Hi everyone 😀 I’d like to say first of all a huge thank you to all my co-hosts ,fans and friends from GCRN for the really awsome sweet birthday wishes 🙂 I really appreciate it. I also want to say again thank you for the warm welcome when I first began here . It seems like just like month I’ve been here but in reality it was 6 months ago !!
I can’t thank you enough for your support ,encouragement and feedback on what we here at GCRN do. Being on all these podcasts is a blast and I am proud to tell people that I am a part of GCRN,it is truly an honor.
Got home at like 3 am from pre birthday celebrations and it was worth it , i had a great night with my family and some friends so i couldnt ask for a better way to ring in my big 2-0. Yes I am now 20 years old :p One of the best parts of waking up on your bday is seeing all the facebook posts ,emails etc flooding in between 12:01 am and now :P.  I am so thankful to have such an amazing family and friends in my life and some new friends made by just being a part of GCRN. I feel so privileged to have so many kind ,amazing people around me.
From my co-workers at my camp job to my fellow Broadcasting and Film Students, my friends here in Toronto as well as to my friends from Deviantart,Youtube ,and now here on GCRN ,my co hosts Mike, Steve, Kevin you guys are all amazing individuals.
I apologize for lack of posts ! School has gotten very busy as of late , I am about to do wardrobe/ help with art direction for my groups final film for the semester so I will be a very busy girl the next few weeks 😛
A couple of the highlights of my week this week included interviewing Jason Marsden and getting to hear his insight on his voice acting career as well as hearing him tell me “best of luck , i hope to share a mike with you one day” That meant so much to me to hear a fellow voice actor say that 🙂 It was a great experience interviewing him and I look forward to interviewing many more VA’s to come and hopefully one day in the future I will join the ranks of Voice Actors 😛
I also hosted the first episode of my sections “The Journal” a show where we showcase all the amazing documentary pieces that the section I am in has produced. It was a truly amazing experience and my first time hosting a live show (I have worked on live tv before but behind the camera never in front)
You can watch it here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvmcX_Kv2TM Enjoy 😀
I want to thank all the crew and my fellow broadcast +film students for an amazing first show and I look forward to the next 4
If you want to watch it live please go here on THURSDAYS at 5pm http://www.livestream.com/centennialtv
feel free to leave messages in the live chat during the show . We have a lot of interesting pieces that myself and fellow broadcast and film students have produced for this show so fee free to watch it either live or taped .It was def an eye opening experience and hopefully one day I will be a reporter or anchor on a news/entertainment show!
Finally last weekend I went to MTAC (March Toronto Anime Con) it was a hell of a lot of fun and
i dressed up or “cosplayed” as Jill Valentine from Resident Evil 5 and Princess Zelda from Ocarina of Time.
Thats all for now but thank you everyone for your bday wishes 🙂 More posts to come I promise , now off to enjoy my 20th bday
