About this Episode

Steve and Mike examine the TransArt Optimus Primal figure—a masterpiece upgrade of the original Beast Wars toy with improved articulation, swappable face plates, show-accurate details, and better engineering. Mike also delivers a passionate rant about Funko's Transformers NFT collection, criticizing the environmental impact of NFTs and the decision to lock Hot Rod behind digital tokens instead of releasing physical figures. The episode covers TransArt's approach to upgrading classic Transformers with better joints, accessories, and paint while keeping transformations faithful to the originals.

Hi, this is Dan Gilbazan, and you're listening

to the Geekcast Radio Network. Jazz here, and

I am so digging the Geekcast Radio Network. Cliffjumper,

commence countdown. Five, four, three... ToyCast.

Oh, yes. Listen in to the only toy podcast you

will ever need. Hello and welcome to ToyCast.

This is episode 147. It's an all -new generation

here at Transformers ToyCast. ToyCast, whatever

you want to call it here, inside the GeekCast

Radio Network's podcasting sphere, or podcasting

cybernetic space cube. I don't know. I'm, of

course, Steve, Jim, Mike. Joining me, as always,

is typing Steve Megatron. Yes. How dare you call

me out on the air? You're not supposed to type

during a podcast. You're not supposed to eat

during a podcast. You're not supposed to drink

anything during a podcast. Heaven forbid you

breathe and don't say um. Every um I have to

count that I cut out, I'm going to charge $20

per um. You've done it three times. Where's my

money? Ha, ha, ha. Show me the money. Yes. All

right, Jerry Megatron. So we are here. It is

a display case episode, so I have to play my

display case music. So that's going to happen

right now. Don't touch. Yes, thank you for that,

Skeletor. So. We are here, and we are talking

about toys, as always, on ToyCast. I have, and

the reason why I am going first is because my

Tom makes more sense to go first before your

selection. I have in my hand Funko Pop Toonami

Tom. So I can hear Steve Bloom coming out of

the voice of this action figure right now, even

though technically Funko Pop's... are inaction

figures because the only thing that moves on

them is their heads. This is awesome. I wasn't

sure if I was going to be able to get this. I

got it last month for my birthday. And very,

very cool. It's Toonami Tom, just like you. You

know him from the show and everything else. Comes

in a cool box. His colors, silver, gray, whatever,

blue. He's got the... little nuclear thing on

his, on his chest. And I kind of wish he was

holding something, but in his left hand, it's

just like at his side and his right hand is kind

of like extended out. Like, give me something

puts, you know, put a quarter in my hand for

every cartoon of mine you watch or something.

And it's got the little camera on the left side

of his head. That's very cool. I love this thing.

This is so cool. So fun. And the reason why I

say that this is going to tie into yours is because

I'm making a G1 joke because you're going to

talk about TransArt Optimal Optimus from... Optimus

Primal. Whoa. Oh. TransArt Optimus Primal. Okay.

I thought it was Optimal Optimus. Oh, I don't

have that yet. Ah, that's what it is. Okay. Good,

good, good. But yes, TransArt Optimus Primal.

Yes. Trans Art Optimus Primal. What is wonderful

about this figure and what I like about the company,

Trans Art, is that they take an original design,

they upscale it, they masterpiece it, they give

it more accessories, and they fix some of the

problems with them. Case in point, I had the

original Optimus Primal Transmetal. And they

cover the transmetals pretty well. And these

things they have, I don't know if you can hear

it. They have ratchet joints on the arms and

legs. They have full articulation. They have

ankle tilts, which that's like modern toy making.

