This is Jason David Frank and you're listening

to the Geek Cash Radio Network. One of my weekly

wrap -up episodes where I go through the week

that was in comics and give you my thoughts and

opinions on some of the key issues that came

out last week. Do note I do get into some spoilers.

I do try to avoid the big surprises but if you're

someone who wants to do absolutely nothing about

a book before you read it go to the show notes

and I will put timestamps for every book I talk

about so you can avoid hearing about a book before

you read it also I do start each week with my

recommendation of the week and my recommendation

the week is a little bit different it's not necessarily

what I think is the best book of the week though

sometimes it does correlate with that. It's more

so what I think is a great starting point or

what could lead you to reading more books or

if you're someone who's going into the comic

shop for the first time, want something to read,

what is the key book to start on? For example,

you wouldn't want to start with Doomsday Clock

number five this week because you would be completely

lost, but... One book, I think you would want

to start with was with this is my recommendation

of the week is Grass King's number 15, which

may sound a little bit weird because Grass King's

number 15 is actually the end of this series.

So why would this be a great starting point?

And it's because it's my recommendation the week

and I can do what I want. So how dare you question

me. But in all seriousness. What I think is really

good about this issue, this last issue is that

even if you've read this issue without reading

a single story within Grass Kings 1 through 14,

I think you can get a lot out of it. And it doesn't

necessarily ruin the series for you, even though

it does answer one of the biggest mysteries that's

been Going on in this book for some time because

I think really what's been the key to this the

story which is written by Matt Kent drawn by

Tyler Jenkins is that it's been a story that

a narrative that has thrived on two key factors

and that is atmosphere and Character it in the

sense of that spend a lot of time in these 15

issues building up these different characters

of this graph Kingdom you know it takes place

during present day although you wouldn't really

think so looking at the aesthetic of the book

it has almost like a 70s look to it has a watercolor

design and it almost like you would think Matt

Kent would draw this because it does to me in

a way look a little bit about like the Characters

he tends to design but there's a little bit more

detail and a little more of a rough texture I

know it's not an art style that may work for

everyone I thought but I always thought it was

really well done in this issue what I really

loved about this and it is as I indicated and

I don't want to get into huge spoilers, but it

does let us know who this killer is who's been

kind of in the background for some time and what

I loved about it is that we learned the reasoning

behind what he's doing and we learned that he's

a writer and He's been killing all these people

not because you know, he enjoys killing it. You

know, that's more of an added bonus It's because

of what comes next just the grief and the suffering

that these people feel and I thought you know

reading it I'm like is this I think this is in

a way Matt Kent as a writer even you know Tyler

Jenkins as a creator as well and talking about

Those who create stories and in a way their their

addiction to grief Because Matt Kent, you know,

as a writer, has had a lot of stories that do

have a sorrow, melancholy feel to them. This

book, for example, and how, in a way, writers

can somewhat feed off of that. There's almost,

at times, an addiction. They like seeing their

characters go through hardships. And on a meta

-contextual level, I found that a little bit

fascinating. Like, it wasn't necessarily, I think,

a critique saying this isn't the right thing

to do. More so of like, this is how you get good

drama. It is a dick - As someone who as a person

who is causing it to happen and also the person

who's soaking it in and we do like a lot of us

do like stories that have an element of tragedy

to them and Within that you you forget that yeah,

these are fictional people but you're you're

legitimately seeing people suffer and seeing

people go through some awful things for Your

own amusement in a weird way and now looking

into that and asking is is it right or no? Why

is that where where is that coming from? And

I just I love the opening from the opening it

had me hooked and I was like, wow I did not expect

that to be how this book Opened with this specific

issue like, you know, we the last book left off

and we knew that okay They're closing in on this

person. Now. I'm thinking maybe this might be

more of an action -packed issue. This had a few

like issue I believe it was 13 when they were

actually invading grass kingdom was like, wow,

this is action packed. It was like explosions

and stuff like this. And this has been more of

a methodically paced book. So like maybe this

is how it will end. But it ended more on a low

key element. Although I will say there is a torture

sequence in this that will will stick with me.

And again, going back to that, you know, it it

opens with this person who we would by all means.

Call an evil bad person for what he's doing and

then by the end of it though We are guilty of

the same sin or we could be if you're enjoying

the story guilty of the same sin that he is in

a way In more of again a mental contextual way

not in the fact that you're reading this causing

someone to die But in the sense of the same joy

that he was feeling we were also feeling So I

just thought that was a really great look into

This great capping of this story that's been

going it's been one of my favorite comic since

it came out been recently either nominated and

I personally would like to take credit for that

because why not but in all seriousness has been

a great book and. I thought this was a great

capper to it. I was sad to see it end I am really

excited though that this creative team is coming

back for another book in August It's I think

it called black badge or something like that.

It's talking it's evolved in kids and like a

Boy Scout troop So I don't know we know more

about it than that. I saw it in solicitations

and No doubt. I will be picking that up So I

just thought wow I I was really struggling this

week when it came to what I should pick for my

recommendation of the week There are a lot of

new series that came out like that would be a

good starting point But there is a little things

here and there that didn't necessarily make me

want to pick them And you know, I thought you

know doesn't make sense does it make sense to

say let's make a recommendation of the week with

it's all predicated upon the fact that it's about

a good starting point being that last issue of

a series and I would also think like if what

I'm talking about what my review mini review

of this at all excites you or all interests you

Go up and pick up the trade because a trade will

be out very shortly with this being the last

issue At least the first volume may actually

already be out. I'm not 100 % certain But at

least the full volume will be out shortly, and

it's worth it. Like, Matt can, I always relate

him to Jeff Lemire and their execution. I know

they're friends, in the sense of they're very

much, I think, get into people. They're very

people -focused, and their people feel... Real

in a sense that they feel like people that you've

kind of run into or that they have a lot of character

to them that they have a lot of personality,

but it's not necessarily out of the norm. It

feels like in a way almost documentary ask. It's

almost like a great documentarian finding a kind

of intriguing. Area of the world and making a

movie about it and you forget that you're actually

experiencing fish fiction Even though this is

actually a comic book and like I mentioned there

are times in places where things get a little

bit More, you know excitable. There is a little

bit more action here and there but for the most

part it's really been a drama It's really been

a drama base story. So again, highly recommend

it. Advice going out and checking it out. It's

been a great series so far. Sad to see it end,

but super excited that this creative team is

getting back together again for another series

which I will undoubtedly be picking up. Another

book that was honorable mention for recommendation

of the week was The Man of Steel number one.

