About this Episode

The hosts break down recent episodes of the reality series Toy Hunter and Collection Intervention. They critique the expert credibility of Jordan Hembrough on Toy Hunter, specifically his recent focus on common toys and his haggling methods. The discussion moves to Collection Intervention, where the hosts express frustration with the show's format, the host's therapy techniques, and the behavior of the collectors featured in the episode regarding their financial and hoarding habits.

Starscream here, and I am the lord and master

of the Geekcast Radio Network. Don't tell Megatron.

Starscream here and when Megatron isn't around

I like watching video reviews from up to bottom

us Did I say that right? Where's my check? This

is the team bottom us our we are rebranding to

be named the team bottom us our we are going

to be more focused and we're gonna make sure

Paul actually promotes the damn show so more

people will listen to it because When he made

a post on the Facebook page of does anybody know

about the podcast I do no I never knew about

that yet I have posted every single episode on

the fan page since its inception so we are stepping

away from just the variety discussion version

we're actually going to do something that Started

over on toy cast and we're gonna move it over

here where We bring reality to the toy reality

television shows between Collection Intervention

and Toy Hunter. There's a lot of rage in the

fandom, apparently, because of these shows. And

with me, of course, is Slime Blower Bob. Hello.

Hello, everyone. And returning is Darth Divious.

Hello. Greetings and salutations. Yes, let's

hope storms don't screw this up and I am of course

TFG1 Mike Paul would have been here, but He's

stuck in area 51 .1, I guess Yeah, apparently

Johnny tests sisters kidnapped him Something

like that. But yeah, we're gonna talk about the

latest episodes of collection intervention and

toy hunter Since this is Kevin's first time back.

What is your initial impression of these shows?

toy hunter I Had to laugh at that guy. He's he

doesn't know as much as he think he knows Basically,

he's just there to try and cut a deal with people

so he can resell the stuff He some of the toys

he just looks at and goes oh my god, it's this

oh my god It's that and I heard so much about

him picking up the Bumblejumper from a lot of

my friends a couple episodes ago and I'm just

like Are you kidding me? Even I know what that

is Yeah, as far as collectors intervention. I

told you the other day on Twitter five minutes

into the show I wanted to punch that woman The

Star Wars chick or the chick that hosts the show

the chick that hosts the show At least she's

all right. She's hot. She's a hot piece of ass.

That's all she's good for yeah Some of the things

she tells these people though, I listened to

you guys last week what you were saying about

the shows and I'm just you're 100 % correct.

She she's not a therapist. She has no right talking

to these people like this It's cause more damage

to their psyche and and something's gonna happen

in the future where they're just gonna blow up

Yeah, thank you for agreeing this that's perfect

way to say it, too Well, you know when we'll

get into this what I do like is in this week's

episode She actually did bring in a therapist

for the fact that this uh... so we'll get it

in here in a bit uh... yeah paul's not here this

week he'll hopefully be back next week i know

for a fact when uh... when he watched uh... collection

intervention he messaged me on skype and said

that that episode really annoyed me uh... again

he's he's he's visiting his his sister out out

in vegas this week so Hopefully next week he'll

be back and we are actually gonna start with

toy hunter this week I'm gonna flip -flop the

shows each week where we might start with collection

intervention We might start with toy hunter,

but I'm gonna make it I'm gonna make it so it's

it's varied each week Depending I will or I will

say for next week's podcast We will only be doing

an episode of collection intervention because

toy hunter does not air again until September

12th. Yeah, I mean That's okay, we can talk about

new Doctor Who that starts tomorrow. The only

British show I ever really watched or cared about

was Faulty Towers. Oh, John Cleese. Alright,

so with that we're gonna head over to Toy Hunter.

We'll be back after this. Hey, remember when

you lit your toys on fire? Or how about when

you launched your spaceships out the window?

Awesome. Well, it might not be so awesome after

you watch Toy Hunter. They could be worth big

bucks. Meet Jordan Hembrough. Buying and selling

vintage toys is his business. $17 ,000. These

may be toys, but this isn't child's play. Toy

Hunter, a new series. Premiering August 15th.

