About this Episode

TFG1 Mike and Steve Megatron dive into the first 13 issues of Marvel's original Transformers comic series, comparing the early stories to the G1 cartoon and discussing the series' significant art and writing evolution. They explore standout moments like Spider-Man's appearance, the Dinobots' introduction, Shockwave's scheming, and the recurring deaths of Optimus Prime and Megatron, while candidly assessing why these early issues are the weakest part of the run despite Bob Budiansky's strong writing from issue five onward.

You've just jumped inside the Marvelous March

spectacular here on the pull bag. This annual

spotlight on Marvel Comics characters will be

held every March. Well, this year we are a bit

late with the spotlight, but it fits in because

we are gonna say at the end, may the fourth be

with you, as Ep 105 of the podcast will air on

Star Wars Day. For 2015, TFG1 Mike, JT from Saskatoon,

Hunnic Outcast and Steve Megatron tackle all

new characters and storylines featuring Transformers

classics Avengers and X -Men access Superior

Iron Man and Star Wars comics as they have returned

to Marvel. It's an all -new all -different Marvelous

March in its second year It's all inside the

pullback here on the keycast radio network and

now On with the show. two numbered episodes,

but it's been a long time since he's been on

here in general. We have Steve Megatron. Hello.

Hello. How are you? Doing pretty well. That's

good. That's good. And this time around Marvelous

March, as I've said in other podcasts recently

for the pull bag, it's going to be a little different.

I didn't want to just use different Marvel superhero

characters. I didn't just want to find different

Iron Man, Spider -Man, Wolverine, Captain America

stories. wanted to kind of mix it up a bit. So

in this year's Marvelous March, we're going to

have Transformers Classics Volume 1, the US classics.

We're going to have a giant size for episode

102, 103, which is Jeremy Fine and I doing Avengers

and X -Men Access. episode 104 is going to be

jeremy and i doing superior iron man one to five

and episode 105 is going to be jeremy fine and

i doing marvel star wars number ones which will

be uh... star wars number one darth vader number

one and princess leia number one but in episode

101 we start off with transformers classics volume

one now this was originally printed by marvel

uh... but idw did a reissue of it or a reprinting

uh... Since apparently it's so hard to come by

the old Marvel US stuff, right Steve? It actually

is it took me I would say probably a good Six

seven years to actually collect all of it at

one point and then I ran into money issues and

I had to sell it all I Had I mean granted I have

all the Marvel ones through a CD about years

ago And eventually my brothers, getting rid of

some of their comics, came across some of the

same G1 comics from Marvel that I owned at one

point, and they gave them all to me with the

stipulation, don't sell them again, which I won't.

I have them in my case. But I did reclaim a good...

third of my collection. I had all of them, which

kills me that I had them. But also to me, this

was my Transformers line. Nevertheless, I mean,

because I got them out of a quarter bin when

I started collecting them. And then I'd find

them, you know, some of them were more than a

quarter. They'd be, you know, as much as five

bucks for an issue, depending because of rarity

and quality. But to me this this was my Transformers

comics much to the degree that a lot of people

enjoy the IDW stuff now I I had a hard time wanting

to get into anything new and I still do to this

point not saying that I don't enjoy some of the

IDW stuff I've read but I'm not saying that these

are gems either because they're not The writing

style and the graphics change periodically as

technology allows them to change the printing

styles and the graphical styles. And to be truthful,

a lot of the stuff in the 80s looked like crap.

It just did. So this is not by any means a perfect

product. And it does get better as it goes along,

but then it starts getting into the realm of

where they have eyeballs and all that. It does

get weird, but To me this is this has always

been my line. I've always liked this a lot more

I think the only thing akin to this that I enjoyed

more than this was the Dreamwave line Which sadly

took a nosedive? But yeah, I I actually I Enjoyed

a great Portion of these stories and a lot of

the one -offs that they had that were included

in the series because not everything was connected

It was you know, they did have arcs, but they

also had separate episode or issues as well.

So For me I you know people listen to the pull

bag in our three -year history here in the podcast

if you listen to any of them Robots in disguise

or more than meets the eye episodes. You'll know

that the IDW transformers was my first for a

into Transformers comics. I started with the

Death of Optimus Prime and I kind of went up

to Dark Cybertron and I'm kind of hit or miss

at this point with the Transformers titles from

IDW. But for me, I didn't grow up with this.

