About this Episode

TFG1Mike and PecanCtMichael continue their Summer Vacation coverage with four Season 3 episodes. They discuss Agent Doof's crossover with OWCA, the adventure-heavy Temple of Wachadoon, the delivery-guy-centered Delivery of Destiny (featuring Christian Slater as Paul), and the bouncy chaos of Let's Bounce—debating Mary Sue territory, Indiana Jones references, and which episodes land the hardest.

Hi, this is Tom Ruger and you are listening to

the Geekcast Radio Network. Surfing tidal waves,

creating nanobots, we're locating Frankenstein's

brain! It's over here! Finding a dodo bird, painting

a continent, or driving our sister insane! Phineas!

As you can see, there's a whole lot of stuff

to do before school starts this fall! Come on,

Barry! So stick with us, cause Phineas and Ferb

are gonna do it all! So stick with us, cause

Phineas - I know what you mean, Ferb. It does

seem like more than 104 days. Hello, and welcome

to episode 75 of Pauka, brought to you by the

GeekCast Radio Network. This is the podcast organization

without a cool acronym, the GCR and Sweeney's

and Ferb Review Show. I am, of course, TFG and

Mike. Joining me is Pecan Court Michael. Hello.

Hey, how's it going? It's going. Today is the

75th day of summer. I don't know why the script

says 74th. I guess I just never changed it. Today

is also my 41st birthday. Yay. Happy birthday.

Happy birthday to you. That was all right. And

it is time for us to finally get back to the

Finnish in February show for 2021. Today we have

two full cartoon episodes with four cartoons

in total. We've got Agent Doof, Temple of Wachadoon,

Delivery of Destiny, and Let's Bounce. Man, we're

getting into some fun episodes for season three

so far. I think some of the stinkers are behind

us. There might be one or two left, but I really

enjoyed a lot of these today. Yeah, yeah, there's

at least one stinker today. Talk about it later.

Yeah, we'll talk about it much later. Candice,

honey, I'm going out to a birthday party. For

who? You know, Vivian's aunt's sister's landlord's

son. Evan? His son. Dexter? Yeah, it's his birthday.

Why do they even have parties for two -year -olds?

It's not like they're gonna remember anything.

Baby parties aren't for the babies, Candice.

They're for the moms. The moms? So they can feel

rewarded for all the hard work they do. Psh.

Toddlers are easy. They eat, they poop, they

sleep, end of story. You're a laugh riot, Candace.

Think you can handle watching Phineas and Ferb

today? Piece of cake! Have fun! Time to be in

charge. And first up, we have Agent Doof. Oh

lord, Candace's plans to watch over Phineas and

Ferb backfire when Dr. Doof and Schmertz's baby

-inator, no it's not what that means, turns her

brothers into babies. After an epiphany, Dr.

Doof and Schmertz shows up at the alca. to give

up his evil ways. Agent P has no choice but to

show Dr. Doofenshmirtz the ropes of the trade.

But things quickly sour between the two after

Dr. Doofenshmirtz accidentally exposes the identity

of a fellow animal agent. OWCA! Oh no he hasn't,

Agent P. Doofenshmirtz claims to have given up

evil. He even signed this I Give Up Evil affidavit

to apply for work at the agency and normally

we could have rejected him because he's not an

animal, but as it turns out he was adopted by

Ocelots, making him, in the eyes of the law,

an Ocelot. Sorry to do this to you, Agent P,

but we're making Doofenshmirtz your responsibility

during his probation period. Show him the ropes

and don't let him out of your sight. Talk about

taking the format and basically flipping it on

its head. It was all very different. Yes. What

do we like about this one? What is there not

to like? You know, when you get passed up for

a promotion and you have to train your new boss

to do their own job, that's what this feels like.

Yeah, you would know I wouldn't Okay. Well, then

you know, you should have just said I don't know

what you mean I am I know what you mean because

I've seen it in movies and films But I'm just

saying I haven't had I haven't had that experience

I haven't been a 40 or 50 something year old

person going to a job I used to have and I'm

no longer the boss. I'm the the the Padawan whatever

the hell you want to call it. I don't know trainee

Yeah, there you go training behind the counter

going we won fries with that But no the the the

the analogy here is that you know Do shows up

and They they basically tell h2p that he has

to train him to do his job. Yes, that's that's

kind of awful On the plus side they all get cubes

This is the first time we see the headquarters

of Oka, and it's a cute farm. You know what I

mean. Anyway, the babynator was ready to go,

so I took aim at my brother's office and pressed

the button. But it didn't work. It didn't work

for, like, the hundredth time. My evil plan did

not work. I thought to myself, maybe I'm just

not good at being evil. That's when I had my

epiphany. From now on, I'm going to be a good

guy. So here I am. Wow, my own cubicle. How nice.

I'm going to put a poster right here, a kitten

that says hang in there. No offense, it's not

that I think that's all you guys do or anything.

Oh great. Now he's going to human resources.

It's like gophers as far as the eye can see.

I was just waiting for Milton and his red stapler.

