Transformers: Cyberverse Season 2 Review

About this Episode
This is Optimus Prime, and you're listening to
All Things Transformers. Hello and welcome to
All Things Transformers. I'm your host, Steve
Megatron Phillips. Joining me in this adventure
into the Transformers fandom is... TFU and Mike.
Yo, so this week we are going to cover Transformers
Cyberverse Season 2. That's right, this one is
subtitled Power of the Spark. This was consisted
of 18 episodes like the first season was. This
one kind of picks up where the first one left
off, but it kind of doesn't because they kind
of go away from bumblebees memories Yeah, he's
kind of coherent again. Yeah Which I like I think
it's cool. I think it's interesting I don't I
mean I'll be honest normally when we when I say
hey Steve, let's record this it's usually 20
minutes after I've seen all 18 episodes in a
row because I have no life even without the coronavirus
and that was like two weeks ago which it is what
it is it's not that big of a deal I'm just saying
like I'm trying to remember because I didn't
like binge them again right before we started
this even though I probably should have so I'm
frantically going through tfwiki .net like reading
all the all the plot synopsis Make sure I remember
everything or most everything. Well, we got our
our run -in with shockwave Mm -hmm. Love it.
Love it. I like the the David Soboloff sounding
voice that they have for him No, don't get me
wrong. I do like Cory Burton's shockwave however,
I really love the aspect that That David Soboloff
Contributed to it in prime. Yep, absolutely And
then picking up the role in this is Ryan Andes
Yeah He's done a lot of stuff with like, you
know Yu -Gi -Oh! Pokemon Last Man and some other
stuff Cool. He's the grandson of the original
Birdman voice actor Keith Andes. Oh wow, very
cool. So yeah, he plays Grimlock, Shockwave,
Iaconis, and the Cube announcer Jerome in this
show. Very cool. So yeah, I really enjoyed how
they, the darkness that was in him. And then
he almost had this kind of, you know, he was
always this kind of mad scientist. So he kind
of always reminded me in a sense of tarantulas,
and then he actually does transform into basically
a spider or a crab of some kind Yep, which is
over creepy when you're watching this because
he has little little crab or spider drones running
around Yep Whether it be in this episode or other
ones that's basically what he's got going on
and it's it's so creepy like it reminds me of
tarantulas And that's a good thing It's not as
creepy as tarantulas because Tarantulas is just
super creepy, but it is very creepy. Yes Yeah
tarantulas is very creepy on the other hand But
no, it's it's quite humorous watching this and
anyways the plot of Majority of this is you know
they've got like the the planet smasher You've
got Hot Rod, you've got Prowl. I love the fact
that they've got some modern aesthetics to a
lot of these bots, but they've also got some
kind of new additions to their persona and to
their physical attributes. My favorite thing
so far about this series after watching the first
two seasons is that It's kind of it's not really
following the adw comics, but it kind of is Not
specifically in story wise but what they did
with a couple of characters Finally we get a
cartoon series Where hot rod and cheetor are
teamed to get hot rod cheetor and bumblebee are
kind of like the three -man team in this and
I love that you can Use hot rod and cheetor and
have Bumblebee kind of be more the mentor for
Cheetor than Hot Rod. But it's one of those things
where it's cool seeing all three of them together
and working together. And Cheetor has a really
interesting storyline here where he's trying
to fit in. Well, not only that, but he's but
he's also trying to like he realizes that his
stake in life is to protect the AllSpark. But
other than that he doesn't really know where
he fits in with the rest of the transformers
Right right. He's trying to fit in with everybody
He's trying to find his place, and I think that's
a very relatable not just to us but to kids that
might be what might have watched this like kids
of today like when we were Sit well you were
one or two at the time when I was five six and
seven eighty five eighty six and eighty seven
you know I was trying to find, as a child, relatable
traits of the original G1 Transformers. These
characters have, specifically Chidor, has that
whole, where do I fit in thing. And I think that's
relatable amongst everybody. It's not just kids,
it's not just us, it's all people. Because we're
all trying to find our way in the world and figure
out where our station in life can take us. Yeah,