I didn't read a lot of comics. I was reading

more fictional books like the Hardy Boys and

that kind of stuff as a kid. So for me, I knew

of comics as a kid, but I don't remember really

having too many comics as like, you know, six,

seven, eight year old kid. Um, and the only Transformers

literature that I remember as a child was that

really, really weird wheelie storybook where

they tell you the origin of his hometown or his

home planet and some it was some weird wheelie

children's story i no clue so because these were

originally marvel comics that's how they fit

into marvelous march even though i read the idw

reprinting what i found out from the wonderful

people over at tfwiki .net is that the reprinting

i bought on comixology was the second reprinting

of the classics the first reprinting did not

include Transformers classics volume one did

not include issues three and nine because they

had non Hasbro characters in them, but apparently

IEW got the rights and in their second reprinting

were able to put the non Hasbro characters in

hence why The characters you're referring to

in this about anyway issue three has spider -man

the with the symbiote of Venom involved in the

issue, which again, it's kind of jarring for

the jump in the stuff. But it's also a good issue.

I keep wanting to say episode. And then the ninth

one, you get into Circuit Breaker, G .B. Blackrock,

and the... Those kind of characters there who

end up doing their own like kind of superhero

stuff later on in the series as well as I think

they had their own comic at one point mm -hmm,

so Right absolutely so Transformers classics

volume one This has 13 the first 13 issues in

it and The first writer and artist on the first

issue was Ralph Macchio, and no, I don't think

that's the Karate Kid people. The second one

had Jim Solikrup, and then second and third one.

And then after that, the fourth issue, the last

stand, was also Jim. By the fifth issue, we have

New World Order, and this is where Bob Budahanski

takes over. And Bob pretty much writes it through

the end of yeah, he writes from issue 5 to 13

I like Bob's writing the best the first four

issues were just They just felt like they were

and this is coming from someone who Grew up watching

the cartoon. So yes, I'm gonna compare it it

really felt like a really really piss -poor version

of what the cartoon did to adapt these stories

because The first issue you have the fight between

the Autobots and Decepticons You have them fleeing

to earth You have the whole asteroid belt thing

and then by the time they get to earth you have

them, you know being you know, the Teletran one

or the arc or whatever you know coming back to

life after four million years and reinvigorating

all of them and it's very similar to more than

meets the eye three -parter and several of the

other episodes from season one of the Marvel

Sunbow cartoon series I gotta say folks I said

this on Twitter and I'll say it again here Don't

think I would be the Transformers fan I am today

if I had grown up with these things Because these

to me are just it's not the writing It's not

the right. It's the art. The art is so atrocious

Yeah, I mean there's no consistency. I'll give

you that and the colors are just bad, but It's

not overall but bad enough or jarring enough

to dissuade me from what or Reading it yet reading

it and I Again it gets better as it goes along,

but I think that in especially in the first issue

I think my favorite scenes are seeing some of

Cybertron Yeah, that is very cool You know kind

of pre You know you'd see primes form beforehand

you get to see you know various robots you get

to see You know I'll try on you get to see A

lot of them, their images are reminiscent of

their tech spec image, which was ungodly bad

at that time too, because of course they're trying

to sell the toys. I think the best scenes in

this entire comic, in the first issue anyway,

is the arc scene where they're rebuilding them,

except for the fact that they have to go through

and have a conversation with every freaking character

and they name each other in their conversation.

It's kind of like... Good thing Gears, and then

it says, well, old Ratchet, and then, and Wheeljack

is the guy, and then, you know, and then they

just kind of keep going through, and it gets

a bit jarring in the first issue, at least. Yeah.

Very much so. But then, you know, you get into

the second issue, and you get in, you know, the

tape decks, you get the Decepticons attacking,

you get Sparkplug and Spike Witwicky. Notice

you don't have or no, it's buster. It's not spike

spike doesn't come in until like the like the

30s Yeah, which is the older brother of buster

who's basically like Sam in the TV series yeah,

and You know you get Busters friends in there

you get you know prime their primes head is the

most inconsistent damn thing in this entire run

for the first 13 issues. Same thing with Megatron.

Their head changes from block to block. They

never look the same. And to me, that's one of

the most jarring things to look at is because

you're like, is this the same character? But

some of the battles that go on, especially between

Megatron and Prime, are actually kind of cool.

It just it boggles my mind how They can have

the black symbiote spider -man in issue 3 yet

They can't make Megatron's head black and gray

instead of blue Like I understand blue yellow

red white orange, green. I understand all of

these were the colors at the time, but it's like...

