another Back Issue Classics episode here inside

The Pull Bag and... Wasn't sure what we were

gonna be able to do For the end of December here

in 2014 those holidays are a pain in the neck

For when you're trying to do something responsible

they are For this fun stuff. Yeah, it gets in

the way But actually we kind of since I look

back at the calendar and realize that for Wednesdays

December is a five -week month. Oh shoot, that's

gonna be expensive. Well, we're in December.

Oh, it was? Okay, so it was expensive. Actually,

that would explain why early in the month there

were a couple of weeks where I only got a book

or two. I bet that even the companies spread

out their month. Oh, yeah. So we are here yet

again, another Bag Issue Classic, and of course,

Dave Chairman Mike, joining me once again from

off the cuff is Joe Reed. Hello, sir. Hello,

hello. And yes, so we've had This month we had

in week one for December We had the after dark

where myself lady wreck and Nicole hailstorm

talked about IDW's next new thing Gem of the

holograms is coming March 2015 as a comic book

series Then the following week in week two of

December, Nicole and I did Transformers More

Than Meets the Iron Roast in disguise number

28. And then last week we had a content update,

basically saying why we may or may not have content

these last two weeks of the month. And this week

we've got TMNT from IDW, TMNT the main ongoing,

Tom Walz, Bobby Kernow. Kevin Eastman, issues

number 39 and 40. So we are going to have those

two here inside the pull bag for this Back Issue

Classics episode. And at the end of the show,

we're going to go through solicitations. I don't

remember if we hit issue 41 solicits when we

did. Episode 90 91 that giant size for the last

time we did one of these things so we are gonna

might be Redoing some of these solicits, but

we are gonna do them through March. So you're

gonna hear stuff about TMNT 41 through 44 and

don't worry about spoilers because I don't know

anything about those issues either so we're just

gonna You know, that's what the solicits I sometimes

I feel like they blow the surprise and and I

don't exactly know A lot of solicits aren't for

us, are they? They're for the dealers, aren't

they? They're for the dealers, and they're for

the comic shops, so the comic shops know what

to buy. So they're not necessarily for us, but

it's nice to see what's coming. Some of the solicits

do spoil stuff. I will try not to spoil things.

uh... at this point we're going to go over these

solicits to let you know what to get excited

for exactly that's uh... and coming up in twenty

fifteen for the pullback winner announced this

now i have not figured out how or what it's going

to be called there what kind of special segment

it's going to be the podcast but i am going to

start doing monthly solicitation episodes from

various companies that I read comics from. So

IDW, DC Marvel, Image, that kind of thing. So

that way we don't necessarily have to tie them

into a review episode. So far, just looking at

issues 41 and 42, there's not too many spoilers

in the solicits. I'm not sure about 43 and 44.

We're also at the end of the show going to talk

about the next new spotlight mini -series that

IDW is doing for Turtles. So that'll be that.

But for now, we have to talk about issue number

39 of IDW's TMNT. The main cover is Rocksteady,

Slash, Bebop, Raf, Um, who else is... Yeah, that's

pretty much it. Is the four of them on the main

cover. I don't see Raph. Uh, maybe it's... No,

maybe it's... I think that's Bebop's boot. I'm

sorry, Bebop's boot. Yeah, it's Bebop's boot

and it's Slash's hand. It's the red. It always

confuses me. Um, what do you think of the main

cover here? Uh, Santalucca has been doing some

incredible things with the covers. And some of

those solicits when we went over those before

and I got to see some of the upcoming covers

that you E -mailed to me. I'm just blown away

by what he's doing great work absolutely So issue

39 opens up with Rocksteady and bebop Talking

about Joining up with Hobbs army without telling

Karai about it Where I can't remember did they

Did they actually know okay at the at the end

of 38 the last page of 38 was saying hi Pete

you guys want to join an army and it was him

Approaching Rocksteady and be so I haven't joined

them yet. They haven't joined them yet. That's

what's gonna happen or not happen in this issue

So, this poor homeless guy is like, spares some

change, fellas. He doesn't even look at them.

