there's a whole lot of stuff to do before school
starts this fall! So stick with us, cause Phineas
and Ferb are gonna do it all! So stick with us,
cause Phineas and Ferb are gonna - Hello and
welcome to episode 10 of Palka brought to you
by the GeekCast Radio Network. What the hell
is Palka? It is the podcast organization without
a cool acronym. Of course, I am one of your hosts,
TFJoneMike. Joining me is Pecan from Michael.
Hey, how's it going? It's going. Today is the
10th day of summer and we've got one very interesting
episode because this is the first time we head
over to jolly old England. So there's that, and
then of course we have a robot apocalypse later
in Ipe Robot, so we're gonna get right to it
after this. Look, there's Grandma and Grandpa
Fletcher! Grandpa! Grandma! Ah, Phineas! Ferb!
My boys! Oh, Ferb! You're looking more like your
grandfather. Just look at that resemblance. What
do you think, dear? He's a right handsome lad,
he is. You can keep these. I've got loads of
them. Hi, Grandpa! Hi, Grandma! Candice? Can
that be you? You look like a right, beauteous
princess. Thanks! Ta -ta! We're off to the antique
convention. See you tonight! Hey, Gramps, what's
that cool castle next door? Oh, aye, that's our
neighbors. Lord and Lady Pipping. It used to
belong to the Black Knight. The Black Knight?
Such a wonderful tale of valor. The Black Knight
of Worcestershire, some say it's Worcestershire,
went out to fight the dragon no one else would
volunteer. The hounds of heck chased after him
through all the moors and lands, because his
suit of armour was recycled dog food cans. The
Black Knight of Worcestershire, some say it's
Worcestershire, he rode off with his hounds of
heck to face the dragon's fire. Here immortalized
in bronze is the Black Knight himself and his
hounds of heck on their final charge to vanquish
the dragon and here is the disastrous results.
Alright folks a hard day's night the Flynn Fletchers
are in England visiting Lawrence's parents Reginald
and Winifred During their trip Phineas and Ferb
decide to hold a medieval tournament after hearing
their grandfather's story of the Black Knight
of Worcestershire Horseshire. Horseshire. Some
say it's Worcestershire. Some say it's Worcestershire.
Candice also participates in the festivities
only to impress Charles. He needs some water.
Is he good? Yes. Agent P infiltrates Evil Con
to see what Dr. Diffen Schmerz is up to. It's
an Evil Con. He's being evil. I mean, honestly.
Okay, so... I know this happened a lot, a lot
of time after this episode, but going back and
watching this and seeing the name Evil Con, alls
I can think of is Despicable Me 2 when they go
to Villain Con. So, a hard day's night. think
of them finally getting over to see the Fletcher
side of the Flynn Fletcher family? Uh, I want
to say they've shown the grandpa before. I thought,
right? That might, that might be wrong. No, that
was grandpa Joe. That was, that was. No, not
that one. The one that looks like Ferb. Yeah.
Um. I don't remember. I could have sworn this
was their first appearance. Oh, all right. Well
then first appearance of grandpa Fletcher Who
looks like an ancient verb? Yes But you she even
grandma Fletcher even has like This weird wig
plaster thing and mustache that she holds up
to it She's like, just keep it. I have loads
of them. I'm like, seriously, you have loads
of fake hair and beards of your husband, really?
There you go. What kind of business are you in,
lady? I have loads. Very British. Yeah, so they
go to England for the Antique Convention. Yes.
Because his parents are into weird stuff. Was
this the one where they had the... this wasn't
the shellac versus uh no that was the that was
that was a few days ago okay yeah so yeah the
the whole the whole antiquing is a recurring
theme yeah pretty much my notes here says tight
squeeze tubes this is if if there was ever an
innuendo this is it tight squeeze tubes because
they're on the metric system everything's a little
bit smaller there so the coolest thing about
one of the coolest things about this episode
now that I'm looking here on the wiki for it
yeah do you know voices grandpa Fletcher no Malcolm
McDowell I knew that yes yes I did know that
Malcolm McDowell from the clockwork orange Okay,
so as far as grandpa Fletcher first appearance
a hard day's night last appearance last day of
summer So his first appearance was this episode.