Only on Travel Channel. All right, we are back

and we are talking about episode 4 of Toy Hunter

Million Dollar Magazine, which aired on August

29th, 2012. Jordan finds some older memorable

toys in San Francisco, including a Simon handheld

game, a Slinky, and an Easter... Easter Bake

Oven. Easy Bake Oven. He also looks into a home

filled with Spider -Man memorabilia. Just...

He didn't... Toy Hunter this week did not...

Jordan didn't do anything or say anything that

just outright enraged me like the whole... In

the premiere episode back last year when he did

the Comic Con thing when it was called Toy Hunters,

he said, and I mentioned this last week over

in the Toycast episode, he said, Thundercats

ran from 85 to 89. That's technically incorrect.

It ran from 85 to 87. uh... the whole dark seed

thing from from clinton it uh... it's dark side

you idiots uh... home for me in watching toy

hunter before i let you guys give your thoughts

for me watching the show it's more so just to

see what he finds are just to see what collections

People have As far as his whole I I do think

he's very fair with the fact that he's up front

and says hey I am a reseller and when he shows

those figures of hey, I bought it for 50 I hope

to make 75 or whatever He's only making you know

a very small profit margin from what from each

individual toy that he actually buys off these

people I could see him, you know Could see it

be a different thing if he said oh, I'll give

you 24 it and all you know I'll sell it for 80

or 100 or what I? Could see if he was going the

scalper out, but he isn't he's being completely

fair with most of this stuff At least I think

he is anyway I agree with that He seems like

he's fair just They're trying to make him out

like he's a super expert on toys, and he's not

you know I mean, it does say in the show that

he has been collecting or buying and selling

for the last 25, 30 years, however long it's

been. And that's all well and good. I know. He's

got like 30 years into it. You think one of us

would have heard of him before now. Yeah, that's

true. But I can see if he is like a one -man

show. And I know he does have a store somewhere.

I don't know where it is, but I know he does

have a store. It's probably one of those small

time toy stores where it's just him and some

chick in the office or something. I swear to

God, this week's episode, it felt so much like

American Pickers. because he specifically said

in it, oh, I called the office and I got a lead

on a good house for this or a person for this,

person for that. Whereas in previous episodes,

he said, oh, I called a friend of mine or I called

this person or back in the original pilot. He's

like, oh, well, I'm going to go see people that

worked at Kenner Bowl. I like that he's not doing

that anymore. I like that he's not going to former

toy company employees homes anymore. Matty, or

Mattel, sorry. Yeah, oh god, let's not even get

that started. Bob, what did you think of this

week's episode? Like you said, it was just kind

of blah. I mean, there wasn't like anything I

was going to throw my shoes through the TV and

wanted to just annihilate a guy. The thing that

got me was he was all giddy about, you know,

the Lightbright and the Simon and... They're

toys you can still get. I mean, you could go

out to any toy store right now and buy a Simon,

or you can buy a Light Bright. I mean, to me,

okay, yeah, they're from the 80s and stuff, but

they're still available. You can go out and buy

one and still have one. To me, the vintage toys

and stuff, it's hard to find the double -bladed

lightsaber, the Star Wars figures. You just don't

come across those very often. To me, that's what

the hunting is. I mean, anybody can go out and

find it slinky. I mean, good Lord. It wasn't

really like anything that was just, it was just,

yeah. And like you said, it was so much like

American Pickers and all those shows that it's

just, he has a girl in the office, she makes

the calls, he goes out there and... Nice to con

people into selling stuff. They don't want I

Mean that's pretty much what it was when he was

in the guy's garage this week and and Kevin you

haven't seen that one yet, but he's pretty much

going Oh, this is part of your collection, and

this is your prize prized possession I'll give

you $50 for Wait a minute Yeah, he just said

he loves this way, you know, he was like this

weekend or this week He was what was it? The

chips figures, you know chips And and for some

reason he looked like a zombie. I mean the actual

figure the toy It's like Eric Estrada didn't

look great at all and it's like even the one

in box. He looked like he was gray It's like

did they make gray Mexicans back in the 70s?

That's a good one Like did you do agree with

me? Did you see the toy itself? Did you look

at it? I Barely looked I got a glimpse of it.

