The Voice Season 4 Blind Auditions and Teams

About this Episode
The voice returned with our most exciting season
yet. In the search to find and develop the best
undiscovered talent in the country, the blind
auditions reached new heights. Hello and welcome
to GeekCaster Radio. We're taking a break from
the top. ten film countdowns in between episode
forty three and forty four and kevin and i have
gotten together and we're going to be talking
about one of the best if not the best musical
competition show on television fuck american
idol in my opinion the voice is where it's at
the only one that even comes close to this is
the lesser known one that will be coming back
i think for a third season here at some point
this year which is the sing -off which is an
all acapella vocal contest which is freaking
amazing it's got Ben Folds and shoot I can't
remember which member of voice to men as a judge
I had Sara Bareilles and a couple other people
at one point but that show is amazing but yeah
this show is number one yeah yeah this show and
of course I'm TFG and Mikey is Optimus Solo what
we're gonna be doing here is over the next Month
month and a half Because I look at Wikipedia
and so far the show is season four is supposed
to last through April 30th as far as the knockouts
So I don't know how long after that that the
live rounds are gonna go. Yeah We're gonna do
four separate podcasts this one here where we'll
talk about the blind editions and the teams for
season four and then we'll talk about Who we
picked for our own teams if we were coaches See
which one of us can pick the has the best taste
here No, just kidding see which one can have
the best luck with who lasts the longest on our
teams. Yes Yes, exactly So after after the blinds
and the teams there'll be an episode covering
the battle rounds. There'll be an episode covering
the knockouts and then When it's all said and
done there will be an episode covering the live
rounds in the finale So getting started this
this really all started for me last year in season
3 I started blogging about the stuff and I'm
doing it again this year and I don't know You
don't know no I I just If only if only Shakira
could sing her thought process to the contestants
instead of speaking in half broken English Like,
I swear, every time she opens her mouth to give
advice, I have to change the channel. Stop it.
I'm serious! She could talk to me all day. You
know, they brought in two new coaches this year.
You got Adam and Blake returning with Christina
and CeeLo being off doing their musical career
stuff and they brought in Shakira and Usher.
What do you think of the two new coaches as far
as bringing in a new dynamic for the show? I
love them so far. I agree that sometimes it's
hard for Shakira to elaborate on what she's actually
thinking. and what she wants to say because she
doesn't know how to say it. So at times that
can be kind of her little downfall, I guess,
so to speak. But I love the way that all four
of them are getting along. I think Usher brings
a lot to the table. And again, it's a completely
different group of people as far as their background
and Usher is not... in the same vein as CeeLo
by any means and Shakira is not in the same vein
as Christina. They're different genres. So I
really like it. And I can deal without the snarky
comments that you would get from Christina a
lot. She was kind of... Kind of got to like that.
Well she was just getting on my nerves within
the hole. It wasn't... It was more so when she
would take a personal vendetta against a contestant
or against... Like she did with the Mickey Mouse
Club guy. Oh, with Tony Luca? Yeah, when she
was just so out to get him for a long time and
was doing everything she could to bash him and
Adam when they were doing that. That kind of
got old to me, but other than that I didn't mind
her. Yeah, but I like I love Shakira. I'm a huge
I've always been a huge Shakira fan, so Yeah,
you know it like you know like we said it's gonna
bring a whole new dynamic and it's one of those
things where It's almost as if the two of them
have been there before I mean, yes I I know the
whole process of getting this show done is the
blinds are filmed the the battles are filmed
and then aired you know and all this and all
that like the only live actual aspect of the
show that was one of the hard hardest parts of
me watching season two and season three because
I didn't I didn't pay attention to the show season
one at all I didn't and even going back it's
like I just don't I don't give a crap about anybody
in season one but We're here to talk about season
four, but the thing is, Shakir and Usher, it's
like they fit right in. There was one of the
blind audition episodes. She points to Adam and
Blake and she's like, you see these two guys?
Four seasons of this already, they've gone deaf.
Yeah, they had some witty comments, that's for
sure. Yeah, I love the witty comments. Well,
and I like the dynamic that you get with a...
season people versus veterans and kind of how
that plays off against each other So the blind
editions in week one they That's one of the things
I love about this show of American Idol American
Idol since year one has always like their early
Rounds or what? I don't even know what they call
their their qualifying rounds or tryout rounds
or We can auditions and this and that the other
Whatever the hell idol calls them. I don't know.
I don't care ever since year one of idol It's
been nothing but bad contestant after bad contestant
after back into like they would have a whole
show of people that they would just say no to
and what I love about the voices is that they
focus on the people that Might get a team or
people that actually can sing versus ones that
can't in in night one you had Janessa Miranda
who's saying titanium no no yeah no Nicole Serrano
who's saying Katy Perry's ET and this is another
thing that I'm gonna be bitching about throughout
these episodes that you and I do what is it between
Katy Perry Adele Taylor Swift uh... all these
uh... okay i get that i get that they're the
popular artists of today but it's like oh my
god uh... james chalet who's saying uh... not
over you by gavin agraw you know there was six
different people in in night one of week one
of the blinds that did not make it and uh...
you know one of the things that i like about
when they show that is that Hey, we might see
one of those people next year that kind of improved
that you know We'll get to that here in a bit
with with one of the cadets that actually made
it through this year On night one or week one
the first two nights what like who were your
favorites from from night one? Well, I mean night
one there was probably two or three people that
really kind of stood out for me One was the one
that I missed. I actually sent you a message
or commented on one of your posts. Was Danielle,
or yeah, Danielle Bradberry. I thought she was
phenomenal as a little country girl there. Kind
of blew me away as the only one that really caught
my attention as this is possibly someone who
I could see winning on night one. The other ones,
Did like you know Judith Hill had a kind of a
cool story and she had a cool vibe to her I was
impressed with how well the Morgan twin sounded
together Their voices went really well together
and the other one that probably really Sucked
out to me was Chris Thomas just because He had
such a range that he was one of the ones that
they almost thought was probably a female at
first Um, he had that real high pitched, um,
and he sang, uh, saving all my love for you from
Whitney Houston. He stood out from me. Um, other
ones, um, you know, I was entertained by them,
by Midas whale. I was, I don't know if I'd be
a big fan of theirs, but I was entertained by
them. Um, Sarah Simmons version of one of us
was, was decent. Um, I thought Tanya Reynolds
was just true country. I like that about her
and then I thought it was interesting that we
got our first taste of the Shakira influence
with one of what would be three kind of like
Latin infused talents Katya I mean I'm not saying
I'm a huge fan of hers but I thought oh this
is what we're gonna get now that Shakira's here
we're gonna have a few more of these people who
are you know seeing an opportunity Let's see,
Josiah Holly, or however you say his name, doing
Maroon 5, I thought that was Brave and I thought
he pulled it off. I thought he did damn good
with that song and I could have sworn he was
gonna pick Adam. But yeah, the one for that first
week that really stuck out for me was Daniel
Bradbury. I've got several that really stuck
out to me. The whole thing with the Morgan twins,
they're... It's a little freaky. I know identical
twin siblings have this super special bond, but
I've never seen twins behave the way that they
do. They were constantly holding each other's
hands. I'm not trying to sound wrong and over
sexualized or anything else, but I'm sorry. The
whole time I was thinking, oh, twin incest, nice.