Okay. Yeah That's cool Ancient Ferb Ancient Ferb
ancient for a buck McDowell the ancient Ferb
He's ready for the old ultraviolence. Yes, we
do moments. I do think it's great seeing the
Fletcher side of the family. I thought that was
cool. And we will eventually see both sets of
grandparents together in a future episode, I
believe. So that's cool that they're setting
them up here now. A medieval tournament, all
I can think of is Robin Hood men in tights. All
right, so you never been to a Renaissance fair
no I have And I know what they are. I'm just
saying like it was either a combination of Robin
Hood men in tights and a night's tale with Heath
Ledger in 2001 okay So so here in Chicago we
have a medieval times yeah, it's just dinner
and tournament right and we have a a renaissance
fair so you can actually go and see knights jousting
and fighting on the field of battle or the field
of valor that's what it is i forget anyway but
these are fun i enjoy these yeah i've never done
one in england i'm sure it's different there
yeah i'm sure you know you wonder if like if
like a joust in england is kind of like like
a civil war enactment here where they're like
yeah man that's our history it happens it like
happened here no nowadays i don't think so maybe
back when they were happening sure but you know
i i don't think the brits want to re -enact certain
things you know it's like we're kind of we're
kind of you know old and bored and a little overweight
and we we want to go out in this field and and
shoot muskets so you know we're gonna have this
we're gonna call it we're gonna call it history
see so you brought this up so This is all your
fault that we're derailing off of the rollercoaster
of awesomeness here. So we're talking about the
Civil War reenactment and everything else. All
I can think of is a recent episode that I watched
on Hulu of Razolian Isles, which is a Boston
-based story, TNT cop show thing. But basically,
it's people reenacting the Civil War, the Union,
the Confederates, all that. one of the confederates
gets shot literally and for real oh so it's yeah
you're not supposed to use live ammunition you're
supposed to be using blanks people come on now
well not only that but like the ammo they had
the civil war ammo wasn't like you know uh like
a 45 round or anything it was a musket ball yeah
it was a musket ball or yeah and i mean one of
those will take your arm off yep Leaves a big
hole so because Charles pipping is it's essentially
a plan sir on Sir Charles as far as I can tell
it's essentially I thought it was a like a British
Jeremy Well, he is but I always thought he was
a he's supposed to be an amalgamation of You
know Charles and I except it's a kid in this
instead of an actual adult But the butler, oh
dear, I believe I've punned. That's funny. One
of the screen caps that'll be in the episode
post that I just had to screen cap is Ferb on
the left, Phineas on the right. Ferb is in the
bottom half of the armor and his head is sticking
out barely out of the crotch. And Phineas' top
half is his head and his feet are sticking out
of the stomach. And Phineas says, there's something
almost disturbing about this. When the suit of
armor is, it's before they assemble themselves.
uh... i was just hoping that phineas and have
you know beans for lunch uh... big ol' big ol'
taco this show was made in an age where you could
have taken a beano beano gas or beano you know
take a beano and there'll be no gas it's two
times in one day that i've referenced the beano
diet yeah This comes up a lot in your everyday
conversation. No, it really doesn't. Dr. Wexler.
Dr. Wexler, you're a platypus? Hey, you're the
platypus. Oh, no. I want to say I knew it was
you, but I really didn't. That's funny. It's
like, hey, I know you. You're Dr. Lloyd Wexler.
It's Perry, in a bad way. So Perry dresses and
and you okay, so this okay, this is what I wanted
to bring up about different Schmertz not recognizing
him We actually see dr. Lloyd Wexler because
they've got him tied up in alka, right? Yeah,
you know, so we see how tall the guy You mean
tell me dr. Duven Schmertz is that stupid that
doesn't realize it's a platypus in a doctor's
disguise I don't think he's ever met him though.
It's not like he has a reference He just you
know He may have seen like the picture of any
photo on the back of his book or something, but
Either he didn't sound like he knew the guy Yeah,
the coolest thing about the dr. Wexler impersonation
is you have Cardinal Richelieu Tim Curry voicing
the The narration for the story really yeah,
that was Tim Curry. I didn't notice Yeah, I feel
bad now Tim Curry is awesome Yes, yes he is What
do you got for yes, yes we do moments I like
Candice She's you know, she's the princess and
she's in the tower But then she escapes the tower
it falls into the black armor Which is made of
recycled dog food cans It just made me giggle
Well, the original suit of armor was made out
of recycled dog food cans. That's why the Hounds
of Heck were a part of the Black Knight. I don't
know if it's the same, it might be the same suit
of armor, but the reason why the dogs chased
Candice was because of the gravy truck. The gravy
truck. Billing out, yeah. You know, we don't
normally have gravy trucks here in the U .S.