I think the shading, I think the way they were

trying to shade the robot heads and their weapons

and like, you know, you look at Starscream, you

look at, you know, the other characters that

are blue or black elements on them and they just

kind of... pieces look off. I mean, yeah, they

all look blue. I give you that. There's no explanation

for that. And when they're in the robot forms,

they look great. Or not in their robot forms,

their vehicle forms. They look great. But then

you get to the robot forms and there's no consistency

whatsoever. And Soundwave is, for all intents

and purposes, completely purple. I know he's

a bluish -purple kind of thing, but he's not

supposed to be like that. And then I enjoyed

the issue of having Spider -Man work with gears.

Yeah, that was good awesome and then thinking

that gears died Yeah, and and he's like, I'm

sorry, I just I couldn't hold him and They're

like, oh we don't we don't have death the same

way you do and spider -man kind of goes on his

way like see you later and You know, they rebuild

him and everything but it was just It was kind

of funny and then and then you get spark plug

Basically poisoning the Decepticons Yeah, I don't

it's so funny now. I like I said in the beginning

of this episode I've been reading off and on

the latest IDW more than meets the eye title

and robots and disguise or formerly known as

robots and disguise just now known as Transformers

in the robots and disguise title Thundercracker

is on earth and he has a dog named Buster and

I'm thinking it's a reference to this kid Buster

and I'm like Buster Witwicky that's just the

worst name in the world I mean that's like where's

Mega Man when you really need him I don't know

man it's just and having the father's name be

spark plug it just it's one one part of the story

I just don't agree with and then the his friends,

Jesse and Oh. Oh, yeah. Jesse didn't bother me.

It's it's no, Jesse. Yeah, I always was like,

is she saying Jesse? Oh, but it didn't dawn on

me that every scene that was in, she says Jesse.

Oh, but it's funny because Jesse's and like,

as long as you see Buster, Jesse's around pretty

much. And she's always wearing legs. Skin tight

clothes like with a bathing suit or like real

skimpy amount of clothes, which is hilarious

Because nowadays they're like, oh you can't show

that even though they do to some degree Yeah,

I didn't have a problem always kind of just the

most useless character Jesse was more of like

the eye candy of the comic come kind of like

the a Mixture of what we got in the films, but

more intelligent Did enjoy where they brought

in an issue for the four million years ago Element

and Antarctica and they they show that the That

the drones had scanned shockwave and incinerating

dinosaurs and then they are creating the art

that I like Dino bots To fight off shockwave

to keep them from attacking the arc Yeah, see

I always thought like when I got to them like

ooh Antarctica ooh the the The person or the

button the ice is gonna be jet fire sky fire

what like I'm thinking okay cartoon Like you

know I'm thinking the cartoon series I'm thinking

of fire on the mountain that episode in g1 where

they find sky fire and everything else and Obviously

the cartoon had to change the name that couldn't

be got you couldn't be called jet fire because

of some macross thing or whatever the hell Um,

but yeah, no, to find out that it's shockwave

in the ice and Lately since I've been back since

I've been into comics full -time now I've found

that in several transformer stuff that I've read

over the last two three four years at this point

Shockwave and the Dinobots always fight each

other everything In Transformers Fall of Cybertron,

the little small comic that went along with the

Fall of Cybertron game, it was Shockwave versus

the Dinobots. In Rage of the Dinobots, it was...

It's kind of their thing, the two of them. The

Dinobots and Shockwave are kind of always at

ends. Don't have a problem with it. I just found

it interesting that even this far because like

I said I hadn't I never grew up on this I've

never until until this recording I had never

read any of the Marvel stuff So I'm finding this

out for the very first time and it's one of those

things where it's like oh So they've been fighting

each other for 31 years now And I think it's

hilarious though and when you get to the fourth

issue and spark plug You know the poison and

the Decepticons finally takes hold and the Autobots

are like we win and then Shockwave blows them

all away and You know says the Autobots are no

more and The the fifth issue is Basically, you

know all are dead Is the name of the issue? It's

missing one word It should be till all are dead,

but I understand why it's not there. They didn't

really have the matrix to that point Yeah, they

have the creation matrix, which is completely

different beast But I did like seeing the impaled

torsos of the Autobots hanging from the ceiling

True in the arc and then you know Megatron is

in the The ship with wires all connected to them

and Think it's hilarious how the cover will have

one title and then you get inside and it's completely

different title Like all are dead the new world

order, you know and then they do all the backs

backstory and Ratchet's pretty much the only

one not Dead or damaged yeah I'm liking that

age of extinction. Yeah. Well, and then and then

you get prime attached to like millions of cables

Because shockwave wants his creation matrix and

prime transfers it much like the movie To except

he didn't do it. It was you know numb nuts. It

did it himself But he transfers it to buster

for safekeeping so that shockwave can't get his

hands on it but then you you end up with you

know, the GB black rock and later on and in shockwave

blowing away the bases and You have his secretary

who gets Transformers gear Basically Yeah, I

do like the fight between shockwave and Megatron

though which may be Yeah, that was kind of interesting

to me because You have shock. I'm used to Starscream.