This just what popped into my brain, but I like
how they sing together I like how their their
singular voices almost become one. I think that's
a really unique thing about them Judith Hill
I liked her for the fact that she put a completely
different spin on a Christina song I thought
that was interesting just kind of like Tony did
in season two with the Britney Spears song Other
ones that I like that stuck out to me. I liked
Jess Kellner. I thought she sounded really good.
I Don't know if I'm I might like might as well
When they sing different songs, but as characters,
I can't stand them. Yeah, they're just too much
of oh, hey, let's party. Let's yeah, let's I
did like Sarah Simmons, I thought that was a
really, really good rendition of that song. As
you said, Tonya Reynolds. Katya, she starts singing
in frickin' English, maybe. And Josiah, I mean,
I liked pretty much everybody from week one,
with the exception of a couple. Like, Chris Thomas,
he was okay. Vito, Vito needs to... he needs
to go in the battles like just eliminate don't
nobody steal that kid I do oh and the other reason
why I didn't like him like he has an amazing
backstory but I don't like him because I'm sorry,
anyone that sings a Beaver song is not gonna
get my vote right away. I have to, like, if he
sings, like, in the battle rounds, if he makes
it past the battles and he sings other stuff,
I might get to liking him, but I just... makes
my skin crawl. Alright, so on week two, week
two is very interesting. We had a few more of
the Ones that weren't picked honestly out of
these I don't The only one I really thought was
any good was Julie Roberts who's saying God gave
me you But other than that I don't remember half
of them really yeah Like I don't remember half
the ones that weren't I'm saying the ones that
weren't picked. Oh, okay. I don't remember any
of them Yeah, the ones that didn't get a team.
Gotcha. What are your favorites from week two?
Just going down the list from week two. I couldn't
stand Karina Iglesias. Was not a big fan of hers.
I thought Warren Stone had a cool country vibe
to him. The Swan Brothers. They were okay. I
just can't see them going very far, but but they
did have a good decent sound I thought Holly
Tucker was really good to make you feel my love
She had a powerful voice Garrett Gardner the
comeback kid Yeah, he came back he picked a good
he probably picked a perfect song for himself
He really did himself a favor by picking that
song. That's probably why he got picked. I I
can't see him going very far, but You know, that's
a good story. Our second of the Latin fusion
here with Monika Boddy. I thought she was maybe
the best of the three, but I kind of go back
and forth between her and the one that we'll
see in, I believe, week three. Huge fan of Taylor
Beckham. I thought she was just very sweet, innocent,
pure, but then had a great rendition of I'm Going
Down. So I like that. Michelle Shamwell. was
freaking adorable and unique and crazy and passionate
and she had a soft side and just the rocker side
but she just looks like someone from Big Bang
Theory or something. She did an amazing job with
I Kissed a Girl so that stood out for me. Patrick
Dodd was another country singer that I thought
has a lot of potential. I'll talk more about
him a little bit later. Savannah Berry, cute
little girl with a huge voice. There's quite
a few of them though, so I don't know how they'll
stack up against each other. There's a lot of
those younger, smaller girls that have some decent
voices. So we'll see how that goes. Brennan Rush,
decent sound. Again, I think he's kind of like
Garrett Gardner. He picked the right song. I
don't know how many other songs they could do
well, but we will wait and see. And Audrey Karash
with Price Tag stood out for me a little bit.
That was awesome. And Orlando Dixon can go home.
I think him and Vito are basically the same person
and talk more about that later. Yeah. For me,
I don't know. I find it interesting that Blake
has two duos this year. Yeah, that is kind of
crazy. That has never happened before in the
four -year history Karina Iglesias, I don't mind
her singing voice but again, it's one of those
things where I just don't like I thought she
really belted the the Melissa Ether song out
of the park, but I Don't really care for her
her speaking voice Or in stone it's gonna be
interesting to see what Adam does with them it's
gonna be interesting to see if In the in the
in the in the battles if Blake steals him I bet
you that's what's I bet you that's the angle
that they're gonna go for every country artist
of Adams that doesn't Get saved Blake'll steal
them As far as the Swan brothers, I like them
better than might as well, you know, they They
sound a lot better. They had that fun -loving
personality that Midas Whale does, but they're
not obnoxious with it. But again, this competition
has never really so far been made for duos. Holly
Tucker, I absolutely love that. I thought that
was great. And I'm so glad Garrett came back.
I was like, last year in season three, I was
like, come on, somebody push a button, damn it.
And I'm so glad he came back. And yeah, you're
right. Seven Nation Army was the perfect choice
for him to be able to land a team. And I absolutely
love it. What I find really funny about some
of the comebacks, at least with the new coaches,
Shakira said, oh, I saw you last year and I would
have pushed my button then. And that had to have
been scripted. Oh, seriously. I know a lot of
musicians pay attention to the music world and
all these musical competitions and stuff, but
you're seriously telling me that she caught,
whether she watched it live or whether she saw
it on The Voice's YouTube channel, she caught
his performance and that had to be a scripted
line. Yeah, it's hard to say on some of those.
It's hard to know what you can believe and what
you can't believe. Monique, I like her as well.
It's going to be interesting to see what else
she does sing. Taylor, same thing. For me, it's
all about the song. It depends on what song it
is. It has nothing to do with, oh, I think their
personality is shit. It has nothing to do with
that. Because the whole point is you have to,
just like the judges do, you have to judge by
the voice and their talent. And I like her and
I want to see what else she can do. um with michelle
chamuel that was a really really interesting
take on like she belted that out of the park
and the funny thing is is it always surprises
me with with singers like where they come from
Compared to how they sing because she is from
Boston and she has this really really thick pocket
car and have a yard and I can do it because I'm
originally from Boston but she has this really
really thick Boston accent, but yet she sings
like She is just she has no accent whatsoever.
Mm -hmm and then the second part of of week two
Patrick Dodd for me It's between him and I think
I'm trying to think who Between him and one other
that I think could be the Terry McDermott of
this season Yeah, it depends on what he sings.
