doin'?

Freakin' out? What are you guys doin'? We're

helping the Fireside Girls. Yeah, we're working

on our broadcasting patches. We're gonna do a

game show. Valjeet and Bufour are the contestants.

We're even gonna broadcast it all over the tri

-state area. Great! I knew I came to the right

place. Here's the deal. I'm the star. Well, alright

then. Okay, one of you get off the stage. right

then let's get this thing started you know we

should give parry a cameo hey where's parry it

is time for let's take a quiz of course i can't

sing it like phineas does let's take a quiz no

is that not it no sir No, not really. When Candice

learns that Jeremy will start a TV commercial,

she worries that with his newfound celebrity,

he will forget about her. So as Phineas and Ferb

produce their own TV game show, Candice uses

the opportunity to get herself on the airwaves.

Meanwhile, Dr. Newfound Schmarts tries to erase

all infomercials in the Tri -State area. I love

this episode. Really? Yeah, I was just like could

they not telegraph it enough, you know, I mean

we we already know how this is gonna end There's

no surprise here Well, yeah, there kind of was

a surprise I mean, I didn't think the I didn't

think he was gonna end up I didn't think Perry

was gonna end up hitting him with the turbo the

The the tornado vac and then that was gonna knock

him into the shrinkinator 50 million times to

shrink the damn James you shank everything Like

it it fishtailed good, but I didn't expect that

fishtail. He you know oddly enough. He he did

not defeat doofenshmirtz Because he did exactly

what he set out to do What do you mean he did

exactly what he set out to do he wanted to destroy

the No, it's specifically what he wanted that

we might be getting ahead of ourselves here,

but specifically what he wanted to do was destroy

the the antennas and Phineas and Ferb just happen

to have a giant TV antenna in their backyard

Yeah, but to shrug it But you miniaturize that

this didn't really destroy it that essentially

just shrunk the signal. It makes it functionally

unoperative I call that a win I'm sure he'd call

that a win, too. Okay, so this is the only time

in the history of the show that Doofenshmirtz

actually wins. At least for season two. There

you go. Yeah, sure. Well, we don't know that

yet. You know, we got a lot of season two to

catch up on. Yeah, I know. He said boo -yah.

What the hell? Boo -yah! Teen Titans coming through.

Yeah, that's not where I know that from. I know

that from, uh... Will Friedle on on Kim Possible

as Ron Stoppable. Oh, yeah, that's where Booyah

really Teen Titans was years later. Anyway, many

years later. Yeah. Well, it was actually two

days was two thousand. Yeah, it was two years

before Kim Possible or so. So, yeah. Well, the

original I'm thinking, I mean, honestly, the

kids and I are watching Teen Titans go right

now. So, you know. The kids watching Teen Titans

Go right now have no idea who Kim Possible is.

Yeah, well. Who's that hottie cosplaying as that

chick at the convention? Who's the chick? Yeah,

who's the chick? Yeah, later. Exactly. So, let's

Kim Possible. Who? What? Never mind, for your

time. Let's take a quiz. Like I said, I really

enjoyed this one. I thought this was really fun.

As we saw at the beginning, you know, neither

one of us had really been on a game show or anything

like that and just seeing, you know, the inner

workings and that kind of stuff. I just thought

that was super fun. I couldn't follow the inner

workings because I just could not understand

what was going on. I shared Candice's pain. You

know, the game show starts, Candice is like,

I have no idea what's going on. And I'm like,

I have no idea. I'm quickly losing interest here

because I have no idea what's going on. When

I say inner workings I mean like the backstage

stuff and the signs with Buford and Baljeet as

many star -nosed moles and and Baljeet doing

the The the hair and makeup and and all that

and Buford's like you better make me look good

I don't think a million cans of hairspray He

just needs a mirror yeah, and and I will agree

that the the game show itself was a little weird

like i don't even know what they were trying

the only reference i got to any game show i've

ever watched in my entire life was when finneas

said all questions must be answered in the form

of an answer so that's it's kind of making fun

of jeopardy but the rest of it i'm not sure what

the hell the game show was supposed to be didn't

mean i didn't like it though i thought it was

kind of fun i was having trouble honestly it's

like i'm not sure where the humor is here I'm

curmudgeonly there's there's always humor and

pies in the face. So there's that Yeah, the physical

challenges Yeah, it's like double day. Okay.