You've taken my stapler. I was actually, and

I know they didn't do this and they probably

never would do this, but uh... Was waiting more

for Carl to do this then then monogram Well,

no, no Well, actually or You know basically pull

a lumber because I think Carl could pull it off

better than monogram could because of the voices

But I love how they I love how they introduced

doof I Have taken over the Oh WCA. No, you haven't

You have it get away from there. It's like they

have all these cubes and offices and I'm wondering

Where exactly is the? The video room, you know,

where does he sit when they're having the remote

conversation? Mm -hmm Because it doesn't necessarily

look like His office is that place Yeah, no And

on the A side of the story, it's Phineas and

Ferb as babies. And Candice has to learn the

irony of everything she's saying. And I just

don't care. Sorry about your luck. I don't make

podcasts for children. I have no time. I have

no patience. I will say this, if it was, and

I, and I, and I assume it is, if it was Vincent

Martella and Thomas Sankster doing the baby sounds

for Phineas and Ferb, which I assume it was,

I'm assuming that's some pretty good baby voice

acting. I'll say that right now. Baby. How hard

is it to do baby voice? It's mostly gurgles and

true, but there were some times where, where.

Like. They babble and they blow raspberries and

stuff like that But there were points when they

were babies where I actually heard their voices

in the sound effects. Oh Okay Yeah, so I definitely

sound I thought it sounded like them but Again,

you know, it's it's gurgling and yeah You know,

it's not that hard. I mean, come on, man I was

gonna say, they kind of look like baby Yoda.

No, they don't. Yeah, they're small and they

got these big huge eyes. Yeah, but Grogu is much

cuter than they are. Oh, I don't know, man. I

mean, they got, not only do they have great big

eyes, but they have these great big eyelashes

and little tiny curlicues of hair on top of their

head. It's like ridiculously adorable. Guess

I'm not I'm not one for children. So having had

children of my own I can tell you that they were

very cute at that age There you go. Yeah What

was the cartoon with the baby they kept crawling

in the danger? I want to say it was like part

of Animaniacs But I think it goes back even further

than that where it is like always a baby crawling

into a construction yard or something Oh, no,

that was um, it was in a maniacs. It was it wasn't

a baby. It was um, it was Mindy and buttons Yeah,

Mindy was always escaping and buttons had to

always look after but she would end up in this

construction site or She would end up wherever.

Yeah, that was Mindy and buttons. I want to say

even that was like Play on something that happened

in Tom and Jerry like 40 years ago or something

at this point 60 years ago. Oh, yeah I mean,

yeah. Yeah, we're getting told for this cartoon

shit folks. Exactly You know people are like,

you know, the 80s are 40 years ago. Yeah die

die in a fire. Yeah The 70s were 50 years ago,

you know, I I was not a child of the 70s though.

I was Yes, you are. Yeah. Anyway. So as I was

saying, yeah, baby's crawling in the danger.

Uh, that's basically what's happening here through

half of this show is that little baby Phineas

and Ferb were constantly trying to get themselves

murdered. And who doesn't giggle at baby murder?

They're so damn adorable. Um, nobody should be

giggling at baby murder. You know what made me

laugh really hard though, is when Major Monogram's

car blew up. Oh yeah. I laughed so hard. I was

like, what's this button do? There's no training

manual. There's not even a five minute like cursory,

you know, don't push that button. It's just get

in the car. At first I thought they were going

to modify the car to have Doof actually fit where

he would have, but no, he's still scrunched up

in that car. I was like, wait a minute. Uh, no

wonder he's pressing all the damn buttons. He's

so damn uncomfortable. Well, it'd be one thing

if he was pushing buttons on accident because

he's got no room. Yeah. True. But that wasn't

so much the case. It sure is great to be a baby

Because they're having so they're having so much

fun as babies Yes, yeah At least they still have

their inventiveness and creativeness. You know,

they can still build stuff even though they're

just babies. It seems kind of odd Yeah, well,

I mean they did stop that guy from robbing the

store. So there is that? Dismantle his motorcycle

get away bike. See ya Glad to be out of the infant

phase and the toddler phase, you know nowadays

now It's just playing video games with my kids.

That's the phase I'm in now and it's really cool

Very cool. Yeah, it's a hundred times better

than infant phase Each sleep and poop and you're

responsible for all three. That's like really

really like hard Candice is like I understand

the irony It's all babies all the time. Yep.

