About this Episode

The hosts dive into two episodes from Phineas and Ferb Season 3. First, a clip show celebrating Phineas's birthday with themed montages of the gang's greatest hits, wrapped around a funhouse adventure. Then, Candace discovers a super-computer that can answer anything, leading her to ask how she can finally bust her brothers—while Doofenshmirtz hunts for a lost key. The hosts discuss clip-show structure, nostalgic editing choices, Cory Burton's voice work, and the unpredictability of Doofenshmirtz's schemes.

Hello, Mitch! This is Jesse from Rock Sugar,

and you're listening to the GeekCats Radio Network.

Keep it right here. I don't know, what am I gonna

throw away my best stuff in a clip shell? Forget

it. Okay, now let me do the talking. Agent P,

there's, uh, something we've been meaning to

discuss with you for a while, and, well, you

see Perry, some job performance issues have come

up. Now, don't get me wrong, you're doing fine

work. It's just that your entrances have been

getting a little... Hello and welcome to episode

64 of Pauka, brought to you by the GeekCast Radio

Network. I am of course TF2 and Mike. Joining

me as always is Pecan Court Michael. Hey, how's

it going? It's going. Today is the 64th day of

summer and this means that it is the day that

we get back to our Phineas and Ferb review podcast

here on the GCRN, the podcast organization without

a cool acronym. And today we have a plethora

of episodes. It is actually two full episodes,

but it equals out to four total cartoons, even

though one of them is really one whole car -

I don't understand. It's part one and part two.

Yeah, I don't get it. Whatever. It's the way

they did it. It's whatever. So first up, we have

Phineas's birthday clip -o -rama. Another fantastic

year older and this is gonna be the best birthday

ever so what are we gonna do verb verb huh a

follow these clues to show you the way Cool.

It's like a birthday adventure, but hey, where's

verb? I can't believe it. It's Phineas's birthday.

I still It's Phineas' birthday, and for the special

occasion, Ferb puts together a clip show of the

gang's favorite moments. Meanwhile, Agent P has

to stop Dr. Ufan Schmertz from using his non

-Inator -Inator to preempt his brother's biography

from appearing on television. sixty -two sixty

-three other episodes and just grab random audio

from us and just Have it be that yeah, just like

we'll stop the recording show out of our show

exactly We'll stop the recording here, and we'll

put all the funny outtakes. Oh outtakes You're

just this use of mute fail Anyway, thanks for

that right in the middle and people will assume.

It's Maurice LaMarche It's a great Whackerati.

It was Moe, he totally did that. That's right.

It was a great Whackerati. I actually found two

versions of that. The original one that, and

they're both in Animaniacs, but one of them is

when he's burping jingle bells. And I'm like,

ooh, I could post this for the holidays. Yay.

So appropriate. That's right. Ain't nothing like

a Maurice LaMarche burp in your ear. He's the

best. He's the master. Alright, the clip -o -rama.

I like the way it's structured. I think it's

cool. I think it's fun. I've seen this episode

approximately five times since it aired. So between

the time it aired and right now, I've seen it

a total of five times. Okay. Because, and I'll

probably have to see it. a sixth time because

as of this recording I have not recorded any

of the audio that is going to be in this episode

as far as like the clips from the episodes from

the cartoon show like that so I'll have to watch

it a sixth time but the only thing that really

gets me is the counting if I had a nickel for

every time that's like that's the only that's

really my only other than the fact that it's

a clip show and I'm not really you know they

wasted a whole episode on a clip show I get it

it's his birthday but whatever. I think it's

cool and I think it's really great because I

think it's cool that they have the kids working

on something for Phineas. I think that's cool

because he lets them do all the stuff. He lets,

you know, he gives them these opportunities to

do all of this and they don't really get a chance

to give back to him. So I think that part of

it's cool, but just the fact that just in general

that it's a clip show, I think... When I first

watched this when we first said we were gonna

do this podcast the first thing I Grabbed was

Isabella Isabella's line. I don't want to say

I grabbed Isabella. Oh my god. No, I did not

Kind of show people talk about it in you and

don't When I grabbed the line of Isabella saying

ah the magic of digital editing I've loved using

that in podcasts at times. It's just a really

cool, fun line. What did you think of the overall

structure for the plot here? As a preface, right?