That might just be a British thing. Huge trucks
full of gravy. I don't know what they're doing
with all that gravy over there in Britain. I
don't understand. Apparently they eat a lot of
gravy. They've got to put it on the shepherd's
pie. Because aren't biscuits cookies to them?
I think cookies are biscuits. Yeah. See, that's
the thing. It's like, if you can't have some
biscuits and gravy, then there's something wrong
with you. Oh, no. Yeah, you don't want gravy
on your biscuits. That would be nasty. here in
the u .s. you do yeah yeah i know you put your
gravy in your in your put gravy on your toad
in the hole you ever have a toad in the hole
i had i went to london and had toad in the hole
in london and uh you know it's it's a toad in
the hole i had a shepherd's pie too i liked it
it was it wasn't terrible lots of gravy You know
my ex -stepmother used to make that all the time.
Yeah Shepherd pie yeah, oh yeah, it's like a
kind of like a kind of like a thicker version
of a pot pie with with lots of What is it like
mashed potatoes, but they're so smashed potatoes
corn Meat of some sort, but the potatoes are
so thick that it's almost like a pot pie. Yeah,
yeah It's yeah, it's hard to describe but they
lots of gravy Yeah, it wasn't terrible. So I
remember being too salty, but maybe that's just
how it was cooked Anyway, what they come down
to is She's covered in gravy and there's these
dogs chasing her. So she looks like the black
knight in his hounds of heck You know the hounds
of heck Which I thought was funny because they
can't see how they would just call them hell.
They can't say hell, you know It's funny too
because you know nowadays it's like when I was
little Hell was a bad word and you couldn't say
it and now It's the sigma is gone. I mean even
kids are like, you know the hounds of hell, you
know, it's not but this I Want to say the demographic
for this audience is probably skewed lower too
low to say hell. Let's say Yeah, I'm gonna go
with that what I did like the Queen Elizabeth
versus the purple dragon anytime we got a purple
dragon involved that makes me giggle do you remember
a Monty Python so there's a Monty Python sketch
about the pantomime horse racing it's like two
race announcers and they're talking about this
race that goes around this racetrack and and
one of the one of the horses is it's not a real
horse it's a it's it's a horse costume and there's
two people in it uh in the front and back and
they they call it the pantomime horse and they're
like okay so it's the pantomime horse racing
versus the pantomime queen elizabeth and there's
uh there's a queen elizabeth i think made up
of two people And the pantomime horror starts
fighting the Queen Elizabeth. It was funny. It
really was. I mean, the humor is very British.
And if you don't subscribe to that type of humor,
you wouldn't get it. But this reminded me of
that. The pantomime horror series. The pantomime
Queen Elizabeth. Yeah, I was way too young. I
don't know what it was. I missed out on Monty
Python. I think I was too young at the time.
I just have never had any real interest to go
back to watch any of it. I saw the American reruns
You know, I was I was in the elementary school
and just had no interest in going to sleep so
and mining pythons on and that's a Colored my
childhood. Let's say But yeah, I was thinking
a lot of this episode is that line from doofenshmirtz
that Queen Elizabeth. She's a tough old bird.
He's a tough old bird The line I thought was
funny was yours may have laser eyes, but mine
has mine breeds That made me laugh so hard That's
just a bad design I knew When I first saw this
episode way back when when it first aired I knew
as soon as he switched with Perry I knew he was
gonna work. Yeah, I Knew that was gonna happen
Candice just raised the dragon. Yep She saves
the day saves the day and it still ends up back
in the Back in that's our shit. Yeah, she ends
up getting kicked back it well cuz I think it's
cuz of the horse Maybe I don't remember she ends
up getting kicked out of the armor and her herself
ends up in the tower and she falls down the stairs
again for like the third or fourth time and Ends
up in Charles's arms and that's how the episode
kind of ends Outside of one piece of British
phrasing, I really have nothing negative to say
about this one. I thought this one was really
well done. British phrasing. Yes, British phrasing.