I Think the best line she has I hope this wears

off by the next episode So Candice pulling the

fourth wall the trigger there Oh and at the end

do physical after all yep You know after does

he end up as a full -time good guy at some point

No, this was it. This was it. Oh, okay. I think

this was it. I could be right in like a season

four thing Maybe there might be something is

I honestly do not remember jumping the shark

and suddenly doof becomes a good guy I Mean that's

what this was gonna be. Yeah, I mean Yeah, but

the thing of it is is he still He's still overall

his To mastery of evil. I mean, he's not He's

he's not a smart evil person at all. I mean if

Rodrigo can you know almost defeat him? Yeah,

I was editing We're recording this behind the

scenes folks. Don't you love it as we're recording

this? I just finished and edited and released

episode 73 which is features the boot The bootnator

or whatever it was where Heinz is training this

evil this evil intern or something or a it's

oh, it's minor monogram When your buddy Seth

Green that you absolutely love shows up as the

voice of Monty's son All right, then you go on

a five -minute tirade about Seth Green's voice

and animation geez, man Well, you could edit

that out I already do enough work with the show

Thank you very much like 20 minutes worth of

audio that doesn't necessarily need to be there

Seth Green is probably listening. He's gonna

know of my disdain and it's gonna hurt Seth Green

knowing of who we are. Yeah, right He's and monkeys

might fly out of my ass You don't want the things

coming out of my ass All right, okay then What

would you rate this one? This one I still didn't

like the a plot almost at all Like I get it and

like Candice says at the end of it she gets it

but it just Don't know For all the doof and all

the age and stuff I'll give it a free but if

it wasn't for the a plot this would get much

higher I'd give this one a three for reminding

me that I don't have babies anymore Babies are

hard We're going to take a quick break so I can

have some sort of editing prowess at some point

during my podcast career. Yeah, exactly. Edit

in your off hours. Edit in my off. While you're

recording the next episode. I wish. Disrespectful.

That's funny. We'll be back after this. Pixels

Head on over to iTunes or the net or else I will

send you my vehicles to extract your spark and

destroy you. Yes! This is it, giant cannibal

cave. According to the map, Berserk McGurk stashed

it here. No one ever saw him again. This way,

up these giant cannibal stairs. There it is,

the amulet of Watchadoon. And that must be McGurk,

down there on that giant cannibal dining set.

How much rope do you have? As always, you are

prepared. Up next is Phineas and Ferb and the

temple of I don't give a crap. Wachadoon? Yeah,

Phineas and Ferb in the temple of Wachadoon.

After locating and retrieving the amulet of Wachadoon,

adventuring archaeologist duo Ohio Flynn, Phineas,

and Rhode Island Fletcher, Ferb set off to Central

America to help a - Damsel in distress Isabella

who is also many other things find the lost temple

of watch a dune and her missing mother However,

dr. Doofenshmirtz has other plans for the amulets

to awaken the evil corn Colossus to give him

the power to destroy the world Okay, I know you're

going to reference Raiders of the Lost Ark temple

of doom Last Crusade was far superior than both

of those in my personal opinion. I just don't

care. This is so far left fiat. You want to talk

about breaking the formula? And again, I'm all

for them trying something new or giving something

new to us. I enjoyed Ferb TV for what it was.

for what it was. I enjoyed Furblaten for what

it was. However, this was just weird. First of

all, this is the first time to my knowledge outside

of second dimension that Phineas and Ferb and

the gang meet or meet up with Doofenshmirtz because

they're basically trying to have Phineas and

Ferb as these other characters in some sort of

past tense thing. I mean, there's not even a

Panama Canal yet, so... Well, this is supposed

to be 1914. Oh, well then. Yeah, and they're

not the same characters. It was kind of like

not too long ago, maybe even last episode, where

they had a medieval one and it was like, it was

Ferb a lot. And, you know, it was Phineas and

Ferb, but it wasn't Phineas and Ferb. So I can

understand it from that point of view and I enjoyed

it from that point of view. I mean, I know this

isn't all the same characters. They don't even

know Isabella. Yeah. Oh, I forgot to give you

this one double crosser and I'm like really Seriously

double cross dirty double crosser. Really? You

know, it's funny I didn't see I am well steeped

in Indiana Jones lore, but I did not see that

coming I I don't know what it was because again,

this is one of those ones that they aired I want

to say back to back with other ones Kind of thing.

I think it was like this Excalibur been and something

else, but it was like this This couple of weeks

years and years ago now when Disney Channel aired

these almost back to back with each other and

I'm like, oh She's gonna double cross them as

soon as I saw as soon as I saw a doof walk up

to the cage I knew she was gonna double cross

them just knew it She's, she's the Elsa of the

Phineas and Ferb universe. Yeah. And I don't

mean the, the frozen bitch either. I mean, Elsa,

Elsa, the, uh, the Nazi bitch from last crusade.

Yeah. Hey man, just let it go. I'm sure, I'm

sure we've done Indiana Jones references before

on the show. Like, especially the giant rolling

ball, but, but this is by far the Indiana Jonesiest.

Oh, of course it is. Yeah. Ohio Flynn and Rhode

Island Fletcher. Yeah. Which, you know, uh, Ferb

isn't even from Rhode Island. Even I know that.

True. I do love though that this, um, they do

flip the, uh, the whatcha doing line. Whatcha

doin'? They give it to Lawrence. Hello gents,

whatcha fancy? Whatcha fancy? That's not the

same as whatcha doin' though. Uh, hey, you know

what? I don't question the infinite wisdom of,

well I do sometimes, of the Phineas and Ferb

wiki, but under the whatcha doin' line... It

doesn't say none, it says it's done by Lawrence,

and it says what he says in the app. Hello gents,

what's your fancy? Well, fame, glory, money,

and the preservation of semi -mystical historical

treasures, but we'll settle for hot fudge sundaes.

Well, Isabella actually still has her Whatcha

Do in line. True. So... For my money, that's

the Whatcha Doon. I like, it probably comes in

and says, my mom's name is New Hampshire Garcia

Shapiro. Can we talk briefly about the other

stuff going on in the background of this conversation?