He just sticks his cup out. And Bebop has this

giant ass chainsaw in his left hand. And the

poor dude's like, um, never mind. Like, they

don't even care that there are these ugly, hideous

mutants walking down the road. I don't even they

don't even pay him any attention at all they

they just keep talking and walking and then they

come up next to an ATM machine and Well, they

got to get cash somehow. So go Rocksteady just

Bops the hell out of the machine. I tell you

Bobster. I love being a rhinosaurus It's just

it's just so silly I'm surprised that I like

them because you know I there was that time where

I didn't like Bebop and Rocksteady as much as

like Peter Laird didn't like it he was never

going to bring them into the Mirage universe,

but the way that IDW has handled them and what

they're doing with them. I'm a big fan of how

they've made them work Absolutely, so they smashed

the ATM they get all the dough And speaking of

breakfast, we go to, you know, cooking with Mikey,

the next Food Network chef star, or whatever

the hell. Oh my God, I could just see Mikey on

one of those damn cooking challenge shows. I'd

love to see, I know you probably don't watch

this, because I know you probably don't watch

reality TV. There's a show on the Food Network

with Guy Fieri called Guy's Grocery Games. It's

basically four chefs have to cook in the middle

of a supermarket. And they have all these different,

I would love to see Mikey on one of those kinds

of shows. But we get to Mikey. And sunny side

up, over easy, boiled. I don't know why you waste

your time asking me that, Mike. It always ends

up being scrambled eggs and burnt toast with

you anyway. And yeah, Mikey burns the toast and

scrambled it is. Leo comes back. It still bothers

me. As much as I like the art here, it still

bothers me seeing these egg -shaped turtles without

their masks on. That bothers me, seeing it with

the masks on, because it just makes their cranium

seem so huge. And see, Raph doesn't look like

he has... No, he doesn't. You're right. You look

at the panel where Leo says, morning, guys, when

Leo walks in. Mikey and Leo both look like they

have these giant green egg -shaped heads. And

then you look at Raph right there, and Raph looks

like a regular, you know, like we've always known

for turtles. And it's just so weird. I wonder

why, yeah, that would be worth questioning him

about when we someday get him on the show. Yep,

yeah, I'm trying to get an interview with Tom

waltz for us here on the podcast so play that'll

happen Sometime next year maybe in January or

February So They're talking about you know the

plan they're talking about Donnie and the fact

that Donnie's made his choice and and Splinter

is still on his path of attacking Saki instead

of going after Krang and And Mikey comes in,

well, let's worry about that later. It's time

to scarf some breakfast. Just be careful of shells

in the eggs. And Lent. Father, what's your plan

for surviving Mikey's cooking? Retreat? Retreat?

They need to do this more often they need to

have Donnie in the trench coat and fedora way

more often because I love undercover Don I used

to have that toy Absolutely, so he goes over

to Harold's place or Kirby fans place and Kirby

fan and angel are watching somehow somebody got

oh the suit. It's yeah, it's the fight where

You know pecs got involved right figure out who

it was. Hey, you need a you need a higher resolution

camera with everything else I've got to do with

the last thing and so they're already arguing

as Donnie walks in And I and I just love how

Harold just does the the snappy remarks because

Donnie asked him, what are you doing? Upgrading

helmet cams apparently. So Donnie is super uber

pissed about the fact that Harold is doing all

this other stuff and not focusing on the main

issue at hand. And we see something out of Donnie

here that we haven't seen. Like we hardly ever

see Donnie explode, and he does. And it's kind

of refreshing for me to see Donatello portrayed

as this character. It gives him so much more

depth. And this is after Turtles in Time, where

we saw the future, where Don kind of pulled away

from the team, and very likely the rest of the

Ninja Turtles are dead because of, loosely based,

because of what Donatello did, and now he knows

that he's coming here. trying to stop that from

happening, already breaking away from the turtles,

which, hey, is that the right move or not? You

know, it might not be, but Donnie knows what

he needs to do, and when the other people, when

Master Splinter isn't helping him with it, and

now when Kirby Fan's not helping him with it,

we get this scene where he pulls a raft and just

flips out on these guys. And it's so refreshing,

you're right, it's so character -driven. And

it's pointing him in a direction that, like,

we're used to Donnie just being the silent genius.

The guy who makes, you know, quips at, you know,

at Casey or something like that. Or just being

the stereotypical nerd, like they made him in

the new movie, which was just like Revenge of

the Nerds, no character at all besides quoting

percentages of success. He's a real character

in this book. This is a scene where we get to

see the whole picture. Yeah. I can't wait till

we start Comic Terry's next year because we are

so doing the 2014 film. Does that mean that I

need to actually buy it? Because I've told myself

I want to. You could always just rent it on iTunes

or whatever. You don't have to buy the thing.