I'm not a fan of clip shows. You know, it's like,

oh, it's a show that shows highlights from different

episodes throughout the season. And it's a trope

that a lot of the series have. I'm not a fan

of it. I'm like why you you don't need to go

back and show us what happened this season because

I watched the season Even sometimes even just

flashbacks from previous shows bothering me because

it's like yes, I saw that already. Thank you

It feels like lazy writing to me But this one

I liked and I'll tell you why The clips weren't

just like a highlight of oh, here's our greatest

hits, you know, the clips were grouped together

They were like short attention span theater where

they were very short very very in your face But

they were wrapped around a theme different themes.

Yeah, so, you know, like the first one was just

quick shots of Vincent Martel is best lines,

you know that that continuously up deep upbeat

Phineas voice just chirping along for 20 seconds

or so I mean, very fast, quick takes, boom, boom,

boom, boom, boom. And I thought, well, this is

cool. I kind of like this. But then they hit

all the tropes. So you've got, oh, hey, where's

Perry? Or you have Perry being H &P, rather,

being trapped, or H &P breaking loose. And Ashley

Tisdale screaming, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom. They

don't they don't show just all here's here's

a scene and another scene another scene they

They frame them together around common themes

that are interesting and fun to watch and by

the time you end it it's You know you get to

the end of the episode and it's just you're feeling

full on nostalgia Yeah, I bet that's the first

time anybody's ever said that by the way verb

left this clue for you Thanks, I bet you guys

have heard a lot of strange sentences over the

course of the summer boy. I'll say Can you think

of any examples? Nope, not offhand. See ya. Happy

birthday! Wait a minute. I just remembered some.

Nothing says mother's love like a giant robotic

platypus butt. Why am I wearing a turtle on my

head? I wanna float around. Like men. Am I sweating

milk? Gotta go, Stacy. Good luck with that llama

legislation. Run for your lives! It's no beginning!

Stickiness is the most underrated of all the

- I knew I should have gotten a down payment

on the elephant. It looks a little like a rhesus

monkey wearing a powdered wig. Oh, no, you did

not just tell me to hinch. What, you think we

should have more Bulgarian folk -related elements?

I'll be in the dairy section if you want to come

yell at some cheese. Dad, you might want to wipe

the queen off your face. I too feel a certain

element of kebabism. Definitely the giant floating

baby head. I am to metaphor cheese as metaphor

cheese is to transitive verb crackers. I just

discovered why cows and frogs don't tape. Lawn

gnome beach party of taffeta. Make a note of

that. I'm calling mom. And I am not using the

banana this time. Couldn't see any of that, though,

could you? Not a bit. It's a clip show thing.

I hope you had fun on this scavenger hunt. Now

head back to the place where we plan all our

stunts. And that's a happy feeling for me. I

mean, as a fan of things from the 80s, I love

nostalgia. Yeah, and and this isn't like from

the 80s per se but it's a lot of scenes from

episodes that we covered three years ago Yeah,

yeah, you know three years ago. So I mean for

that's pretty nostalgic for us Exactly, especially,

you know in the current year of 2020 where three

years ago feels like it's 83 and you're 10 years

old and I'm only 10 years old Exactly. It's 2020

has been like not 12 months long, but 12 years

long. And I think that that happy, full feeling

of nostalgia is something that is really welcome

right now. Yeah, absolutely. And I think, yeah,

I agree with what you're saying about how it's

structured. And I'm not really generally a fan

of clip shows either. I don't necessarily think

it's lazy writing, at least specifically to Phineas

and Ferb, because Like you said, they made it

make sense. They made it make out to a point

of where can, you know, the left handed flange,

whatever for Danville sewer, whatever, whatever,

you know, the gift that she ended up giving him

kind of thing. Like, that's cool. I think all

that. And, you know, I'm so glad. I don't know

how many other Phineas and Ferb episodes here

in season three or upcoming in season four when

we get to it. I don't know how many other ones

do cirques or circuses or clowns or whatever,

but I'm not a fan of circuses or clowns or whatever

and I think it's absolutely hilarious. Hello?