Yes. I had to go back. I had to go back and watch

it again because I missed so much stuff. All

the stuff going on in the background. Like this

is cool. And again, a lot of Indiana Jones references

in the background. Hmm. This is chock -full of

Indiana Jones. Mm -hmm. You know, there's a guy

with a snake wrapped around him. Yep. A lot of

snakes in this episode. Yeah, and Indiana Jones

doesn't like snakes. He doesn't like snakes.

It had to be snakes. Yep. I think the best thing

that they did in this episode, the Fez dispenser.

Oh, yeah. We're not your fans. Oh, yeah, but

we're not even in Egypt It was funny is that

they they go into this giant cannabis cave and

there's giant cannabis stairs and there's a giant

cannabis dinner plate and And then you get a

yeti who's probably clearly high on cannabis

This part has been edited ha ha ha you'll never

know what was actually here Okay, then carry

on so they drop the corn Colossus and the fire

pit And Phineas says I thought he would pop I

mean right He kind of looks like he was made

out of stone, I don't see how yeah gotten That

I'll see how he would have been on that train

of thoughts when the giant stone colossus is

stomping toward you Well, I think the thing of

it is is that because it's a corn Colossus like

Phineas they like they broke the the ear of corn

and he went nuts because he's watching over the

corn kind of thing. And they call him a corn

colossus even though he is made out of stone.

He looks like in certain parts of him that he

is made out of some sort of corn like substance

or whatever. Who the hell knows? I mean yellow

corn, white corn, you don't know what color corn

it is. It's called maize in South America. He's

made of maize. Think I just made a racist corn

joke. I really am a freak on a leash We're gonna

make a pact now blood oath to Ended out all the

racist comments out of here. I'm not a racist

person. I don't understand where that came from

Okay, so The thing that disappointed me most

here is that nobody's face melted I'm that was

I was ready Really? Yeah, cuz of the only person's

face I could see melting and sadly they actually

Basically chomped him down to size the only person

and as much as I hate to say this because I love

the character The only person's face that could

survive melting and be rebuilt is norm But the

abominable snowman basically just like hit him

on the head and he just kind of shrunk 50 feet

Yeah, like an accordion Yeah, pretty much. Yeah,

so no melting. No melting, but that's okay. Not

even butter. I mean, the butter would have gone

really well with the popcorn Colossus. Melted

butter. Yeah, I got nothing. So again, folks,

75th episode of this show out of 104 and took

us 75 episodes to go. Really, really darling.

This is like beast unleashed humor at this point.

This is like, you know, the low road of farts

humor here. Not after you edit it. Who says I'm

editing this? I'm going to give this one a five

for Indiana Jones references. Really? Well, yeah,

it was a really busy episode, but it was so clever.

Mean I was surprised how much they crammed into

15 minutes. I in fact, I would have liked to

have seen a double episode with this That would

be better Two and a half What I just Harrison

Ford is gonna come to your house and punch you

in the head What do you mean you didn't like

that episode kid He Doesn't know where I live

and he ain't probably doesn't even know Freedom

Indiana Jones. He doesn't know where I live He

has no time for me it'll make time Right, right.

He's too busy flock harding with Calista. Yeah

She's like a skeleton her attractive All right,

we're gonna take a quick break and we'll be back

after this. It's Showtime synergy the latest

episode long podcast You can find Showtime synergy

truly outrageous podcast that you want to be

listening to Delivery Hi, Paul. Hey, boys. You

ordered 20 tons of building material? We sure

did. Okay, sign here. Hmm. Thought I had a pen

here somewhere. No problem. I'll just use the

pen you left here yesterday. Ferb and I modified

it so you won't lose it again. Ha! What'd you

guys do? Install a homing sensor? Actually, we

just put a clip on it. Cool! Ha! Here's your

seat. Up next is the single best episode of Season

3 in my personal opinion. Delivery of Destiny.

Paul the Delivery Guy voiced by... Christian

Slater, I know that immediately without even

having to look it up, discovers his job has a

higher calling to save Danville as he makes stops

at Phineas and Ferb's house, Doofenshmirtz Evil

Incorporated, Danville City Hall, and the OWCA

in a special episode seen through his eyes. The

Rock Band Love Handle returns for some musical

accompaniment. Meanwhile, at Doofenshmirtz Evil

Incorporated, Perry has lost the tools in his

hat. A Juicinator? Really? It turns everything

to juice. You're gonna juice City Hall? I mean,

where are we living, New Jack City? It's the

juice. Christian Slater is Paul the delivery

guy? Oh yeah. Will confirm that but I know that

voice immediately I I didn't I didn't catch it

right away because I thought Christian Slater

sounded like a young Jack Nicholson Yes, I just

delivered to Phineas and Ferb. Yes. Yes, they

are. No, I left them the blue copy No, son. You

always have to leave them the pink copy the blue

copy is yours You've got to take your job more

seriously now. You're running seven seconds behind

I'm not sure if I really want to be a delivery

guy. Of course you want to be a delivery guy.

You just don't want to be a delivery guy. Who's

seven seconds behind? Step it up. All right,

Dad. Talk to you later. Bye. Oh, wow. This is

really interesting. If it's what I really think

it is. Are you? What is it? Holy crap. OK, this

is this is this is cool. Yes, I'm reading from

the wiki, but it's cool. All right. So shut up.