I don't have to download iTunes to do that. Oh,

that's right. You're one of those iTunes haters.

So Donnie and Harold have a little face off and

Harold just turns around. And Angel pretty much

knows that that's her cue to bolt. And she says,

Don, cut Harold some slack, will you? Dude's

been busting his ass for all of us. And again,

I'm used to seeing Raph do the damn and it just

I don't know it it doesn't It's not that it doesn't

feel natural for me for Donnie to say it But

it's just so strange to see him say damn and

you know really have it be like an emotional

kind of thing So they get to work we see a message

from the fugitoid and apparently apparently Krang's

timetable has moved up which is not good at all

so they're continuing on to get the Get the portal

done and Harold says as it is I'm having an easier

go at matching up your fugitoids journal notes

to a the primer he sent you I'd estimate I've

translated 95 % successfully and the other 5

% will have to rely on my genius and some luck

So so we get to Donnie looking at metalhead and

he's gonna try to work on him we go back to the

shop and yeah hey guess what folks it's family

time with Casey and April's parents I I'm not

sure how I feel about these this whole scene

because I mean, yeah, it was needed, but it's

just so strange to go from Raph, April or Raph,

Mikey and Leo and Splinter to Donnie and Angel

and Harold. Now we go to Casey and April's parents.

When I talked to Waltz at that comic convention,

gosh, in October, November, I don't even remember

now, I kind of asked him about Casey's story

only because I think it was a couple of issues

ago Casey went got himself in trouble and April

slugged him and I when I saw that I read oh man

that's abuse she's gonna be in it he's gonna

be in an abusive relationship you know he was

with his father hitting him now April's hitting

him oh my gosh drama and I think that moment

And in some of the letters columns in the last

issue that came out, that addresses that, Tom

was very big on saying, no, no, it was just a

love, a friendly thing. It wasn't like that.

But he says that Casey's story arc is going to

be finding a family with April's parents and

finding a place at the antique shop in their

home. And so that's kind of what we're doing

with this scene, but it doesn't... I can maybe

I see what you're saying that it doesn't fit

with everything else. It's not as intense as

all this other building drama. I mean, that's

kind of like, you know, Raph having his super

intense fight with the foot and him getting beat

the hell out of. And then, you know, you go to

a comedy scene with Mikey making a joke, you

know, I mean, and I'm not sitting here trying

to bash the 90 Turtles film. I'm absolutely not

doing that. I'm just saying like, Any time in

anything it doesn't matter if it's a comic a

TV show a movie Cartoon if you have a super serious

moment, and then you immediately cut to a comedy

bit. It just feels weird to me And this isn't

really comedy you're right. It's it's It's setting

up Casey's story with her parents and as you

said you know finding him finding an actual family

and because let's face it He has no no dad anymore

Like he ever did in the beginning, but Well,

I think this scene doesn't even it's not even

setting anything setting anything up. It's just

continuing it at this slow pace this I don't

know. It's like a a British film yeah So we get

to we go back to angel when she was at her dad's

bar and Alo Peck shows up I love the juxtaposition

in the image of Angel who is god knows how tall

compared to Alopex. That just looks so cool.

Yeah. You get a sense of scale with that. I've

never even noticed how tall she was compared

to the turtles or anybody else before. Oh yeah.

So she and um, she and Alopex have some talks

and... They need to find a way to help out the

Turtles and Splinter and everything else. And

Alopex is going to get Angel to the trouble.