Did somebody order a circus? Anybody? I knew

I should have gotten a down payment on the elephants.

You know, it's the funny part is after seeing

all of these, you know clip montages at the end

It's like oh this part isn't a clip and it's

it's kind of dumb. I wish they had another clip

montage Yeah, I I would have been happier with

like oh Show me all the instances of Isabella

saying what you doing You know because they have

all the instances of Maybe not all you know quote

-unquote all but you've got Perry's best HQ entrances

yeah, and it's like I didn't realize I needed

that in my life But I I totally did and I have

it now. It's I got to watch it. It was awesome

clips of Perry getting trapped. And I'm like,

here's all these clips of Perry getting trapped.

And I'm thinking to myself, you know, what we

need is we need a whole montage of Perry escaping

and punching two from the nose and bingo. There

you go. It popped up and I took a few, you know,

it can't didn't pop up until later. Yeah. But

I was like, oh, well, this is awesome. That's

exactly what I wanted. And now all we need now

is a Curse You Perry the Platypus clip montage,

right? Which we didn't get. That was something

else we could have gotten instead of I didn't,

you know, pay insurance on the elephants or something.

Yeah, exactly. Or the Belgeet's weird stuff.

I'm not sure if we needed Belgeet's weird stuff,

but you know, we got that instead of Curse You

Perry the Platypus clips. Yeah. Yeah. I don't

know. I love how they, again, break the fourth

wall with, like, in the scene where he goes to

Jeremy and he comes back and he's like, oh yeah,

I remember a few and we see all these clips.

And it flashes back to him and Jeremy, he's like,

you didn't see any of that, did you? He goes,

nope, didn't see a thing. He's like, yeah, it's

a clip show thing. It's a clip show thing. I'm

just making a clip show, it's all in my head.

Oh, yeah, but no a lot of them I liked Candice

trying to get her mom's attention You know trying

to drag mom in to see see what the boys have

done so she can bust them and it never works

out Yeah, and I I just really liked it. It was

um It was nice to go back and see you know all

of Phineas and Ferb's greatest stunts You know

one after another really quick, you know quick

flashes boom boom boom boom Just I Don't know

I really liked it. I liked it like five out of

five liked it really uh -huh, and I didn't expect

to like it because You know again, I don't like

clip shows. I saw it's a clip show. I don't like

birthday clips I don't care. I don't want I don't

want to watch it But it was awesome, and I don't

know if it didn't they included every thing that

happened like Um, aren't you a little young?

Aren't you a little young to, blah blah blah,

I've had a nickel for every time, you know? But

they, um... Aren't you a little young to be a

rollercoaster engineer? Aren't you a little young

to be a landscape contractor? Aren't you a bit

young to be toy designers? Aren't you a little

young to be pop stars? Aren't you a little young

to be detective? Aren't you boys a little young

to man a fiction fiction? Aren't you a little

young to be working in a museum? Aren't you a

little young to order all this? Yes, yes he is.