You want me to leave in what I'm supposed to

take out, then shut it. Please, by all means,

continue. Alright, in the US and Canada, Paul

the delivery guy was voiced by Christian Slater.

In the UK and Ireland, he was voiced by none

other than Scotty himself from the Abrams verse,

Simon Pegg as Paul the delivery. I need to see

the Simon Pegg version of this episode. I think

that would be better, actually. I would have

recognized Simon Pegg right off the bat. Like,

oh, Simon Pegg, here we go. Now we're talking.

Yeah. I didn't know they had international versions.

I didn't know either, but hey, again, I'm not

going to question the Wiki. If it's here, it's

here. All right. Sure. Hmm. I want to know how

Christian Slater got his own episode. I mean,

this is like bad fan fiction. This is like Christian

Slater writing himself into the episode say everybody

likes me and I go to visit everyone in Danville

and then I get to solve a Mystery and then everybody

congratulates me and tells me how cool I am And

then I save Perry and Perry tells me how great

I am and then takes me on a ride It's like this

is really just awful fanfiction I know it's not

shut up. It's not written by Christian Slater.

How did he get his own episode then? I don't

know. Maybe they wanted to give it to him. This

is written by Kaz and Kim Robertson Hey listeners,

the WJOP party man is out there somewhere in

the tri -state area The first lucky listener

to spot the party man and say the phrase that

bays wins a special prize. Oh, here's my next

delivery What a weird -looking building. Out

of order? Great! It's open! Hello! Delivery!

You're not Perry the Plat - Sorry about that.

I was expecting someone else. No problem. Happens

to me all the time. Really? I'm just kidding.

A nice clip! Oh, thanks. Yeah, I like your place.

What do you do here? Oh, you know, different

things, but today I'm building a Juicinator.

It's going to turn City Hall into juice. Oh,

is it now? Yeah, and then I'm gonna take over

the Tri -State area. You know, like you do. Well,

at least you got a plan. I haven't figured out

what I want to do with my life. Don't sell yourself

short. Perhaps you could be one of my minions.

Not an indoor minion, but a minion that keeps

the coal fires burning. Yeah, I'm not sure that's

a step up. Here you go. You should think about

that author. Minioning. It's a growth industry.

Oh, you forgot to leave me the pink copy. Juice

City Hall. What a character. And then I get in

a van with love handle and they sing to me and

serenade my entire day. It's like, oh my God,

who is writing this? This is so bad, Christian.

Put the pencil down. Racist Yetis coming in at

you. so racist yet he's in this episode stop

it I work on a truck Hello? I got a complaint

from City Hall. They haven't got their package

yet. Sorry, Dad. I had a delay, but I'm on my

way. He's on his way. Yeah, yeah. You just have

a sec, because you liked this episode and I just

didn't. No, this episode, what's wrong with you?

This episode was awesome. I, you know, it's the

Mary Sue. It's not. It is. It really isn't. So,

so. Paul smashes the radio van and the love handle

has to ride in his truck with him and they're

essentially his theme music. No, Paul was parked.

The radio van smashed into him. Okay, so now

he has theme music whether he likes it or not.

Every good hero should have some. But he goes

with it and then he even says, you guys have

a song for that? Yep, we do. Like I mean, come

on, that's funny. And when's the last time we

saw a full episode with love handle? I mean,

there's a song like every seven seconds or something.

It's not a song. It's just them describing shit.

Right is a jingle. But still, I mean, you know,

it's cool. It's fun. There's a dweeb in the crosswalk.

Good thing we stopped in time. He's into his

computers. Yeah, he's into sci -fi. He's into

sci -fi. For your information, it's not sci -fi.