I'm used to any version of Starscream saying

Oh, Megatron, it's my time to lead now. You've

failed us. You've done this. You've done that.

How do you feel, mighty Megatron? All this stuff

and everything else. So I'm so used to Starscream

doing that. I'm used to Shockwave being the loyal

servant. But you know him from the cartoon. Well,

I also know him from the IDW comics. I'm telling

you. I know you're not that interested in those,

but I'm telling you, it is by far the best origin

of Shockwave we've ever had. Yeah, I'm not too

familiar with what happened there, but... It's

awesome. In Dreamwave, he was like the spawn

of Unicron. That's just a cop -out. Well, yes

and no. He was summoning Unicron too. the planet

around the time that they cancelled the comics.

And he also harnessed the power of the Matrix

and fought Prime and Ultra Magnus as White Prime.

He also defeated Megatron in that series too.

I just find it really interesting reading this

and finding out that Shockwave also has his own

plans here and he wants to do his own thing and

he feels that Megatron is not, you know, doing

his job and is a good enough leader and Megatron's

just sitting there biding his time, like, you

know, you do what you gotta do, Shockwave. You're

gonna get yours in the end. Well, little do they

know, they're both screwed, but... True. You

know, then you jump ahead an issue and you've

got ratchet cooking hot dogs for camp campers

And then You know buster explaining that he put

wires from Optimus Prime's head and get electrocuted

and given the creation matrix That was one thing

I never got. When I was reading, I'm like, why

is he doing that? Does he want to become an Autobot,

really? Seriously? Are we pulling an Autobot

spike here? I never got that scene with Buster

trying to electrocute himself. I do think it's

funny they got GB Black Rock's assistant. Hooked

up to machines and then because she's basically

paralyzed in the vegetable so they end up creating

something for but and you can see ratchet walking

into the the the horror pit of the Autobot base

which is terrible for a medic or You know anybody

in general And then Megatron comes to Ratchet

for help which again those two come full circle

by the end of the series Yeah Which you'll see

later on they they come to blows a couple times

during this series Which is actually remarkable

to see the two of them Having to work with each

other and fight each other because Megatron is

this superior every way But they still have to

work together and ratchet is smarter and Megatron's

brute force But I do think it's funny that the

two of them work together and they explain about

the Dinobots and Megatron and Ratchet basically

create a bond to destroy Shockwave. Yeah, that's...

Bloodbond with their fuel. That's one way of

doing it. After a while, after reading the first

five issues out of this 13, I just kept seeing

so many parallels to what I know from the cartoon

series and I'm like... I kept saying to myself,

the cartoon looks so much better. The cartoon

did this story so much better. Don't get me wrong,

I love Bob Budiansky and I love how he, you know,

is writing the characters. But again, I have

to fault the art. Like, what were these people?

Like, is this the only thing they were working

on at the time? I just... As we've already said,

for me, this is so not my art style. It's not

mine either and it does get better later. It's

already better than what it was in the first

four issues, so I'm not complaining. I do love

when they do finally revive the Dinobots. Ratchet

plugging into the brains and then Ratchet has

the Dinobots take down Megatron. Yeah and Essentially

Megatron takes himself down By bumping in a ratchet

and standing on the edge of the cliff which collapses

and he transforms into a gun and is eaten by

the snow And circuit breakers just a crazy bitch

she is she is to she gets worse later on She's

got this intense phobia of robots, so she has

this mission that she's headhunting them later

on. Literally headhunting them. And then Blackrock

is doing almost the Dark Knight Returns slash

Tony Stark kind of thing in the beginning of

the next issue and explaining the whole situation.