Sorry, Phineas. He's new. Aren't you kids a little

young to be discovering Atlantis? Aren't you

a little young to be fans of Love Handle? Aren't

you a little young to know about all these old

detective jokes? Aren't you boys a little young

to be restoring a national monument? Yes. Yes,

we are. You know, that was the question. Is it

all of them? I'm not gonna go back in every episode

in the wiki and look to see if there's - Obviously,

yeah, no. Yeah, if there was a little young line

they missed, but it didn't feel like they had

all of them. And I felt like maybe it would have

been nicer if they had, especially since they

commandeered a whole episode for this, you know,

the whole 22 minutes. It would have been nice

if they had included all of them. Yeah. But I

don't know. And I'm like, so I'm not going to

go back and look, but I hope they did. I just

don't think they did. Yeah. So you are giving

this a five. Yeah, I liked it. Yeah, I did too.

There are certain things that. Like I said some

things that kind of great on me like Candice's

mom mom mom mom mom over and over again and that

wasn't until that wasn't until the end. That's

true. But it was a nice ending. I liked it. I'm

still going to give it a four. Mom, the boys

are modulating my voice. It was a good ending.

That was the icing on the cake. Yeah. Auto -tuning,

that's what it was. The players were auto -tuning

my voice because the end, it was not only Candice

saying, mom, mom, mom, but it was Candice saying

mom to the tune of the theme song. That's right.

Yeah. It was awesome. Yeah, that was cool. I

did like it. All right. I'll bump it up to a

four and a half then. Oh, very generous of you.

Well, because it still doesn't take away the

fact that if I had a nickel, like, really, a

nickel? I mean, haven't you learned the hard

way enough that, you know... That's the saying,

though. If I had a nickel... Yeah, well, how

about I'd buy that for a dollar, or if I had

a dollar, or used something other than nickel,

because every time they said, if I had a nickel,

I'm like, okay, here's your nickel back. I'm

done. I've had it with all this Nickelback hating,

right? You think that makes you cool with the

cool kids in school, Fred? No, it just makes

me right. It doesn't. They're overproduced, formulaic,

ear garbage. Oh, really? You know who might disagree

with that? Facts. 50 million albums worldwide.

11th best -selling musical act of all time. Billboard's

most successful rock group of the last decade.

Six Grammy nominations, 12 Juno Awards. Those

count. Six Billboard Music Awards, two American

Music Awards, one People's Choice Award, Canadian,

and a partridge in a... pear tree sorry I thought

we were just having fun I didn't realize it was

you know you were um you gotta say you were nicer

as a kid tired of living like a mind man sick

aside of a sense of feeling this is how you remind

me You know, how you remind me is, here's your

Nickelback and, you know, whatever else. And,

you know, I don't think Nickelback's gonna come

after me if I put like a half a second of how

you remind me in this podcast, but you know.

You never know. I mean, honestly, I don't, I

think that's one of the reasons why you don't

see more, I'd buy that for a dollar, you know,

because Robocop would come get you. Oh, please.

It's a line. It's not like... You say Robocop

three times in the mirror in the dark, and Paul

Verhoeven will come through and skin you. For

copyright infringement. Okay, that's like saying,

you know... You know, turn yourself around three

times, click your heels and say Unicron, and

all of a sudden Planet Earth is gone. Wow, that's

rather dark. Okay, sure. No, the dark part of

it is actually Unicron is the center of Earth,

and the entire planet is evil. Ugh, I guess that

depends on what continuity you're into, but sure.

I'm not gonna bash on the... That's not even

Unicron Chillatree. What is that? It's Prime.

It's Prime, yeah. Sure, yeah, okay. Or the movies.

I guess they did that in the movies, too. It's

like, oh, by the way, there's a... a giant transforming

space planet inside your planet, but we're not

going to talk about that anymore. Like, all right.

Well, goodbye, Bay. Thanks for the nice goodbye,

Michael Bay. Hello, Travis Knight. Exactly. Travis

is like, I think I'm just going to crack the

planet open and have Unicron come out. It's like,

well, we die. Yeah. But you guys didn't want

people, humans in the movies anymore anyway.