I know Patrick is not a a full -on rocker but
he has that rock kind of mentality like rock
country kind of mentality and That's probably
the best performance of walking to Memphis. I've
heard since since Mark Collins version of it
so I like him and Gina or Ijana whatever the
hell her stupid name is I don't care Trevor Davis
I liked him he was cool I don't know how far
he's gonna get though yeah because he almost
sounded just like Andy Grammer singing that song
Savannah Barry again, I agree with you. There
way too many young people in this in in it this
year Brandon Roush, I liked it. I thought it
was cool. It's a you know Again, it could be
He might get past one or two battle rounds, but
I don't know if he's gonna get to the knockouts
See Perkins didn't really I don't know it was
all right And then like you said Audrey she was
great. She was and that song I Know why she chose
that song because of of her story and how you
know how she came to be on the voice And I understand
that and I think that's great. I like it when
they do that. I like how they choose the songs
that fit their situations just Hey I'm some guy
who wants to impress usher, so I'm gonna sing
boyfriend for him Yeah, and I and I agree with
you Orlando Dixon just needs to go home Glad
we're in agreement on that one. Yeah All right
week three Same thing. This is the final week
Same thing here. I did all the ones that didn't
did not make a team I just didn't care. One of
the ones that really pissed me off was Matt Kramansky
or Tremansky or whatever the stupid hell his
name is. He sang Katy Perry's Teenage Dream.
There are certain songs that a female sings.
Right. There are certain songs that a female
singer is saying like, you know, a Katy Perry
song or, you know, an Adele song or whatever.
There are certain songs that are from female
artists that male artists can go ahead and cover
and it would sound great. This was not that at
all and I was like, oh God, please somebody make
it stop. What did you think of the final week?
You know, there were some good ones that stood
out. I thought Sasha Allen had some potential
there. um with not ready to make nice from the
dixie chicks i thought it was a cool version
of a country song um so i like that i thought
caroline glazer was amazing with tiny dancer
again another one of those younger smaller little
girls that just kind of is unassuming and you
know sweet and innocent so we'll see what happens
with them um grace ask you i wanted to like her
but she she did too many weird things with her
voice for me um Some of it's natural but some
of it was forced so I just couldn't quite make
a determination on her I thought Shana P had
the experience and you know that veteran aspect
to her and I thought she could go far Just because
she has a good stage presence and knows how to
control her own voice and whatnot Mary Miranda
again the third of the Latin infused girls there.
It's between her and The redhead for which one
I like the best I think Katya, unfortunately,
can't compete with those two. Jeff Lewis, I thought
was fantastic. Between him and Josiah, it's real
tough, one doing the Maroon 5 and one doing the
Usher song. But they both had really cool takes
on it, so I like that. I thought Ryan Innes,
however you said it, I keep saying Scott Innes
from Scooby -Doo. His version of Gravity was
better than John Mayer's. John Mayer sucks. So
it was a good choice of song there. But he was
instantly recognizable and good, so I liked him.
Amber Carrington. I wanted to like her more than
I did. She did good. There's something about
her that doesn't set well with me, but I don't
know what it is. It just doesn't quite click.
But I'm not saying she has a bad voice. Jackie
Sandel had a great voice. look at your honor
ed edgeman however you say his name he was decent
but he can't compete with some of the other guys
in that genre that are in the competition i think
no not at all and that's good so this is just
a qt uh... i don't know what to expect from her
she can either go really far or she'll get annihilated
and eaten up and spit out but she definitely
has potential thought it was interesting that
she did a bruno mars song too yeah i'm surprised
you didn't see anything about the sheriff i'm
a huge country fan and i'm not a fan of his okay
well i liked him i thought it was good but again
it's one of those things where these are blind
auditions they only get to sing one song for
ninety seconds so we have to and that's one of
the reasons that's one of the reasons why i almost
don't like part of the process for the voice
i get it i i like the show overall but you know
you take last year with uh... two steel girls
they got one song They get well they got two
songs, but because they got eliminated in the
battles That that song their version of that
song never came out So it was like yeah sure
I can go listen to their their original stuff
and like them for that But how am I supposed
to know on a TV? You know competition whether
I'm gonna like him or not if I've only heard
one song over and over again, so Michael Austin
I liked it. I thought it was interesting like
you said with Sasha Allen that was very unique
way to to bring in soul into a country song I
liked Amy Whitcomb I think she's again again
it's one of those things where you have to wait
and see but yeah I'm not judging any of the ones
that we couldn't see the full performance yeah
well some of these I did go back and listen the
previews on iTunes so I agree with you, Caroline
Glaser, she did an amazing job with Tiny Dancer.
Justin Rivers, no. Grace, I liked it, I thought
it was interesting, but like you said, she did
a few too many weird things with her voice, and
it's gonna depend on what other song she's gonna
sing. Sean P. just knocked it out of the park.
I can see her singing a Melissa Etheridge tune
the way her voice is. Mary Miranda, are we sure
she's not American because she has two American
names? But anyway, that's one of the ones where
it's only because I it's only because I saw the
Jennifer Lopez Selena film that I even know that
song. So it doesn't even matter that it's not
in English. I still knew it from when Jennifer
Lopez sang it as Selena. She's cute. She could
go a little bit. I don't think that... I think
like you said, it's going to come down between
her and Monique. Katya has no chance. No. No
chance at all. Hell will freeze over before that
happens. Jeff Lewis, again. There have been people
in the past on The Voice that have sung coaches
songs or artists that they know songs and some
people do well and some people don't. He's one
of the ones that pretty much knocked it out of
the park and what I love about watching this
show when someone sings one of the coaches songs
they just all of a sudden perk up and it's like
Hmm, and you can see that with us you're doing
that with him. He's like hmm. Hmm. I don't know,
you know, right? I thought that was great Ryan
in us. I liked him. I thought his performance
of gravity was absolutely amazing Emmer Carrington
and good girl it to me It depends on on who's
singing good girl Like, the first time I heard
that was last year with Adriana Louise. And partially
the reason why I love it now is because of what
she did at the end of that performance to Adam.
But Amber did a good job. You know, it's one
of those things where I can't place if there's
something that just isn't quite right about her
vocals but... Do I did like what I hear I didn't
hear any mistakes in it And then Jackie Jackie
was great like I did this is what I like I like
that people come on and pick songs that aren't
today's You know most popular You know dumbass
music songs. Yeah And then you get Luke Edgman
no, thanks don't care And then Jessica Childers,
she was amazing too. She was great. What did
you think of, we didn't talk about this in the
beginning, but night one, week one, when the
show came back, what did you think of the coach's
performance of Come Together? Oh, that was good.