We then get to the Turtles, Splinter, obviously

not including Donatello, Mondo, Gecko, Hob, Herman

the Hermit Crab, and Slash. And they start with

the army. I really want Mondo. I'm glad, you

know, we'll be talking about this Mutanimals

thing that they're doing coming up at the end

of the show, because I really want Mondo to have

his own damn series, or at least a miniseries,

because Mondo is amazing in this book. He doesn't

say much all the time, but just when he does

and when he does stuff, it's so cool. What do

you think of the characters here with Slash and

Mondo and Herman? I forgot what Old Hob is doing

with his army. I forgot what his goal is. Because

Splinter's coming because they helped him. Hob

helped them get Leo back. And this is Splinter

paying Hob back. But I can't remember what they're

having them do. It's war on humans? Or is it

the lab that made him? No for hobbits his war

on humans, but for splinter it's they need an

army to fight shredder, okay? So that's that's

kind of the thing and we kind of see that unfold

as as good old Pete come Comes in and he's like

guess what? It's me Pete. I brought friends And

if Playmates puts out figures like I know they

have the classic bebop and rocksteady and they

have the new cartoon the new 2012 cartoon versions

of bebop and rocksteady in toy form But if they

ever put out toy forms of these They better be

in scale with each other because you were talking

about how scale with it with angel and alapax

look at the scale on bebop rocksteady and Pete

I Mean Pete comes up to about Both of their belt

buckles and then obviously rocksteady is bigger

than Clinton bebop and raps like oh you gotta

be kidding And then hob goes off on Pete We then

see the start of a fight and then we see the

stop of a fight because hub just basically takes

his gun and fires it in the air We see them You

know trying to figure out whether they're gonna

join or not join the army And I heard bro a real

mutant army So we get we get the next panel where

Where Hobbs says that's right fellas. Look at

you mighty mute mute animals mutant animals.

That's There they're aiming towards it ready

to smack down every last piece of human trash

putting pollutant this world That's yeah, that's

what Hobbs is. It's his army against the human

And then Roxy's like, yeah, baby, you got that,

hey, wait a sec, we're half human. Human? Bam,

ow. What the hell, cat? You, what the hell, cat,

you prejudice or something? No, I'm a mutant.

And we see this super giant fight. I love the

panel with Rocksteady and Slash, that is so cool.

This is so friggin' cool. I'm currently working

on a drawing of Rock City and Bebop together

in my Ninja Turtles style, and I think I inadvertently,

maybe after this, got informed by this art by

Santaluco. Yeah, this is Santalugo. This is Santalugo.

As well as the cover. I like the style of both

the characters. So, this giant fight... breaks

out, and we've got all this stuff going on. Meanwhile,

April has joined Donnie and Harold at their...

at Harold's base of operations. And this is interesting

to me, because we have the big fight that's going

to happen between Rocksteady and Bebop and our

team, along with Alopex and Angel. April's like

is that the turtles yes and that infernal girl

too with my exosuit Donatello your blasted family

is at it again. I suppose you'll be leaving to

join them in their violent buffoonery nope They

can handle themselves without me I've got more

important things to do and he's working on metalhead

and we have a to be continued What did you think

of this one overall reading issue 41 a couple

of days ago I it's interesting that two issues

before that Donnie's looks at Notices and starts

to work on metalhead. We don't know why he's

doing that yet But I just I really appreciate

how Donnie is becoming a complete character And

his own character. They're flushing him out.