totally and It's it's also cool and in this season
because you get to see There's some tropes that
come back to play Specifically Starscream swallowing
and using the power of the all spark Which he
did that in the the combiner wars? Series Where
he he took on some of that role? He also did
it and animated because he had a piece of it
in his head. Yep, and that's how he created the
seekers Yep But it's it's also funny that What
was it slipstream mm -hmm it gets to take over
the seekers Megatron's like You get to be the
leader of the Seekers now and no anything but
that And it was it was kind of funny to see that
actually happen I like the over -the -topness
that Billy Bob Thompson brings to the role in
this season He's almost got like he's almost
got a little bit of the the lot of like whining
in the character But he's also got a lot of the
Steve Bloom Like conniving and then he's he's
got the Tom Kenny from animated where he's just
like super over -the -top Mm -hmm, so it's kind
of a nice melding of in three to where it's not
annoying, but it's it's inventive Yep Absolutely
Yeah, and I just I love the way the storytelling
is done in this in this season I loved it in
the first season, but I love how The story is
moving like it's heading towards something Whatever
that may be. We don't know at this point because
we haven't done season three yet. We will at
some point here soon Take episode 10, for example,
Secret Science. That's the one where Wheeljack
and Shockwave kind of have to team up. And that
was really cool to see. Episode seven was Parlay,
where you basically see all the other Autobots
and Decepticons comment on the fact that Megatron
and Optimus's peace talks never really work,
which is it's not hilarious, but it's interesting
to see that they at least try. They're not just
out. Even though it's a war and everything else,
they're not just out to shoot each other. They
at least attempt to figure out something. Yeah.
And the other funny part is that, you know, they're
like, didn't you know there's a ceasefire? And,
you know, one of the Autobots comes crashing
in, you know, with the Decepticon through the
door. And Megatron's like, ah, forget it. This
won't work. And then he just leaves. But it almost
kind of you know again That's another like kind
of almost Beast Wars thing that happens to you
know Megatron's like I don't have time for this
crap. You know Let's let's have a little truce,
and I'll go do what I want I thought it was also
kind of funny that we get sky bite from the 2001
robots in disguise series He comes up a lot.
He's been in a number of stuff lately I think
it's I think I wonder if some of this like some
of the reasons some characters show up and whether
it be cyberverse or robots in disguise or prime
or the movies or Rescue bots is because they're
trying to reserve the copyright longer That could
be the trademark names and so And sky by they've
used him a number of times. They used him in
red as well But I thought it was kind of funny
that his nemesis was sky fire who also Still
in this used to be friends with Starscream Which
I thought was quite humorous and then Starscream
because he just doesn't want to deal with either
one of them He's like I'll be a friend to you
and you know almost like kind of Joker ish in
a sense where he's He kind of pushes him off
like hey, I'll help you out and and it gives
them some of his all -spark juice and kind of
combines, you know the helicopter with one of
them and And you know the other thing and so
or the the drilling machine and so The shark
he he becomes more or less like Beast Wars drill
bit in a sense Which is what I got out of it
then you get to see Skyfire almost be like Green
That would be ratchet no the the triple changer
oh Yeah, you kind of reminded me of Springer
there although not you know the same color because
you kind of had the the jet with the You know
the helicopter type aspect and so right I kind
of got that vibe out of it But anyways, it was
funny because then they were just pitted against
each other after that and Starscream was just
like I'm still gonna continue with what I was
doing Starscream's always gonna continue with
what he's doing. I mean doesn't matter to him
What the hell's going on around him as long as
he gets his plan taken care of I? Thought Wheeljack
was pretty inventive in this season. Although
he wasn't quite what I was expecting Some of
the names with him Yeah, but one of the nice
parts I was Intrigued with his character was
He He's he was making a mention to The Autobots
about the force field and one of the episodes.
Oh, yeah, they're still using the technology.