Yeah. All right. Now you can complain that I'm

going to the wiki jeopardy rule where all questions

must be forming an answer. Wheel of Fortune.

Ferb is dressed up like a woman and standing

beside the game board like Vanna does. Double

Dare is the physical challenge. The Michelin

web look and all that. Let's take a quiz. His

first round is known as the quizzed off round.

Spoofs a segment of the BBC comedy series. Okay,

it does say this in here, but I knew this before

that. I was not looking at the wiggy when I said

that, because as soon as I heard it, I was like,

hey, it's Astro. You're not the only person who

picked up on Trollfaz. Yeah. You know, and then

we got the Ron Popiel doof does. But wait, there's

more. So and that's really this is the this is

the episode. It's Ronco. I forgot about Ron Popiel.

Go Ronco. That's right. Right. The Burger -Matic

5, what did he say? Burger -Matic 2100 or whatever

it was, yeah. I was thinking Eric Idle. Not because

it sounded like Eric Idle, but because Eric Idle

talks TV. Do you talk TV? No, no, no, no, no.

Yes, yes, yes. Everything Doofenswirt said in

this episode sounded like a commercial. Sounded

like Rick. Yeah, no, we're not we're not bringing

transformers with us folks, but not this time.

I refuse to allow that I'm gonna go on the wiki.

I'm gonna change it specifically to say in the

wikis reachingly manner that He was talking TV

Just like Eric Idle. I talked TV Get it now.

Well supplies last Offer expires while you wait

So I did have something that bothered me in this

episode Okay. Okay. So Jeremy's on a TV commercial.

Yeah, Candice is feeling inadequate. Oh He's

not gonna love me because he's a big commercial

star now and I'm just chopped liver She calls

Stacey. She says Stacey. I'm just chopped liver

Stacey does not deliver the pep talk You were

in space you were queen of Mars you are Candice

Flynn Candice, you know does not in turn jump

up and go I'm Candice Flynn. She just kind of

feels sorry for herself and ah Whereas I would

expect Stacey being her best friend Who successfully

pepped her up before in a not so previous episode

to jump up and proceed with the pep talking Did

it bother you? No, I mean, I wasn't expecting

a pep talk from Stacey. Let's see, so this didn't

bother me, but I did like this, but I wrote this

down that Candice always wants to be a star and

that almost, almost interrupts her busting her

brothers. Like if the game show hadn't been miniaturized,

and she won the game, I seriously doubt she would've

even tried to have bust Phineas and Ferb in this

adventure. I'll buy that, yeah, okay. The Doof

Perry fight with all the infomercial products,

that's just awesome. I just love that. I love

the scene where Perry's sneaking around and he

runs right into Doof. Ah, the Doof. Doofenshmirtz,

Plata Tracker 3000, whatever the hell he called

the stupid Plata Tracker. And I'm like, oh my

god, he's like patent pending. I'm like, oh great.

I just love the whole thing. I love Doofenshmirtz,

he's like, I don't even know why I bought this,

I have five already. Now I have five, that's

right. I don't even know what this does and I

have five of them now. Anything else for you

on this one During the game show they said something

that made me giggle He says one of the answers

was Tony and he says Tony and then he says why

not and he goes Why not? And he says, well, Tony

is why not backwards? Don't move backwards, yeah.

Why not? Is Tony backwards? Something like that.

I had to think about it for a second. I'm like,

what? What? Yeah. Yeah. Why not? Is Tony backwards?

You put a space between the Y and the N. Yeah.

Well, when they actually put it on the board,

it spelled it out with a Y. And I was like, oh,

yeah, I guess. Yeah. When they first said Tony,

I'm like. Tony Denzel? What the hell are you?

Who's the boss? Who's he trying to reference

there? Tony. Tony Costanza? No, Tony can't stand

you. Tony Denzel. Who's the boss? I like it when

Finneas says, Candice is on fire! And she goes,

I'm not really on fire, am I? No, you're good.

No, you're good. But honestly, there are no rules

here. There's no structure to this game show.

She could have been on fire. Or they could have

been fixing to put her on fire. I would have

been worried. But she's their sister. They wouldn't

do that to her. They've done many things to her

that I would not have expected well then again

She generally brings it on herself by trying

to bust your brothers and falling into their

shenanigans on accident Yeah, I mean how many?

How many water slides is she accidentally bumbled?