Brian Michael Bendis's first full issue of Superman.

We saw the short story in Action Comics 1000

also saw his short story in DC nation zero But

this is the first full issue that he's been writing.

There's been a lot of buildup to this He see

it's bare no expense and letting the world know

that Brian Michael Bendis is coming to the world

of DC Comics and question is how was it and you

know what? It was good. I enjoyed it. It was

a fun time. I think it did what it needed to

do as a first issue of this series. My only apprehension

was that I didn't feel like, oh my goodness,

this is earth shattering. And it may be just

because of the expectations of it being by Michael

Bendis. I'm thinking like reading New Avengers

number one for the first time and felt like,

wow, this does feel like a changing of the guard.

This feels like a very important issue. This

is what I want. You know, this feels like something

that lived up to the hype again that read that

decade ago. So maybe it wouldn't if I read it

now, but. I thought what this did well was show

that Brian Michael Bendis does have the voice

for Superman, and his voice, Bendis' voice, is

not showing too much. I don't feel like he is

bendising up with his dialogue in this at all.

I just feel like the Superman that we've come

to love, and Superman's a challenging character

to write. He can be too Boy Scout -ish if you

don't write him correctly. He is retconning,

or I don't know if it's really retconning what

you refer to it as he's... reestablishing the

history of Superman in Krypton, and this is harkening

back to the Man of Steel series that John Burton

did that really set the stage for Superman's

origin. And I get why he'd want to do it again.

I get why, you know, Bendis being who he is,

knowing his notoriety, what he wanted to say,

and put his stamp on Superman. But I don't know

if it's necessarily needed like do we really

need a new origin for Superman? We've gotten

so many of them Does it really have to happen

this way and I don't necessarily think we do

I I am turning the corner and somewhat Having

my apprehension turn into anticipation because

I do like the character that he's building that

may be responsible for all this I thought he

would be this like evil one -note character,

but there seems to be more there in the background

There's some indication in here where he's working

with other you know galactic beings or notable

people throughout the solar system about why

he thinks that Krypton should suffer and things

like that so like Seems like Krypton may not

be as innocent as we believed and where could

that go? We'll find out but overall though there

wasn't like a whole lot that happened this issue.

We see Superman being super by saving someone

and there's an introduction to a new character

with this female firefighter who I believe is

the chief and I'm assuming we will see her again

in some time in the future. I did like that we

do get the Clark family again. Or the Kent family

I should say because that's her actual correct

name Jonathan shows up and seems like there might

be something going on with him. He's having a

gravel spurt so is that just you know a throwaway

thing or is that actually something that will

be coming and I really Will hoping that he keeps

that part of Superman that they don't you know?

Go on the wayside because I felt like that's

been one of the driving forces of what's really

Made me appreciate this superman rebirth since

the beginning. So if that continues, we'll see

but for now I think if you're you know, we're

curious about this and wanted to pick it up I'll

think you will enjoy if you're superman fan I

think you'll get everything you want if you're

bendis fan and you want to see bendis in the

world of metropolis i don't necessarily feel

like you get his voice so if you're not a huge

superman fan i don't necessarily think that you

would enjoy this all that much because it's superman

so in one way it makes sense it's it's what you

should have but on the other hand it's like if

you are hiring bendis you want bendis to do bendis

and i don't know it's a weird balance to strike

it's only one issue so far so there's so a long

way to go but i think it's at least starting

off at a good point so Another book that was

almost recommendation of the week was Judge Dredd

Under Siege Number One, and I will preface this

by saying I'm not a huge Judge Dredd fan. I've

not read a lot of Judge Dredd comics. I read

a few here and there, mostly recently, and I

was a huge fan of the movie, the Karl Urban movie

that came out a few years ago. I thought that

was quite good. I do hate the Sylvester Stallone

movie. A big reason I actually read this was

because it's written by Mark Russell, the writer

of Snagglepost and the Flintstones and recently,

not too long ago, talked to him in an actual

interview. And we brought this up and he was

discussing it. So I was really anticipating it.

I was curious to see, you know, what he did with

Judge Dredd. He's not necessarily his style of

a writer. Doesn't seem like, oh, what would he

do with this character? But. Speaking with him

and you can go back and listen to that interview

It was really the city of you know mega city

one that was really the reason why he wanted

to write this story and you see that from the

beginning as It's this idea of this specific

block that was created meant to be this block

designed for you know the more high -class citizen

and things fell through and you were left with

like a shell of part of this location where you

know things are just kind of run down and not

working and a specific group is kind of taking

it over and people are now fighting for their

lives and here comes Judge Dredd to try to help

them out. So I thought in the sense of reading

this I thought he had the voice of Judge Dredd

down pretty well for at least my knowledge. I

thought the art was pretty solid too. I think

that with Snagglepus he's been kind of Handcuffed

a little bit by not having a great artist I thought

at least this artist fit the story that was being

told not Fantastic over -the -top art that is

gonna, you know fly off the page But in the fat

and sense of it was never I think Candy Camping

or never felt like he got in the way it and I

thought the coloring it was actually quite quite

Solid as well. It had more of a darker tone or

sorry brighter tone than I was anticipating But

it think it worked for this story there Fighting

over this block called packed Swayze block and

I thought would there be a lot of humor in this

knowing Mark Russell? Obviously a funny guy.