I created back in Cybertron He's like all you
need is this and then he just has this special,
you know device and just zaps it and then it
just goes out But it also happens to work when
he has like oh look at this magnetic gun that
I have you know and it makes picking up tools
a lot easier you know even though he's like five
feet from and could pick it up and his bubble
bubble machine that Grimlock's trying to run
in and he uses the same technology he used to
deactivate the force field to deactivate the
bubble Which again I thought was kind of cool
And then shockwaves like oh you have limited
potential, you know more or less to the wheel
jack because he's using all these tools and and
Shockwaves like I would have done something different
with these more more But yeah, I don't know there
was there was a lot of stuff going on I liked
that hot rod got Zapped into through one of the
space bridge doors which again these space bridges
were almost like Transformers Prime where they're
just all over the place But it was funny that
he ended up going to almost transformers animated
world Yeah, it was that was cool and meeting
Was that lug nut yep lug nut and lockdown Did
they call him like that in this? I don't think
so. I think they called them something. I mean
clobber That's what it was. Yeah, but it was
a girl version of lug nut. Yep, pretty much.
Yeah So But yeah, it was it was kind of neat
seeing seeing them kind of come up Just goes
to show you you never know who's going to become
a permanent and who's going to be You know kind
of displayed longer Including getting bludgeon
Yeah, getting bludgeon was kind of cool I wasn't
expecting him to be honest, but he's he's almost
got that The might of Megatron but like the conniving
of Starscream. So he's kind of like the best
of both worlds in that sense But he's just extra
creepy because he looks like a bony version of
Megatron like he it's like if you crossed Megatron
and Skeletor Oh, yeah, this is what you would
get cuz I mean you look at his chest and you
look at his head and he's just like Absolutely,
and I'm not the bludgeon is another one of those
creepy characters to me he's I Don't know I don't
dislike him, but he's not one of my favorites
either He my first introduction to him was in
the g1 Marvel comics way back when and I want
to say there were some other plot points that
I recognized from the comics that kind of came
into play although they're escaping me at the
moment I will say the the kind of plans within
a plan of having shockwave doing things behind
the scenes that that was a very comic centric
thing because in the animated stuff he's always
kind of following Megatron to a T and then you
get I thought it was kind of crazy how they were
on a it was it was basically Beast Wars but they
were on a hunt for they found vector Sigma and
then they they found you know the the planet
core Right and then shockwave injects his you
know with a spark cannon more or less and shoots
his spark into it to contaminate it and then
Cheetor is like I know what I have to do now
and Then and then he does it and it creates the
golden age of Cybertron Absolutely, what an interesting
way to do it. Yeah Because it's not like you
could use the biggest rocket engine ever built
No, no I did like how when the all spark gave
powers to Megatron and optimus and kind of gave
them you know another vehicle that tacked on
like body armor Mm -hmm. I loved how they were
Transforming and then how they their their appearances
looked Yeah, that was very cool And What was
it? They had what was it cheetor cheetor did
that to him Mm -hmm. Yeah, it was through the
all spark. I think yeah. Yeah, I Love that It's
not just red yellow or orange laser beams, but
hot rod actually has a flamethrower in his pipes
I Love that that is so friggin cool. I know that's
normally a hot shot trait, but it makes so much
sense here I think it's cool. Yeah, the Hot Rod
and Bumblebee and Cheetor more or less are the
three amigos. Mm -hmm. Yeah, and that is so cool.
Again, like I said, between the voice acting,
the animation, I don't even dislike the animation.
It was a little different at first, but I really
enjoy it. I see cyber verse as The one cartoon
so far that has managed to align almost everything
in Well, we're four years away from the 40th
anniversary, but in Transformers history I mean
they've got references to everything they've
got characters from everywhere. They've got chromia.
They've got slipstream. They've got Windblade
they've got Bludgeon they've got you know, all
these other other characters and whatnot and
it's just it's a cartoon series that I was skeptical
at first because I Figured it was more aimed
towards kids because let's face it most cartoons
today are for kids They're not for us because
we're all grown out grown up not grown out You
know but having watched the first two seasons
and Having gotten attached to most of the characters
I I would I Would dare say put this in my Top
10 best Transformers cartoons of all time. I
don't know where it would be in the top 10 but
Would almost argue that too and it's it's actually
funny because it's more coherent than a lot of
the series I Would almost argue like prime was
pretty good But it was very dark yeah I find
that despite Some of the early misgivings I had
of you know, the bumblebee memory things It helped
flesh out some areas that they didn't necessarily
have to do at certain points. Yeah But the the
funny thing was is they They seem to capture
something that's been lost since Beast Wars and
Beast Machines with this Yeah, and like I said,
it's appealing to everyone. There's something
here for everyone. There's a lesson, like I said
earlier, with Cheetor about trying to fit in.