Uh -huh. In the offing. Who the hell says that
when something is supposed to happen, like you're
using production, or this is going to be released,
or in the offing. What the f - verb is in the
offing? It rhymes with boffing. That makes me
giggle Did you have anything negative on this
one for no, no, we don't Oh, yeah, you know I
I like Jeremy and It bothers me that Candice
goes to London goes to England I had I had to
scribble out London here because it wasn't London.
It was England Outside of London. They did not
go to old London town, but I digress she goes
One England scribble scribble scribble England
And it just immediately falls for the first British
guy that vaguely looks like Jeremy Yeah, and
I bothers me because you know if it were my girlfriend
It's you a little vacation and came back with
with uh, you know Some venereal disease that
she picked up from some schmell and Britain I'd
be pissed off, you know, but see then see the
difference is though She's only stalking Jeremy
at this point. They're not boyfriend and girlfriend
yet. Nah, I'm pretty sure they are. No, they're
not. It's only story. No, it doesn't happen until
much, much later in the series. Like, they don't
actually become boyfriend and girlfriend until
I think... I think Summer Belongs to You is really
when they announce that they are boyfriend and
girlfriend. Well, that's like... When when they're
trying to profess their love to each other and
it's not quite working out But but I think yeah,
but I mean even at this early stage in the series
They haven't been on a date yet Not that we've
seen We have not gotten to the shea platypus
episode yet. That was kind of their first kind
of date really I think Okay, we haven't gotten
to that episode yet because that's the episode
where Phineas and Ferb open up a pair of the
platypus themed restaurant Okay, sure. So at
this point you're saying that it's perfectly
okay for Candice to spread her legs for the first
limey that will just enter her field of view.
I don't think as a almost teeny, I don't know.
The kids these days, man. Wow. Yeah. Alright.
Well, that's enough in you and do's and don'ts
folks. In you and don'ts. I'm just saying, she
kinda, you know, was a little loose in this one,
you know? I'm just saying. What would you rate
this episode? The guy had a castle. So I guess
if you're gonna cheat on your boyfriend with
anybody, it'd be the guy with the British castle,
right? I guess. I... I don't know. This is getting
weird and uncomfortable. Alright, I'm sorry.
How would you rate this episode? Tired. It's
getting late. Uh, how about a three? It was fun
and I had a giant purple dragon. Yes. I'm gonna
give it a three and a half only because of Doofenshmirtz
setting himself on fire. That's right. Mine breathes
fire. You know, we need a guest appearance by
Steve on this one. It's a talk like Megatron,
the purple dragon. I love you! Shut up, bitch!
I'm not done! Alright, so turning it to the iRobots
after this... And the candidates for what awesome
thing we will do today are... Our blueprint for
a completely food -based water park. Your schematic
for the tunnel to the center of the Earth. This
model for the Chamber of Invisibility. Your other
schematic for a microscopic zoo that rests on
the head of a pin. Gee! We sure have a lot of
blueprints, models, and schematics. Hey, Ferb.
Summer doesn't last forever, and we've got too
many plans for just the two of us. We either
need more days of summer or more of us. What's
this? The blueprint for that robot we invented?
Ferb, you're a genius! We can make Android versions
of ourselves! We can make Finidroids and Furbots!
Hey, where's Perry? Hold that elevator! Agent
P, Dr. Doofenshmirtz is up to his old tricks.
He's made 57 phone calls in the past hour. We
don't know to whom or why. No, not to Santa.
Agent P, your mission is to find out what Dr.
Doofenshmirtz is up to and stop him. See Carl,
that's why I don't like using the chimney vader.
Besides, that guy totally owes me a pony from
when I was five. Okay Ferb, the robot building
device is almost ready to be activated. Just
a couple more commands. Okay, pictures please.
Phineas. Ferb. Phineas and Ferb. Here we go.
Robot building sequence activated. Alright, finally
up today we have iRobot. Phineas and Ferb build
robot versions of themselves, Finidroids and
Furbots, to help out with their big ideas. Meanwhile,
Dr. Doofenshmirtz regrets all the messages he
has left on his girlfriend's answering machine.
No, this is the second episode where we've had
a doofenshmirtz is love life as the B story mm
-hmm We don't ever actually meet his quote -unquote
new girlfriend We still because we're watching
these on how they're they're done how they're
put together on Netflix We still have yet to
meet Charlene doofenshmirtz who we know as his
ex -wife So let me hear much later though yeah,
yeah and come to find out you know much later
apparently spoilers yeah I know but it's just
one of those things where when we get to it we're
gonna really have to discuss it but why is she
paying him alimony that's what I want to know
so I'm not sure what state they're in but we
got to find out so I can relocate there before
my wife leaves me I don't think there are any
problems in your marriage. Come on. No, I kid.