There wasn't all that much there was of jokes

here and there but it wasn't I think forced in

for the most part and I thought you know, it

did itself Well as the first issue establishing,

you know this concept giving you idea and I like

the fact that you do have This gang that's trying

to take over this location But there are actually

people in that group that are trying to take

it upon themselves and you're seeing just really

why the society of mega city one has its problems

in the in the complications of creating a city

like this and urban development and stuff like

that and certainly ties in too much of what is

going on in our world and How we have you know

locations that can't have drinkable water and

how that stuff tends to happen So even maybe

not under Purposeful pretenses or maybe sometimes

because of that But so yeah, if you're I don't

know if honestly if huge judge dredge fans would

dig what he's doing here I like I can't say because

I'm not one of them but as a casual dredge fan

and as a bigger Mark Russell fan I was impressed

by it and I enjoyed it. That was a good time

But it's not I don't think he didn't know it

intellectually as engaging as his snaggle post

source Flintstones I think it's a good book for

him to write kind of learning more of how to

fit his style into a more of a superhero actioning

genre I hope he doesn't like Go all the way away

from some of the books that he's writing. I know

it's probably not a lot of people out there that

Want a book like snaggle plus I do so I hope

there's still room for books like that But I

think you know, he could perhaps bring something

new to the table for Judge dread and other books

moving forward another book that was in the running

for recommendation of the week was harbinger

wars to number one This is the beginning of valiant's

big summer event although event with with a smallie

You know, I feel like when valiant does events

they it doesn't overcome Their storylines for

the most part and usually they're only and they

don't go on for 16 months They tend to go on

for four, you know, sometimes even smaller usually

their their Event or a few issues Usually rarely

over five or so and this is written by Matt Kent

who's I would think probably values best writer

currently writer of XO man of war and Now he

is taking on harbinger wars number two and I

will say like I was hesitant to recommend this

as recommendation the week primarily for two

main reasons This does tie a lot into the prelude

and usually preludes are ones you can typically

skip But in this case, I would say no you would

want to read the prelude because it sets up pretty

much everything for this first issue If you don't

read that you could probably be quite lost and

what's happening here for the most part the other

problem I had so it's it's harbingers wardens

number two So do you need to know and read harbinger

wars the first one? I would say so far. No, they're

really The main person in this is is livewire

who's this size who for those that don't know

they're kind of like the mutants of the valiant

world, but instead of You know gaining your powers

during puberty that you have to go through this

process in order to have them be activated and

sometimes the process can lead to people being

killed but and sometimes the powers that you

get are not the greatest things in the world

like Last year's secret weapons series showed

us sometimes your power could be talking the

birds or having random Items appear for no apparent

reason or not having the ability to control what

you get at that moment in time But people are

coming around trying to kill some of these sites

so live wire feels like the only choice that

she has is to Really wipe out the world satellites

and and with that a lot of the power grid Causing

utter chaos and that's where like this lost me

a little bit because You know live wires designed

to somewhat be the hero here and I felt like

I understand what she was coming from because

she felt like these people are trying to kill

these kids and she wanted to stop them, but her

actions At the moment made sense because there

are emotional reaction to almost being killed

or seeing people being killed causing these satellites

to fall she's ability to control technology and

then Though her reaction afterwards seems a little

bit off kilter to me like she's causing this

is causing you know complete and utter chaos

like people are dying kids families innocent

people are probably dying because of her actions

and she doesn't seem to have any type of remorse

to it at least as of yet and it was really hard

to symptom sympathize with her as a character

because you know you're you're causing some horrific

things to happen for people have no skin in this

game whatsoever they're just trying to live their

daily lives and now you're destroying that because

of your actions and And I don't know, that's

where I was having challenges understanding it.

And a lot of valiant characters do show up from

Bloodshot to Ninjak to try to figure out what's

going on here. So it's almost like a mini civil

war in a way because different characters are

siding with different people. Exo Man of War

seems to be maybe on the opposing side possibly

trying to bring her down or... Maybe not or at

least people are trying to convince him to and

a bloodshot and then jack are there and then

jack who works for mi -13 is obligated to Try

to me possibly bring her in so it's a lot of

lines are being drawn And so i'm excited for

where this can go and I you know, I trust matt

ken I trust valiant. They usually do events like

this. What well and And I love secret weapons

last year, so if they can kind of capture that

magic again, I'll be super happy. Solid art as

well. Sometimes with the Valiant events, they

have a very different look to them, like 4001

last year, or two years ago when that came out.

But in this case, it was really good. I liked

the design overall. So if you never read a Valiant

book, could you pick this up and understand everything?

I don't know. There is a lot of expedient decision

drop to kind of explain what sites are here and

there. So it does seem like they are well aware

of people maybe picking this up that aren't necessarily

Valiant fans. Just give you some background over

some characters. Like I mentioned, you know,

Ninjak purposely points out that he works for

MI -13 and I'm sure that's also in there for

people who may be reading a Valiant book for

the first time. So I personally, when I first

started reading Valiant, I Started with one of

their smaller events. It was like the valiant

mini series and after a while I was able to get

my footing so I'm sure that many would be able

to do that here, but I like I said I think you

do yourself a huge favor if you read that prelude

and also possibly secret weapons because it seems

like that storyline will be playing part here

and also that was a great series that was written

by one of the screenwriters of arrival and Nothing

in common with arrival except for that But I

think was kind of cool seeing someone from the

movie world to quickly move into comics and his

transition was actually quite Quite quick and

quite effective. All right. Well, it's staying

in the world of valiant We have quantum and winning

number six and this actually Starts a new creative

team coming out coming in David Daniel Kimball

Smith who was writing it previously has left

new writer Elliot Rahul is now writing and with

artist Francis Port Portello neither are creators

that I honestly know a huge amount about I've

maybe read stuff from them previously But I don't

know off the top of my head and I really like

the quantity stuff that was happening prior to

this I thought the run was quite good and I was

like hoping okay well can can they step in and

do just good of a job and I think it's time to

tell I don't necessarily know if it will just

be as called as great as what they did but I'm

liking what they put out so far this is a tie

-in to harbinger wars and I just mentioned how

valiant doesn't like Usually allow vents to take

over everything that's going on in the universe

and then of course we have a tie -in But I think

it's a tie -in that it's good I enjoyed it a

lot and as I mentioned with the power going out

and there not being Access to things like satellites

utter chaos is happening and with this we see

quantum and what are you trying to do their part

to help What this burning building and there's

literally that them trying to them trying to

save people Which was kind of cool to see and

still had having that type of humor you would

want with the Kwon and Woody Buck meant with

a little additional heart in there as well and

I think possibly a little call thanks to some

of our First responders and I thought the art

actually by Francis Patela was quite good. There

was a specific page that really caught my eye

it was a you know, it's a huge splash page, but

It was showing quantum and woody traveling this

burning building and just the different layers.