You know, there's Bumblebee kind of becoming
a mentor to him. There's Hot Rod who is always,
you know, impestuous and ready to just go and
get it done. There's Optimus who is the, I don't
want to say old stalwart, but old stalwart of
a leader that just wants to find a way to get
things done without the violence. Even though
there is violence, obviously, it is two warring
factions of a race. And then on the flip side,
with the Decepticons, there's just certain characters
have interesting aspects to them, like what's
the not What's her name the car shit, sorry God
Percy no Shadow striker. Mm -hmm. She was the
car that got injured and got mutilated or whatever
else um, you know her whole arc or the whole
thing with slipstream in the seekers versus starscream
or any of that, um, some of the matchups between
the autobots and decepticons are Really well
done. You mentioned earlier about um sky fire
and sky bite That was interesting to me and i've
never really found sky bite to be super interesting
personally is he's just he's just not a character
I ever connected with because Wasn't a fan of
rid at the time back, you know almost 20 years
ago now So again has something for all of us
You know we can and I argue them good. Well,
I was gonna say and then Some of the the more
interesting things that they and they brought
in were the the Titans Mm -hmm One of the legendary
Titans We've gotten to meet Kroatan Mm -hmm,
which was more or less the Decepticon base and
I love the the energon lines that they put in
things Yeah, it's very cool on everything and
his form is no different Looking at it on the
the TF wiki getting to see his full body because
you more or less get to see his head and then
part of him and then he just he's gone and then
Iacones who I don't know Maybe I missed it, but
I don't think he was in the beginning of it I
don't remember. I don't remember him, but maybe
he was mentioned And Anyways, I know he he takes
place in season three. I just don't know much
more than that. Yeah but um But yeah, I I really
like the the idea of it But Yeah, I don't know
there's there's a lot going on in the show for
sure and Yeah, I mean they even had scraplets
which to begin with I was like, what are those
and then I was like, oh, yeah They're making
them bleed energon everywhere. Mm -hmm Stars
screams children. Yeah Iconis is he's according
to the TF wiki TF wiki net he is Exclusive to
this cartoon. He is not a character that came
from other Like it's not like inserting Alpha
Trion or Metroplex or Fortress Maximus or trypticon
So according to this he has only been in his
debut was the cyberverse cartoon Which is cool
and and I'm looking forward to seeing both of
them in that action. Yeah I wonder if McAdams
is gonna come back He should now this is where
I'm gonna kind of Virtually twist your arm If
you want to know more about Macadam, not Macadam
the character, but Macadam's, you've got to read
the IDW comics. Because it's Macadam's old oil
house. That was named after a fan, wasn't it?
Originally? I don't remember. Or a website. I'm
not sure, I think. I know there are other people
out there that know more about it than I do.
I just know that it's a location, it's a bar
on on Cybertron in in the IDW comics. So there's
that. Yeah, it's just so richly filled with characters,
whether they're new ones that are debuting in
this series, whether it's legacy characters and
they do it so well. Yeah, surprisingly. And and
for the for the record, he does Come back in
season 3 cool. Very cool. I Won't read on right?
Yep, we don't want to spoil it yet. Yeah So,
yeah But yeah, I don't know I'm really looking
forward to to seeing what season 3 has involved
because this like I said surprisingly I'm More
down with this than I was with like animated
Which is almost sacrilege because I enjoy all
of the voice actors immensely that are on animated
But it didn't necessarily care for the the quirkiness
And then I would tolerate from like a pinky in
the brain or animaniacs. I didn't really tolerate
it very well in transformers All right But at
the same time I don't like it is grim and dark
as prime so We're stupid as like the unicorn
trilogy or the nut 2001 read So yeah, I don't
know I it's I feel like it's hit that nice balance
and it kind of gives me a And it gives the kids
nowadays like a modern g1 that kind of touches
on all the the different aspects of transformers
Fandom and gives them a nice rounded out version
In playground of characters Yep Absolutely And
it Surprisingly, I don't know why the other seasons
haven't been added but I Recently finally after
a couple months not having it. I recently resubscribed
to Netflix Cyberverse season one is on there
I don't know why season two and three aren't
on there yet, but because it ended like Year
ago at this point or somewhere around there.