I kid. She's not going to leave me. Wait a second
here. If she started listening to this podcast,
she'd probably leave me. She's never listened
to any of the stuff we've done before. Nobody
can. No, you know, I kid. I joke. I mean, the
previous podcasts were, you know, there's stuff
on there that's worth leaving me over, but probably
not this one. This one's kind of tame. Alright,
the yes yes we do moments. Stacy gets her ears
pierced and we find out her last name is Hirano
because Candice says, oh hi Mrs. Hirano. Oh no,
I didn't know anything about Stacy getting her
ears pierced. You know, I feel bad for Stacy
because there's... You know, it's almost like
she has, like, a sea story, you know, that's
all Stacy, but we don't really see it. It's off
-camera. Yeah. Like, there's something horrible
going on with her ear piercing. Yeah. Summer
isn't long enough. Yeah, right. Sure. Sure it
isn't. No. Because the whole juxtaposition of
this episode of the reason why they created the
robots is because they have so many things they
want to do, and they believe, Phineas believes,
that summer isn't long enough. 104 days. That's
that's a lot. Yeah, and they're well and the
robots then take care of all their backlog Yeah,
backlog is just weird silly stuff like like a
tiny zoo Hovering yeah a tiny zoo on the head
of a pin. Yeah, that makes no sense Makes no
why would that even be fun? I don't know the
hovering lawn chair would be fun The hovering
lawn chair. Yeah, I could I could play with that
all day They're they're my brothers and their
robots they're robots robots Okay, and this finna
droids and furbots I had a problem with the The
naming convention here because they're calling
them androids Yeah, and they're not androids
androids are you know I don't want to say indistinguishable
from human you know because that's what the Turing
test is for but but they're supposed to be more
human like and these are kind of cobbled together
from garbage you know it's like well they're
identical there's a lot of identical garbage
but it looks it's kind of like their heads are
made out of tin cans and stuff Well, yeah, but
he says finna droids and furbots. So the way
I look at it is essentially, you know these are
C1 POs or C2 POs and our R1 D1s or you know something
like that. I mean, there's essentially Droid
is a is a word that George Lucas made up basically
Android is a word that specifically means human
-like robots. Right, the only human -like robot
that they even reference is at the very end when
Candice's picture ends up in the machine and
she says, oh my god, it's a Candroid! What else
are you gonna call Candice as an Android other
than a Candroid? I don't know how her name fits
like Finidroids and Furbots like that fits their
names, Phineas and Ferb. But fitting the droid
stereotype to Candice just doesn't really work
unless it's a Candroid. Well, you can call it
a Candroid, that's fine, but you can't refer
to a robot as an Android if it's not humanly.
No, and I don't think they are. They're referring
to them as actual robots. They're not referring
to them as androids. No, he did. He referred
to them as androids. Actually, in the beginning
of the episode, he specifically called them androids.
To which I take offense. Well, stop taking other
people's fences. Whose fence did you take? Yeah,
whose fence did you take now? You leave Tim Taylor
and Tellman Taylor and Wilson out of this. Oh
no, that's right, the fence. Uh, that's right,
that's an old reference. Candice, I'm going to
kill you. 80s music is so 2002. Uh, no. Shut
your mouth, Candice. 80s music is so not 2002.
What was that from? In this episode at the end
when because the Finidroid and Furbot song is
like 80s type new wave music, okay? Yeah, she's
out front and she says oh 80s music is so 2002
That's funny you shut your can or mouth That's
rough 57 in a row Exactly try not to leave any
messages on your way to the parking lot. Oh Man
clerk's references we could do clerk's references
all day Too bad you don't believe in love Perry
the platypus That was funny too bad you don't
believe in love at the end says when she gets
linda and they're going to go in and she wants
to show her the robot she said that she has said
this that phoenix and ferb are doing something
19 other times so far i didn't know they were
counting at this point because there's an episode
later or maybe it was in the very first, no,
it was in the very first, it was in Roller Coaster,
where she references something that we never
see. She references something earlier in the
summer. Yeah. And I'm like, so if you've been
trying to bust them before the show even started,
how is this the 19th time that she's told Mom
about, I don't know, whatever. What are we on,
10 episodes and there's roughly... There's two
cartoons per episode. Yeah, so yeah 18 19 sure.