But the thing is for that they For me at times

it's it's shown at weird angles like he doesn't

sit there and Like if Jordan actually, you know

said hey, can I can I look at this? He looks

at it and then he actually turns to the camera

and breaks the fourth wall of hey Here's this

toy and actually gave us a good look at it. I

could make more of a better judgment But I don't

know. It's just it's so weird and he's starting

to with this episode He started to he's instead

of saying, you know, how much? Do you need to

let this go? Instead of saying that he's like

well. He just starts offering. He's like I'll

give you 50 bucks I'll give you 150. I would

pay this I would pay that I liked it better when

he was you know doing the whole gimmick of How

much do you need what? What amount of money do

you need to let this go? Yeah, throw me out your

top number station would start verse I mean because

this isn't fucking pawn stars This isn't someone

you know saying hey, I need this amount of money

And then, you know, Rick going and saying, oh,

well, it's not worth that. I can give you this

and, well, I don't know. I just I'm not losing

interest in the show, but. The haggling seems

like it's like it's too forced. Yeah. Mm hmm.

It's like I'll give you 30. The guy was like,

I really want 35. I mean, you're really going

to haggle over five dollars. Apparently so. It's

like once my boy that's been sitting in the closet

for 20 years. Take it. You know, it's not doing

me any good. I Don't know when they filmed this

show because I know it's currently airing so

they probably filmed it four or five months ago

And as far as this week's episode as we've already

said it was it was kind of Blair I mean the spider

-man stuff was cool. The whole thing with the

spider -man stuff was like And I don't even know.

I know Amazing Fantasy XV is super rare and super

valuable, but I honestly don't know that his

quoting a figure of 1 .1 million dollars is accurate

for a mint. I don't remember comic book going

for that. I mean, you hear about Superman and

stuff, but I don't recall that. Amazing Fantasy

XV was Spidey's first appearance. Amazing Fantasy

was Stan's magazine that was getting ready to

close, and that's how we premiered him. Now I

remember about five or six years ago on VH1,

Sebastian Bach had one that was valued at like

$25 ,000. But that was like pretty much... near

mint, you know, five, six years ago. I don't

know what it would be now. The copy that the

guy had was, Jordan said it would probably, in

the condition it was in, because as we all know,

it's all about condition, it would probably be

worth about $2 ,000. I don't know. And for Kevin

that didn't see it, it looked like the dog got

a hold of it and chewed the crap out of it. And

then he put it behind glass in a frame. Yeah,

pretty much. And then they flubbed the frame.

And that and that's where I know this show is

a show what to go put the brain back on the wall

Yeah, yeah, because when Jordan went to put the

amazing fantasy frame thing back in the wall

He nearly dropped it and you know messed it up

and blah blah, and it's like oh my god I Honestly

don't see this show lasting that long Did you

see the one when he went to the guy that had

the Superman? Everything was Superman. Yeah.

Yeah, that was last week's well It was the same

way and this dude had everything that was spider

-man and he picks up out of all his collection

He picks up this piece of crap toy. That was

a remote control car That the box was all bending

in the stuff. Oh, this is awesome. I'm like you're

freaking idiot. It's a remote control car Maybe

$20 worth You know, yeah, it was from the 70s

and whatever, but out of that whole collection,

that's what he liked. It's like... You get to

put on the cape... Well, I seriously doubt he

was gonna make the dude an offer on the Superman

movie cape, because God... I would! I mean, come

on! If he has like two, three thousand dollars

in his pocket, please get an offer out. Don't

pick out a puppet. Yes, the just to give everybody

a preview of the next time the toy hunter no

toy hunter airs again on the travel channel Airs

on and September 12 2012 it is entitled prehistoric

Pennsylvania Jordan goes to look for old toys

in the Midwest Some of the vintage toys he find

include original strawberry the shortcake doll

and the Flintstones game It's called prehistoric,

Pennsylvania, and he goes to the Midwest. I don't

consider Pennsylvania the Midwest. Yeah, that's

not exactly the Midwest. Yeah. And what's he

doing in Pennsylvania? Is he going to go to Rose

and Tony's house? Oh, god. He'd have a heart

attack if he walked into that place. He probably

would. He'd probably get chubbed so big that

he'd have, like, you know, one of those four

-hour Viagra things. On that note, we're going

to head over to Collection Intervention before.