Um what cyberverse? Yeah, no it ended in February.
Oh Did it yeah, okay? Well then maybe season
two and three are gonna come on Netflix sooner
than later Because well, I don't mind watching
them on the official Hasbro transformers YouTube
channel. I'd kind of like to watch them on Netflix
It would be nice to actually watch them without
the intro outros after every episode It's not
like okay, so let's do we I don't know if we
really talked about it last time but the intro
I Know I remember I said last time it kind of
bleeds colors in the beginning between bumblebee
and wind blade But it's kind of grown on me.
I like the little bit of music. I like the the
way the vocals go. Oh my god, that's Street racing
bumblebee Knock it off hot rod hot rod get out
of the Way blur what's funny is the the third
season? It changes no what's funny is I don't
know where you're supposed to watch it other
than their official Yeah, oh, I think it's the
cartoon Network website Because the official
YouTube page for it Just released episode 6 of
season 3 one day ago. Oh Yeah, they're they're
sporadically releasing either an advertisement
for another season of another show or they're
doing One of the music pieces of the transformers
g1 series. Yep, or they're doing rescue bots
Academy or Trent the the siege war for Cybertron
stop motion stuff or Things basically teasing
other series and then they have cyber verse.
They actually have one that's like a marathon
of season two Which is what I watched because
it was all in there one And they had chapter
markers, which was quite nice But I scrubbed
through the entire three hours 15 minute season
there and so like if it got a little slow at
certain points, I would scrub it ahead but I'm
definitely looking forward to seeing What season
3 brings I have a feeling and I don't know this
but I have a feeling Rodimus is going to kick
into play Just because they they kind of made
this comment about you know prime saying to him,
you know, hey you need to Pay attention and you
know get your head on your shoulders and stop
kind of acting foolish and Headstrong and everything
Which leads me to believe that there's possibility.
He's going to get the matrix at least in one
of the dimensions because I've jumped dimensions
and I kind of liked how they played a It kind
of reminded me of Star Trek episode parallels
where war you kept jumping between different
versions of the Enterprise and They're you know
at the end of the episode they show like hundreds
and hundreds of the Enterprise D in varying states
of differences and It kind of reminded me of
the episode the crossroads where they're in this
kind of unspace area Right in season two so I
don't know there's there's a lot of nice references
in this and I am definitely intrigued for season
three Yeah, same here But so freaking lootly
now do you think that I know and I know it's
super early to tell but do you think that you're
going to be looking forward to The the new Transformers
siege war for Cybertron series on Netflix Sure,
I mean I'll check it out. I mean, I've checked
out several Netflix animated stuff animated things
I know this really isn't your bag, but you know,
whatever because I'm a fast and furious fan I
finally got to check out Fast and furious spy
racers on there. That was pretty cool. I love
Carmen San Diego That's by far my top number
one animated thing on Netflix. And I've suffered
through She -Ra and the Princesses of Power.
It's just so, I don't want to get into that here.
But yeah, no, absolutely. I mean, I've seen some
things from the War for Cybertron thing, and
when it eventually does hit Netflix, I'll check
it out. But right now I'm so engrossed in cyberverse
because it's so it's so much of a cool show Yeah,
I was I was pleasantly surprised after getting
past the first like eight episodes of season
one Mm -hmm because when you were like hey, I'd
like to tackle this Watch no exactly and I was
like Yeah, I'm like, please no, I'm like no,
please no This is not the Unicron Trilogy. Thank
you very much. I would never suggest that. And
yes, before we get any hate mail or death threats,
we understand there are fans of the Unicron Trilogy.
We're just not fans of that thing. No. So I figure
before we get out of here, we can talk about
the news that dropped on April 29th of 2020.