Yeah, I thought that was awesome. I love when
they do, I wish they would do that like... Once
per round like yeah, that'd be cool editions
episode one is the first episode of the new season
Do it before the battles do it like like I know
that once we get to live performances. I'm sure
Blake will be sick because Blake just had a new
album come out. I'm sure That he'll be singing
some of his songs or whatever else, but I wish
that they would do those You know covers with
the coaches a little bit more. Yeah To intro
the shows. I agree and the more stuff they do
like that. Those are always fun. So Overall out
of all three weeks of the blind auditions. What's
your overall impression of this year's? Just
the whole process of the blinds this year. Um,
I liked it I kind of missed see I I think they've
missed opportunities, which they never do They
did it a little bit in the first season and then
a little bit less in season two, but where they
Literally, I wish they would do it where occasionally
maybe like every two or three times an episode
Where all you got to see was the coaches? And
you didn't ever get to see the person And you
literally got to sit like you were as a coach
without seeing the person you don't get to hear
their backstory or if you do hear their backstory,
they don't actually show the person and they
just say their backstory and then they walk out,
you have no idea what they look like, they sing
and all you get to do is see from the coach's
perspective. They used to try to do it, but they
never quite did it right and now they completely
abandon it this year. But I think that would
just be cool for everyone to see it through the
eyes of the coaches without actually getting
to see the person. So then when they turn around,
it's just as much of a surprise for you as it
is at the coach. Yeah, I wish they would do that
but other than that You know, I'd like to hear
a few more of the people that don't make it Just
because it seems I know they they have so many
people that make it So they can really only they
didn't even get to show us all of those people
So they've kind of skip over the ones that don't
make it But I could easily deal with just a whole
nother week of programming where they could squeeze
in a few more Of the people that don't get picked
and all the people that do get picked Yeah, and
you you gotta think even with commercials Even
with commercials and and this and what's funny
about season four is they did they changed everything
this year They season three season three was
on the like almost right on the heels of season
two season three basically broke the mold because
season three was BAM three hour Monday night
two hour Tuesday night one hour Wednesday. It
was like it was like five hours of programming
that week or six hours actually and Then because
what happened was last year they had 16 members
per team So they had a total of 64 team members
You know whoever made a team last year this year.
They cut it back to 12 per team and I don't Don't
like that because it goes to the whole thing
of what you just said you get to see more talent
Well, you don't get to do that this year because
they cut the team number down from 16 to 12 now
I Don't know. All right, let's break down the
teams themselves team Adam Who don't you like
from team Adam? Um, let me look it up real quick
here get the image going The people from team
Adam that I don't really care too much for well,
there's a couple people that we didn't get to
see on that team Gina Alvarez, I don't remember
her enough. I know we didn't get to see Duncan
Kamikana But I did not from the little clip that
I saw care for him too much I don't like Karina
Iglesias I don't see Midas will go in that far
I didn't get to see Amy Whitcomb, but she looked
like she had some potential So I mean out of
that team the ones that I like the most probably
I mean Patrick Dodd and Warren Stone are good
I think Sarah Simmons and Sasha Allen have potential
Judith Hill had potential and like I said, I'm
kind of undecided on Amber Carrington I do won't
think that he has the weakest team in the whole
group Um, yeah for me, I'm pretty much on board
with you. I pretty much like everybody that that
you mentioned and Because I did go back and I
listened on iTunes to Amy's version of the song
that she sung and that's that's one of the things
listeners if you go on to iTunes like five hours
before the broadcast You can actually listen
to like is obviously it's as I said before all
of these performances and battles and whatever
else there, at least with the blinds, they're
taped. So they're already done. And I've gone
on to iTunes on a Monday afternoon before the
show and like, oh, the new songs are up, yay.
But in Amy's case, I had to go back because I
didn't want to just do... Just write up the blog
and just say oh, yeah, she got kind of short
-changed I didn't want to do that I wanted to
go back and I want to listen the song and I didn't
I like her Gina she's not gonna last Might as
well again. This is not a competition for duos
and they're probably the worst duo out of all
three duos this year Patrick Dodd he's he's gonna
go pretty far Depending on at least I hope he
does depending on what What they have him saying
and who they have him facing in the battles All
right, so what about team Blake On team Blake
he has an interesting team like he said before
with the amount of country and then he always
seems to find You know the the younger female
talent to be a part of his squad So it's definitely
an interesting mixture. As far as people that
I didn't care for on his team, excuse me. I don't
know if there's anyone I really, let me think
here for a second. There was no one that I hated
on his team. Like I said, Grace asked you kind
of rubbed me the wrong way. Just a little bit
because I thought she forced some things Who
was the other kid there we did we not get to
see I'm trying to remember what Christian Porter
did Christian Porter did sexy and I know that
was okay But I think he gets overshadowed by
a couple of the other guys that came later We
didn't get to see Justin Rivers is who Justin
and Michelle Raitson or whatever her name is
and Trevor Davis. So there's three people on
his team that we didn't even get to see. So that's
kind of hard. I thought Jackie Sandel had some
potential. I thought Holly Tucker had a real
strong voice. He has the two duos with Morgan
Twins and the Swan Brothers, so it'll be interesting
to see where they go with that. But to me, the
highlight of his team is the three young girls
there. Caroline Glazer, Daniel Bradbury, and
Savannah Barry. It'll be interesting to see what
happens with the three of them. Yeah, for me
on Blake's team, it's... I like the two duos,
but again, it's... It's tough. I mean, the duos
that they had last year didn't last very long.
My one complaint about Blake so far since I've
been watching him on The Voices... He's a country
artist who whittles his country team down to
the point where he has no country artists left.
like you need to have the last two last year
okay and i know what i was really trying to talk
about season four but to the last year he had
grace here uh... grisha harrison and two still
girls and who else uh... there's one or two other
ones and slight he picked grisha over them all
it was davis that that was a look at her this
year uh... you know was made it to the top twenty
and that's all in good but it's like Know these
coaches want to win, but it would be nice if
they won with an artist of their own genre You
know yeah, if they try to mold that and I'm not
saying to play favorites I'm saying like try
to mold that that genre as far as that goes Blake's
team I pretty much like everybody there's a like
you said there's three on there that we didn't
really see more of Even though I did go back
and listen to songs Justin Rivers No it wasn't
as again it's it goes to song choice and i know
certain things happen where you know someone
may pick a song for you and you're like yeah
i don't know that song that actually happened
and i think it was season two or season three
i don't know anyway all right moving on to shakira's
team this team is is interesting yeah this team
to me you got you got a wide range of genres
here um You got the country with Shawna P and
Tanya Reynolds. I think both of them are very
strong country singers. You have the three, the
triple Latin threat there with Katia, Mary, Miranda
and Monique. I think it's down to Monique and
Mary as far as which one is the best. Um, you
know, Mark Andrew is going to overshadow Luke
Edgemont, I think a little bit. Uh, you got Brandon
Roshan, Gear Gardner, which are kind of the same
vibe. And then you've got, uh, C. Perkins, Jason
and Chris Thomas as far as R and B. And I think
Chris Thomas will dominate those other two. I
don't know. I don't know if you have a winner
here I can't picture any of these people winning
Yeah, but that's not saying that's a bad team.
