Well it’s only March and we have been on a roll so far here in 2011. March marks the beginning of GeekCast Radio’s 5 Episode look at The GCRN Top 100 Animated Series Of All Time. I wanted to write this part II post because of several things that Steve and I have talked about. The main thing is that there will only be 5 podcasts going at one time. Last year we were producing 6-12 podcasts weekly for the most part. We love podcasting but it was too much even for me! Can you believe it??? LOL. So with that said here is what you can look forward to from March-November 2011:
Geek Cast Radio Podcast: YES I know the show is just called GeekCast Radio but for me it makes more sense to add podcast at the end. GCR will see a increase in episodes exponentially starting with Episodes 20-25 which will be The GCRN Top 100 Animated Series Countdown. We have tentatively planned through Episode 50 of GCR. Not going to reveal any of the future episodes just yet. However I truly think that 2011 is the year of GeekCast Radio.
[MWIRE] Movie Week In Review: This one is currently on hiatus however there are a few special episodes planned before it returns July 4th 2011. We have decided that MWIRE will be a 6 months on 6 months off podcast. There will also be a brand new format created for MWIRE. There also are a number of episodes I won’t be on. Specifically I’ll not be on 8 of the 11 episodes dedicated to the Star Trek films. After that it’ll be business like usual.
The Tele-Cast: Kevin’s first ever produced podcast has really taken off….. Look for more awesome stuff from the Tele-Cast!!!
ToyCast: This one is currently going under major changes. Yes the regular toy discussion episodes will be happening. However all manner of toy news will be covered on ToyCast now. The toy news episodes I will try to get out weekly. The topic shows like Transformers 1986 movie toys and such will now be monthly. With my time devoted to some other podcasts right now and I’m not collecting toys as much as i used to so ToyCast will have to change.

FTCC is our monthly look at the American version of Power Rangers. We also have Spada The Baltmatrix giving us Sentai info, and so much more. This is a colaboration between Geek Cast Radio Network and Pop Culture Network.
Transformation Animation Podcast (Premieres June 26th 2011 Will End October 26th 2011)
TAP is the next logical step. After many comments and interactions with PecanCtMichael I decided to bring him onto The TFG1 Podcast. Steve/Megatron also appeared in a few episodes as well. We had a great rapport going. The next step after TFG1 was obviously Beast Wars and Beast Machines. Are you getting a hint here… GCRN covers all of the americanized versions of Transformers cartoons! The terrific trio will be returning this summer to present you with Transformation Animation Podcast! We have emerged from the depths of a dark tunnel that was The Beast Unleashed Podcast and move onto Transformers Animated! The podcast will run 15 episodes covering all three seasons, the toys, comics, almanacs, and more. We also hope to get several interviews from the creators, producers, voice actors and more. So get TAPPED this summer!
Legends of the Dark Knight (Premieres October 31st 2011)
Steve’s brainchild! All Batman centric DCAU Stuff!! Basically we are covering the animated Batman films in the DCAU, every episode of both Batman The Animated Series and Batman Beyond!
ToonCast Beyond (Premieres November 11th 2011)
ToonCast continues 65 years in the future. The art shown above is just test art. Toon Beyond will have something similiar, but nothing to do with Batman Beyond other then the font. For those of you that are ToonCast Proper listeners and wish ToonCast won’t end, well it kinda isn’t. It’s just being reborn into ToonCast Beyond. TCB will focus on all manner of current cartoons. With special Delorean Time Episodes going back in time to what might have been missed on ToonCast Proper. Toon Beyond will be split up into Seasons! We will have a rotating panel of hosts depending on the episodes. So get ready to go beyond with ToonCast!