I'll buy that I didn't know she was counting.
I didn't know she that's that's what I'm saying.
I didn't know she was counting either What else
did you like about I'm robot Santa Claus i'm
making a summer run and of course doofenshmirtz
is the one to reference christmas in july it's
the middle of july i'm making a summer run but
it's funny because uh... perry gets into the
chimney elevator and santa's there and in the
chimney elevator is the boom chicka boom chicka
elevator music Yeah, so I just thought that was
funny that they would reuse that in the elevator
as the elevator music Well, that's the whole
joke as the series goes on both when Donna's
one -hit wonder and Finneas and Frodo's one -hit
wonder end up as the elevator the elevator music
right throughout the entire show Yeah, and they
I was gonna say they already have the rights
to it because they they wrote it so Why not why
not use it? The God I want to I don't want to
call them androids the finna droids and the furbots
make a I don't understand this at all. They make
a coffee and Tea, it's a robot bean and tea leaf
store in the backyard and they Drink coffee and
it makes them crazy and unable to sleep and I
mean later on we have a we have a lemonade stand
episode where it's all about making a lemonade
stand, but Here's like the prototype to that
where they're making a coffee shop. Yeah, I I'm
not sure what that's a reference to It's like
was there was there a movie about this? I missed
it the robot bean and tea leaf Is that a play
on something that I'm missing? Yeah, it's the
whole Seattle coffee grunge kind of like the
whole thing about good coffee. It's like it's
like a play on Starbucks. I mean, robot bean
and tea leaf. That makes no sense. Anyway, no.
Yeah. The name is just the fact that they started
one is is referencing like. But that was what
they started it kind of as their own. as their
own scheme, so they've run out of things, of
schemes to do. Well, Phineas says that they ran
out of They finished all the stuff Phineas and
Ferb actually gave them to do. Right. All the
schemes that they gave them, all the inventions
they gave them to get it done, they had already
done that. So they went in and started looking
at other schematics and blueprints and outlines
and they just started doing stuff on their own.
So the Phineadroid turns to the Furbot and Imbachi,
the binary language of loaders, says, I know
what we're going to do today. And they make a
coffee shop. I guess so. Makes no sense. The
interesting thing here for me about this episode
is Santa Claus. That's what I said. Well, originally,
if you go to Christmas, well, if you go to Christmas
Vacation, which we will be getting to eventually
down the road here. They sign. If you go to Christmas
Vacation. Uh huh. Holiday Road. Santa Claus,
no, not that. No Stop it. This is the second
time you've tried to do that shit. I'll get off
So Phineas and Ferb's Christmas vacation not
Chevy Chase's Christmas vacation Santa Claus
in that I believe is voiced by none other than
Lex Luthor himself Clancy Brown Clancy really?
Yep All right, sure. I'll buy that. I didn't
recognize Clancy Brown's voice, but sure, why
not? Okay, yeah, in Christmas Vacation, in Phineas
and Firm's Christmas Vacation, it's Clancy Brown.
Yeah. Here, in this episode, Dan Pavenmeyer does
the voice. Oh, I was gonna say Ed Esner, but
no. No. You leave granny goodness out of this.
Kind of start waiting to the credits to see who
does the guest races here kids See that's why
I always look at the at the Wikipedia before
we do this and stuff. I'm not looking at the
Wikipedia Come on. It's the Phineas. Oh, it's
not regular Wikipedia It's Phineas and Ferb specific
with all of this that you've been on the Phineas
and Ferb wiki. I don't need your damn wiki You
know who I am. I'm the guy that's gonna burn
your house down with the wiki So yeah, so since
we're talking about Santa Claus, yes. Santa saves
Perry. Santa saves Perry. Santa saves everybody.
So in this one episode, he is voiced by Dan Pavanmire.
In the other two episodes, in the other episodes
finished for Christmas vacation, he is voiced
by Clancy Brown. Clancy Brown. Clancy Brown has
an awesome voice. Does yeah as much as I love
Dan Pavan Meyer I prefer Clancy Brown Santa over
Dan Pavan Meyer Santa You know, I think it's
up to you to put two side by side so we can hear
them in compare and contrast But you might be
right I'll have to do that in my off time. Yeah
This podcast is taking over my life Do we have
anything else you liked about this one? We want
to point out before we get to the no no, we don't
moments I like that Santa steals the the magnet
there steal Yeah, he he swoops in and collects
the magnet that is about to squish Perry Yeah,
and then as he makes his summer run the magnet
then scoops up all of the Finney droids and the
furbots Yep, and thus I guess somehow tying the
two stories together. Well, he ties them together.