I think it really was a great establishing shot

because we saw, you know, the different layers

of the building, the different floors and how

some were on fire, some weren't. And I think

it just put you in a good spot space here to

see this, you know, where they're located that

really add in some tension for the scenes that

came next. So I would I thought, you know. They

had to me a lot to live up to towards and I think

they have the voices of this character You know

Elliott Rahul has written some other stuff for

That a valiant previously so he you know, he

knows he knows like this world pretty well So

we'll see where this goes and it does you know

enough at your appropriate cliffhanger So I think

I don't know how much further this will tie into

harbinger wars. It says it's a continuous of

Looking at the arc that it's supposed to tie

in moving forward, but I'm not sure so if you're

a person who was worried About a new creative

team coming in if it would lose a step. I don't

think it does I think it If I didn't know, if

I didn't look at the cover and see a new artist

and writer, I don't know if I would even have

figured it out. I obviously would know it's a

different artist because the style is different,

but I think the voices of the characters are

still there as strong as ever. Keeping this going,

let's move on to the world of Marvel and get

to one of the biggest books that was released

this week and probably this year, especially

when you just look at... price point and that

is Amazing Spider -Man number 800 and you know

the penultimate issue to Dan Slott writing Spider

-Man the eight hundredth issue the end of this

Red Goblin storyline a lot going on in this eight

hundredth issue also apparently possibly Stuart

Eminem's last work ever he's might be retiring

or he's retiring partially so that's that's sad

to see because he's a great artist But the question

ultimately is, is it any good? Does it live up

to the potential hype? And I think for the most

part, it does. What I really think this does

is two key things. And it encapsulates basically

everything that Dan Slott has been building with

Spider -Man since he took over the title. And

in that, everything that makes Spider -Man who

he is and makes Norman Osborn who he is and how...

those two relate to each other as characters

where Norman Osborn is this character that tends

to use everyone to get what he wants by destroying

them or where Peter Parker is more so about building

people up and Building relationships with one

another with other individuals and sometimes

that can be as downfall that can be his weak

point But I think sometimes that weak point can

actually be a strength and we see how that plays

out within this issue and you know dance slot

is a master craftsman even when his Book isn't

working really well, you know, he has this in

his back pocket and he's used it now Will this

go down as one of the best superman or spider

-man comics ever written? Will it go down as

one of the best dance slot comics ever written?

On spider -man and I don't know. I like that.

That was good a solid satisfying ending It did

what it needed to do and I think a problem with

a book like this is when it's this 800 If you

issue and it's been building up to this moment,

you know Some people aren't gonna make it out

alive and when that when you know that's there

It doesn't necessarily have the same type of

impact per se because you're just waiting it

for it to happen It's okay Who's the person that's

going to be dying in this issue? And you know

not everyone walks out safe and you know just

In the same fact that it's comic book deaths,

we know that those don't tend to last very long.

So, I understand the way he went about it, and

I thought the deaths within themselves were effective,

but I think maybe if those occurred at 799, they

actually may have been more impactful, because

they wouldn't be expecting them coming that early.

With that said, the other piece of this is that

the big elephant in the room is the fact that

it is a $10 book. And that's a lot of money for

an issue, and I think far too much. It's more

money. It's a couple of dollars more than Action

Comics 1000, and you get less pages. To its credit,

though, it is one story, although with multiple

artists. It's broken up to different chapters,

and each artist gets a different chapter. Sue

Ninneman, like I mentioned, Roberto Ramos. For

example, and even though it was different artists

in each chapter, it wasn't very jarring. So I'll

give them that. Waking up like they did, it didn't

feel like I was ever taken out of the story or

ever felt like the styles were so drastic that

I wasn't reading the same comic for the most

part. So I'll give them credit for that. But

I don't necessarily think it maybe is deserving

of that ten dollar. That's as much as a first

volume trade for an image book. And I don't think

you get as much. I didn't. I should say get as

much out of this as I would for that. So and

you know, that's the price point. I think it's

not really something you could put on the writers

for the most part. You know, I don't really make

that decision. So I don't try to use that the

corporate when I'm just looking at the quality

of the book, but recommending the book, asking,

you know, telling you if you should go buy it.

I just say just tread lightly. If 10 bucks is

too much for you, maybe wait. For the trade or

maybe wait to buy it for cheaper or or what have

you it to me is not necessarily a Must have to

read it now that my my jaw was on the floor because

I was just so amazed by it. It was good I enjoyed

it was fun, but I was not I wasn't Laughed with

the same type of impact. I've had reading other

You know something like superior spider -man

still is to me the peak of this But if you've

been loving the red goblin storyline, you'll

probably I think find this ending very fitting

and it's kind of funny because if I Look at Amazing

Spider -Man number 800 and Punisher 225, which

book did I have much more fun with? I would say

Punisher 225, although... Amazing spider -man

100 is much more of a complete story. So I do

got to give a credit there But I just been really

enjoying this what Matthew Rothenberg has been

doing with the Punisher this Punisher war machine

and this issue sees the Punisher just go toe

-to -toe with some all the some of these heroes

from Captain Marvel the spider -man and it's

just kind of fun seeing seeing him like find

out ways to outsmart these people finding ways

to basically you know, make go out of his way

to still enact the punishment he thinks is deserving.

And although seeing that, you know, Captain Marvel

is no slouch either. So I think they were able

to find a good balance of finding ways to. show

how powerful or how much ingenuity a character

like the Punisher has but at the same time not

making the other heroes look like fools except

for maybe Spider -Man who does I think have some

good jokes and I gotta say I like the way that

Matthew Rosenberg writes Spider -Man so hey maybe

that'll we'll get more of that sometime soon

who knows although I feel like I've been saying

that about a lot of different writers so there's

only so many people that can write Spider -Man

But uh, I this is I think it has maybe one or

two more issues I know this will be renumbered

in August with more of a classic Punisher storyline

and I get that I think this is only Could go

so long. Although it's actually gone longer than

I thought it could but still I'm also the covers

lately have been really great as well in the

next cover for The next issue looks like Baron

Zemo showing up and I love Baron Zemo. So maybe

that means the Thunderbolt. So that's a lot of

fun And again, this is the most complex story.

It's pretty straightforward Punisher doing what

he does and I actually remember the very first

issue Matthew Rosenberg wrote He had a essay

in the back about his take on Punisher how he

thought he was a very blunt answer to a really

complex question and I think we're seeing that

play out here and ramifications of what happens

when you use that answer and how that answer

might come back to haunt you especially if you're

Nick Fury, so yeah, I again, I don't know if

Curious for the Punisher love this storyline

as someone who just you know has a passing interest

in the character I'm I'm glad to see it continuing

and I'm just gonna kind of enjoy it for what

it is in all of its insanity Speaking of books

that have been a whole lot of fun Marvel 2 and

1 number 6 came out and it's been a while since

I feel like we've had an issue of this series

I don't know if it's missed a month or what's

going on, but I'm glad that it's back and it's

just as good as it left. And it's I kind of feel

bad that Chip Czarski is not actually going to

be running the Fantastic Four series because,

man, he seems to get these characters. And this

is everything I would want in a Fantastic Four

comic. And even though it's only half of them,

I guess in this way, it's more than half of them

because we have we're in another dimension. But.