I Could picture Sean or Tonya winning depending
on the songs and depending on who they face I
just can't see them when it gets down to the
top of the top. Maybe Sean if she gets a real
fan following I think it's a good team. I think
a lot of these people have talent, but I just
don't see a winner here Like I can with Blake's
team As much, I don't know. Yeah, I'm the same
way. Like, I want to see as much as I can from
Garrett, because I think he does have a really,
really cool voice. And the rest of her team looks
great. There's like, you know, Chris Thomas,
it's going to depend on what he sings for me,
but I don't dislike him. The other two, I don't
care for at all. Jason and whoever. Yeah, I agree.
Perkins. And what is up with these people? Okay,
sure. I get nicknames. I have a nickname. You
have a nickname. But like, why would you just
use your first initial and your last name if
that's even your last name? You got a birth certificate
that was stated in Ohio? Oh, sorry. Wrong. Wrong
thing. Moving on to Usher's team, what are your
opinions? Usher did a great job, actually. I
think, again, he's got a lot of variety, and
he's got a lot of really good people. He has
definitely some people in here that I can see
winning. You know, we didn't get to see Chelsea
M, but the clip that I did get to see, I liked.
So I'm still kind of hopeful for her. He also
has... Jamila Thompson, which we didn't get to
see. So those two are kind of unknowns. I like
Outer Crash. Jessica Childress, I already said
I like her voice. She's kind of unassuming Taylor
Beckham is one of my favorites. Michelle Shamwell
is so unique Josiah Holly and Jeff Lewis, I thought
he got the two best as far as that type of singer
goes That we saw Ryan Inns has a lot of potential
I don't think Orlando Dixon and Vito are that
strong, but maybe they'll surprise us. The only
really person I can't stand out of this group
is Jess Kellner. Why didn't you like her? I just
didn't like it as much. For me, it was kind of
the similar reasons as to why I didn't like Grace
Askew. Something just didn't quite feel right
to me. I'm not saying she's not talented, she
has a good voice and whatnot. It was just a weird
voice in the Elvis song. It just didn't work
for me. But I don't think there's very many weak
links in this team. This is one of the stronger
teams. Yeah. What do you think I think usher
has built a really unique team I don't see Vito
or Orlando moving past very for very far at all
Just They just don't have it Jess might be able
to as long as she you know as long as usher picks
songs for her that that match her voice. Like
you were saying, even though I liked her performance,
the Elvis song didn't really... The song in general,
and not necessarily her performing it, just doesn't
really, like... Do anything for you? Yeah, it
doesn't really do anything for me at all. The
rest of his team is pretty well put together.
I'm really interested to see what else Audrey
does, and we'll see. you know step see so something
new i did this year with my my reviewing her
blogging of of the voice season four is i'd is
i'd decided to make my own damn team of twelve
five is a kind of them you know her teams are
going to see how we do and we're gonna battle
it out uh... we have not seen each other well
i just did i just saw your team but and okay
but Have not seen Kevin's team will pretend he
has not seen mine Because I did as we're recording
this the post for my for the for my reviewing
the teams just went up so We each picked teams
of 12 following what the show does Who is your
first team member that you pushed a button for?
I'm gonna go from I kind of have them ranked
Okay, so I'm gonna go for my from my worst one
first here This is a tough one because it's it's
really down to two people here that I'm real
close to Deciding Who I would like out of it
I'm gonna go with Monique Abadi for my first
one I had to pick one of the Latin girls and
she Barely sneaks past Mary Miranda, so I pushed
a button for Monique My first button push was
for the Morgan twins. They just have such a unique
voice and if they keep dressing in that skimpy
clothing, well, that makes for good television.
But no, seriously, I think that, as I said before,
with their being identical twins and having that
twin connection, and I swear, there were times
in that song that they sang That their voices
sounded as like it was a singular voice. It was
these like you've seen and you've heard duets
before usually tell who is who like, you know,
you can usually tell who is who like for me the
biggest thing is if if Darrell Hall and John
Oates are doing a duet on anything or if they're
you know collaborating on anything like they
used to do in the old days I always know which
voice is which. With the Morgan twins, there
were times in that performance I couldn't tell.
Yeah, I agree. At all. And so they were the first
one I pushed my button for. What about you? What's
your next team member? My second button push
came from Ryan Inns with his Gravity. I kind
of love the big bearded guy. He just had a nice
presence and I thought he did a good job with
that song. And I think there was no one else
quite like him that I saw on any team. So he
kind of has that type of genre music kind of
cornered. So if people like that type, he's going
to go far. I don't think that he has a lot of
competition with that exact style. Yeah, I agree.
For my second choice, I did pick Michael Austin.
I thought that... thought he has a good country
twang to his voice I thought that like he almost
I know this might be blasphemy to some country
fans but to me he almost had that same sound
that Brooks and Dunhead when they first came
out like that's what I thought of immediately
when he first started singing I like him he's
cool I do I think he's gonna go very far I Don't
know. I'm not sure again. It depends on If they
are going to be able to you know Kind of coach
the country artists a little bit more than they
have in the past number three for you Again I
had two guys that were neck -and -neck that I
can't couldn't decide which way to go So I kind
of had him tied but now seeing your team To avoid
The overlap I'm gonna let you have the one and
I'll go with the other one And I'm gonna go with
Warren Stone He's saying colder weather. He's
a country guy He was really good. And honestly,
I'm so torn between him and Patrick Dodd. I loved
both of them But I will go with Warren Stone
on my team and I will let you have your way with
the other guy I would have picked Warren, but
and I loved his rendition of colder weather But
like he's one of those artists where I don't
know Like I don't know what to expect from him
in the future and it's like, you know It's kind
of like sure. I like this person now But will
I like them when they sing three or four songs
from now if they get that far, right? So my third
button was for who I am deeming the Terry McDermott
of season four, Patrick Dodd. Dude just knocked
it out. Anyone that's been that long in Nashville,
you know, at the grindstone like that for his,
that's the other reason why. He reminds me of
Terry from season three is because he's doing
it for the whole family thing and his daughters
and his wife and all this all that same thing.