They're making I'm sure you know very soon. We're

gonna get Mikey Going on an event at a character

building thing soon So I think we've gotten all

the rest of the turtles Yeah, my well Mikey had

the character building in the beginning with

kind of with Woody the pizza guy. Yeah That's

still so sad to me or Mikey But yeah, it's gonna

be interesting to see what they do with Mikey

overall 39 for me absolutely love it It's just

continually this is what Like I this might be

my favorite IDW title Oh, yeah for me. I have

I've read a couple of others But this is really

good. Just too good. Yeah, I mean like okay between

all the 80s properties that they have this and

transformers was the one that i was really really

interested in and up until transformers went

to dark cybertron and did that whole super event

crossover between its two books aftermath of

dark cybertron has i find myself um As I read

each issue now, just kind of reading like the

first five pages and then just kind of skimming

the rest. Cause it's like, I need to find something

that I, cause a lot of the characters in the

Transformers thing right now is just not, I don't

know the whole direction that they're taking

it is, I'm just so totally lost. That's one of

the reasons why Nicole Hailstone and I are going

to be reviewing the issues for both series. In

the pull bag as we go along, but I just as I

read them. It's just like I don't get That much

like for me personally. I don't get that much

enjoyment out of the transformer stuff the turtle

stuff on the other hand It's continuous moment

to moment to moment of awesome. I almost think

the turtle and the turtles the transformers needs

a reboot It's just gotten too big and it's too

split up. I mean I Transformers was the reason

I started reading comics again a long time ago,

probably in college at this point. And when the

books started to split, when some people were

on Cybertron and other people were someplace

else and Optimus was kind of removed from it

all, I totally stopped reading it. It was just,

I was buying too many books and not reading them

at all. I think it needs a reboot, but it probably

won't happen. Yeah, I mean they are doing this

whole thing coming up in January, February, and

March with Combiner Wars and stuff, and I like

the book that Marigrid Scott and Sarah Stone

did called Windblade, and Windblade is going

to be returning as a part of Combiner Wars, so

that's going to be cool, but I don't know, it

just... Turtles for me at this point is where

it's at for IDW it really really is and issue

number 39 was an amazing amazing set up to Issues

39 through 41 or issues 39 and 40 are pretty

much a larger set up to To what's gonna be happening

in 41 through 44, 45, whatever it is. I forget

how long Attack on Technodrome is supposed to

be, if it's supposed to be four, five, or seven

issues. And it's probably gonna culminate with

50, I bet. And to think that we're clamoring

about this setup issue, nothing really happened

yet. We didn't get to see the whole fight. The

fact that IDW and Tom Waltz, I credit most of

it with him and Bobby Kernow writing and editing,

giving everybody a role to do. It's like, oh

shoot, what movie? A large cast of characters

and everybody has a little part to play in the

larger picture. And that deliberate attention

to plotting, meticulous attention to plotting,

you just have to congratulate these guys for

doing it. Every character gets its fan service.

I can't imagine the amount of thought planning

and work goes into doing that and research because

every writers got their favorite character and

every writers gonna want to Really spend time

with their favorite character, especially when

Tom waltz grew up with these guys. I mean, they're

his he's he is us The fact that he's able to

spread his attention and love to every character

even the ones that he maybe didn't like growing

up or didn't like as a young adult, uh, is a

testament to what they've managed to pull off

with this book. Yeah. And I think that's the

thing with Tom Waltz and Bobby Kernow. Um, those

two specifically, no disrespect to Kevin Eastman.

Obviously Kevin Eastman is one half of the creative

team, the original creative team. But here's

the thing. You need someone to come in who is

a fan. You need someone like us, which Tom and

Bobby are now. I mean, we talked with Bobby and

you know, You guys can go back and listen to

that interview and hear how much he loves the

turtles when he talks about them. And I think

you need an outside voice outside of Eastman

and Laird to come in and do what you just said,

pays attention to every single detail, whether

it's character detail, whether it's setting,

whether it's story, whatever it is, and not just

pay homage to it, but craft a story that's going

to work around. the setting, the characters,

and all of that. And what Eastman is contributing

to this, because, you know, we all know his name's

on the book, but maybe they have a Skype meeting

with him once a month, every other month, and

we get kind of loose plotting ideas, so they

credit him, and he needs to be credited because,

man, he is the creator. But I think what Kevin

Eastman will or does bring to it is that, and

I know Tom Walz says he's talked to Peter Laird,

too, that they're on the phone every once in

a while. Those two are telling them like this

is what the character's motivation is this is

where you know those two guys probably laid awake

in bed thinking about the characters that they

were creating universe building they know things

that we never got to read in any book or movie

and they're sharing those energies with waltz

and and and kernel to help craft this. I think

that's an important flavor too, but to put that

seed into two fans and then have the fans go

write, create, and the other guys draw this stuff,

I think it's just a perfect storm of a book.

And man, I don't throw around my favorite anything

loosely, but I mean, there's this book that I

have to read while I'm sitting in the car with

it running. as soon as I leave the comic store,

Ultimate Spider -Man and Daredevil. I mean, those

are the three books that I have to read while

I'm sitting outside my comic store because they're

just that good. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, if

you look at it, we're almost, I mean, we're recording

this December 21st, 2015. This series in print

started in 2011. This series is almost four years

old. And in four years, it's been In all the

reviews that we, in all the podcasts, all the

reviews that we've done so far for this series,

I'm sure we, you know, we've had our issues with

certain things or certain characters, something

like that, but overall and in general, it's simply

amazing. Consistent. Exactly. What other book

have we liked for four years? Even Daredevil

had that brewmaker run where I gave up on it

for like 12 issues. So. Um, what would you rate

zero to five stars for 39? Uh, five stars rented

in the driveway. Uh, I am the same way. Uh, it

gets five because it is just so, so amazing.