He has all these voices down and I was like I

was somewhat concerned that Chip Dzarsky would

have too much similar of Bendis with Superman

having too much of his voice, but he doesn't

have it and there is a lot of heart in this too.

There's a great back and forth in this between

Mr. Fantastic or this fantastic Mr. Fantastic

of this other universe and Ben Grimm and also

his utilization of doom and and how doom still

is still doom even if he's trying to do the right

thing and this is a Planet in which there are

universe in which doom combined with galactus

took over galactus and is now the planet eater

the planet eater That galactus used to be and

now he's come back to earth So basically eat

the last living thing that exists and what that

means and they're trying to you know Stop that

from happening. I just thought that the plan

that he put in place. It's a gypsy I should say

within this and Jim Jim Chung came back as an

artist and he Did the first two issues, I think

I was happy to see him come back and do this.

I love his art. I don't think we get enough of

it. I just wish that at one point we would get

a series that he would stick with instead of

just giving us like one issue here and one issue

there. I don't know. Maybe that'll never happen

again. But I think if he stayed with his book

throughout, it'd be even better. So I know this

is continuing. I don't know. if it will stay

Human Torch and the Thing throughout when the

Fantastic Four come back. I kind of hope it does.

Overall, I've just been having a lot of fun with

this book, and I really like his voice for the

Thing. He's really made him such a focal point

of this series so far. He's had a lot of weight

on his shoulders as a character because he's

been holding the secret, which I think we all

knew the answer to, but it's somewhat revealed

at the end of this book. But I always think the

thing I always think the thing is one of one

of the better characters, you know He used to

be one of Marvel's best big characters and like

Wolverine came along but he has so much to him

and I'm glad that he's getting more attention

with a series like this because There's a great

lot of great storytelling. You can tell with

him. He you know, he had you know, he certainly

has a sympathetic aspect to him he's got a great

look as a character and knowing That he's also

bringing along Johnny Storm in this who they're

not having that normal combative relationship

because of there's you know, they're trying to

find read and sue and they know that their powers

are dwindling and it's it's seeing it's interesting

seeing them with this type of Conflict occurring

or with this issue happening because you get

to get the different side of the relationship

Which I think will be great and then when the

fantastic four do come back We'll get that classic

story once again, but for now, I just love this

book It's been really solid and again hoping

and praying that Jim Chung comes back and does

more more books Alright, let's move over to DC

for their biggest book that came out this week,

which was Doomsday Clock number five. And I'll

be honest, this is a tough book to talk about.

But what I give it credit is it does give you

a lot to chew on, a lot to think about, and the

craft in this is great. I think, you know, Geoff

Johns and Gary Frank, they are, you know, a great

writer, great artist, putting a lot into this

book. But with that said, I can't help but think,

I don't know, there's something about it that

is just not... Clicking with me with this issue.

I did like the last issue. I thought it was the

best issue so far, but I Keep thinking and wondering

ultimately. What is the point of all this? In

a way like is is there going to be something

that it builds towards and We get some hint of

it here and I guess what I'm having trouble with

mostly is that it seems like what they're doing

especially with this issue is Trying to take

the DC universe and place it into a same situation,

same type of tone of where the Watchmen universe

was when that was released. And I just don't

know that... Is fitting or that makes sense to

me like I like the idea I like it's a strong

word I understand the idea of saying okay what

if we took the watchmen in the DC universe and

we kind of combine them and and Again, you have

like a metal level commentary of showing that

you know since watchmen was released since that

book was released if forever changed Comics and

superheroes how we approach them it made it even

a little bit more challenging to tell those just

superhero stories of old They lost their innocence

in a way in outside of the pages of the comic

books. So I didn't kind of see how Doing that

we see we could show how much of the world of

the superheroes have been impacted from Watchmen

since that point, you know, they lost What they

once were and how do you how do you kind of showcase

that within this book? and you know using dr

manhattan maybe as a catalyst of showing like

once watchman ended him and his influence and

Figuratively, and I guess literally in the story

Though the world of comics to have a little bit

more of a darker tone things got a little bit

more serious you couldn't do you know the fun

kid stories anymore you had a you had to be darker

and Edgier and we're so much getting out of that

and here and there but it's still still really

there now with this it's taking that DC universe

and stepping up even in more and it just I guess

it doesn't feel like I'm reading a DC book now

even though they're in the DC world, the way

that they're approaching this universe, the way

that they're approaching this story, it does

feel like we're seeing the DC characters in the

Marchman universe, and it just doesn't fit to

me. It feels like somewhat contrived. That you

would try to say that, hey, now the universe

of... You see that the citizens are at this boiling

point that they believe that you know these superheroes

that this is this huge scam They started this

hope Superman theory We know that all these metahumans

are coming from the United States and trying

to add in all this like political Conflict, but

I don't know if it if it's as effective as it

once was trying to use You know Russia as well

and just this type of propaganda that's existing

and at the same time you have like characters

like Oz and Batman interacting and and because

you know the Watchmen had that you know that

the boat story this also has this callback to

the this classic crime movie that they flipped

back and forth to the kind of hammer home a lot

of the things that they're going with and It

just feels like they're trying to recapture such

a specific voice from such a specific time Like

I mentioned the word contrived is all it's what

it kind of comes to my mind And that's not to

say that this is a bad comic or that it's not

effective or that, you know, Geoff Johns and

Gary Frank are putting in bad work because they

aren't. I think there is, again, a lot to chew

on a lot. A lot here just appreciate in the sense

of what they're putting together, what they're

attempting to do. I just don't know if necessarily

it's working for me on a subjective standpoint

as much as I would hope it would. Or I guess

it's not really like I guess the word I say is

necessary in the sense of. I don't think Watchmen

is this untouchable piece that you can never

take apart or ever continue or write stories

about. All aspects of fiction to me can be can

be utilized or adapted or changed. I mean, we

had Baz Luhrmann make a Shakespeare movie. It's

OK. It's like this stuff is going to continue

this way. in some form or another, so I don't

feel like anything is necessarily sacred. So

I'm not this person that thinks that, oh no,

they're ruining Watchmen. I don't necessarily

think that. If Godfather 3 didn't ruin Godfather

2, this isn't going to ruin Watchmen if it ends

up not being good. But if you're going to do

this, if you're going to take that classic story

and do something with it, I guess I'm just curious,

ultimately, if... There's a point to it that

makes sense and it feels like it's necessary

like and I thought that there was potential for

that because like I said Showcasing how the world

of comics has changed especially that in DC What

that means and there's been some hints here and

there but some of the surrounding pieces to me

haven't necessarily worked as well and trying

to do some of the same tricks like usually using

that you know that TV show and replacing of the

The other classic story like they did in watchmen.