Right. So. You know primus. Oh, we just want

the movie set on Cybertron for good. Oh, yeah

If the if the planet split open, then you know

transformers would just kind of float away Just

get off their nose. I'll find it floating transformer

heads exactly We're all we're all going to Nebulon

now because this planet split in half. That's

right It's basically just a big space egg nebulos

rules Alright, we're gonna take a quick break

and then we're gonna come back and we're gonna

ask a bunch of foolish questions after this.

Saturday Morning Rewind was voted best podcast

ever by its host Tim Nydale. So it's gotta be

good. Up next we have... ask a foolish question,

and when Candice discovers that Phineas and Ferb

have invented a computer that can answer anything,

she asks it how she can finally bust her brothers,

once and for all. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz

loses the key to his latest invention, the All

-Purpose -inator, and Agent P must find it before

he does. Okay, first of all first things first

since we were talking about all that transformer

stuff that I did not edit out because it's good

content Shockwave is the computer Cory Burton

is the voice of the all -knowing computer. Oh,

you're kidding. Nope. I Didn't know that actually

I did not read the wiki. So I didn't read the

wiki either. I listened to his voice I know like

that's friggin brainiac right there That's very

cool Yes, yes it is. What did you like about

this one? Oh man, what did I like about this

one? Wow, I didn't like this one. Really? Yeah,

I'm gonna go out there and say it. You know,

it's funny that they built a computer with a

big face, you know, especially a computer with

a big face, it sounds like Corey Burton, but

I didn't like the song. The song was just bad.

The song was like, I'm singing about what we're

doing and we're building the computer. Bad song,

just not catchy, kind of boring. It wasn't clever.

I didn't, I mean, I'm going to catch a lot of

flack for that most likely, but I didn't like

the song. And a lot of times, you know, some

of these episodes are just like wacky story wrapped

around the song. And the song is meant to carry

it, and it falls flat here. I didn't like the

Doofenshmirtz plot. He's got a metal unearthinator.

Yeah, that was a little silly. Yeah. I mean,

you're using this device that can tear apart

the Earth's crust, you know? And he uses it to

find the key to power another innator that really

doesn't do anything. I don't know. It certainly

didn't seem evil, aside from the fact that he

was tearing up the ground. None of that really

worked out for him. I don't know what we're going

for here. Yeah, the explosions, I'm like, that's

enough of that. Stuff was funny because it's

like I'm not sure what you're doing or why you're

doing it, but it's all exploding it's all blowing

up and You know the computer flying through the

air. He's like I knew this was going to happen

He explodes which is it's funny, but Yeah, I

don't I just didn't I didn't get much out of

it You know, I think the funniest thing that

happened was something that popped up in my head

and it wasn't even in the episode. What was that?

You know, Perry escapes, right, of course, and

he has to fight Dufrin Schmertz. So he puts on

a gladiator helmet, you know, and he's got a

mace and he's like, oh, well, you think you can

you think you're the only one, you know, can

do that. Dufrin Schmertz eventually after some

mishaps, he pulls out a helmet and a sword. Perry,

Perry the Gladiator. The line from Airplane popped

up in my head. You like Gladiator movies, Perry?

It's totally inappropriate. It's a totally inappropriate

line, but it made me laugh. When I saw Perry

dressed up as a Gladiator, it made me laugh.

I laughed for reasons completely aside. from

the episode. Right. Yeah. I mean, that made me

giggle. I think what I like about it besides

the fact that it's Cory Burton as the computer

voice is that Katus really is trying to have

mom see what she's doing, you know, or what the

boys are doing. What the boys are doing. You

know, I like, and she's asking this super computer,

this super genius computer. Right. And then he

scans the whole area. Well, he knows. He can

predict the future based upon the surroundings.

Right, I understand that. But he has to scan

the whole area. We just need to perform an initial

scan of the tri -state area so it has enough

data to work with. Starting tri -state area.

Between that and the random laser drills, this

is like the second -best midday scrapyard raid

ever. Hold still, end. Hello, Hospital Workers

Union. Get out of my mind! Gathering data from

all objects and inhabitants. Computing logical

outcome of all events. Done. And the best part

was Norm in the closet, get out of my head. Yeah.