It's speculative fiction. You know, it might

be fun to like hang out with a band while they

have their instruments and they're just like

pointing at stuff on TV and like singing about

it. But again, Mary Sue has his own theme band

who follows him around. Uh huh. Hey. Yeah. Major

monogram even says, Carl, how come we don't have

a soundtrack? Oh my God. You know, so if major

monogram wants a soundtrack, you know, if you

know, come on now major monograms, like, you

know, we don't normally do this, but you're so

awesome. Mary Sue, why don't you come join us

at power? Okay. I almost said pocket. Like come

over here later next to me Slater wants to come

on this podcast and talk about his career I'd

be more than happy to do that interview in a

heartbeat That would lend so much credibility

to this podcast and this network. I like Christian

Slater too, but you know still liar I really

like Christian Slater damn filthy liar hard hairy

wearing nothing but a smile and a you know, you

know the rest of but um he I I like christian

slater I did not like the writing of this episode

like I said it seemed very Mary Sue to me and

I feel that because christian slater was the

voice actor on this episode it feels as if it

was made for him by request um yeah but I don't

see anything in the trivia about that oh well

they're not gonna admit it geez well who knows

Need to get to Perry in seven minutes If only

there was a guy whose job it is to deliver stuff

who is right here job, right? Well, yeah, he

did get there in seven minutes and he freed Perry

Yes, Mary Sue everyone loves you and you did

free Perry and then Perry like told you how great

you were Ten songs in this episode They're not

songs they're they're at best sentences sets

of music You're here with my box, you know mayor

doofenshmirtz I just delivered a package to a

Heinz doofenshmirtz. Yes as my older brother

Charming man, you know, you want a kitty in the

box that box is really light. That's because

it's empty I just needed a box my cat loves to

play with them Are they with you yes, yes they

are Yes, I know It's okay, so kitty in a box

is one of the songs it's when they get to City

Hall The lyrics to kitty in a box kitty in a

box kitty in a box almost as cool as a genie

in a box Okay That's a song What they listed

as a song and honestly, how do you not enjoy

sci -fi speculative? Seriously, you're all about

the sci -fi and speculative. There's a dweeb

in the crosswalk. Good thing we stopped in time.

He's into his computers. Yeah, he's into sci

-fi. He's into sci -fi and then Irving corrects

them. It's not sci -fi. It's speculative fiction.

Speculative fiction is such an addiction speculative

fiction. How do you not like that? Because basically,

you know, it's a bunch of guys in a van shouting

at people in the street, which is not comedy

Anywhere else you'd be like crossing the road

to avoid these people And they're the band of

this animated series, come on I really like love

handle but so guys come on It's like oh, I'm

a Mary Sue and I need to visit every important

character even Irving Irving's not an important

character. They didn't bother to say hi to Isabella

Yes, they did Okay, see everybody he gets to

visit everyone and they all tell him what great

he is so Paul saves the day and blows up the

Juicinator which disintegrates most of the headquarter

building right there's the evil incorporated

building right i'm just like this is like writing

yourself into harry potter and everybody likes

you in a hermione wants to be your girlfriend

but this is better than harry potter in my mind

harry potter that guy's a mary's you've written

the story haven't you no And then Blaster walked

into the backyard and everyone said, you belong

here and we love you. Climb this tree with us

while we think of our next invention. Oh guys,

like I was saying, I'm not sure if I'm totally

fulfilled as a delivery guy. He's not sure that

he's totally fulfilled as a delivery guy. He's

not sure. There's a whole world of things to

do out there. There's a whole world of things

to do out there. I mean, look at those kids.

Look at those kids. Hey, we know them. Hey, Phineas.

Hey, Ferb. Hey, guys. And you guys. What is it

you really want? We're hungry and we want to

eat. Fine. We're hungry and we want to eat. Fletcher

said yay. R -Y. That's all I'm saying now. What

are you gonna rate... What are you gonna rate

Delivery of Destiny? Alright, I'd give this one

a 2. I am giving it a 5. If I could give it a

10, I'd give it a 10. I love everything about

this episode. Hey Dad! I'm just stopping for

lunch. He says we have another delivery for Heinz

Doofenshmirtz. We gotta go back to headquarters

and pick it up. I normally like it when they

break the mold and do something different. But

this one wasn't for me. I normally love Love

Handle. Having Love Handle in the episode would

normally boost the score automatically. But they

basically serenaded the delivery guy for 15 minutes.

It's so Mary Suey. But it wasn't just they weren't

just serenading to him A couple of the songs

were a couple of the songs were about him. Yes

when they were driving in the van but like Singing

the fact that they want lunch that to me is not

serenading him. That's just singing that they

want to eat Like I mean, come on So they end

up at Jeremy's work where Candice just happens

to be there. Well, of course because Candice

and that's that's the other cool thing about

this episode Phineas and Ferb are off doing their

thing with this new roller coaster or whatever

the hell it is and because we don't even know

we don't even we see parts of it but we don't

see the whole thing and Candice is over at Jeremy's

trying to basically explain to him how she's

going to eventually bust them even though again

the focus isn't on her busting them that's what

makes this a fucking tan man a fucking tan Delivery!

Again! Oh goody, it arrived! One last part for

my Juicinator. Oh right, you're still on that

juice thing. Yeah, my Juicinator, my giant manacing

machine that I built that will turn City Hall

into juice. Hi, you. Why don't you use the elevator?

Got a song for that? Actually, we do. We just

climbed up 65 flights! I can't, I can't. Go down

this path with you. I'm sorry. Alright, let's

bounce. Let's bounce. Bouncin' out of that one.

Where's Perry? That too. Bleh. Inspired by Ferb's

personal anti -gravity device, Phineas thinks

it would be fun to suspend trampolines all over

Danville. Unfortunately for Candice, she also

gets zapped by the anti -gravity device and ends

up trying to maintain her composure. while floating

across the dining room floor in front of Jeremy's

family. Meanwhile, Dr. Griffin Schmerz has a

recipe for evil that involves his Tell the Truthinator

featuring Honest Abe Lincoln. Yes. Honest Abe

Lincoln smash. Racist Yetis. Racist Lincoln.

I can't. I can't even. All right. So Jeremy's

entire family is coming over for brunch. Yes.

So fancy. Yes. I'll get the plates out. Well,

put out 10 because I was talking to Jeremy's

mom earlier and we thought it would be fun to

get us all together for brunch this morning.

Wait. So the whole Johnson family and our whole

family. Yeah. Mom, this is the first time both

of our families have formally gotten together.