Oh, absolutely. In of itself. They also have

where you can swap out the face plates. So you

can change. Very cool. So I can make Optimus

have that scowly look when he's mad or where

he's kind of looks like the original toy in that

regard. Or I can have him with a smile or I can

just have him with his mouth closed. And it's

super nice. The transformation is exactly the

same. as the original toy which is nice and the

chrome on it is made somewhat different it's

not that vacuum sealed garbage that hasbro did

to their toys where they self -destruct after

a period of time however they coated this it's

different and they gave like when when you get

it they give you this special wiping towel so

that you don't have your oil residue on the on

so like if you touch it you can wipe it off Yeah,

absolutely. So one of the things I like about

it is they took like his shoulder pads, which

on the original, they only had like a little

bit of articulation. These can completely, they're

on a ball, ball joint and his backpack is on

a ball joint. And so they have a greater range

of movement and he can, you can, you can bend

it, you can twist it, you can have it so that

he, yeah. And the only thing it doesn't have

is where the cannons split apart for his little

back axes type things that he uses. But they

come with the blast effects. His gun, the only

thing I don't like about his gun, and actually

it ties into the next thing, is his hands. They

articulate the hands. So in this case, the thumb

is on a ball joint, but the fingers are on hinges

with the pins. And three of them are on one pin

and the other one's by itself, so you can have

him kind of hold it like a trigger. And there's

like a little spot where his gun is supposed

to hold in his hand. The hand on this figure

is weak. Like really weak because it doesn't

actually hold the gun very well, which is my

only gripe about the figure. Like literally the

only gripe. It's like they didn't put enough

in the peg that's in his hand to hold it. Right.

And then there's a clip on his hip instead of

like the old toy where he had a plug specifically

for attaching it to his hip. this one does not

this one has like some kind of a bracket that

it sits gently on which when i got mine the bracket

wasn't even on it oh no i had to email them i'm

like hey i didn't get the bracket that holds

the gun so they mailed it to me in in a mailer

and it was not easy to put on at all But I've

got it now. But there's a lot of articulation

in the knees. There's a lot of articulation in

the ankles, which the ankles are on a ball joint

or a swivel ball joint in a sense. And then his

legs twist just below his hip. And the arms,

how you switch the sides, transforms exactly

the same as the original figure, where you swap

the beast mode and robot mode hands out. The

chest, instead of splitting down the middle,

they have it so the arms are mounted to the top

section. And how they differentiate for the transformation

is they have the back and the front split open.

Oh, wow. So that the middle rotates on its hinge

and can slide inside so you can transform him.

He also came with a base. You can have him in

vehicle mode, so he's in the flight mode. And

it holds his weight. I don't know how. I have

not actually used it for that because I like

all my bots in robot mode. But if the occasion

arises, because I'm suspecting the Transmetal

Megatron will have the stand too, if it does,

I may put them both in vehicle towards each other.

So primal comes with the blast effects for his

gun, which has a flashlight in it. Oh, cool.

So you can press the flashlight and it's got,

it's got some really chintzy push button on the

top. What I just realized is I'm not sure if

the battery ever goes out, how I'm going to get

it out. Because there's no defined way to pop

it loose. It doesn't appear. Ladies and gentlemen,

this is live toy figuring out as we go. I'm just

looking at it. I'm like, I really don't see how

you can replace the battery at all. But it's

not like I turn it on ever, so it's not a huge

deal to me. So I know this would be a whole other

piece of technology and a whole other whatever.

How come they haven't like things like that where

you're not sure how to open and get the battery

out? How come they haven't made like things that

come with batteries? Like the chamber is the

charger. If the battery gets low, it automatically

should charge. I don't know. I'm probably talking

out my butt here, folks, but I. I would just

love to see self -charging batteries in various

things because it would make more sense. Yeah,

I mean, I could see that too, but it would raise

the cost. I mean, he wasn't that expensive. It's

funny because he wasn't that much more than getting

the original toy. And the original toy, in order

to get all of his components, you had to... spend

about what you would for the masterpiece trans

art version so it was kind of like i want primal

but do i really care enough do and because i

can't go without having all the components or

at least the important ones like like the optimal

optimist for instance when i got him or reacquired

him he was missing two bullets in the gun, but

he had the arm, the arm pads, like the lower

part parts. And then two of the missiles. And

I was like, okay, that's, that's good. I don't,

I don't care about the extra missiles or the

gun. Cause he never used the gun in the show.