-star book yeah pretty much it's like as sick

40 the main cover is alopex and angel as nobody

Running down the street. They look like they're

in New York, but it looks like some sort of Japanese

cover it really does because it's all shiny and

glossy and You know cars are speeding by them

as they're running down the street and it is

done by Santa Luca What do you think of this

one? This is the most beautiful cover I have

ever seen I went to my comic store and they pull

the issues for me But they don't have any control

over which cover they get and I got the Eastman

cover like Frick, so I had to drive to a different

comic store and get this cover I the the coloring

is amazing. I love the the motion lines in the

street beneath their feet that and and then it

carries into the cars the police cars that are

chasing them, which is why they're red pink and

blue The coloring is incredible. I wonder if

Santa Luca did the coloring to or if Rhonda Pattinson

did probably not the cover but Just absolutely

one of the best covers we've seen from for me

with my comic shop they usually have and honestly

i i usually buy the trades at this point i mean

i i get the comics digitally um but uh usually

with my comic shop um with idw specifically they

have multiple copies of each cover of like of

like a cover a and a cover b because yeah my

shop is so small I'm one of two people reading

Ninja Turtles. And one goes to the other store

and one goes to me. So sad. Well, we have like

five comic shops in Grand Rapids. So there are

other other shops get it in other quantities.

But at my store only, I'm the only guy reading

it. Wow. That is so sad. But yeah, I love this.

The whole thing with the street and the police

cars and just how glossy it is and. And then

Eastman's cover, it's Eastman, I mean. But you

know, when I saw this and when I bought this,

because I had to, because I had to read it in

the street on the way out of the store, it's

Eastman drawing Bebop and Rocksteady, two characters

that he's maybe never drawn before, except maybe

a Comic Con convention, what do they call it?

commission yeah but this is this is imprint and

I wonder if this would be the first time imprint

that he's drawn those two characters because

they were never in the Marvel universe yeah hmm

I'm not sure so we get into this one we basically

pick up at the fight the fight is is actually

starting in Mikey you know with you know The

Mr. Miyagi that Mikey is says, why are we even

fighting these creeps? So we get a bunch of awesome

shots with them fighting everybody and Leo and

Raph. or no, Leo's fighting Bebop, or Raph's

fighting Bebop, I'm sorry. Leo basically kicks

Rocksteady into a car. The car is then going

to pummel Mikey, and bam, Slash saves him. I

love the relationship between, the friendship,

whatever you want to call it, between Mikey and

Slash. I hope that that continues too. Yeah.

I really want to see Slash get accepted because

there are there are a lot of moments in the book

where when he comes to get the turtles for this

meeting they're like oh hey slash you remember

that time you trashed our home but he's smart

and and speaks now i i i don't know i want to

see him with a family too i think they are i

think too i think at this point Yeah, I think

now that they're past Stupid Slash and they've

turned him into Grey Slash, that he is intelligent,

he can use both the physical prowess and his

brains that he will be eventually accepted. so

we get to hob and and and Herman and it's like

make those freaks pay and It's just a down out

down and out big old battle between Leo's actually

using his swords and cutting Rock steady. Yeah,

this ain't no comic that needs the comics code

authority on it. Thank you very much Because,

let's face it, in this world today we live in

a very violent world. So, yeah. I love... Bbobby

picks up a dumpster and throws it. Picks up...

I believe it's the dumpster that Herman uses,

right? I don't think so, because otherwise he'd

be the dumpster. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, and...