Exclusively from Deadline, animated Transformers
prequel activated Toy Story 4's Josh Cooley to
direct for Hasbro slash E1 and Paramount. Hasbro's
entertainment studio E1 and Paramount have quietly
hired Josh Cooley, fresh off winning a best animated
film Oscar for Toy Story 4, to direct a big scale
Transformers theatrical prequel that sources
said focuses on an origin story. Oh no. It takes
place on Cybertron, yay, on Cybertron, the planet
from which the good guy and bad guy robots came.
The film revolves around the relationship between
Optimus Prime and Megatron. Okay, cool, cool,
interesting. Script was written by Andrew Bauer,
I'm sorry if I'm mispronouncing that, and Gabriel
Ferrari, the scribes who did production work
on Ant -Man and were the credited writers on
Ant -Man and the Wasp. Hasbro slash E1 is running
point on the production of this film I'm interested
to see like I'm not like gonna make a judgment
call right away But this news was like I mean
it specifically says it's a Deadline exclusive
from April 29th of this year I'm kind of excited
because I think cyber versus kind of put me in
a new a new mode of my Transformers fandom because
it is so good and whatever. And I mean, if they
do a Bumblebee sequel, great. If they go in a
completely different direction, you know, it
is what it is. So I don't know. I think it's
cool. What about you? What do you think just
based off that little tidbit? They'd have to
do it right. And honestly, I would hope that
they would use the voice actors from Cyberverse.
Yeah. We've we've not anything against the original
actors, right? I just don't want to see another
Return Yeah, they've gotten they've gotten their
prime as it were And I think that it's I think
that it's legitimately done Yeah, I don't think
that They need to Go in that direction with with
them. I think that it's definitely a time for
a reboot in that sense The only other thing and
I don't know It makes me want to cringe It keeps
being talks of a Beast Wars movie Yeah, it's
been floating around for years, but the thing
is is in 2015 There was there was a rumor that
there was going to be a movie with you know,
the Abrams team and a multitude of other people
and The idea surfaced originally in 2009 And
then they they kept talking about it and 2013
there was talks of several voice actors of the
original series like Gary Chalk and David Kay
reprising And then it kind of fizzled out yeah,
and You know so and then in and then there was
talks that in 2019 there would possibly be one
and Lot of this is like fan speculation crap.
So like it's hard to say what's real However,
like in January movie web in other places there
were more reputable Like tea formers brought
it up Even tea formers and I remember talking
about this in 2017 tea formers talked about their
a rumor Beast Wars series in 2018 which never
happened. Although it could have had the rumor
only because in Combiner Wars they brought Optimus
Primal. Yep. So you know there's that but there
were there were rumors of that but in this year
there's another rumor of another you know one
of two Transformers spin -offs in the works and
this one It said following the release of 2018's
Bumblebee Paramount Pictures and Hasbro have
put two new Transformers movies in development
and one of them is going to be based on the iconic
90s spinoff For the time being few details are
available, but this shows that the studio is
looking to expand the scope of the franchise
and the big screen It says that James Vanderbilt
is reportedly Slated To pen the screenplay for
the Beast Wars movie, you know, obviously there's
no information But it it that was one of the
the ideas And it apparently he's written the
Amazing Spider -Man one and two Independence
Day resurgence which Quite honestly, none of
those are anything to really The Amazing Spider
-Man one yeah the other two Some of those other
credits are the rundown the losers and White
House down which White House down was the It
was the go -bots Movie to the Transformers. I
say that because Olympus has fallen Was the superior
movie and White House down came out around the
same time And White House down even right now
and I hate rotten tomatoes, but it got 51 % rotten
just by comparison I'm gonna look up Olympus
has fallen Which mind you got three sequels it
has it actually has a worse rotten tomatoes credits,
which is 49 % Which what's funny is? The the
White House down made more money It had a bigger
budget Mm -hmm, and it got the same It got About
the same rotten tomato score, but the budget
for Olympus has fallen was half of what it was
for White House down and the gross revenue was
only about 30 30 million less than the other
Wow for the for the the revenue, but it got three
sequels be or two sequels because it was actually
like good It was like a die -hard movie without
John McClane So that's why it did so well but
no, I mean honestly, it's it's it's like the
Yeah, like I said, it's it's like the the go
-bots to a Transformers movie so anyways His
most noteworthy credit is Zodiac, which again
none of these movies I really liked so it doesn't
translate well for me. Mm -hmm Not saying that
he couldn't write it. I you never know but Anyways,
this is for the second transformers movie in
development that is set to be penned by Joe B.