And the other two missiles don't really matter.

But, and what's funny is I got it cheap because

it, whoever had it, like got it in sand or something.

And I know I've gone off topic already about,

No, no, no, it's fine. But they got it in sand,

so the knee joints were very unable to hold his

weight, and the battery compartment for the light

-up section did not work. Oh, no. And I fixed

both, but I noticed my Optimal was top -heavy

and kept tipping backwards because the joints

were just shot. And there was no good way of

taking it apart, no good way to fix it. And I

discovered something that I never knew about

my original version of the figure, and that was

that the legs fold down into the feet. Right.

And I never did that when I was a kid. Like,

I just always kept his legs completely straight.

And so I didn't know that that was a thing. So

when mine... was like that i this time i was

like oh that's not right and then i i looked

at it like no it is right it's supposed to go

that way and so i i actually washed it with uh

dawn dish soap so it was something non -corrosive

and something that wouldn't damage it and plus

it's i was reading something that it's it's pretty

decent with the the chrome and i was able to

do that and then maneuver it into the joints

which uh stiffened it up Quite a bit. So, but

anyways, long, long story short, I'm excited

for the trans art one because the face is show

accurate. Unlike the other one, the backpack

folds behind him. Unlike the official, the, the

cannons fold in unlike the official and it lights

up too, but that I don't really care about, but

it's, it's also got the, uh, the ankle joint

thing and the, uh, uh, a lot, a lot of the other

accuracies to the show, even, even so, so much

as like the, uh, inner arm that connects to the,

the shoulder to the, the, the arm itself are,

are show accurate, but that's, that's why I like

the trans art, uh, figures. And then getting

my hands on this, this Optimus Primal, I was

very impressed with the figure. just having it

in my hands yes it's it's a little lighter than

i would expect like this has no die cast whatsoever

on it whereas some of the other ones like my

my masterpiece takara optimus primal which is

the only official masterpiece i have he's he's

show accurate he's perfect but he's very light

like it's very plasticky and Done right. It's

fine. I don't care. TransArt did a very good

job in updating the original toy and hiding some

of the holes and having certain slots built so

that you could put it on that stand that they

give you or you could not. And they plug a lot

of the holes that the original toy didn't. Like

the screw that was in the back of Primal's head.

Hmm. in the original toy or like the ones that

go in the shoulders on, on his back. Like they

put physical plugs in there to plug the holes.

Oh, wow. And so, so the, the care that they put

into the figures was, and I'd heard this from

people that had bought ravage or transmutate

or the transmittal cheetor and trans art did

a smaller optimal optimist a number of years

ago where he, he was like a seven and a half

inch figure so he wasn't quite as tall as the

original optimal optimus and they had the cannons

retract and the backpack fold back but for all

intents and purposes it was you know they they

updated the head sculpt but it was for all intents

and purposes it was like a 65 version of the

original toy just a little bit shorter with with

a few upgrades and then this new one that's out

they give him three different face plates and

facial reactions they've got all kinds of other

gimmicks to it and the like the the blow apart

armor he can physically hold it or it can spread

apart into the shield like optimal situation

so there's there's just a lot going for it so

i i had good confidence going in having had this

first one with the optimal and then seeing their

their pre -order images of The Transmetal Megatron,

which looks spot -on accurate to the show. And

the details to the head and to the different

facial sculpts. And his arm gun is supposed to

light up. And he's supposed to have the golden

disc reader as an option. And he needs to come

with a rubber ducky, though. But, I mean, for

all that aside... I was pretty confident on that.

And then when I heard they were doing a rat trap,

I don't suspect that one's going to be very much.

And it's very hard to improve upon the original

rat trap. Same thing with the Megatron, but the

fact that they can get it show accurate and the

head sculpts are correct and everything else

and get the little finer details because they're

making them bigger. It puts a lot of confidence

in, in their, their work and in getting them

like the rat trap, they fixed the backpack issue.