Bob gets even dirtier on here. Sorry. I didn't

say it. You were thinking it though. We'll be

back after this collection intervention preview.

Wow. He has 30 ,000 comics in our home. There's

nowhere in this house where there's no Star Wars.

Now might be the time to sell. We just need more

space. This is about new doors, new life. You

know, no one says you can't collect anymore.

The goal is for you to live in your house with

your beautiful collection, but for there to be

room. Collection Intervention premieres Tuesday,

August 14th at 10. Part of Syfy's Tuesday Night

Originals. And finally up today is Collection

Intervention. This latest episode aired on the

28th of August 2012. It's called Thinking Outside

the Boxes. A couple have one bedroom apartment

with a dog and 30 ,000 comic books. And a Transformers

fanatic needs to, needs help with his toys. Alright,

for me, the first thing that I will say about

this before it goes down the shithole is that

I like that she brought in with Daveed or whatever

his name is, I like that she brought in a actual

therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, whatever

the hell the therapist's title was to actually

talk to him. And that's what I liked about this

episode was that we actually find out why he

started this whole collecting thing because as

a kid, whatever else, we had that whole part

of his story. But the other part of the story

is he... has this business called toy hell i

think i've heard of that before i don't know

and originally i thought this week's episode

was supposed to be the schlong episode but no

that's next week well who who who who will definitely

get into that next week i hope you have more

than just they are for that when you see this

tie you push this button so this week it was

the comic book collector and the transformers

collector the comic book dude At first I was

like, seriously, man, there's nothing out there

that you would trade, you know, 3000 comic books

for versus, you know, and being able to give

your wife more space, especially, you know, one

fucking bedroom apartment, come on, but the whole

point of his part of the episode was, there was

one part where he was like, no, I'm not selling

anything. And I do like how Elise is like, well,

You don't really have those seminal works or

those Golden Age, Silver Age, those books that

are actually worth a lot of money that if down

the line you really needed money, you could sell

those. But all that you have right now is you

have more quantity over quality. And I like that

she was trying to point that out to him. And

I like in the end of that that eventually he

traded. Was it was it 30 bucks 30 boxes or yeah,

it's like 3 ,000 comics. He traded for um, oh

my god somebody just came online and But he traded

like 3 ,000 comics for that one issue of Hulk

I Have a question about that by the way. Yes

what comic book store has an Amazing comic that's

worth two three thousand dollars in the back

room when they have it on the floor of the showroom

behind glass so people would want to buy it not

always it seems so set up to me it's like uh

hey go go see if the guy will make a trade what

one comic do you possibly want and maybe he might

have it and then he goes i want the incredible

hawk blah blah blah i just happen to have one

look at this it's in the back room oh it's magic

you know it's like come on really if i could

think of one comic and go to a comic book store

i doubt they have it You know, they just have

have it laying in the back room Again it goes

to the point of Well, it goes to the point of

that this show is very scripted and very set

up to the point of like what you know I'm sure

they go in ahead of time and you know Before

filming and find out all the stuff as far as

in general a comic shop carrying a Hulk 181 No,

they would not put that out for display because

although people would rob the place I mean behind

glass like you know locked up and stuff. It's

like we have I mean how do people know they have

it they have to ask Well, yeah, that's kind of

the point is that if you had your hulk 181 or

your Spider -man number one or your amazing spider

-man 129 just out there even in even in a display

case People can rob the store at night. They

can break in they can get the display. I mean,

you know So I mean, I understand why a comic

like that would be in the back versus out on

display. And again, the value of a Hulk 181,

not a lot of people are gonna go in there and

say, oh, I can give you that price right now.

Yeah, who has $2 ,000 to... Yeah, really. Exactly.

Before before you get into your red. I want to

get Kevin's thoughts on this. I'm trying to save

your stuff for last This week's collection intervention

Like I said, I wanted to punch her looks like

five minutes into it. Just I mean she's telling

the guy now I understand there's a ton of comic

books. They had no room I could see that that's

a problem. Yeah, that's a huge problem but telling

him He's not a real comic book collector unless

he has you know Golden Age and Silver Age comics

in his collection Who are you to tell a collector

what he's collecting what it's worth to him?