Got an injured along the way episode where she

falls down a mountain and it's like Cactus is

What was that episode we did that earlier this

summer what was the Mount Rushmore episode it

was oh god I don't remember anyway. Yeah, what

would you let's take a quiz? I'm gonna give this

one a three Just gonna give it a four and a half

really see now you like these lots of little

more than I did I think Well the whole infomercial

bit because I mean who hasn't wanted to get rid

I mean like seriously, this is a plan and doof

even says this Technically, this isn't evil because

every one of the world hates infomercial. So

technically he would be doing a civic good For

the work not just the trice area, but for the

world. He actually wait with well Honestly, he'd

be crippling the world because what he intends

to do is that Destroy infomercials or the sets

or the the infomercial? Speakers or whatever

props they use he's talking about destroying

the Antennas yeah, he wants to destroy the rate

the TV antennas and that's getting that That's

not only going to destroy infomercials. That's

going to destroy all of TV Okay, and then he

won't be able to watch Telemundo. Oh God Or he

won't yeah, yeah, cuz yeah, that's another one

where he creates what is it not the gloom it

or he creates the The Raininator 3000inator or

something, because he wants to rain out the damn

soccer games so he can watch Telemundo. Oh god,

that's an episode later. But you know, for me,

I really dug this. I thought it was a really,

really good episode. The Fishtail does work with

how, you know, because technically it's not his

actual plot that... Works into the fishtail,

but it's it's an old plot with the shrinkinator

And I just thought that was hilarious and it

ties into them and saying oh, it's the home version

well We're home. I guess let's play we're home

Yeah, honestly I think he'd have much better

results if he just lined up all of his innaters

and on the Balcony there and just set them all

to go off randomly Well, they all go off at once

later, so we'll talk about that in a few seasons

All right, we are gonna go wash some cars folks

Wash my car All's I can think of is fucking tracks

and and and Raul at the auto wash of doom Well,

it wasn't a car wash of doom. It was the auto

body shop. It was the it was the chop shop Hmm.

How was that episode? It was what does it make

it was make tracks? Duh make tracks There No,

it was a comic there is a Transformers comic

called the car wash of doom Lord and it was uh,

I want to say that was an issue where ratbat

was leading the Decepticons. Oh God, yeah Somebody

help us, please Senator Ratbat is the last thing

we need. Senator Ratbat was leading the Decepticons,

and he was all worried. Well, he wasn't a senator

in the comics. He was an accountant, I think.

Not the old comics that you're talking about,

though. Oh, not the Marvel comics. Yeah, yeah.

He was a senator in the new comics, but in the

old ones, he was an accountant, and he was all

worried about, you know, amount of energon used

versus... Goals and blah blah blah. So he was

essentially the swindle of the comics, right?

No Well, the funny thing is swindle swindles

its own character. This was more like he he was

a micromanager It was like, all right, now, according

to my spreadsheet, it says you have used up this

amount of energon, but only brought back this

amount of energon in energon profit. And because

you're bleeding energon, my chart is going into

the red here, and therefore we're going to have

to scrap you. And then he'd send Swindle in there

to scrap him. Oh, Glorf. What are you kids up

to today? Just trying out our new invention.

It's called the Ladybug 2000 Roving Swing Set.

Want a whirl? Not right now, sweetie. I'm going

to the gardening store. Something's been eating

my hydrangeas. Hmm. Hey, Isabella. Good thing

we installed an airbag. So, whatcha doin'? The

Fireside Girls are trying to raise money to save

the Starnose Mole. And how's it going? Not very

well. We started a bake sale, then we tried cat

sitting, even a lemonade stand, but nothing worked.

Now what's a good way to raise some money? I

got it! We construct a zipline from the top of

Danville's tallest skyscraper all the way to

our - Or we could have a car wash! That's good

too! We'll build the best dang car wash in the

whole dang world, dang it! I - I can't really

pull that off, can I? You're not very street.

Yeah. Alright folks, wrapping up the episode

today, we are gonna be at the car wash. Phineas

and Ferb help Isabella and the Fireside Girls

by building an automatic car wash to help with

fundraising to save the star -nosed mole. Meanwhile,

Stacey advises Candice to play hard to get with

Jeremy, but when Jeremy asks Candice out for

a ride to her brother's car wash, she ignores

her BFF's advice and goes on the date anyway.