So like his wheels are actually like on his shoulders

area instead of by his his like knees. Right.

And he comes with his gun and he comes with the

wrist bombs. So. So, yeah, I mean, like they

like I said, it's not like uber impressive what

they do, but what they do is they upgrade the

stuff enough so that it's worth getting. And

it's it's like a collector edition version of

the figure that you wish that you had as a kid.

even though the original stuff is still just

as good because they try to keep the transformations

relatively simple and the same as the original

toy. Very cool. Very cool. Yeah, that, yeah,

that's awesome. And Optimus Primal is, is an

awesome figure. And I look like we sit on, on

all things transformers. It's so great what they're

doing with the toys these days, and they're not

just focusing on, and I don't know how Hasbro

does it. I don't know. I don't work for them.

But let's just say there's a Generation 1 or

whatever you want to say team that goes over

to this office and does their thing with Legacy

and whatever. but there's a Beast -era team of

whomever, you know what I mean? Like, I don't

know how any of that works at Hasbro. However,

and whoever is working on these things, I mean,

they are just hitting all the lanes. Same thing

with Transheart. With some of these third -party

companies, man, like you said, it's just as good,

if not better, than what Masterpiece ends up

being. And like you said also earlier, If there

isn't a masterpiece figure of it officially with

Hasbro, then some of these third -party companies

come up and do it, and it's just as awesome as

it would have been if Hasbro had done it. I honestly

think Kingdom Megatron is... I know you're talking

about Optimus Primal, but Kingdom Megatron is,

like we've said before, it's basically... They

could still do Masterpiece Beast Wars Megatron,

and I think they are actually doing it. Who?

Hasbro, aren't they doing Masterpiece? Oh, they

already had them. They already had Masterpiece

Megatron come out a number of years ago, but

it's like $400 to get it. True. But I can get

a knockoff one from another company that fixed

the quality control issues, and it comes with

David Kaye's voice. True. But I'm at this point,

though, that I'm being very, very selective.

I'm absolutely almost done. I'm almost done collecting

and who knows what the future will bring. I don't

know. I really don't. I didn't, I originally

set out to start collecting only the characters

that I could do the voice for. And then somehow

I got back into the entire beast wars train.

Well, because you had said that you had wanted

the entire season one cast to make up your, you

know, whatever. And then obviously you get, you

know, you know, you get into trans metal and

everything else. And I've, and I've kind of decided

to with that, that I'm being very picky now.

Like I'm almost done with season one. I just

need Inferno, which is supposed to come out in

legacy this year. And once I get Inferno, then

I'll have the entire Season 1 cast. I won't have

Season 1 Tarantulas, because I have the Transmetal.

Well, I have the Transmetal, and he is coming

out this year, but honestly, I always liked him

better as a Transmetal. And I've got this kind

of weird policy that if I at least have one of

the character, and it's the best version of that

character, I'm good. The only weird exception

to that is Optimus Primal and Megatron. I have

to have one of each version. The original Beast,

the Transmetal, and then they're basically Transmetal

2 or Augmented Transmetal from merging with their

original ancestor. Like I said, there's one weird

offshoot of that, I have multiple versions of

Rattrap. And I don't know why. But I always liked

Rattrap in the show, so I think it's partially

that. But like Rhinox, I have the Thrilling 30.

Cheetor, I have the original Beast Wars release.

I don't have the Kingdom one, just because I

always liked the other one better. And that was

one of my... I think that was my first Transformer.

figure so it it resonates differently with me

and air razor and tigatron i i have those because

the figures are as show accurate as you're going

to get like the original toys were not at all

and i couldn't get my hand on a tigatron to save

my life as a kid and now i have them but it's

the kingdom one but that's fine with me i mean

i can get the other one but i i have no ambition

to get it because it's cheetor And then for the

beasts, I have Blackarachnia, which the original

looked nothing like the show. I have Terrorsaur,

which the original didn't really look like him.