And Ratchet revives the Autobots. More or less

and has optimus primes body which is completely

white Because somebody forgot to color it in

oh You mean that's not an ultra Magnus repaint

You know, then you see all the Decepticons you

see primes primes head and then crazy ass circuit

breaker and She reminds me of a psycho version

of Jessica Morgan For those that may not know

Jessica Morgan was a character in the return

of Optimus Prime in season 3 where She got injured

in a Decepticon battle and had to have the Autobots

had these Automatic leg break it. It's probably

got the idea for her character Right. That's

what I'm saying That's what I'm saying. Circuit

Breaker is a more psycho version of Jessica Morgan.

It's like if you mixed it with Witchblade. Yeah,

pretty much. Or, you know, this is the early

version of Forrest Gump's braces. Run, Forrest,

run! And then you get the constructicons and

you get Soundwave who makes this massive cable

system. He just attaches to this massive satellite

dish. Yeah, I did like everything to do with

Soundwave and Shockwave in this series. In this

volume one of classics in these first 13 issues,

Soundwave looks so badass. And it's funny because

the Autobots scanned the combiner to save for

later. Yep. Which they do. Yep. And I did like

seeing them in there, finally. the the Constructicons

and some various Decepticons and Yeah, it was

pretty awesome seeing the Constructicons in comic

form now by issue 11 They all start taking better

form like they're gonna start getting better

primes head starts looking normal bumbably It

looks like his cartoon version You know the humans

look more like humans You get sky fire in there

who's being controlled by Shockwave Right And

attacking the Autobots and then of course 12

you've got the decoy prime Yeah, the prime problem

the fake head You know the the one that's that

essentially Skyfire drops off and they hand it

to Prime and they put it on his head and they

start taking out the Autobots one by one. And

then the real Prime controls through Buster the

Skyfire and puts his real head back on after

all the Autobots are slagged. Which is funny

like I said, it reminds me so much of the prime

problem episode because you have two optimus

primes and one of them is Stars cream. I'll tell

you one thing that really pissed me off about

this that this entire first volume is Oh's father

Where the fuck did he get an optimus prime suit?

No, I'm talking about right this is like issue

five or six or, I don't remember where the hell

it is, but the guy, Buster's friend's father

has an Optimus Prime suit. Are you kidding me?

Oh my god. Yeah, I don't know. Just no, just

no. But I do think that the... You know seeing

prime finally come back and take down the The

take down shockwave and the Decepticons was great

and then the the transference of the creation

matrix back to prime reminded me of the black

arachnia Megatron moment and Beast Wars And then

They They tease the next issue with Megatron

returns and it's it's called The menace of Megatron

and it just has somebody holding him as a gun

you get this guy running from the Basically the

mob and he reaches back and finds a gun Megatron

and then he shoots these guys and then a laser

comes out and just wipes them out And then he's

like, oh How'd that happen? I didn't even touch

the trigger. Yeah, and then he's like, what are

you and and He's like to answer your question

fleshly I am Megatron after he transforms and

explains like the entire backstory of him And

mega translate my higher brain functions were

apparently disconnected I can no longer think

for myself. I can only react to what I'm told

or asked He says so you mean you'll do whatever

I want you to do and he says yes So the guy's

picking fights with all these mobsters and like

everybody else and he's got the gun and At one

point he's like I'm sick of this stupid gun and

then ends up basically saving himself with it

The funniest part is like he ends up like a big

shot by the end of the issue with all the money

and kicking everybody's ass and then Finally

Megatron heals And the guys like cocky and it

says Megatron, what are you doing transforming

without my saying so Megatron How dare you here

or you dare claim to control me? No one tells

Megatron what to do least of all a human for

your insult You shall die and then he just shoots

him Adam and misses Tells him he's gonna turn

him into a Bolton pile of slag essentially and

Basically tells him he's gonna kill him and Megatron

spares him Kind of reminds me of the whole thing

in the ultimate doom was Starscream and dr. Arkeval

where he's got him. He's like, you know No, Dr.

Archibald, this, you know, you are my slave now.

Well, it's funny because the human explains,

you know, everything, you know, everything to

Megatron. Megatron's like, you surprise me, Fleshling.

He's like, it is deserving of Megatron's respect,

not his wrath. He says, but beware, if you try

to give me an order again, you will die. And

then he just leaves. He's like, I got my own

war to fight. The guy gets arrested. So it was

kind of interesting. But the funny thing about

this series and you know how many times Optimus

and Megatron die is just uncanny. Yeah, they

like you could almost consider that they've already

technically died once. Both of them, technically.