Honey, relax. It's just a casual brunch. No big

deal. No big deal? I'm Jeremy's girlfriend. We

have to make a good impression. Breakfast is

easy. This is brunch. Brunch. That's so fancy.

Mom, what does this frittata say about us as

a family? There's nothing wrong with my frittata.

And frozen orange juice? Really? I can't breathe.

Where do we keep the paper bags? Hey guys, I

know you ate earlier, but you want to join us

for brunch? No, no, no, don't embarrass me. Oh,

we can't mom We're on our way to the hardware

store to pick up some extra parts. All right,

two less plates then good It's not breakfast.

It's not lunch. It's it's fancy breakfast lunch

Yep It's cool that they're all there I I mean,

you know, they even get to Call out Suzy for

me. Oh, yes big time finally as she gets hit

by his truthinator Tell the truthinator. Yep.

Ah, I Like to tell the truthinator Yep, it's

got honest Abe because he's thematically links

to honesty. Yep Loyalty shifting like honestly

seriously this entire episode. Yeah, very the

platypus. He's gonna John Wilkes my booth what

too soon I Love all the honest Abe jokes. I really

really do. Oh, that's pretty bad the The awful

thing is like when you read the wiki it goes

in the detail to bang you over the head With

the fact that John Wilkes was very exactly who

John Wilkes Booth is put it that way. Mm -hmm.

Ah Like yes, yes, I know I am an American with

a fairly strong grasp of American history, excuse

me, sir Where do you keep the reverse switches

right behind you next to that guy buying self

-destruct buttons? Sweet 50 cents off with coupon

The reverse switches are right next to the self

-destruct buttons. That's right 50 % off coupon

Yep. Exciting. It's just shopping in just a weird

place. Uh, you know, one of your favorite movies,

Minus Hell 9000, is also referenced in this.

Uh, where? The Blue Danube plays as Candice is

trying to make her way across the backyard answering

the door. Oh, alright. I wouldn't have made that

reference. It was done during the docking sequence

in 2001. Yeah, but yeah, but I mean, that's like

a very slow kind of a You know, it's that I I

wouldn't have equated the two scenes. So put

it that way If anything if what it's a doodle

jump episode, yeah your play doodle jump Someone

here has so played doodle jump. It's it's basically

you got a little guy and he bounces on trampoline

and it goes up and Then he has to keep bouncing

on trampolines and going up where he dies It's

like Flappy Bird except straight up instead Hmm

that makes up and Doofenshmirtz is dreaded even

need this says this in the wiki, but I didn't

even need I saw it immediately I'm like, why

is he dressed like Marty McFly? Ha ha ha in the

with the red guitar and the yeah I Liked that

Anytime they break out backup singers. I like

this one. I had backup singers. Yep What they

needed was a good Sam Kinnison reference You

know, it keeps you together lies lies keep you

together. Yep Sam Kenison everybody There you

go Do you remember that that bit a long time

ago? Yes, that was like an HBO special or something.

Yeah Sam Kenison. Ah, I thought he was so funny

when I was Teenager I didn't see that one coming.

Yes. I have seen the Sam Kenison thing It's been

a while and I don't remember it. I'll have to

watch it after this Let's bounce I love the idea

of them doing the anti -gravity fun launcher

Funinator or whatever the hell it's called that

they're doing the anti -gravity Maximus or whatever

it is. I think that's cool I think it's cool

that they have the trampolines. I always wanted

to do trampoline stuff, but I've always been

to No balance challenged, let's say I feel I

feel fear of coming down toward the ground really

fast. And that and I feel fear trying to jump

up really high, too. So, yeah, I guess I could

ever jump was to the middle school basketball

goal. This middle school basketball goal. Now,

notice I said middle, not high school. I've never

been a big fan of falling. But I do like what

they did here, and I think it's funny, and I

think it's absolutely hilarious that Baljeet

basically gets caught between two of them. You

know, you'd think that an anti -grav generator

would be enough. You know, it's like, oh, we

also have to make a doodle jump game out of it.

This doesn't strike you as an ater. A little

bit. Yeah. Yeah. I called it a, uh, anti -gravity

fun launcher, anti -gravity inator or whatever.

A little bit. Yeah. Very inator ish to me. It's

like, Oh, where did it go? We don't know what

happened to it this time. It's like, he might

now. Yeah. I think the best part of this episode

is when Candice flips the table. Yeah. She's

just like It's an awful nice brunch you got there

be ashamed of somebody were to flip the table

Mm -hmm Good times, you know Yeah, no, I like

the Perry plot I like the I like the the Candice

plot one of the only Candice plots so far this

season that I actually enjoy Because again, you're

furthering her Story with Jeremy with meeting

the family and blah blah blah and the boys are

out doing their own thing With you know, the

bouncy bounces with their friends. Yeah So, you

know that way you don't have to worry about it

And then of course the best part about it is,

you know Susie getting hit with the truthinator

Yep. Yeah, she gets uh, she gets hers Mm -hmm,

you know, maybe that's a secret as every episode

Candice needs to be put in mortal danger so that

she's, you know, more worried about actual death

than busting her brothers. Again, this thing's

an Ader. It almost killed Candice. Yeah, pretty

much. That's not evil. I don't know what is.