I have Scorponok, which I almost would have preferred

the reissue of the Mega, but again, he's too

big for the other scale of the other ones. I

have the Thrilling 30 Waspinator. I have Ravage,

Covert Agent Ravage. And then I have like...

On each team, I have one outlier that's not in

the show. I have Iguanas for Beast Wars, and

that's my actual original toy. It's the only

one I actually have from the original run. And

then I have my custom Grimlock. And I forgot

Dinobot. Dinobot didn't have a great toy as a

kid either, and I could never get my hands on

that. So, yeah. So, I mean, I'm thrilled for

the stuff that's out now and the fact that, one,

Even if Hasbro cheaps out on the paint, I've

gotten decent enough that I'm comfortable to

quote -unquote ruin the figure for other people

if I ever had to sell it, but most people will

like the fact it's customized anyway. But I also

want them to look as show -accurate as possible,

and as long as the mold is there, there's no

reason why I can't repaint it, make it look how

I want. and have it match the show. Because like

Terrorsaur, yeah, he goes for a nice little amount

on eBay, but my version is totally customized

and all of it's been repainted other than the

red. So yeah, there's that. And then I've butchered

a Combiner Wars figure and a Galvatron. And another

Combiner Wars figure to make his weapon. And

then I have a few G1 figures. And yeah, I mean,

it's just... I've decided, though, that after

I get the Trans -Art, Transmetal, Optimal Optimus,

Transmetal Megatron, Transmetal Rattrap, and

then the Inferno figure, as much as I would love

to have Laser Optimus Prime, I don't need him.

I don't. I have the original Optimus Prime and

I bought Ultra Magnus so that I could get the

cab so that I could have him as my Optimus and

yes it's not exactly like Prime but it's close

enough that I live with it and I'm perfectly

happy with it and I repainted part of him too

and yeah and then I think there's like one core

that I do want, and that's the repaint of the

Kingdom Core Megatron, which is going to be G2

Megatron. Oh, cool. And I had the original G2

Megatron. I bought them at a yard sale, or not

a yard sale, a flea market in Florida when I

was on vacation with my dad and my brothers,

and my aunt took us to a flea market. And I remember

buying Generation 2 Megatron at a flea market.

He didn't have any of his accessories, but he

had his gun. His head was there. He still made

the sound. He didn't have his missiles. He didn't

have the secondary gun, but I got him for $2.

That's awesome. Because the guy had no idea what

it was, and I looked at it, and I was like, oh,

I know what that is. I know what that is, and

I started losing it. And the guy, I asked my

aunt, I'm like, do you have change for a 20?

because the guy didn't have change for a 20.

So I literally went and I found something else

I could buy somewhere else that was dirt cheap,

specifically so I could go back and pay the guy

$2 and get the figure. I was like, I have to

have this. And I had it until about four years

ago when I dumped my entire collection. Oh, geez.

And in all honesty, it wasn't... I don't have

nostalgia for the original figure. I just want

the best version of whatever it is. So I technically

could have gotten like the earth wars or yeah,

the earth wars or the, uh, siege generation two

Megatron figure, but I, I really don't want any

more big figures or generation or, or having,

uh, G one characters that are bigger. I should

say. I don't mind having them in the core class,

but I like the rest of my beasts to be in the

bigger. Unless it's one that's bigger than all

the rest, then I can't do it. Yeah. So, folks,

there has been a little bit of cross -pollination

between all things Transformers Altered Geek

and this episode of ToyCast over this last week

or so. And I'm going to cross -pollinate a little

bit again because this relates to Funko and I

am fucking pissed. I feel like Mrs. White from

Clue. The flames, the flames on the side of my

face. Like, literally, are you kidding me? Give

me a break here. I'm sure everyone knows because

this news came out March 7th, 2022. Transformers

X Funko NFT Collection Series 1 announced. First

of all, NFTs are the dumbest fucking thing in

the world. Yep. My personal opinion. Mine too.

It's dumb. I had a good laugh on the other show.