It just feels like and I get why they're doing

it But it's like do you need to try to do the

same tricks again? Why not do why not do something

a little bit different or it just seems like

it's there because Well, that's what they did

in watchmen. So Okay, they did that. So how are

we going to do our version of that? And when

you keep doing that, it's just a case of to me

the missioning returns. So it's a weird book

to talk about because I think it's objectively

a good story. Well done. And probably one of

the best comics of the year. But at the same

point, I don't necessarily think it there's just

pieces of it that just I'm concerned about we'll

see it's hard to say, you know, it's only five

issues into this 12 issue series So there's a

lot to going with it but this issue just has

me concerned because it kind of brought up a

lot of the stuff that Was on the kind of the

back burner and if this is what they're focusing

on moving forward I don't know. I will enjoy

this as much as I was hoping to Also the big

comic that will be coming out I think shortly

is Batman 50 with the wedding and up to that

point we're getting some of these prelude issues

with Batman Prelude to the wedding number one

this one focusing on Damien and Rosal Gull and

I did really like this and not really because

of the interaction between Damien and Rosal Gull

but some of the conversations between Damien

and Selena Kyle and how he's approaching it and

the things he's going through, knowing that his

dad's getting married and what that means for

him. And I appreciated that approach to it. And

again, the conversations between him and Selena

and their relationship, which is what hasn't

really been focused on all that much and, you

know, him like, does he call her mom? You know,

does are they having kids? What does that mean

for him? Imagine having a Selena, Kyle, Bruce

Wayne. Child, you know could that What that would

that mean for Damian knowing that he is not you

know the son that he planned it was the son that

was kind of Made in secret in a lab and he doesn't

have that same relationship. So I think this

actually, in a way, could benefit Damian a lot

as a character by approaching it this way. It

gives him a lot more, I think, there's aspects

to him that are now more sympathetic than previously,

which I have not always been a huge Damian fan,

but in a way, now I feel like his attitude is

softening, but at the same time, you still see

that arrogance pop up here and there. So I hope

we get more of this. I don't know if there are

other prelude issues, what they mean, but I am

surprised that they really haven't focused on

this a little bit more. We got some of this in

the one storyline where I know they went to confront

Ra's al Ghul's daughter. I can't think of her

name right now. This slips out of my mind, but

we got a little bit there between Damien and

Deck Grayson, but we still haven't really gotten,

I think, a great conversation between Bruce.

Damien I'm waiting for that to happen. I don't

know if that's gonna happen issue 50 But in the

meantime the Selena Kyle and Damien to me that

was the benefit of this There are some other

things that happened with him him doing some

other you know as again the Rosseau goal piece

Which was okay, but the other conversation was

by far what made this issue what it is so again,

it's then milking this wedding for all it's worth,

but If we're getting stories like this and we're

being able to approach characters in new ways,

there's a benefit to it. So it makes it seem

a little bit more important. And at least there

are good stories that are being created. With

this being a fifth week, we also got a lot of

these Hannah Barbera DC crossovers and I did

pick up two specifically. I did read two. Some

of them are the ones I skimmed through. I was

not really digging. There was like the Flash

and Doom Buggy. I just read through it a little

bit. I was like, this is not for me. But one

that did kind of appeal to me and I was like,

okay, how could this, how would this work is

Jabberjaw and Aquaman. You know, a gigantic shark

that lives on land working with Aquaman and I

gotta say to me that the best part of this was

the opening where there was a parody of Jaws,

the opening of Jaws, which I thought was well

done. I'm like, okay, for that, at least we got

something good out of it, but the interaction

between Aquaman. To me, once they actually went

back into the water and they went into Jabba

Jaws' future, it lost a little bit. I thought

the fish out of water, to use a bad phrase, sequence

was... the best part of it. There's a sequence

where they just see like Jab -Jaw walk past the

window and just that comedic reaction was the

highlight. And after everything after that was

just kind of OK. But there have been far worse

of these comparisons. There are these. team ups

with Hannah Barbera. And I can't remember if

this one had the Captain Caveman story at the

end or not, but that was kind of cool too. So

yeah, if you're on the fence about picking these

up, there's a great variant cover that I thought

was fantastic. I didn't pick that up, but it

was like, wow, that's. That's quite a great cover

for such a silly book. But hey, you know, I don't

know. And also, too, if this is even though this

is based upon a Hanna Barbera character, this

would be kid friendly. I don't know if kids would

really enjoy this all this much. But one of these

books, I thought they took them too seriously

previously with some of the Hanna Barbera characters.

The crossovers to me didn't work, but this one

I thought was one of the better ones, along with

the next book, Super Sun's Dynamite Dynamite

and the Blue Falcon number one. And this was

probably the best out of all of them, minus the

Elmer Fudd. That was Looney Tunes. So in the

Flintstones crossovers. But it also kind of makes

the most sense because this is superheroes crossing

over with superheroes. A character like Blue

Falcon is basically a Batman ripoff or, you know,

archetype anyways. And seeing them be with Dynamite

makes a lot of sense. It seemed like there was

a hint that. Damien met with dynamite previously.

I don't know if that was just specifically for

this comic or that was a callback to another

crossover I don't know. It's hard to keep track

with all these but I thought this was a lot of

fun It did remind me of like a great like Saturday

morning cartoon like a Johnny Quest type of story,

you know where you have the robotic dog and Whose

master gets mind -controlled and they're trying

to save him and and Peter Tomasi who wrote this

it's been doing super sons So I think this was

by far the best executed and this could have

been like an issue of super sons It you know,

if those characters were not hearing about bearer

characters They exist well in a super, you know

human universe which makes sense because they

are pretty much parodies of the Superheroes to

begin with so if you just remove the parody treat

them a little bit more serious you get You get

this book and I love the theme of death and understanding

death and coping with that or not coping with

it that carries throughout like One of the opening

scenes is Jonathan going to his first ever funeral

or viewing and it being up a casket and his reaction

towards it Which it's a lot of like a lot of

sense I think this is a the benefit of a book

like Super Sons Seeing the way like kids approach

death, especially when they're superheroes It's

it's a very different approach to it because

there are they are literally in life and death

situations But at the same time they're at an

age where it's hard to really fully understand

that even if we ever can but Yeah, if you're

looking at all these and you're which one's the

best to pick up to me these two were the best.