Terry had, you know, last year with his wife
and his son. So, um, yeah, Patrick did an amazing
job on walking to Memphis and I'm just hoping
that, that, that Adam will pair him up with someone
that. He can beat We'll talk about that a little
bit later because I have opinions about that
What about your fourth team member my fourth
one? She kind of sneaks in there I had a real
close to a bunch of the other people that I didn't
go with It was Audrey crash the one that sang
price tag Something about her just seemed cool
You know I liked watching the judges singing
along with her and the fact that they she got
them to do that was cool I don't know if she
can go that far, but I wanted to pick her on
my team. Yeah, you know, I, again, I didn't pick,
I picked the ones that I would, you know, want
to be able to, you know, coach and just like,
I'm no musical genius. I mean, hell, I listen
to Nickelback all the time. Everybody hates me
for that. But, you know, I like her. I think
she's going to be interesting. I think it's going
to be funny to find out who the powerhouses are.
out of the single white female singers. And the
same thing with the African American female singers
as well. It's going to be interesting to see
how much diva slash soul is going to come out
of them. For me, number four epic, Sarah Simmons.
I thought she had a good voice. Yeah, she has
a good voice. She's got a great look. The voice
on her, it's like. That was the I think the first
time since that song came out And I actually
wanted to listen to that's like the like I okay
I know I know what Joan Osborne was going for
I'm sorry that song was so played to death in
the 90s that I just got to the point where I
am so sick of this shit But and that's one of
the things I love about the voice is that there
are these you know Whether they because the voice
isn't just about finding new talent and undiscovered.
Well, it is it's Not just about people that no
one's ever heard about before but it's people
that Maybe have been it, you know been at it
for a while But haven't got a professional gig
or whatever, you know, it's not just about finding
new talent It's about finding, you know talent
from every every port in a storm and with her
singing that song it was the first time I had
heard that song that It actually meant something
to me versus just hearing it over and over and
over and over again on the radio 20 years ago
or 15 years ago, whatever, however long. All
right, number five. The little brunette girl
with the big voice, Savannah Barry. I don't know.
I just thought there was potential there. I want
to see more, so I'd be interested in coaching
her and trying to see what you could bring out
of that girl. Yeah. My number five was Garrett
Gardner. I gotta see what other rock songs he's
gonna do. I just think for him it's all about
song choice and as soon as he chooses wrong he's
gonna be exposed. Yeah that's yeah that's gonna
be the problem. You know he does have people
that know him from last year so that might help
him. Yeah that's true, like me. Vote, vote, vote.
What about your six songs? My six and seven were
neck and neck. I was going to decide if I was
originally just going to pick one of them, since
they're somewhat similar, but then I ended up
picking both of them. just because I couldn't
decide between the two of them. The first one
I'll talk about it would be Josiah Hawley, the
guy that did the Adam Levine Maroon 5 song. I
just think he did a good job with that and I
think he's a good looking kid that a lot of people
can get. He has like a nice groove to him and
I think he has a lot of different things that
he could probably sing. So we'll see how he does
there. I'm taking a big chance though because...
I'm taking a chance with some of mine because
I think they're gonna battle each other in the
first round. Yeah, Josiah Holly is my number
six choice. For number six, I pick the Swan Brothers.
You know, I think they're interesting. It's gonna
depend on what they sing, but you know, if they...
It's gonna be interesting to see what they do
and what might as well does as far as duos because
they're both kind of country. And I know Montezuela's
like, oh, we're bluegrass or we're this or we're
that or we're whatever. But I think it's going
to be interesting to see if the Swan Brothers
try to tackle any kind of Brooks and Don or any
kind of major country duo songs. It's going to
be interesting for them. All right, sir. Seven.
What's your seven? Well, like I said, it was
real close between six and seven, and the seventh
one is Jeff Lewis. He sang the Usher song. Again,
I just thought it was a unique take on it. I
thought it was creative. I thought it showed
some of his artistry. So it'll be interesting
to see what he does. Like I said, I have a bad
feeling that he and my number six are going to
go against each other in the first round, but
I had to pick them both just so I can have whoever
wins that battle. I didn't want to pick one and
have the loser of the battle. for me number seven
is Jackie Sandell she that song dreams oh my
god and it's it's so nice hearing that song just
from a female perspective yeah as anyone older
than 27 knows Fleetwood Mac is you know mostly
male with Stevie Nicks every now and then, you
know, so it's like, it's so nice hearing that
song with just a female influence versus hearing
it with some male influence in it. And she's
got a damn good voice. Yep. She was on my list
of just missed. I'm glad she picked her. Number
eight? I don't know. We only have one because
I obviously like I said you that you can't see
my list But you just posted yours so I can see
yours and then we do have one that's on both
of our lists Is that allowed or should I pick
somebody else? I don't care Can we both have
one person? Oh, wait, no, we can't know we can
because that's not yeah, you need to pick somebody
else Shoot I don't even know who I would pick
then instead of this person uh... don't knock
him off in the first round that just think we
don't know i have someone that's not on your
list because i had two people this person on
your list and my number thirteen would have been
on your list so i'll go down to my number fourteen
pick uh... which is jessica children's uh...
she to me is like an unknown factor She was so
sweet and nice and bubbly and happy, but I think
there's more to her. And she has a voice that
can kill. So I have no idea what's going to happen
with her, but I think she's got potential. So
I'll pick Jessica Childress. Technically would
have been my last pick, but we'll list her now
with my eighth pick. For me, number eight is
Brandon Rausch. I thought that... Even though
he and Patrick sounds, you know have similar
styles. I think if they were to ever Do like
if the two of them ever got to the knockouts
And it had come it would come down to the two
of them Obviously, I would pick Patrick over
Brandon, but Brandon's song, you know the Beatles
song I thought that was great, you know, I just
thought it was an amazing performance Number
nine number nine would be Chris Porter I know
you weren't a big fan of his. I don't dislike
him. He's no, like, ooh, Vito. No, he's better
than all them. He just fascinates me because
he has this high, high voice. Yeah. With the
right coaching and the right song selection,
nobody can do what he can do. Right. So it's
all up to him whether he captures that or not.
Um, so I just I'm just too intrigued by him not
to pick him He's probably the best r &b guy in
the show though Yeah, your number nine would
have been my number 13 I'm so close to picking
your Shana pay. Yeah she like She, to me, like
I said earlier, if she sang like a Melissa Etheridge
song or if she sings more of the Southern rock
songs, she's going to take this competition by
storm. She's got the experience and the presence.