Yeah, you're going to have a good laugh here

because I can keep up this rage because I'm still

so fucking pissed at this. So, TFW has some NFT

Transformers products coming in. So, you know,

they have this story. Funko have just revealed

a new Transformers X Funko NFT Collection Series

1. These are animated digital tokens featuring

Funko Pop Transformers characters. Sale will

start... Sale will start this Tuesday, March

15th at 11 a .m. Pacific Time, 2 p .m. Eastern

Time via Digital Funco's website. There are two

different digital pop packs. The standard pack,

five digital pops for $9 .99 USD. And then there's

the premium pack, 15 digital pops for $29 .99

USD. Each digital token is classified as common,

uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, and grail according

to their rarity. There are also some exclusive

limited physical Funko Pop Transformers figures

that you can redeem if you get the legendary

or grail tokens, or if you complete all of the

series. More information via the Digital Funko

Pop website. You could get the following characters.

Optimus Prime, Gold with Matrix, Devastator,

Hot Rod, Rumble, Black and Red, Sideswipe, or

Freddy Funko as Bumblebee. As I said, I said

this on All Things Transformers, I'll say it

here. When they announced the Retro Toys line

and they started doing Transformers and G .I.

Joe and all this other stuff, I was like, ooh,

Transformers pops. I can probably turn around

and tell you I have Shockwave, I have Optimus

Prime, I have Megatron, I have Soundwave. I actually

have two different versions of Soundwave. One

is the regular size Funko Pop and the other one

is the big 10 -inch jumbo one that comes with

cassettes and everything else. So don't get me

wrong, I love Transformers Funko Pops. The actual

fucking figures. Not this digital bullshit. And

it also, you know, it goes into the environment

and everything else. And I just, I don't understand

why they are doing this this way. Specific? Okay.

Gold Optimus Prime with Matrix. I don't necessarily

need him. I don't necessarily want him, but it

would be kind of cool because I could say, even

though the Matrix wasn't in the Golden Lagoon

episode, but I could say, okay. He went into

the Golden Lagoon, and he has a bunch of Electrum

on him. Fine, great, whatever. Devastator, to

me, Devastator as a Funko Pop just looks cool.

And it's not even a supersize. It isn't even

one of the 10 -inch. It's just a regular 3 -inch

Devastator. Hell, they could have made him a

6 -inch figure, but no, they made him a regular,

and he still looks cool to me. Hot Rod, give

me a fucking break, Funko and Hasbro. You're

going to do this? And I'm sorry. The Hot Rod

Funko Pop. We all know Funko's giant head, little

body, and most of the time they have these soulless

black eyes and everything else. Well, they also

change the eye color from time to time for various

things. And, you know, this time around, you

know, Hot Rod's eyes are blue. That's fine. However,

it's him as his generation. All of the Transformers

Funko Pops are based on the action figure style.

They're not based on the show. So Optimus Prime,

even though the Optimus Prime that I do have,

that is from the More Than Meets the Eye episode

with the Energy Axe, it's still the actual toy.

design kind of thing. So you're telling me the

only way for me to get a hot rod Funko pop is

to destroy the environment by buying these non

fungible tokens. Are you kidding me? And I am

sorry. I am not spending 30 fucking dollars on

a digital animated image. It's ridiculous. It's

absolutely ridiculous. I, I just, It almost makes

me not want to support Funko or Hasbro anymore.

It really, really does, and it pisses me off

because I have been singing Funko's praises for

the toys that they do make that most other companies

don't like. All right, perfect example. I'm sure

at some point during the old days of Toonami,

I'm sure there was a Toonami Tom action figure

most likely. I don't know. I'm not looking it

up. How often today are you going to get some

sort of collectible version of Toonami Tom? Not

really going to do it, but yet I have the Funko

Pop right here. So that's how I kind of, you

know, defended them on this. But, yeah. So I

wanted to bring this up because. And besides

what I've already talked about, I wanted to actually

bring up the environment stuff. I mentioned on,

I think it was either Altered Geek or All Things

Transformers, our buddy Mikey over at Moonbase2.