Elsewhere, Dr. Newfinch runs He tries to make

a mountain out of a molehill, literally. Like,

doof. What the hell is wrong with him? Don't

make a mountain out of a molehill. I will do

whatever I want! It's kind of like that picture

I posted on Facebook a while back. I saw something

a few months ago. by the time this episode airs.

Picture says, and this actually applies to you,

because your kids are what, 11 and nine? No,

they're eight and almost 10. Yeah. OK, eight

and 10. All right, well, this applies to you

a few years ago when they were four. I told my

four year old, even superheroes have to listen

to their parents. He replied with, Batman doesn't.

That's just. Sad. This is kinda sad and scary.

Who else? My kids are plotting my death. But

yeah, Doof's plot here is just so... Oh my god,

what are you thinking? Like his revenge plots

are just... I mean, the hot dog revenge -inator

I can kinda get, but... Out of a mo hill just

because people told you not to do it when you

were a kid and as you're as an adult This is

what you're spending your alimony check on Yeah,

Charlene. You really need to look at what you're

paying this guy Exactly Especially well, we'll

get to it anyway, so the boys Helping out the

the fire side girl and actually Phineas has the

line this time What you doing? What you doing?

Isabella is doing something and he's just standing

there. So yeah. So beat him to it. Yep. So he's

got the line and then they're going to help the

fireside girls with the car wash and they build

this fantastic, fabulous car wash, I think it's

called. Yeah, there's a whole song about it.

That's a good song. It's a catchy tune. It's

a very catchy tune. What did you like about this

one? In the very beginning, you know, you've

got the boys testing out a new invention that

they built and their mom is just gardening. She's

completely oblivious to the fact that, you know,

they're doing something directly behind her that

Candice would consider bustable. Yeah, no, not

really yeah, I mean Candice She's more concerned

about Jeremy and the date than anything else

honestly well during this episode Yeah, if I

don't think she tries to bust your brothers at

all. It's like she didn't Know she didn't even

say I gotta bust them Gotta bust them all Ferb's

line. You're not very street Yeah, yeah, that's

how I feel all the time Dang it Doesn't does

it as well. He's like dang it. Oh, I'm sorry

Perry. I'm not very street. I know I realize

I'm not very street Once in we get We get another

Star Wars reference in in this episode there

were two Yeah, two Star Wars references The first

one was Candice getting a double bun hairdo.

Yep. And the second one was there was an at -at

in the TV commercial. Mm -hmm. Oh, you caught

that. Oh, yeah. It's blink or you'll miss it,

you know? If you turn your head just for a second,

you won't see it because it was there and gone

almost immediately. I had to circle back and

watch it again just to make sure. Because I didn't

want to be like there was totally an ad in that

commercial and then find out that it was you

know blimp or something Yeah, true Mountain dew

out of a molehill -inator So you know that would

have changed the entire episode mountain dew

out of a molehill look me up You could just put

like glasses, you know, somewhere around and

have the Mountain Dew come down. Between Candice

and Jeremy, they went Super Saiyan like 9 ,000

times in this episode. Super Saiyan? Yeah, because

when she screams on the phone and his hair goes

all the way back. Oh, OK. And the same thing

with her when she's in the in the car wash and

her hair does all these crazy things. Yeah. Jeremy

says, you look great. What do you do to your

hair? She says hot wax. It's a sealer, I think.

She's always doing something with her hair on

accident. Okay, so I have to read these because

they're just hilarious. I didn't write them all

down, so thankfully we have the amazing wiki.

Okay, no, this is fun. Okay, go ahead, let's

hear it. Doofenshmirtz realizes the battery is

dead. So these are all the places he looks for

the battery. It's electric toothbrush, a car,

a flashlight, Frankenstein's head, a symbol -banging

monkey toy, a radio he looks excited at first

but then realizes that there's no battery, a

smoke detector, Dude, change your smoke detector

batteries, you idiot. An alarm clock, and the

last one, the only appearance, non -vocal appearance,

I should mind you, and that just sucks. He looks

for the battery the final time in Norm's rear.