Personally not what it's worth financially what

it's worth personally because that's what most

of us do we collect things on a personal level

not a financial level and She really I mean that

just irked me that whole statement cuz then it's

pretty much saying well You just wasted your

entire life because you don't have any golden

or silver age comics. I don't have any gold or

silver age comics Kiss my ass lady I've got I've

got g1 figures 90 % of them are on course. They're

not original. Does that mean they're worth any

less to me bullshit Right now as far as David

goes he had a huge problem because he's trying

to run a business and He was spending more than

he was actually selling because he just couldn't

let go of anything He had boxes and boxes everywhere.

He couldn't walk in his apartment That was ridiculous

Now off air now, I don't know if this is gonna

happen But as soon as as soon as that episode

as soon as this episode aired uh... paul had

said oh well he was at the transformers l a meetups

maybe i can contact him and we can get him for

interview just to kind of get like the behind

the scenes process of what it's like having collection

of the other cameras all that stuff and having

them in in his house i don't know if that's gonna

happen or not uh... it might in in in in the

future uh... but i i i think it's a cool idea

uh... His whole thing of oh, I want to keep everything

I want to keep all my transformers. I'm sorry

No, keep the ones that are near and dear to your

heart You know But if you're again as Kevin just

said spending outside your means and you're not

reselling any of this stuff and it's like I don't

know, it's weird. So let's let Bob have the floor

because I know Bob wants to go on a rampage.

No, I'll keep it nice because I don't want to

ruin your chance of being able to interview him.

And if he hears the bad Bob coming out, I don't

want to ruin your chance. OK, let's keep this

calm and civil. First off, I can understand having

a business and wanting to promote and get the

word out. How many freaking times are you going

to say, toy hell in one half -hour episode. They

said it at least fifteen times that I know of.

I was counting, trust me. He said, I have a website,

toy hell. And she goes, wow, this really is toy

hell. And having this collection is really hell.

Having this many toys. Just different versions

of toy hell. If you go back and, it's like, how

many times can you subconsciously throw the toy

and hell in the same sentence? In different mixes

-ups and... for some words in between Toy and

Hell, or Hell and Toy, I can understand wanting

to have people go to your website, and I'm sure

a shit ton of people, after they saw that episode,

that's the first thing they did, oh, toyhell

.com, and they went to it. I couldn't even imagine

how many numbers it was. Neither did I. See,

there is an addendum to all this. Go over afterwards

that I saw online yesterday, but let's let keep

going Bob cuz I want I want you to let it out

I want you just let it go Okay, that's my first

thing and Okay, his friend supposedly called

the show because he has a major problem and He

spent Ten thousand no twenty thousand a hundred

thousand dollars on toys somehow His parents

was rich um on all these toys and stuff to get

his business going then he calls his mommy and

daddy and goes I don't have enough money for

rent because like Kevin said I'm living beyond

my means I'm spending on transformer animated

backpacks for some stupid reason I need this

one it has Bumblebee on it anyway And then he

on the show he's calling his parents and I wonder

if he was really talking to his parents or acting

like it You know, I'm holding my my pinky and

my thumb up to my ear in my mouth acting like

I'm talking on the bones my parents I need some

money for rent because I can't afford it and

they've been paying his rent for since he moved

out I guess from what I understand when the show

made it seems I don't know how true that is or

if it was like she the the girl who runs the

the show if they were to put more drama into

this thing you need to borrow money from your

parents i don't know the guy he might be the

greatest guy in the world and i'm sorry if i

a called him bad names on twitter uh... because

that cause a whole shit storm in itself because

i trance trance the guy and everybody was like

always the nicest guy that's great you might

be a really cool guy but the way the show showed

it with the he came across on the show he was

a complete fucktard. I wanted to reach through

the TV and just grab him and shake his little

sickly body and say, dude, take your stupid,

what did they call it Kevin? Go ahead. Breakdown

robot? The million dollar toy that they sell.

Yeah, yeah. What was that? Anyways, I just. Mike,

do you really think out of all the G1 toys, that

was the toy to sell? The breakdown? Well, it

was a BotCon. Yeah, the breakdown robot. Well,

it was a BotCon. It was one of the first, if

not the first, BotCon exclusives, so I can see

why it would fetch that kind of a price. But

again, he has all of these mint in box G1 toys

and he if he's really all about Getting himself

to financial freedom sell some of this G1 stuff

that he is never opened I mean, okay granted.