The other ones that, like I mentioned, they just

didn't seem like they caught my interest all

that much. And what I did see of them, I was

not really digging. But your miles may vary.

Maybe if you're more into the other characters,

then you might appreciate those more. Alright,

let's move over to the world of any books and

talk about some image comics starting with killer

be killed number 19 and Man, this is sad because

we only have one more issue left of killer be

killed And the way this ends you're wondering

how exactly are they gonna wrap all this up?

But man, I've just been loving this book so much

it's been one of my favorite books since it's

come out and Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips have

been putting something special together. And

again, this is where the use of first -person

narrative is so effective and it's key to this

working where everything's now coming to a head.

Dylan is now realizing that he may have not gotten

away with what he thought he got away with. And

as he finally gets struck down by the detective

who figured out the fact that, you know, he in

fact was the vigilante the entire time and all

those pieces that he said are now coming back.

But at the same time, He realizes how screwed

up the justice system is, and I don't want to

ruin where the ending goes, but it's a little

bit more action -packed than some of the other

issues. I just love seeing the development of

the character of Dylan, looking where he was

in his first issue compared to where he is here,

especially now, him compared to an actual police

detective, how now he's more comfortable killing

someone than a police officer because he's gotten

to that level where he... Doesn't really impact

him like it used to and which is kind of crazy

because you think about who he was when this

all began In 19 issues. It's been a fantastic

example of how to tell a story Both on a narrative

standpoint in the character standpoint. So sad

that last next issue is the last issue I don't

know, you know what this all means Is there some

sort of secret that that's going to be revealed

at the end that you know? Like this was all a

dream or something like that. I hope that's not

the case. I don't think I'd be back there would

do that, but I just will say that, you know,

if you're looking for a great book, obviously,

this is not a good jumping on point, but I do

know this is actually getting made into a movie.

I think one of the directors of John Wick will

be doing it. But I don't know when that or if

that will ever come out because we've seen a

lot of comics that are supposed to be movies

and never coming to fruition. But for now, it's

just been a fantastic book done by a fantastic

team. And, you know, it's I guess it's better

to end too soon than too late. But for now, I'm

just going to say that this was a great issue

and I've loved this series. Another new number

one that came out this week was from image with

the last siege number one And I gotta say for

first issue. This was rather lacking It just

there wasn't that much story here for the most

part it it to me it ended at a cool point But

it felt like if that ending was like the prelude

or the first half of the book and then got into

something else It would be great but ending a

first issue where it did it I don't know I felt

like I don't know enough about all these different

characters. I have a some sense of this world.

It's taking place in in evil times, there seems

to be some political things going on, people

truffling around trying to establish power in

this little kingdom that there is. And apparently

they're not a big fan of Easterners, because

that becomes a problem where you have these two

people fighting. And it's this guy that you realize

that he is a ruler of this world, or at least

this little town. And that's pretty much it.

I thought the art was well enough. And this could

end up being really great, but as a single issue.

It doesn't, to me, sell you on much. Like, there's

not much intrigue here to me. There's not much

on the sense of character. The concept seems

fine, but nothing that is out of the norm that

we haven't seen in some primer fashion before.

So, can't necessarily super recommend this. I

may pick up the second issue just to see, you

know, does it improve? Does it get better? I

didn't dislike the book. I didn't hate it. Like

I mentioned, if this was just the first half

of a... Of a series. I think I might you know

enjoy where it goes next But you know that if

you're there's a lot of comics out there as we're

talking about today You got to do something that

really grabbed the intention and I felt like

it's a first issue that failed to do that One

book that has not failed to get my attention

is Rail City that has come back now with Rail

City number 11 We're now in the third arc and

I think might possibly be the last arc of this

series and the first arc started in present -day

Where the second arc went into the past and throughout

this comic the death of Tommy which has been

You know one of the one of the kids of this family

has been haunting over this family literally

and physically figuratively this entire time

words are hard and This issue, we're kind of

seeing why that is a little bit more and more.

And what's different about issue number 11 is

that there hasn't been really flashbacks per

se. The first arc was mostly all in the present.

The second arc was mostly all in the past. But

now with issue 11, we're cross -cutting between

the past and the present. And we're seeing how

they've been able to form one another. And also

this issue had a really great theme of, you know,

do you confront your problems or do you run from

them? And when I was talking about You know grass

kings how that was a book that we had a writer

look into the idea of do writers does fiction

have this fixation about grief and suffering

and If you read the world city, I think the answer

is unquestionably. Yes, because this is a sad

and Melancholy book, but it's just so affecting

such great drama Let Jeff Lemire doing what he

does best with a little bit of a science fiction

twist it It has been to me one of the best series

and this continues it here. Not a great starting

point. So even though it's coming back, I would

advise, you know, reading the first volume and

actually I spoke with JD Durand a few weeks ago

about volume one and we'll be actually talking

about volume two shortly as well. So check that

out and you can, you can check those out. We

go more in detail, but for now I just say that,

you know, it's coming back for the third arc

and it seems like it may be ending at its best

point. And I'm just the use of Tommy's death.

And how it's been this piece of the plot that

we has been trickling out from bit by bit. It's

just to me been massively done. Also, a new book

that came out this week from Black Mask Studios

is We Are Danger, number one. And the first thing

that caught my eye with this series or this issue,

I should say, is that it doesn't necessarily

feel like a Black Mask book. I think when I think

Black Mask, I think a lot of them have this political

spin to them that they tend to be. Serious is

a wrong word, but I don't know socially conscious

But you know, they did do books like four kids

walk into a bank But I'm thinking of something

like Cal Exit or black where our young terrorists

and this is a little bit more You know low -key.