He's got a little battery compartment sticking

out of his butt. That did make me giggle. That

was funny. Now this is the episode, and I'm not

reading this from the wiki, I'm just talking

now. This is the episode I told you when we were

talking about the Invisinator a few days ago

or a few weeks ago, whenever it was. The invisibility

array that he was working on. This is the episode

I was talking about with the sphere thing, the

mountain out of a mole hill thing, where he even

says, oh, I really should have done this in the

basement because the thing just falls down. through

his whole building and we see the thing evaporate

through floor after floor and all these people

are in the building that he supposedly owns the

whole building and you have all these people

working on computers and and other stuff and

yeah yeah yeah it's just strange takes out the

whole building yeah pretty much see now what

i didn't get though is uh He doesn't actually

make a mountain out of a mole hill. He makes

a giant mole Yeah, whose mole hills are the size

of mountains, right? I I must have missed how

that happened Was there a mole at the bottom

of the hole or something and it hit him and made

him huge was it like a Godzilla mole Look he's

Godzilla was yes. Yes a reasonable facsimile

Go Austin Powers and goldmember That's right

What else did or didn't you like about this one

I liked Once I actually got into the car wash

and shown, you know what what they would have

had You know, I had like this weird whirlpool.

I was like toilet swirly bowl thing Uh, yeah,

things that would turn your hair into double

buns. So it's weird stuff like that. And I thought

this car wash is like the vehi... I can't pronounce

it. The vehicular cleanliness version of Charlie

and the Chocolate Factory. Yeah, I can see that.

I expected like Oompa Loompas to come out and

start washing the car. Oh please, no Oompa Loompas.

That's the last thing we need. Like the Kivinky

Dinks. Yeah, yeah, we can use the badink -a -dinks

and I swear the badink -a -dinks were somewhat

of a copy of the The dink -dinks from Spaceballs.

I think that the dink -dinks were copies of the

Oompa Loompas Probably. Yeah. Yeah Sadly, it

all goes back to Charlie and the great glass.

Oh, I'm sorry that that was the book We're Willy

Wonka's chocolate factory. Whatever the hell.

Yeah that one Yeah, that one. Alright, any other

things for car washing? No. Oh yeah, I do. Yeah,

actually at the very end. Yes? Toof. Toof, he's

in this giant shoe for some reason. He says,

who makes shoes this big? No! What happened was

Perry destroyed the thing on Perry's way out.

he stepped on the remote, he stepped on the red

button on the remote. The red button is essentially

the self -destruct button. Even though the thing

doesn't self -destruct, but the boot comes down

and Doof ends up in the boot that he used to,

it was the unstuckinator part of the inator.

Okay, so he ends up in the boot, the boot flies

up, explodes, flies away, and when it lands,

he looks and says, hey check it out, it's an

aglet. And then the star -nosed mole steps in

the boot and walks away with him. I just thought

it was funny that they referenced aglets. Yep.

Awesome. What are you going to rate at the car

wash? Oh, I'm going to give this one a four.

Five, easily. Yeah, okay. Oh, I absolutely loved

it. Everything worked. There wasn't any... I

mean, okay, I could probably take a half a point

off. I'm not going to, but I probably could take

a half point off, because technically, this is

one of Doof's... least. Likely schemes that will

pan off and it's more of a revenge a stupid revenge

scheme than anything else. He's really not Trying

to take over the tri -state area. Yeah, but Everything

about the car wash stuff and Candice and Jeremy

and all that and the boys that all worked for

me But yeah, no, I absolutely loved it It was

a good episode I had I'm trying to think what

did I not like? You give it a four a four is

a good rating of course a good rating is I mean,

it's not like a super episode It's not like I

want to watch this every day But I'm like, you

know, it was it was a good one, you know, I didn't

not like anything about it. It's just It wasn't

Chronicles of Meep, I guess Get over it it is

in the past No, no meep for you. That sets the

bar for everything that comes afterward though

and The bar essentially is raised every single

time for this for me. Yeah There are a few that

are probably gonna be meh, but so far after me.

They've all been really great for me I don't

know what you're But Thaddeus and Thor I thought

that was fun the fort to the moon and all. I

thought that was fun. The giant balsa wood plane

or the... what was that thing made out of? Oh,

that was the... It was the paper pelican. That

was kind of fun. Come on now. Baljeet as a stewardess.

Come on now. That was kind of fun. It was kind

of fun. The peanut chicken, it's all peanut -y.

I better not taste any chicken -y. Come on now,

that was fun. Alright, we're gonna take a quick

break, come back to close the show after this.

I bought it from the TV. Buy now for only $5

.99 and get... I'll take two. Oh, I see you've

taken notice of all the infomercial products.

I seem to have developed an addiction to them.