I know there are mint in box collectors and there

are You know non mint in box collectors and there

are both where you know, they like to be mint

in box and non mint in box but If you're in a

financial situation where you are spending more

than you're making and you can't cover your rent,

sell some of your fucking toys that are actually

worth money. The dude offered him, I think the

final price was what, like $1 ,200? It was $1

,200. It was $1 ,300, which is exactly $100 over

what she told him it was worth when she first

picked it up. So that seemed real fish to me.

At last auction it went for like $13 .95 or $12

.95 or something, real low ball. And this dude

comes up out of nowhere, surprisingly, and goes,

I'll give you $700 for it. And if you look behind

them, the girl's head almost, she gave herself

whiplash by shaking her head no, so fast and

so, no, no, no, don't even try it. And then all

of a sudden he just happens to pull the 13 out.

Well, no, they kept that they kept going back.

I'm sure it is I mean the whole thing with like

one of the very first episodes that the you know,

we talked about it last time over on toy cast

The whole thing with the Catwoman guy and his

wife just picking up the bust and and selling

it for you know Whatever as yes, there are very

much parts of collection intervention that are

set up But they did go to show where the dude

was offering him more and more money past the

700 So there was some bartering there, but again,

I just don't think that First of all that the

show needs to be called something else it needs

to be called I don't even know what the hell

I said last time. It needs to be called something

else other than collection intervention because

this really isn't an intervention because if,

you know, six months down the line, you know,

he may still be doing the same stuff. You never

know. And I do like if you go to Syfy's website,

you can see, oh, updates, you know, where are

they now kind of things. So I haven't checked

any of those out, but... I don't know. If it's

an intervention, wouldn't you have like a room

full of your family members, you know, and they're

all sitting there and they go, dude, you have

a problem. You know, that's a tremendous intervention.

Some hot blonde -headed chick coming into your

apartment wanting you to sell one robot toy is

not going to fix your problem. So he made $4

,000 that weekend at the con. Yeah. He went out

and pissed it away because he's a fucktard. Because

he didn't offer his parents that four grand.

Oh here, I borrowed so much money from you. Here's

$4 ,000 I just made. He went out and spent it

on toys. She didn't fix the problem. Like what

Kevin said earlier, there's an underlying problem

behind all these people. And he's probably the

worst one I've seen so far. Because he keeps

getting inventory and inventory and it sits for

a year. And all of a sudden, it's his collection.

That's a major problem to me. And he was a sick

head, and he's still screwed in the head, if

you ask me. But she didn't fix his problem. So

he's probably still, to this day, probably doing

the exact same thing. Nothing is fixed. Well,

we'll get into that in a minute, I guess. I'm

still letting it go. I'm pretty sure it was either

on Twitter or Facebook yesterday that apparently

David has sold a lot of his collection and Is

funding some movie that he's going to make now

about all this? Wait, okay, let me think. So

now he wants to become famous. I haven't been

able to find it. He wants to become famous for

being a complete idiot and ruining his life and

being so far in debt that he had to sell all

this stuff to make a movie about being in debt.

And think people will want to watch that? Oh,

God. Oh, God. Over the toy cast episode which

I will link in the in this episode's post but

you know part of that in that episode when we

first started talking about these these these

toy reality television shows was that You know,

we we each brought up our own We ain't going

to great detail, but I brought up my financial

situation You know Bob you talked about you know

buying and selling and everything else and the

whole thing of it is is If you're so far into

debt that you need to sell your stuff to make

sure that you're able to live within your means,

just fucking do it. That's what we collect. If

I had to sell all my stuff right now, I wouldn't

have a problem if it took care of my family.

If I ever got myself in a hole and lost my job

or whatever. Would sell it in a heartbeat. It's

stuff. It doesn't mean anything to me. My kids

are more important than anything I own yeah,

but to this guy He needs to be out on the street

on his ass and his mom and dad go I'm not helping

you anymore. You're 40 freaking years old grow

the hell up there dweeb and get a fucking job

Sorry, I don't know what his name is Daveed or

whatever his name is You know, my name is Haji.