throws a dumpster oh i see no bebop throws a

brick at splinter and oh that's right herman's

in the dumpster it hits his dumpster even the

wrath knocks That was hard to read. Yeah, that's

yeah, that's right. That's a little strange and

then Roxy is like nice fastball pee We go back

to family drama. Yeah breaks I the story with

Casey needs to be told Know I put it here, but

it's such a jar. It's such a giant. Yeah So basically

you can't carry the dialogue from one page into

another with this you know that that trick that

they use so many times in the past is They're

having a harder time using it Well, I don't think

it's they're having a harder time using it I

just think at this point with these two issues

with 39 and 40 they've stopped using it because

they Okay, they they do use it because in this

final panel on this final part of the previous

page He says nice fastball be Thanks, but wait

till you see my cutter and then we get to don't

look so smug and then it cuts into mr. O 'neil

Contrary to popular belief it is possible to

teach an old dog new tricks And it's the toaster

hour It is and they're you know making shelves

and You know, they're talking about... Mr. O

'Neill says, so despite the obvious setbacks,

I knew I still had something to offer this world,

and I never once thought about giving up. I never

once stopped moving forward. So he's basically

telling Casey, don't look back at the past, just

keep on going. And they basically go back and

forth and say, Mr. O 'Neill says that he wants

Casey to be security for the shop. And you know

Casey says you don't even got to ask me mr. O

'neil count me in and we cut back to the fight

where Wait wait wait wait wait wait Mikey is

holding Mjolnir he's attached to Mjolnir and

rocks to these hands And again the juxtaposition

of the scale of these the fact that Mikey's entire

body can wrap around a hammer that Rocksteady

is holding is just simply amazing um and Rocksteady

says uh just stay where you are I'll send him

over to where I'll send this chump over to where

over to use and all I can think of is Two youths,

what is it you? And and bebop and Rocksteady

are really Really kicking their ass. They are

so dangerous Yes, they are what they've done

with them So dangerous in fact that alopex and

angel decide to leap down and to get into this

Anytime they draw angel and in the nobody armor

I just get excited. I really, really... Yeah,

you're very, very happy. Yes. What is so awesome

about these panels when Alopex and Angel come

down is, wah, rabies, rabies, ah! Oh, that's

because he scratches her. She scratches him.

She scratches him, yeah. You know, you can go

to such a serious moment with Casey and Mr. O

'Neil, and then you go back to the fight, and

in the fight you have all these comedy moments,

and, um, R .A .B., she's fallin' at the mouse!

And Raph's just like, Hello, Vex? What the hell?

And... and... Nobody comes up and says I don't

think so bacon breath and basically shoots for

Bebop's chainsaw Yeah, I'm gonna have to screencap

one of these panels to show you please do page

eight Yeah, the one I'm looking at is It's the

panel where where Ella where where alopex where

where angel says I got this porker She basically

looks like a female Terminator It almost looks

like the new school robocop armor oh Please no.

Oh, it wasn't that bad The first one was you

know the original was good enough that it didn't

need a remake but I'm excited for a sequel to

that if I don't think it'll get made, but I like

where they were headed so alopex I keep saying

alopex angel in nobody she shoots out a grappling

hook and Sticks it it sticks on to poor bebop's

nose ring and Thanks him toward her and as he

collides with her she tases him in the neck with

her wrist taser yeah i i wish that the the grappling

hook was a taser by itself so she could have

tased him instead of having to pull him in um

but he um he comes back and says don't you know

i'm ticklish he rips the taser out rips her arm

carrying the tazer out of it don't you know in

ticklish boom launches her into the air she lands

on the roof of a building it looks like uh but

saves herself from a very uncomfortable impact

with her levitation telekinesis glove whatever

that thing is that april had earlier yeah and

we get rock steady overpowering raf and alopex

and ala raf's like what are you doing here alopex

saving your butt sort of Oh boy. So this is very

interesting, and this is another screenshot I'll

have to get for you because, oh my god, it just

looks so wrong. So Rocksteady throws them, and

he says, and I better not see you stinking, better

not need no stinking rabies shots, neither. I

hate needles. As he rips the sigh out of his

shoulder, that ref had sunk into it. Yeah, so

he had thrown them and guess where they land

they land in a pigeon coop and They get all entangled

and my face is gonna be pissed So the first panel

of them being stuck in this thing is just them

staring at each other The next panel is them

grinning from ear to ear each other. So, um,

this is Yeah awkward I Really want I really want

them to write some sort of weird date Story for

the two of them. I really really do happen. She's

she's Raphael's Ninjara in this unit. Oh Jesus.

Yeah Oh man, it's just it's just so funny seeing

the two of them like this it really really is

Absolutely love it So we get we get back to Herman

and bebop and rocksteady and Herman's ready to

go full auto Herman has to retreat inside his

shell while bebop and Rocksteady tear it to pieces

as ripping the guns off But haha Herman's not

defeated and he she leaps out with his lobster

claws grabs their necks smashes their heads together

Great panels. I did this whole battle is just

so much fun When they before that happens the

couple panels before that where where bebop says

smash him again and the dumpster is tipped over

It almost looks to me like the side of the dumpster

where it has the writing. It kind of looks like

the WM dumpsters. Oh, it's the waste management,

but they... Yeah. I forgot what it's called in

this universe because I looked at it. But it's

MW. Yeah, instead of WM. Management waste, perhaps.