Well, in the sense that Santa was there to kind
of tie them. Santa's kind of like the glue that
holds these two together. Well, yeah, because
he's the one that set it all up, because when
he goes to the Chimney Vader, and Perry rides
with him down, and Major Monogram says, Doofenshmirtz
has been making hundreds and hundreds of phone
calls and... And Perry points to the elevator,
no, not to Santa. That's what Major Monograms
says. So Santa's kind of a running gag throughout
this whole thing. So it does make sense to me
that Santa would be the one to kind of wrap up
the A story, the B story, and the fish tail and
all that stuff. Right, I liked it. And I also
like Candice in the panic room. Oh, you give
me that, yeah. Yeah, that's true. She's like,
the kandroid's panicking too. That was what was
funny. She's panicking, the kandroid's panicking.
She steals her teddy bear. Yeah, Mr. Miggins,
I believe. Mr. Miggins. The funny thing is that
when we get to second dimension... They reference
the was it second dimension. I don't know. I
can't remember off Tom It was either second dimension
or it was another episode where they did They
mentioned something about the mother being in
it. Oh, yeah, it was second to mention them Linda
in the second dimension she was in a in a sensory
deprivation tank in the basement and I'm trying
to think of like how big is the Flynn Fletcher
basement under their house like it's got a panic
room it's got a sensory deprivation tank it's
a room for a batmobile you go into the basement
and then there's a false bottom where it goes
into another room below that the panic room with
it with the sensory deprivation tank uh... so
no no we don't want the only once again The doof
plan is just like it's not even a plan to take
over the tri -state area. This is arguably more
important Yeah, yeah, you know if you if you
go on a bender and you call your girlfriend 57
times in a row and she still hasn't picked up
What are you gonna do? You know, you got to go
to her house and destroy her electronic equipment.
I Guess that's how it works, man All righty then
let's hope you never have to go through this
There was just an episode of Henry danger where
he has to destroy a phone message And so he has
to run back and forth across town trying to find
the phone And then he gets the phone finds out
it's the wrong phone and then he goes back and
he deletes everything off the phone Then it turns
out. Oh, no way. It's on the cloud You could
just be backed up from the cloud It was his whole
rigmarole. I like Henry Danger, too. So I Can't
too much Disney. Yeah too much Disney was anything
anything negative for you on this one? You know,
I'm not gonna say negative I I Wasn't a fan of
the design for the Finneas and furbots I I thought
it was just kind of weird that they would have
They would I thought it was kind of it didn't
occur to them until after the fact that they
weren't having any fun Because they weren't doing
the building themselves So the idea is we'll
have someone else. We're gonna outsource all
of our fun to other people and then they're like
oh well that's kind of cool i'm glad they did
that and well that's kind of neat too that was
innovative and wow why didn't we build these
ourselves yep that's just crazy of them yeah
well you know they they realized they're folly
in the end um let's see the only i'm trying to
think this is other negative oh Uh, what would
you rate this one? Uh, I'd probably give it a
three. It's in the middle there. Yeah. I'm gonna
give it a four. The, uh, the song was catchy.
Yeah. Droid's Inferbot song, that was catchy.
Um, and I like the sympathy for the one that
can't fall asleep. That was hilarious. Can't
fall asleep. Too much coffee. How do the robots
even drink coffee? How does that happen? Alright
folks, that's gonna do it for us. We're gonna
come back after this with the closing of the
show and some other stuff and whatever else.
We'll be back in a moment. Dr. Wexler, you're
a platypus! Bury the platypus! I want to say
that I knew it was you all along, but I can't
because I didn't. So now I guess I'm supposed
to surrender, which I might do if we weren't
standing in the middle of an evil weapons expo!
I am shocked and dismayed. Well now you can't
be both. You be shocked, I'll be dismayed. Coming

No, no I'm not. Aren't you a little old to be

good to see the nation's senior citizens taking
an interest in cartooning. Yes, yes it is. Yes
it is. There's not really any more, that's about
it.