It's just the drama in here is a little bit more

superficial I would say it's you know, it's about

the this young girl who I think isn't her teenage

years who is At a new school trying to find friends

and she's befriended by the cool kid who invites

her to this this band a concert and she finds

out that that person actually is in the band

but has a falling out with One of the singers

of the band so they decide to come together and

form their own band to show her and the conflict

that ensues between Her former bandmates and

her new band and that's really where much of

the drama lies I do like the characters. I do

think it's a bit well written. This is I think

one of those books where I feel like This isn't

bad at any ways. I think it's done well. It just

maybe not for me, but I think there is an audience

out here for it. I'll probably keep with it because

I liked it well enough, but it didn't really

strike me in a sense of this is something that

is a story that I can really get invested to.

But I think it. It was able to accomplish what

it set out to do and unlike something like The

last siege where I felt like I didn't get that

much on a character standpoint this I felt like

give you a lot even though there were a lot of

character the main character in that relationship

of uh With this cool girl, and yeah, I always

like that dynamic where you have that That girl

that feels like out of place and for some reason

the the cool person like it, you know One of

my favorite movies is the sandlot and that has

a similar dynamic So maybe that's hitting me

and that's why I tend to tend to like it because

some reason that that works for me And maybe

because i'm not the cool kid and I wish that

that was me when I was growing up I don't know,

uh past wounds maybe but but all seriousness.

This is I think a good book That I think you

know, especially if you're a huge music fan because

your music does play a big role I have no musical

talent whatsoever. So I don't know if they were

you know, having some things Musically that I

was not picking up but on a pure story standpoint

into pure character standpoint for a first issue

It was good. Well done. So uh, yeah another good

series from black mask. All right. Well, let's

move over to dark horse for black wood number

one another new series and I think at a very

simplistic way you can call this harry potter

for college where it is this based on this school

where all these people are sent that has some

mystical elements about it but the difference

with these kids are they don't know what they're

getting into they just think they're going to

this alternative college they don't know that

they're magically inclined they don't know that

there's more going on here than your typical

college and they kind of are thrown into this

world and as you would expect things seem to

be happening that they can't explain so I liked

it. Well enough. I guess my question would be

like What is the purpose of keeping them in the

dark as much as they did is for as long as they

did because it ends up Them getting into some

you know crazy things by the end. I'm like, okay,

they're bringing him to this to the school They

know what's happening is if this the intent of

the school is to you know Prepare them for this

supernatural piece, which I would imagine so

because they're all Connected in some way. They

all have this ability Why not make them more

aware of what's going on to begin with it? You

know, it seems like just Keeping that knowledge

from them just for the sake of drama Not for

the sake of story. So that was really my my one

issue with it, but I did like the characters

I do like this idea. I did like how they you

know, they As you would expect with people coming

together from different worlds. They seemed to

like not get along with each other but when things

go sour and things go crazy, they're kind of

forced to try to get along. It's, you know, your

classic reality TV show type of situation, I

guess. But yeah, so I didn't love it. Like I

said, that was my big key issue. But I thought

there's enough here concept wise that it could

work. So I might keep with it, but not one of.

Dark horse best new series that have come out

but it I think there may be an audience for especially

you are if you are a huge Harry Potter fan and

you want to see a similar idea but just through

a different force All right. Well one more book

to talk about today and last but not least Definitely

not Lisa's it was one of my favorite books that

came out this week. It's been one of my favorite

series It's been going for since it's Ben releases

that's Abbott number five and this marks the

end of this series unfortunately, but I thought

it did end at a good point and I mentioned when

I first talked about the first issue that I was

a little concerned with the supernatural elements

that would overtake this story and in a way it

did by the end but I was okay with it because

I fell so much in love with the character of

Abbott. I felt she's such a strong character

with so many things going on. that there was

one piece that and this that I felt like I missed

something in a way where Relationship begins

near the end, which I I don't maybe I completely

missed it It seemed like that wasn't something

that I was keying in on in a way but outside

of that it's been such a well told fun unique

book and The thing that has stayed with it since

the beginning has been like the style and atmosphere

of this book. Uh, it's the panel, the panel designs

have been phenomenal at each and every issue,

just finding new ways to approach storytelling

and really utilizing the time period and taking

that and like adding in new layers here and there.

So it was, if you're someone, it's hard to really

equate this to anything else, honestly, like

what is this like? And I think that's a testament

to its creativity, selling them on who's you

know, written a lot of recent books, like I enjoyed

what he's been doing in Exiles. He had Black

Bolt, which I still need to catch up with, but

I think he's one of the most exciting writers

in comics right now because he is trying to do

new things and he brings a unique voice to the

world of comics. I hope this series continues

in some way because, you know, this is the end

of one story, but by far it could be the beginning

of another one. We could have month another Abbott

spin -off or its miniseries or what -have -you

so I don't know if there's any plans for that

I hope that there is and With this I thought

there was a nice little send -off you there's

a moment here with her and and her past husband

I believe and I thought that was fitting and

I also thought you know how it intertwined some

of the social issues that are happening at the

time we're effective and and There was also a

lot of great, there was a great moment in this

with utilizing a werewolf and just the, you should

have a shotgun and a werewolf I thought was a

lot of fun. So this book is kind of delivered

on all the different levels. And I think it might

have a strong feeling that when Eisner's come

around next year, this one that may pop up in

the new series catalog. Section, I think there's

a good chance of that. It was a way to really

to tell we're only halfway through the year at

this moment in time. But for me, it's definitely

one of the best new series that has come out.

So if you're looking for a new book, this will

probably be on trade in a month or two. And it's

only being five issues. So I doubt the trade

will be too expensive. I think you could do far

worse than Abbott. Alright, well that'll bring

me to the end of this week's episode and if you

want to hear more from me and more of my comic

book thoughts I actually have been trying to

do some more YouTube videos on the GeekCast radio

network We have our own YouTube channel and all

of our podcasts are there, but also wanted to

get some video content So I've been going through

a lot of the marble refresh books giving some

ideas. You're probably hear me repeat a lot of

the same stuff I did on this podcast, but you

know, some people like podcasts, some people

prefer video content, so we're trying to give

people what they want, and seeing, you know,

depending on what gets more ears, what gets more

eyes, that might be what we want to focus on

more going forward. Have some great episodes

coming up as I mentioned i'll be speaking with

dady duran shortly regarding the real city volume

two Matt steward and I talked about Howell county

volume three last week. We'll be also talking

about a new series revival I shouldn't say new

series as it's been around for quite some time

but a new series to us Revival from image that

came out and think about actually 10 years ago

or eight years ago at this point So there's a

lot of things coming up. So If you are interested

and you want to interact with the show, you can

go to Kikas Radio and keep up to date with all