It started with the fruit dehydrator. Here I've

been eating hydrated fruit like a sucker my whole

life! Excuse me, Perry the Platypus. Sign here,

please. Ah, my servo mat. See, this is what I'm

talking about. I don't even know what a servo

mat is, and now I own five. These infomercials

are taking time away from my evil. People ask,

Doof, if you have unwanted infomercials, how

do you get rid of them? My solution is easy,

simple, and it starts working the same day. With

my scorchinator, I will target TV towers and

melt, smelt, and render them into their basic

components, thereby eliminating infomercials.

And how much would I pay for this? Nothing, it's

Until next time... But wait, there's more! Boop

-a -boom! Trialfaz. Trialfaz? That's right, Trialfaz.

Ha ha ha, that's right! Trialfaz, that's right,

Trialfaz! It's actually Astro's real name on

the Jetsons. Tralfaz? Uh huh. I was not aware

of that. Are you reading the wiki again? No,

I'm not! Quit reading that wiki! I'm not reading

the damn wiki! Tralfaz, how the hell would you

know that if you weren't reading the wiki? Tralfaz?

Are you kidding me? I used to watch the Jetsons

all the time! Jetson, you know, it's funny. I

don't think I've ever seen like an episode of

the Jetsons all the way through Do you have a

dog mr. Jetson? What do you think this is my

mother -in -law? Your dog five feet nine weight

115 and answers to the name of trial faz Trial

faz well faz yuck Astro ever since we found them.

Yeah rastro His name is Trialfaz, and here is

his pedigree to prove it. You've lived a very,

very sheltered life then. Well, the Jetsons were

kind of like the, uh, the... Futuristic Flintstones.

As in futuristic Flintstones. But the Flintstones,

at the time, in like the 50s or some shit, they

were, uh, like, like, um, prime time. So they

came on at night. They were like the Simpsons

of their era. Right. And so I'm assuming, although

I don't really know, I'm assuming that the Jetsons

were kind of like the family guy of their era.

Or like their American dad of their era. It's

like, oh, you know that show that's really popular?

Well, we're going to make another show that's

kind of like it, and we're going to put it on

in the time slot directly after this one on the

same channel. And we're going to see how that

turns out. No, no, no. I will not allow you to

sit here and compare the... Jetsons to the goddamn

family guys. Don't get me wrong, family guy is

great and it's time and whatever else and all

that stuff, but I'm sorry, there's no way in

hell that you can compare the Jetsons to a family

guy. Maybe family guys, let's say Futurama, whereas

you've got one show that's made by one guy and

they go, wow, this show is really popular. We're

going to make another show made by that same

guy and then put it in the time slot directly

after the show that he made the first time. That

I will give you a better analogy. Yeah Yeah,

there's no way in hell you can compare Peter

Griffin to George Jetson George Jetson was ten

times the dad Peter Griffin wanted to be I I

Honestly can't hold up Peter Griffin as a good

role model as a for a father No, not at all doesn't

really work. Where is George Jetson? It does

and it will you know, it's funny It's cuz you

know, Peter Griffin's always saying how dumb

and stupid and shut up Meg And I can't even remember

the name of George Jetson's daughter. It looks

like Jane. No, Jane. Okay, stop. You got George

Jetson, Jane, his wife, daughter Judy, boy Elroy,

and then you got Astro, who's the dog. And then

in later seasons, you had Orbity, which was the

weird alien furball thing they had. Plus you

had Rosie. Orbity was cousin Oliver? No. Orbit,

it was weird. Jump with the shark, bitches! Like,

alright. Come on, Orbit, let's jump that shark.

Come on, Oliver. Oliver, Orbit, mmm. One of these

things isn't like the other. Exactly like it.

Oh, Ferb. There's not really any more, that's

about it. If you think you're some kind of brainiac

I know it all, some kind of a whiz Got more answers

than an almanac Let's take a quiz If you think

you're extraordinary Cut above the best that

there is If your cranial capacity is something

scary Let's take a quiz Let's all take Where

the rules are answer fast and answer often. Let's

meet our contestants She's allergic to parsnips

and dairy say hello to my sister Candice Flynn.

about. You're losing right now and losers don't

Perry the platypus you don't like my little plan

think about it this way since infomercials are

almost universally hated I will actually be doing

a civic good by destroying them Huh? You see?

You like that? Yes, the easy automatic trap -escaper.

I must have left it out where you could reach

it while I was able to reach this! It's the Swapotron