Even though Megatron really didn't he just kind

of got his ass beat and Prime did get dismembered

So technically I count that as a death It happens

about every 10 to 15 issues Yeah throughout the

series I mean there are points where they both

disappear for a while like you'll stop seeing

Prime at one point and then You'll see like Grimlock

be the leader and you'll see Fortress Maximus

be the leader then you'll see Prime come back

to be the leader, then you'll see somebody else

go to be the leader, and the Decepticon's the

same thing. I mean, you'll see Ratbat be the

leader, you'll see... You think I'm kidding.

No, I know you're not, because in the IDW continuity,

he is a senator in the beginning of the Transformers

series for IDW. And you'll see, like, Scorponok

become the leader, you'll see Starscream become

the leader. You'll see Galvatron. You'll see

Megatron at the same time as Galvatron. Different

universes. But yeah, it's just it's it's amazing

what happens in this series. It does, like I

said, it does get better and the plots do get

better. Like you end up with an issue called

the smelting pool. And I will say the next few

after this, like 14. Is trail breaker breakers

like he's got a band 15 robot master Which Megatron

and all the Decepticons are using is like a PR

stunt like the robot masters claiming to control

the the the robots and saying that the Autobots

are evil and It's just a guy doing You know a

news thing Right I forget, 16, I think they blow

up Bumblebee. It's like Bumblebee versus Averitas

Epikon. And then 17's like Blaster on Cybertron.

Like it completely jumps. Like there's no more

Earth for a little bit there. And then they bring

it back to Earth. Like a couple issues later.

And it's with completely different robots. And

then eventually you end up by like, I think issue

24 with Prime and Megatron playing a video game

to the death. Dang so it's like torque three

It's like playing it's like they got locked into

Tron like prime and Megatron and whoever loses

the the fight and like the protective bots are

in it and I can't remember what the other the

Decepticon squad was but Like the loser has to

Be terminated with the remote stick And the way

that it goes down is just stupid. Yeah, I'm not

sure, ladies and gentlemen, if I will be doing

the Transformers classics coverage again. If

Steve wants to do it with someone else, he's

more than welcome to. But after reading these

first 13 issues, I don't know if my brain can

take more of this. Like I said, these are probably

the worst of the series right here, which again,

it's not... it's not saying much but this is

this beginning part of the series it's just terrible

i have a hard time even wanting to open the books

to this day because they really don't start getting

good until issue 17 when the cybertron part comes

yeah i mean i really wanted to give this a try

i really wanted to see if i was gonna like it

and i just don't folks i'm sorry i just don't

i don't This is a suggestion and a challenge

to you. If I come up with a top ten issue to

read of this Marvel series, would you be willing

to read them? If I come up with some that are

the best of the best out of this series that

outshine everything else that's in it? This like

like I said, the art does change the stories

do change some of a lot of I could pick one -offs

too because there are plenty of those I like

I enjoyed the g2 series for Marvel a lot more

than I did the g1 But that's because it makes

light references to the g1 and the g2 Starts

hitting on a completely different level, right?

Which I wish they would have continued with but

it got canned after 12 issues. Yeah Think at

this point for classic transformers coverage

in the bull bag. I I Kind of want a taste of

everything. So we've already we got a taste of

Marvel here. Maybe in December We'll do a Dreamwave

episode where we if they're I don't know if IDW

has ever done I will say that there are many

many series in Dreamwave There's the there's

three initial runs of the actual transformers

Two mini series and then one regular series ongoing

that they had And then there's the two I think

three war within Which they never get to finish

the third one Which was again those those were

really good but I think you'd almost have to

choose like a war within and a One of the regular

ones right Mean I just don't know at this point

I'll come up with the top ten of the best of

the Marvel run. Yeah, and then have you read

those Okay Because I really just like after reading

these it's like these make you want to punch

yourself in the face I'm not gonna lie. Yeah

They really do folks I would rather and I'm not

saying anything bad about these ones I would

rather read the transformers animated comics

over and over again then then read this again

Well, they did make armada and energon comics

and dreamwave They were actually pretty good

It's the series the TV series Mm -hmm that shit

horrible the comics were actually pretty damn

good and It didn't just stay with That continuity

they actually jumped over a little bit Right,

right. Like I said folks. I am willing to look

at other Clariot classic transform like I just

pulled up last stand of the records on On comics

ology So, you know, I'm like I said, I'm I'm

interested but and I will be willing to try what

you're suggesting with the best of but I just

don't know, folks. It just makes me want to hit

my head against my desk, folks. uh... coming

up next time on the poll bag we have a giant

-sized episode for episode one of two and one