Poor Norm. Poor Norm. I'm glad that Norm's voice

actor, you know, kept a little residual side

of that episode. Yeah. One line though. Yeah,

I like it I was gonna say Ashley Tisdale, but

Candice says if only there was some way to guarantee

that mom sees what the boys have done and She

builds a mechanical mirror. Yep That's yeah.

All right, but she I don't know. It's like oh

Mom sees what the boys have done, but she she

sees you know what the computer planned for her

not the computer itself. Right. So technically

it came true, I suppose. Yeah, technically. Yeah.

So what would you rate Ask a Foolish question?

I don't want to give it a one, but I'd give it

a two out of five because there's very little

meat on this bone. Right. Here here's here's

a problem. There's no mention of 42 Like anywhere,

you know, if you have a supercomputer, you know

They can predict the future and answer every

question You have to you have to include the

ultimate question of life the universe and everything

Even if it takes 7 .5 million years to compute

hmm You'd think the answer would be 69 That's

totally Bill and Ted 69 do Talk about a sex tape.

Yeah, you go read the checkers guide to the galaxy

by Doug Adams I Command it or watch the movie

the movies in the good book, but you know things

like you know 42 deep thought Always have your

towel or always know where your towel is you

know things like that that the as a geek culture

Specialist you should know Yeah You know I'd

rather you know that shark looks fake or you

know Why do we have to cut these things so damn

close or yeah? Till all are one or knowing is

half the battle and the other half is red laser

blue laser 25 % or a 50 % knowing there you go.

Yeah, 25 % laser Yeah, don't if you don't want

to read the book you see the movie. It's a good

movie I'll check out the audiobook maybe at some

point. If there is an audiobook of it, I don't

know. I'll look that up later. Of course, now

that I'm saying audiobooks on a podcast that

will be recorded and edited and published in

a couple of weeks as of this recording, I'm sure

Audible ads will pop up for me. Audible is going

to show up in your Facebook feed just because

you mentioned the audiobook. That's right. Well,

Audible is the only service I would go through

for audiobooks, but anyway. For me, I'm going

to give it a three and a half. I really enjoyed

it. I thought it was great, especially with how

defeated mom was because she had a really bad

salon. Like, oh god, she took money back. Because

that blonde just does not work. She looks so

pissed. Yeah, she was. She was like, Candice,

I can't deal with your shit right now. That's

exactly what she said. She didn't say that, but...

Well, I didn't see it in her eyes. Yeah, the

look on her face is like... That's what she meant.

Yeah, the look on her face is like, Mom is a

combination of herself and Ultra Magnus. I can't

deal with this shit right now. You can't deal

with this right now. But I still enjoyed it,

especially with Cory Burton as the computer voice.

That was hilarious, and Norm reacting the way

he did. I thought that was cool. Just a little,

little moments, but... Do spot overall. Yeah.

You're better than this could do better than

that. Yeah. Honestly, if you have a machine that

can tear apart the earth's crust, let's let's

get evil. You know, let's do something evil.

I think we're going to come to the conclusion

at the end of this entire television series,

maybe not the the Candice movie or whatever other

things we end up doing with do, but like he's

really not that evil. We've said this before

we've come to this conclusion already and I think

by the end of what like season four he's he's

an operative of My little Murphy, that's my little

Murphy, that's right. Yeah Swampy didn't have

enough voiceover. So they put him in there Yeah

Swampy is - Swampy is Major Monogram. You mean

Dan Pavanmire. Oh, that's who I meant, yeah.

Exactly. I just like saying Swampy. There you

go. Alright, up next and finally tonight we have...

Misperceived Monotreme. Today is a very special

day. Your 100th battle with Dr. Doofusmerz. We've

planted hundreds of hidden cameras in evil incorporated

so that we here at headquarters can watch the

historic event and also enjoy some cheap laughs

We've got hours of that hours now do a sprout

HMP Perry misses his 100th battle against Dr.