Yeah, she does. And she knows like, you know,
like last year, they were always telling people
about, oh, you have to be mindful of your stage
presence and you have to, you know, make sure
you don't tip the microphone stand over and stuff
like that. She doesn't need any of that kind
of instruction because she's been doing it so
long, right? No, that's definitely true Number
ten. All right. My number ten is Caroline Glaser
the one that sang Tiny Dancer She just for me
was awesome So I can't wait to see what happens
with her she just kind of had that Like she's
the type of person to me that could almost sing
like an unplugged type song You know without
much of the band behind her without much music
or anything and and just can capture you with
that voice So I'm interested to see what happens
with her. She's probably my third favorite person
on this whole show Alright for me number 10 is
Tonya Reynolds Yeah, she to me was one of my
favorite country people that I didn't pick Between
her and Shana P. They're so close and I couldn't
decide neither one of them made my team, but
I like them both a lot. Yeah, she's It's gonna
be interesting to see what what she does. It's
gonna be It's so did like between last year and
this year. It's so different because I don't
know and I know The reason why, for me, it's
so different is because of the reduction in the
teams. Like, blind auditions last year weren't
three weeks. They were six weeks, or they were
five weeks, or they were obviously longer. So
last year, I got to the point where I like four
members on each team, or I like five members
from this team, five members. You know what I
mean? I got to be able to pick more and whittle
out more. This year, they're cutting it so very
close. And it's going to depend on, again, it's
I know we keep saying this, but it's just going
to depend on what they give each artist. And
her strength obviously is in the country tunes.
And it's going to be interesting to see who she's
going to go up against. No, I agree. And if she
gets stolen, that's the other thing. We're not
really factoring into our list. I want to steal
a couple from you. Wrong number 11 another one.
I'm like I'm like Blake. I'm picking all these
young girls here Taylor Beckham her rendition
of I'm going down and The presence she had for
such a young girl and really having no experience
much doing this I think the you know, the sky's
the limit for her. So Taylor Beckham would be
my second to last choice here Yeah, I almost
thought that dumb Some old dude was gonna come
out kicking a soccer ball on stage. Yeah. Oh
my Number 11 is Michelle Chamuel First of all,
she's from Boston. So there's that but like we
said before she did a kick -ass version of I
kissed a girl and it goes to show you that other
people singing famous songs Sometimes is so much
better because like I don't I don't think I have
ever listened to any of Katie's stuff at all
like outside of other people on the voice doing
it I have not heard any of her her songs like
I've heard them in past like but I haven't like
Downloaded any Katy Perry. I just don't Yeah,
she would be the one that would be on my team
if she was nine years Yeah, I had her on my team
for sure. She's the only one that we do. We both
had So I forfeited her so that we would not have
any duplicates So if she wins, I had her on my
team, too My number one pick By far the one that
blew me away more than anybody on the show so
far would be Danielle Bradbury I think she's
got a phenomenal potential as a country young
country star Again, I could be wrong. We'll see
what happens in these next rounds, but she just
blew me away out of all the blind auditions She
was the one that stood out the most as this girl
can win but you know, I think she's in the same
class with Taylor Beckham Caroline Glazer and
Savannah Barry and We'll see you out of the four
of them which ones step up to the plate the most
out of those young girls Yeah For me number 12
was Amy Whitcomb as I said, I did go back on
iTunes and listener the the the song that she
had song But again, it's one of those things
where like I said before it's like I know they
only have a certain amount of time But don't
just cuz cuz I as a as a watcher of the voice
I feel cheated when I see a highlight reel of
people that made teams. If you want to do a highlight
reel, take every single person that wasn't going
to make a team, even the full performances that
we saw that didn't make a team, and just do those
as highlights. That way the others that do make
the teams, you know, we can actually see and
judge them. Yeah. Really interesting to see what
Amy does after that. I think we're going to take
a quick break. You're going to hear a couple
of ads and we'll come back with other voice season
four blind edition stuff. We'll be back after
this. Coming to Grand Rapids, Michigan on September

So we are back and we're going to give our own
little preview of the battles and kind of talk
about... I didn't mean to cut you off, but before
we do that, I meant to say this before, but I
think, you know, combined with our two teams,
we have the best of the best for most of them.
The only ones that I would say we might... be
looking to steal later on. In my opinion, the
best ones that we didn't pick on either one of
our teams would be Holly Tucker, who did a cool
version of To Make You Feel My Love, Judith Hill,
the Michael Jackson experience girl, and Sasha
Allen, the black girl that did the country version
of the song. And then out of the ones we didn't
see, I think Chelsea M could be a sleeper. So
those were kind of like the four that May be
wishing we had our teams But I go ahead So here
we're going to give you our Thoughts and kind
of who we would want to see matched up coming
up in the battles. Yes Starting with team Adam.
Well, hold on one second because this episode
is actually going to air the night the battles
start We'll see if any of these are right predictions.
Yeah, so we'll have to see about that after the
battles are done. All right, starting with team
Adam, who do you want to see go against each
other? I mean, I wanted them both on my team.
