Theme Song Contest

GeekCast Radio Network is proud to announce our first ever, “Theme Song Contest!”

Rules:  The rules for this contest are pretty simple.  Season One of, The Tele-Cast consists of 35 episodes. Within those episodes we will be covering 33 classic kids’ shows from the 80s and 90s plus one additional show that will be picked by the listeners.  Obviously, all of these shows had theme songs which sometimes can be the most memorable part of a show.  This contest will test that memory.  We have taken thirty-two of those classic theme songs and smashed them into a 3-minute clip!

Your job is to identify the order in which those thirty-two shows appear in the 3-minute clip.  Also, you must be able to identify which of the thirty-three shows was left out of the clip!  Some of the shows should be fairly easy for you to identify while others may be a bit trickier. Remember, for a list of all of the shows in Season 1 you can refer to the Season 1: Schedule listed here!

Where do I hear this clip:

The 3-minute clip will be played one time during every single first season episode of, The Tele-Cast. Yet another reason to tune-in and make sure you are listening along the way. When we get closer toward the end of the Season the clip will also be added into this post so you can try to solve any last minute mysteries. Also, remember to tune in to EACH episode to hear the full theme song for each individual show!!

How to Win:

* If there are multiple people who submit correct entries the winner will be drawn at random from the correct entries

* If there are no correct entries submitted the person who had the most correct shows will be considered the winner. (1 point for every show in the correct slot and 1 point for the missing show)

How to Submit an Entry:

All entries must be emailed to bosskdawg@hotmail.com. All entries must also be in a numbered list format as demonstrated below:

1. Name of show (first one in the clip)

2. Name of show (second one in the clip)

3. Name of show…

What do I win and when will the winner be announced?

The winner will be announced during the final episode of Season One, Episode 35.  The prize will also be announced during that episode. (Seriously you should be doing this for the pure fun of it and to prove your geek-status not for a prize people!!)