Doofenshmirtz when Candice takes him to the charity

pet wash with her. Perry's absence goes unnoticed

when the zookeeper's typical platypus at Danville

Zoo stops Dr. Doofenshmirtz's plan to zap his

brother with his least likelyinator. Meanwhile,

the boys build a fun house, Phineas and Ferb

style. Okay, the least likelyinator might be

the bestinator of season three. Because it actually

works. Well, no, I'm saying so far to this point,

out of everything he's done between right now

and all the other episodes we've covered right

now, or in the last whatevers, at this point,

the least likelyinator is probably the smartest

thing he's done. Because it's not necessarily

evil, but it's kind of interesting to see what

the least likely thing people would do. Yeah,

that's true. I mean I was a little confused there

because the next episode could have the unicorn

and rainbows inator and That would have topped

this and then you know, I thought maybe you're

giving something away. No, no, no No, not at

all And I'm pretty sure there is no unicorn inator

rain, at least not in the next episode. Unicorn

and rainbow inator. Whatever. I've coined that.

That's mine. You can't take that one. Okay, Mr.

Otto Botley. What did you like about misperceived

monotreme? Oh, a few things. I really like the

word meat brick. Meat brick is my new favorite

word. I think she she could have rattled that

off a few more times and that would have made

this episode a little better Would have given

an additional star if meat brick would have been

uttered a few more times Like the sandwiches

I could see the smell That was hilarious That

was that sardines and peanut butter and something

awful Ah I I don't I don't want to say I liked

the fake agent P Right Because I mean, you know,

you know I have this platypus run -of -the -mill

platypus that escapes from the zoo and ends up

in the in the secret lair and and then he somehow

ends up battling two finch marks and He didn't

do much But he doesn't do much. Yeah, he said

they don't do much but but he did all he did

was chase sandwiches Exactly, so he's not doing

much but he's not chasing food. That was his

one thing he did Yeah, and basically anywhere

where there was a salient to fit smart says like

this sandwich platter, you know, it wasn't a

It was a sandwich. It was a sandwich display

case. It was like a display case. Yeah, it's

just shrews sandwiches everywhere and in strategic

places right so that all this fake parry has

to do is wander from sandwich to sandwich and

defeat doofenshmirtz which i i thought was um

man i don't want to i don't want to call it like

z writing because i mean it's it's clever but

it i don't know i i don't think i liked it as

much as i would have if it would have been parry

you know actually taking part in his 100th battle

with doofenshmirtz Which apparently is important

to everybody else, right? Yeah, it's important

everybody else except for Perry Well, he got

kidnapped He just He wasn't he wasn't But he

well, you know, yeah somebody took him against

his will I consider like kidnapping but you know,

he didn't want to take a bath. That's not That's

not what he wanted to do Most of the time pets

don't want to take baths. We still have to make

them do it Alright, but you have like seven cats

and four dogs. You should know this None of them

are semi -aquatic happier to get in the water

I'm really surprised that the the whole Wash

bin, you know, the bucket didn't just open up

in the bottom and he went down right down in

Like a drain that ended up in HQ. Yeah, true.

That would have been funny That would have been

clever, I guess. But yeah, I don't know. It was

interesting. It was different than usual. And

maybe that's why I didn't like about it. You

and your, it has to stick to the formula thing.

Get over it. You know, they split from the formula

in the first episode and I thought it was brilliant.

But now that they're back to it, you know, I

kind of want to... What did you think of the

fun house in the house? I thought that was hilarious.

Making the house fun by adding a fun house. Exactly.

I think my favorite moment was the how's the

basement spin Ferb? And we see Ferb spin in the

basement. I thought that was hilarious. Or the

basement spin around for him. I was wondering

if the whole house was spinning because that

would scare the neighbors. Probably like what

the hell's going on over there, man? Yeah, I.