And I think it's going to be a shame that they're
going to have to go against each other because
obviously one will get eliminated. But I really
see Patrick Dodd and Warren Stone going against
each other. I hope I'm wrong because I want them
both to go on to the next round. But I just really
think that they are the same type of singer that
they can go against each other now obviously
you have the other country singers and Michael
Austin you have Midas Whale and Duncan Kamakana
so they could go against one of those maybe but
I really just have a feeling it's gonna be Patrick
Dodd against Warren Stone and I'm gonna regret
that as far as the girls go I think Judith Hill
versus Sasha Allen is an obvious one Sasha winning,
but I don't know. We'll see maybe I'll be wrong
on that The other ones, I'm not sure how they'll
match up. I'm not sure what he'll do with the
other ones. But, uh, you know, we should be interested
to see. But my biggest prediction there is Patrick
Dodd against Warren Stone, unfortunately. See,
I would have, like, if it was me choosing the
battles, I wouldn't have Warren go against, uh,
Injina or Injina, whatever the hell her name
is, and just get rid of her immediately. Well,
if it was me, if I was the one doing it, I would
make Warren go against, um, Michael Austin No,
I'm serious I would do that just because to see
which one is And then I would let Patrick Dodd
go against like Duncan comic -con because I think
that's an easy Or I would have Warren Stone go
against Duncan so that that way you're still
left with Patrick and Warren if you want them
You know, I don't know who might as well goes
against I don't don't really understand how they
would go against anybody on that list, but If
they're gonna go against anybody, I bet he's
gonna pit them against Austin yeah, I could see
that with probably Austin winning because I'm
sorry might as well first of all The name is
just so stupid Yeah, the girls there are interchangeable
though. I can see any of those girls going against
any of those other girls Yeah, I just for some
reason have a feeling it might be Judith Hill
against Sasha Allen. Yeah All right moving on
to team Blake and do you have the Swan brothers
go against the Morgan twins? That would be very
fun Cool. The duo against the duo. That would
be really cool. I agree. Now there's three people
we didn't see, so I have no idea really what
kind of vibe you get from Trevor Davis, Justin
Rivers, and Michelle. But you do have the young
girls here. You got Caroline Glazer, Daniel Bradbury,
and Savannah Berry. I really hope, I know two
of them are gonna go against each other, and
I really wish they wouldn't. I think Holly Tucker
and Grace Askew would be a good battle. Oh, yeah,
that would be but I'm really torn on this one
unless you have the two duos go against each
other I'm just hoping that maybe Caroline Glaser
goes against Savannah Berry if possible and then
save Daniel Bradbury against somebody else But
I don't know he's got those three people that
we really haven't seen but I think he can really
screw himself in this first round if he picks
his best people to go against each other in the
first round which is often a mistake by the voice
coaches because they look at it and they say
who's the closest to each other or who's singing
the same genre or stuff like that and they put
them against each other and then they lose one
of their better people instead of having their
strong people go against their weak people which
is probably how I would do it yeah it's tough
to say this one I don't really have too many
predictions I have a lot of predictions again
on our next group but not so much like I don't
know what he's gonna do With Blake, I think it
would be really cool to see the two duos go against
each other. Although I Think the Morgan twins
might win out on that Again, it's gonna come
down to song selection. She doesn't that then
the Morgan twins would I would think would have
to go against either grace or Holly Oh, yeah,
most definitely grace versus Holly. That would
be an amazing. Yeah interesting thing cuz cuz
they're there too cuz Again, their two styles
are so like so like Holly is kind of like Tanya
Tucker style and grace is more like a raspy Shania
and It's gonna be interesting to see what yeah,
but I mean Blake might Depending on what what
his battle choices are He might be screwing himself
out of the win this year. Yeah, if he has Glazer
and Bradbury go against each other in the first
round, that is a mistake. Yes. All right. Moving
on to team I can't talk in English. Oh, I'm sorry.
Team Shakira. To me, this one, there are some
easy matchups that you would be picking here.
I think Brandon Rausch and Garrett Gardner go
against each other in the first round. I just
think that makes sense to me. Obviously you're
gonna to me if she's smart she has two of the
Latin girls go against each other It'd be better
if they could all three go against each other
But I would definitely put Katya against either
Monique or Mary Or I guess you could do Mary
against Monique, but I think that's kind of a
risky thing to do It should be Monique versus
Katya You don't want to have Mary and Monique
go against each other and then have Katya be
somehow go on because she doesn't face one of
the better ones But to me, the most obvious match
up here is Shauna P. against Tonya Reynolds.
Oh, God, yes. I mean, unfortunately, that is
losing one of your better ones. Oh, yes. But
I think it's something you have to do. And the
other one would be Mark Andrew against Luke Edgman.
With Mark winning. Mark winning. And then I would
put Chris Thomas against both C. Perkins and
Jason. Because otherwise, one of the Latin girls
has to go against one of those guys. Yeah. So
but I mean, yeah, I think Shauna P and Tanya
won't I'd put money that that's gonna be a matchup
Yeah, it might be see for me if I was breaking
it down. I wouldn't have them face each other
I wouldn't either but I think that's I wouldn't
at all. I would have Shauna go up against Here's
the thing last year I know I know I keep bringing
up season three, but I have to last year I love
Benji's version of knocking on heaven's door
Mark's version is good. It's That song to me
is a rock song. It's not a slow country type
of Song and that's kind of like he kind of sang
it slower. Here's what I would do and I would
put Shauna against him see that's I would put
Shauna against Mark Yeah, because then you can
save Shauna. I would put Tanya against Luke Yeah,
honestly, I would do that I would still put Brandon
against Garrett just to see which one can rise
to the occasion and that such right now I would
put Monique against Katya. Yeah, and I would
actually put Chris Thomas Against one of the
R &B guys and Mary Miranda against the other
one Yeah, because then they could both win I
don't I didn't see see Perkins and Jason to see
which one would go with which one because I think
that's a smart way to coach because then you
Put your your best six With the best chance of
moving on right? None of the coaches do that
Yeah, sadly, no All right moving on to team usher
got two predictions that I would bet my house
on Orlando Dixon against veto You know which
one can beat the other one because neither one's
gonna be around for long and unfortunately Unfortunately,
unfortunately, I hope I'm wrong here, but Josiah
against Jeff pick them both on my team I think
they both deserve it but I think that he will
throw them against each other and that's gonna
break my heart otherwise I am torn I don't know
what he'll do I mean I guess that you might put
Jamila and Jessica against each other yeah I
don't know who Ryan goes against Ryan would have
to go against unless he goes crazy and puts him
against Michelle I don't think he'll do that
Ryan would Ryan would probably have to go against
Jess with Jess sadly losing But I think that
it's gonna be Here's how I would do it. I would
do Audrey versus Jamila with Jamila losing I
could see else Taylor Yeah, you put Chelsea yeah
Chelsea against Taylor Ryan against veto just
to get rid of that fool Jeff against Orlando
again Jeff's voice would so Outweigh that and
then you get of course the way I'm breaking this
down is you got problems with yeah You know Taylor
against Jessica or Josiah against machine his
team is gonna be the hardest to figure out like
who He will put veto against Orlando. I'm sure
of it Yeah, probably. Yeah. The only one I don't
really have a clue who he'd put against, I don't
know who he would put Michelle against. I have
a feeling it would be Audrey or Jess, but I don't
really know. Yeah. Like I said, it's going to
be interesting nonetheless just to see and I
just, I love watching this show. This show is
like... This is when it gets real interesting
like I love the blinds I love seeing people and
whatnot but it's the battle rounds where you
learn about people and it's about where someone
makes someone else just looks silly or that shine
and this is where you Decide who you like for
sure. Oh, yeah, most definitely battle rounds
are awesome. Yeah, most definitely And like I
said before, I think they're gonna play into
the dynamic of Adam and Blake and whatever country
artist on Adam's team doesn't get saved in the
battle, Blake will steal them. I guarantee you.
You think so? Yeah, I guarantee you that Blake
will steal Warren Stone. Yeah, it'll be interesting
to see because that's that's the other danger
that happens when you put two of your best together
You know if you put Like I said with a couple
of those like if you put a Tonya Reynolds against
Ashana P the loser gets stolen Yeah, if you put
Patrick Dodd against Warren Stone the loser might
get stolen and the same with Jeff Lewis and Josiah
Hawley So I just think it'll be interesting to
see well, you know exactly how they do that Yep
So anything else you want to say about blinds
and teams or anything like that? I'm good All
right. Well That's it for the first the voice