I'm just here for Johnny's amusement. And my

guess is, I don't know the guy at all, but I'm

thinking that was the only girl that's ever been

in his apartment. Oh, God. And he's probably

never seen a real naked lady, like, in front

of him, his eyes, that wasn't online. He's probably

never had a naked girl anywhere near him. If

he did, somebody probably paid for it. No, I

thought... Well, I thought this week's episode

with the comic book guy and David, I thought

this week's episode was going to be the Sean

Long episode because Paul on Twitter said, ooh,

Sean Long is going to be on the collection. I

mentioned my jaw. I swear to God, my jaw went

straight through my floor down to the apartment

below me because I'm like, seriously? Sean Long

on television, that's the last thing that dude's

ego needs is for him to be on fucking TV. Are

you fucking kidding me? You guys know how I feel

about him, about Long. I feel... He doesn't deserve

anything he has because I don't see how people

can stand watching him for more than five minutes

without going into seizures. Because of the way

he shakes so bad. It's like I need motion sickness

pills just to watch a review of his. I Don't

know but yeah, but next week Sean Long will be

on collection intervention And I'm sure we're

gonna have to put up with what up insert fan

name here guys and blah blah blah blah I swear

to god if he does Batman voice one time on that

show. I'm never watching it again And I'm gonna

blame him for it Batman I'm a retard So with

that we're going to head to some Some promotional

there you go folks. Another week of the new direction

here at Team Bottomless Variety Hour. In the

coming weeks we're going to have brand new podcast

art based off of Paul's collection. And as I

said before the shows been renamed to team bottomless

hour. We've just dropped the variety out of it

so we can have more of a Concise and straightforward

and actual plot to the podcast as far as reviewing

these toy reality shows any final words Kevin

As I said, I don't think toy hunters gonna be

around much longer doesn't seem like it as far

as collection intervention Sometimes I think

she needs to be a little bit more sensitive with

these people because one of these episodes somebody's

gonna seriously blow up in her face They all

have mental problems you don't collect like that

unless you have a mental problem Bob fun words

I think Kevin said it the best. I feel the same

way I think somebody's just gonna you want to

sell this and she's gonna You know say the wrong

thing and somebody's gonna beat her over the

head with a Barbie doll or something Yeah, there's

major issues going on there. I find it highly

suspect in the same week when both Toy Hunter

and Collection, I think this was last week, they

both found a Barbie number one on both of the

shows. I find that highly suspect. But yeah,

that's it for this week. We are, as I said, going

in a more focused direction with reviewing these

shows for as long as they last. Once the seasons

stop for Collection Intervention and Toy Honor,

the podcast is probably going to take a break.

Of course, both of them are still airing new

episodes, so I'm not sure exactly how many episodes

each one of them is going to have in their seasons

here. You can find Collection Intervention on

iTunes if you really, really want to check it

out. It's only $9 .99 for the season pass for

the standard definition version. I think it's

like $12 .99 for the HD version. It's not bad.

Usually that kind of price point means that it's

only going to have 9, 10, maybe 11 episodes.

Ever. So there's that. Toy Hunter, it's extremely,

unless you find it on YouTube, for me, it's extremely

hard for me to find. Even if I find it on YouTube,

it's not always a full episode. I don't understand

why Travel Channel doesn't have full episodes

of it outside of the pilot that aired way back

in last year for New York Comic. I don't understand

why they're not airing these episodes on their

website for full episodes. It makes no sense.

If they're sitting here going to want to promote

the show, Put full episodes online. Yeah, this

is put put commercials in them Let people watch

them online a lot of other channels do that.

You know, I have it That's why I haven't seen

episode four yet. I'm having a hard time tracking

it down Yeah So that's gonna do it for us you

can find team bottom us on Facebook Facebook

comm slash team bottom as you can follow Paul

on Twitter at Opta bottom us I am TF2 and Mike

Bob. What is your Twitter at Bob Gilmer? At at

Bob Gilmer. Yes, sir. I really really want to

get it correct. Yeah Darth devious One word yes,

we are bringing reality back to the toy reality

TV shows here on team bottomless hour We will

catch you next week with an all -new episode

of collection intervention with the schlong Later