Herald some of his in credits include King Arthur
legend of the sword Zack Snyder's army of the
dead John Wick chapter two and three Hey That's
good That one would take place in the bumblebee
universe it says the beast were spin -off Would
more or less be a different beast entirely So
Yeah, so but it says that one of the two Transformers
spin -offs are in the work, so it doesn't say
it's green light I think that they're stoking
the fire to see if Beast Wars is actually something
people are interested in. Right. Yeah. But it's
it's, again, hard to tell at this point. Yeah,
we'll just have to wait and see. And I think
that's the thing about some of these early news
reports of, oh, there's going to be a. An animated
movie or there's gonna be this or it's gonna
be that and I love that we have initial details
that it's gonna be a Megatron and prime centric
Quote -unquote origin story. I think that's cool
But it's like I've always said until I see an
actual trailer. I Mean, I'm gonna focus on cyber
verse. I'm gonna focus on the comics I'm reading
from Transformers from IDW kind of thing, you
know I'm not going to get all up in arms about,
oh my God, look who they've hired now. And it's
going to be so bad. I don't even know what the
hell it's going to be yet. I just wish, especially
in the Beast Wars category, if it even happens,
I'd love to see it happen. I'd love to have a
G1 style universe or hell, a whole universe that
includes all of it. But, you know, whatever.
I would love to see a Beast Wars comic. Mm hmm.
from IDW, just a solely Beast Wars comic. I don't
want my Beast Wars mixed in with the G1. Just
give me Beast Wars. I know that's wrong to say,
but I just, yeah. It is what it is. I mean, we
all have our favorites and that's, you know,
your favorite and that's fine. Oh, yes, I need
Beast Wars. Mm -hmm So cyberverse season 3 is
not actually finished up yet It might be a little
while before we get to the next episode for cyberverse
It's finished as far as Cartoon Network is concerned
it because they have all the information on TFWiki
As far as the YouTube channel is concerned they
don't have it all on there Because I think that
it has to have time to air before they Can post
it yeah, so Yeah, I mean I I'm looking forward
to You know seeing where they go with it Absolutely
I Think that's about it this time around I think
so too so Next time we'll be covering season
3 Mm -hmm, even if we have to like watch it on
the network app or something or hopefully Hopefully,
I mean they seem to be releasing pretty frequently
It well about one a week so at this rate they
would finish like in August, but I don't know
There's 26 episodes in the second season so Yeah,
there's 26 instead of the normal 18. And then
they have another Megatron from another universe
who's more tyrannical and more powerful. Kind
of reminds me of Beast Wars Megatron. So he's
called Megatron X, which funny enough was an
old fandom name for somebody when we used to
play at the RPGs and the forums. He called himself
Megatron X and I was always because I always
stole the name Megatron I was like swipe Mm -hmm.
So But yeah, so anyways that about wraps this
episode up How can the good people get a hold
of you on the internets? Am on Twitter at TFG
one Mike Facebook. I think it's at TFG to Mike,
but you can find my Facebook page by doing just
TFG one Mike I'm on Instagram, but I basically
use Instagram for Watching other people More
so than both. Well, no, like okay. So no, I don't
mean it in a creepy way like Watching a band
like a band that I like watching what their stories
are or what they're doing or this This internet
famous dog that I follow Tucker buds and his
Owners put think of remember Charlie the dog.
Yeah It's that kind of thing where they're just
posting funny things from daily dog life kind
of thing. So Yeah, I see Mm -hmm. So what about
you? We're gonna be will find you well if they
want to find me I am on Twitter at SCP 21 or
at all things TFV 3 for all things transformers
And they can find me at That's right, so until
next time transform and roll out
