Year Two Wrap-Up and Year Three Preview

Well, Batsy, it's been a hoot, as always. But

Hello, ladies and gentlemen, TF2 and Mike here,

and the last episode of The Pull Bag for 2014,

at this point, was December 10th, where Nicole

Hailstorm and I reviewed More Than Meets the

Eye and Robots in Disguise issue number 28. I

did mean to have a few more pull bags out this

year. Sadly, that's not going to happen with

the holidays and everything else going on, but

I want to thank everyone who has listened and

supported me and the rest of my hosts and team

here inside the pull bag over the last two years.

We are not going anywhere. Year three has some

amazing, amazing stuff coming up. I will be doing

a year two. reflection kinda blog uh... sometime

after christmas it'll be online on the cassero

dot com uh... i just want to thank everyone for

listening for giving me feedback for interacting

with me on the comics and everything else uh...

i think this year we've Increased the pullback

isn't just DC anymore. It's not just Marvel.

It's not just superheroes We've had transformers

coverage. We've had turtles coverage. We've had

Various other coverages from image comics like

cowl and sex criminals and chew So I think this

year and year two I've really expanded the pullback

I hope everyone is still continuing to listen

and enjoy the reviews and discussions uh... and

having a blast in the podcast year three we're

gonna add another component uh... we've kind

of mixed it up a little bit uh... during year

two on far as how we cover stuff whether it's

single issues or whether it's trades or whatever

uh... honestly just depends on the host and you

know my my co -hosts and that kind of thing uh...

But but yeah, we we've really expanded in year

three. We're adding another element I am calling

them comic Terry's They're essentially film commentaries

Basically, and you might be wondering what will

commentaries movie commentaries shouldn't that

go on and wire Yeah, but here's the thing with

the pull bag. I have a very specific film genre

in mind comic book movies anything that is a

movie that came from a comic book character or

a comic in general so uh... turtles tangerine

and turtle started as a comic uh... you can expect

joe reed and i to be doing a commentary uh...

on the first film uh... from nineteen ninety

uh... dick tracy dick tracy came from a comic

book expect a commentary on that. You know, Batman,

Superman, that kind of thing. Iron Man, the Marvel

movies, Avengers. Potentially Green Lantern.

Van Wilder is as hell, Jordan. But also in year

three for The Pull Bag, we will be bringing back

Punisher Month. We will have the second annual

Marvelous March covering Marvel properties I

think this year the Marvelous March stuff is

going to be current stuff last year the first

annual Marvelous March I did a You know classic

stories from Wolverine spider -man Iron Man the

Hulk Captain America that kind of thing I think

this year we're gonna use the same characters

But we're gonna do more modern stories like what's

currently going on with the Marvel universe I

know that at this point I think we're going to

have the Avengers access Event an access revolution.

I think that's gonna be a part of Marvelous March

this year Avengers Avengers access just as about

to end issue number nine as of this recording

is coming out on december twenty fourth so you

heard jeremy fine and i talk about uh... issue

number one way back when uh... we still have

to cover issues two through nine and issues one

through four of the revolutions uh... tie -in

comic book uh... i'm interested in that i i i

have been reading along with avengers uh... avengers

and x -men access uh... and uh... really looking

forward to doing that with jeremy again we will

have sex criminals volume two with jeremy fine

and i we will have uh... chew volumes three and

four with j t from saskatoon and i there's gonna

be a little bit more batman coverage this year

uh... obviously jerry and i are going to do more

turtles coverage of steve megatron and i are

actually going to be doing them and beyond coverage

uh... coming up so that's gonna be awesome again

i just want to thank everybody for continuing

to stick with the pool bag and listen to me and

and and my friends talk about comics review them

uh... i'm still having a blast doing the show

but as i said in the beginning of this will update

December has really kicked my ass in my personal

life. I've had, you know, a lot of stress going

on with real life and everything else. But again,

I want to thank everyone. We will be having some

special stuff come up potentially for Christmas.

I don't know yet, but I just want to wish everyone

a happy holiday season and, you know, may all

your wishes come true and happy new year and

all that good stuff. uh... if there are no more

releases between now and january first twenty

fifteen just know that we are on a little bit

of a break here in the pool bag but we're gonna

come back strong because we've got uh... episode

ninety eight as i mentioned in previous episodes

of the so that it is going to be our review of

the i d w comic adaptation of the episode of

angel called smile time episode ninety nine is

going to be that may be on ten thousand clouds

and that girl beyond was the major tonight episode

one hundred is going to be a best of the poll

bag uh... so there might be a little bit of a

lapse in the numbered releases uh... and i think

that's good because that all will allow me to

do more after darks and everyone's clamoring

for after darks i just wish i could organize

more of those uh... we will be doing back issue

classics in the place of the regular numbered

episodes uh... so there still will be content

between episode ninety nine one hundred it just

might take me a little while to get to one hundred

because if it's the best of the poll bag that

means i have to go back through the first two

years of the show and get all kinds of cool clips

in various things from various hosts and whatever

else so again thank you so much i cannot tell

you folks how awesome it has been these last

two years reading comics uh... doing the podcast

uh... interacting with all the people i've interacted

with we've had some great origins episodes lady