Certainly more evil than half the things that

Doof comes up with. Yeah, exactly. Cue in Candice

and her parsnips. Evil, evil little boys. Evil

little boys. It's a evil. So I was going to give

this one a four for Ford theater shenanigans.

I'm kind of right there with you three and a

half. Unlike the wiki, I won't bang you over

the head with the Ford theater reference. Yes,

Ford theater. Uh -huh. I know I know what though.

I don't need a reference. Hello John Wilkes inked

my booth I get it My proclamations. Yeah, exactly.

I got it. It's like hello. I know that like the

back of my hand I know what happened to honest

aid At the Ford theater, mm -hmm Cuz he kept

standing up and shouting at the at the people

on the stage and they're like shut up stop the

question is was it the henry ford theater or

the gerald ford theater well henry ford came

long after true like long after uh he died i

don't know it's just a ford thing folks all right

yeah sure i guess i was trying to buck that bronco

who knows Oh, who was that the Ford theater named

after? Oh God, you know, you're gonna make me

look Let's try this theater named after oh Boy

Ford's theater Wikipedia gotta love it, you know,

Gerald Ford was murdered in the Lincoln theater

Irony folks It is altogether fitting and proper

that I must destroy Doofenshmirtz. Oh, get back!

I must destroy Doofenshmirtz. He's gonna John

Wilkes my booth! What, too soon? Anyway, uh,

let's see... Man, I have a lot of work to edit

in this episode, so can we just wrap this up,

please? You're being a little too honest here,

Abe! I'm doing the, uh... the quick Google search

here for a Lincoln and and Ford's assassination

similarities You gotta leave gotta Google this

it's hilarious. No, I'm presidential assassinations

hilarious Yeah, no, oh yeah Oh, oh wow. Now who's

reading from the wiki, Mr. Yeti? I'm sorry, I've

been sidetracked. Yeah, so let's wrap this up.

And you still didn't find out the answer of who

it's named after. Great. All right, where is

it? What? The building? Yes. Oh, um. No, no,

I didn't it said It's after shooting Lincoln

booth ran from a theater to a warehouse likewise

after shooting Kennedy Oswald ran from a warehouse

to a theater All right, anyway We're gonna take

a quick ad break so you can hear some other stuff

from our other shows Which are probably most

likely better than this show is So we'll be back

you edit that out and like specifically stick

it at the end. I'm not gonna say it because that

was mean It's hurtful. I'm hurt. It's hurting.

I'm hurting inside. I'm hurting right here in

my heart and you're doing it to me on purpose

It's rude. It's evil. It's not nice. I'm becoming

of our friendship. I tell you what. You know

what this is called, right? This is called a

running gag No, I don't like it. I don't like

it You know, I was raised by cannabis farmers

and yeah in indiana really indiana indiana oh

god the dog indiana exactly secretly i'm very

lonely where did that come from while they have

christian slater of visiting all the important

people didn't once see vanessa because that would

have been awesome Vanessa's like, oh, Christian

Slater, you're so hot. I want to be with you.

And it's like, heck yeah, you do, because I'm

Mary Sue. Kind of Mary Sue all up in the chisel.

Something inside me just broke. I have the tools

right here. Well, what good are they to him here?

Poor Agent P's. He's just a platypus trapped

in a cage, wearing a tiny hat, a little fedora.

A platypus and a fedora. Trapped by an evil scientist.

In a weird looking building. Intent on juicing

City Hall. Hey, I know that guy! I've seen your

friend! All of our other agents are busy out

in the field. If only there was a way to get

these tools to Agent Lee. Yeah, before Doofenshmirtz

juice the city hall in seven minutes! Hytale

just happens to have a seven -minute delivery.

I can get those tools to your friend. I've never

used it, but here's the 2374. Sign at the bottom

here. Here's a pen. Initial this on page two.

Put those tools in here. I've got the regulation

box. And you keep pink copy, blue copy's mine.

Good luck, young man. We could use someone like

him at the agency. Carl, why don't we have a

soundtrack plan? Schedule's gotta wait, Dad.

I have a special delivery to make. Rush House.

Tape yourselves together, boys. I've got an idea.

I know, that's how I feel all the time. You feel

like Dr. Claw. Or maybe you're Batman. You have

too much gravel in your voice. I'm Batman. Where

is he? Where are the cookies? Give me the cookies.

Here you go, dude. I'm here. Hey! Perry the Platypus!

Take that! You won't get out of there in time

to stop me! What are you doing up there? Just

wrapping up a few loose ends. Wow, metaphorical

and literal. Little dude, we should get out of

here. Curse you, Perry the Platypus! And Paul

the delivery guy! Paul! the mobile logistics

technician. Well, excuse me. Tastes like pineapple.

Say it again. Aren't you a little young to be

a podcaster? No, no, I'm not. Aren't you a little

old to be watching this cartoon show? Yes, yes,

I am. It's good to see the nation's senior citizens

taking an interest in cartooning. Yes, yes it

is. Yes it is. Hey, love handle! Hey guys, we're

covered in juice and packing tape. What does

that remind you of? T -Troy, 1984. Woo!