I've had Mikey on several episodes of various

things. I'm going to actually, it's not a very,

it's a long thread, but I'm not going to read

through all of it. I'm just going to read through

the first few tweets that he posted. Just a walkthrough

of the process for the Funko NFT in case you

aren't sure. You buy the digital NFT pack. This

pack is made of an assortment of NFTs with the

Transformers ones mixed in. You are not guaranteed

one of the TFs just by purchasing the pack. It's

collector card, you know, kind of gotcha thing.

The odds of getting a Transformers go from 48

% down to 0 .28%. Be aware, if you go in for

this, you will end up with a lot of duplicates

of the commons. Bumblebee and Devastator. If

you get a 1 .72 % legendary or the 0 .28 % grail,

you get a pop vinyl. You actually get a physical

figure. So to get a 50 -50 chance of getting

the grail, that means you would need to purchase

approximately 1 ,300 packs of these NFTs. If

you complete the Royal Collection, they don't

specify if this is just Transformers or all NFTs

in the packs. You get an exclusive pop vinyl.

So let's do a little research here. An average

for the carbon emission of a single NFT is 211

kilograms of CO2. Average global carbon footprint

is one. Ton. So one ton. So purchasing five to

15 card packs will produce one to three tons.

Purchase is equivalent to one person's output

per year, roughly. So if you want to get every

NFT minus the legendary or grails, which again

is thousands of packs, we'll give you the best

odds. So you've got a half a chance of getting

a common TF from a 15 pack. and will go with

a probable minimum chance. We'll say you get

no duplicates. You need to pull at least 32 packs

of 15 NFTs, which is 101 .28 tons of CO2, equivalent

to nine average households' annual carbon footprint

per year. NFTs are fucking bad. Yep. End of story.

No argument, no nothing. If I want a digital

image of Hot Rod... I'll download it. I can take

a screen cap? Like, if I want a custom digital

image of Hot Rod for a podcast episode, I will

take a screen cap from the movie or from season

three or whatever. And then I will send it to

you and you will do your art magic and give me

a custom image. Like, hello. I think we need

to close out this episode because my head's going

to fucking explode just talking about this again.

I've talked about this twice tonight and I'm

even more angry now than I was before. Okay,

so. Display case. I think we've really shattered

the glass in this episode. Your TransArt Optimus

Primal is amazing. I have just seen images of

this thing, and it is awesome. Very, very cool.

Even though I'm pissed at Funko, the pops that

I have purchased, I still enjoy them. Please,

folks, don't support NFTs. It's not fucking right.

Here, NFR, there you go. Not fucking right. There

you go. That's a thing. Megatron, you got anything

you want to say before we close this out? No.

You don't want to do a PSA or anything against

NFTs, Megatron? No. God, can you imagine? Oh,

my God. I'm so pissed about this because of Hot

Rod. I know you've said this on all things Transformers

and other shows. The only way you're ever going

to get a Funko Pop is if they make one of Beast

Wars Megatron. I would be even more pissed if

they revealed a Beast Wars Megatron in this NFT

potential for an actual physical figure. Yeah,

I don't buy things that aren't real. It's just

throwing money away. Because when the service,

whatever it is, dies, you're out. Yeah. I did

that with video games for a little bit, and it

sucks not being able to get whatever it is, but

I'm not spending money on a game. And like I

said, while I love Funko for their actual pop

products that are real that I can actually go

out and look at or go out and purchase, that's

great. I mean, come on, Funko. You're supposed

to be helping the environment, not hurting it.

Keep playing with your toys, folks, and we'll

catch you next time here on ToyCast. I just fucking

can't anymore. I can't even do the outro text.

It makes me want to hit my head against my desk,

but my desk is too low for me to do that. Oh,

it pisses me off so much. Just... No. Just no,

folks. No. Next time will probably be an Origins

episode, hopefully, if anybody still listens

to this podcast after my little rant here. And,

yeah, we're going to get the hell out of here,

folks. Catch you next time here on ToyCast.
