It’s Not Brain Surgery Too!
Hello all and welcome to a NEW Daily Blog series from me… TFG1Mike! The idea here is for me to write something, anything, once a day for 365 days. From January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. Day 50 well I haven’t kept up at all so far this year with the writing. I think because of being so burnt out at the end of last year is why I’m slacking this year! So in my 50th entry for 2024 I’ll be talking about BRAIN SURGERY III!!!
So since Day 121 and 208 of 2019… I’d been fine, I even wrote up Day 128 of 2022 as it had been 3 years since Brain Surgery! The headaches were gone after the brain drain. But November of 2023 they returned, and I’ve got through a buncha tests and everything. I wrote up Brain Surgery II HERE, but now that the tests have been done….
So I had to do a spinal tap/lumbar puncture… NOT FUN!!!! But they got what they needed from that I guess, and the path is… No Cerebral Shunt, no 2nd brain surgery…. but we’ll monitor everything. Meanwhile I get one massive headache about every three days or so. Then there are some days where I get multiple headaches per day. I’m taking medication for it, and it works for the most part.
What I’ve really had to start doing is limiting my screen time A LOT! And I also always use the night light feature on Windows 10 now. I’ve always been at my screen, working on podcasting, writing, playing games etc etc… But lately I’ve noticed I can be here at my screen for maybe 2 hours or less.
So yeah that’s the update….. I’m thankful for my Dad taking me to all these appointments this year, and everything else he and my step mom do for me, plus the rest of my family, and all the friends I have for always being there. Thank You EVERYONE!