I. Didn't like the song. I mean, it wasn't as

bad as the as the last song. Yeah, you know,

the the computer song super computer song wasn't.

Barely a song. I really didn't like that one.

This one is it's not that bad, but it was not

Memorable. It wasn't my favorite fun house. Yeah,

I mean I like the different rooms. I like what

they did with it I just didn't you know, it just

wasn't something that's gonna stick with me.

It's not gonna at the end of the season It's

not gonna be one of my favorites I kind of like

it, I kind of dug it, I thought it was cool.

It obviously matched what they were doing, especially,

no, what I liked about it was not necessarily

the, I don't know, I gotta go back and listen

to it. But what I love about it is at the end,

it basically, you know, you flip the record over

backwards and inside out, because Candice is

going through cleaning everything up, and it's

all this record scratching, and she's going back,

so the song is playing backwards. Oh, yeah. That

was cool. I mean, yeah. They played the song

backwards. I thought that was cool. I forgot

about that. But as I was watching it, I was like,

that's neat. Yeah, I like that. So, where's this

funhouse? Candice cleaned the whole thing up

before you could see it. You cleaned the whole

thing up before I could see it? Yes. Well, that

seems unlikely. Yes. Yes, it does. Candice, she's

the least likely to unfund the funhouse. That's

right. Because most of the time Candice doesn't

know how to have fun. She just wants to bust

her brothers. Exactly. Exactly. she's that so

that means that would be something she would

be likely to do to unfund the funhouse because

she doesn't like fun she's anti -fun unless jeremy's

around if jeremy's around she'll tolerate the

fun because jeremy loves fun okay so she's if

she's anti -fun and she just wants to bust her

brothers maybe the fact that Her cleaning it

up so it isn't there is the least likely thing,

so she can't bust her brother's. Yeah, at that

point she can't bust her brother's because everything's

clean. Because everything's cleaned up. Yeah,

see? The logic works. Kansas cleaned the whole

thing up before you could see it. And mom's like,

you cleaned the whole thing up before I could

see it? And she's like... Yes. That's a credit

to Ashley Tisdale because you could just feel

the weight, the gravitas there. Oh, yeah, absolutely.

She's like, yes, I understand. I understand this

is unlikely. And mom's like, that seems unlikely.

Yeah. Ferb says yes. Yes, it does. I mean, that

last line, I thought that was hilarious. Yeah,

it was. What would you rate this one? Well, I'm

gonna give it a two and like yeah Five what?

Yeah figure cuz it's super fun. I Didn't like

it there sir. I did not walk it You know now

that you reminded me that they played the the

funhouse song backwards after she was cleaning

everything And that might give it an extra point

five. So maybe two point five You know, congratulations

to Perry on his 100th battle with Dr. Doof and

Smertz that he didn't actually participate in.

But yeah, two and a half, maybe. Two. What I

want to know is how did Doof not notice Alka

putting all those cameras in his building? Major

Monogram says we put all kinds of cameras around

his building so we could watch this 100th battle.

I'm pretty sure he would have had Carl doing

that, and Carl is not the most undercover person

in the world. Wow, it's just because they're

not paying him doesn't mean he's not capable.

Do we secretly believe that it was Carl's fault

that the basement cup flooded? That the player

got flood - No, no, no, yeah, the HQ got flood

- No, no, no, no, that's, you know, that's, uh,

Brainy - That Carl's fault? Yeah, that's Brainy

the brain -dead bison who, you know, backed up

the toilet or something, or, you know, went through

wolf or something. I thought it was water, not

sewage. I mean, that's different. I wouldn't

be swimming in that. Phineas has to use his left

-handed flange tube. That's right, especially

made for the sewer department. Of Danville, yes,

that's right. Clearly this is stolen, but I love

it. Give me a hug. All right, we're going to

take a final break and come back to close the

show after this. Today was a great day. The best