I don't know. Yeah, something like that. I don't

know. So, so yeah. Pain soldier. And lots of

it! It just... There are so many times in different

mediums where I can pull a Three Stooges reference

out of anything. There's that one time in Transformers

Revenge of the Fallen, as much as everyone hates

that movie. There's the time where Bumblebee

comes out, grabs Skids and Mudflap, and just

bangs their heads together. Bumblebee is Moe,

and either Skids or Mudflap, take your pick,

is Larry and Curly. At this point, Herman the

Hermit Crab has become Moe, and Rocksteady and

Bebop are Curly and Larry. So we get Old Hob

finally joining the party with his gun. And Mondo.

Oh man, no one told me there was gonna be like

real fighting, so not chill. I love Mondo. Mondo

needs his own damn series, he needs his own spotlight,

something. I need to go watch the old animated

series with him, because I don't remember anything

about him. I mean, besides what I vaguely remember

from the Neat Animals series, I don't remember

him showing up in the cartoon at all. I remember

the toy! He's in Season 5, I believe, for one

episode. I don't know how many other episodes

he is in for the 87 series. And I don't know

if he showed up in the 2003 series. But Splinter's

like, Mondo, Gecko, wait! And as the battle comes

up, they have a plan. You know, Splinter says,

I'm thinking a more indirect approach is required

with those two. So Gecko has this whole sneak

attack plan happening. Oh, he's taking his shirt

off so he can do like Gecko camouflage. I didn't

check. I didn't catch that. Yeah, he's taking

his shirt off We go back to more sexual tension

I was gonna so I was gonna say we go back to

the odd couple Stop squirming you're making it

worse I'm glad I don't pay attention to what

people ship sometimes when people ship different

characters because I can just imagine the crap

that's on Tumblr and DeviantArt of these two

characters. Oh, I'm sure there's worse of that

than Jara from the 90s series. Sure. And Pete

comes up and saves the day and gets them out

of the coop. And we get to Rocksteady who has

hub by the throat and this is what you get for

shooting me in the kisser I've been waiting for

is what splinter to get into this fight the way

that I picture splinter and and it doesn't happen

here, but I picture splinter as the the okay

I know they're Japanese but the Chinese martial

arts feel master with the long beard that he

just always strokes and it's the guy who can

put one hand behind his back and just beat everybody

with one relaxed hand not even paying attention

to it and when he got into this fight I was waiting

for like you know Batman animated series oh memory

touch or like kill Bill pop pop pop boom and

now ten steps you're dead I was expecting Okay,

he socks him in the throat and kind of incapacitates,

uh, rocks in the air, but, um, but we, I guess

we do see him kick a little bit of butt, but

I don't think it's going to last. Yeah, no, I

don't think it's going to last either. Um, but

at the same time, what's the point of Mondo taking

his shirt off, but not his pants and geckos are

not chameleons. Like. I think they're the same

family, off to Wikipedia. Well, I'm just saying

the panel where we see Gecko's shirt, the next

panel after Splinter whops Bebop, when Gecko

says, that's it, Gramps, almost there, it shows

his body painted as if it's part of the brick

background, like he's camouflaged into the wall.

He's got pants and shoes on, so... I mean, okay,

censorship, sure, you can't have a naked gecko

in a comic book. Well, the turtles don't wear

clothes. That's true, too. I think it maybe is

80 % camouflage instead of 20 % camouflage. Maybe

the shirt took up... I don't know. I don't know.

So splinter is still kicking ass and geckos are

able to camouflage themselves according to Wikipedia

Interesting the Kyra mutalia Okay, then are able

to stump toed gecko able to vary its color from

very light to dark There we go. Anyway, thank

you Wikipedia. I'll have to donate three dollars

to keep your So splinter kicks Rocksteady in

the throat, and they say, this is embarrassing,

Buster, that old coot's walloping us. Okay, I

take it back, Splinter is kicking their butts.

Yeah, he's like really kicking their ass. And

then Mondo Gecko, all men, he's really gonna

be gnarly. At least on a telephone, not a telephone

pole, but a power pole. A power line, yep. And

he cuts the power line, comes down swinging,

and thank God. Thank God this is Bobby and Tom

and Kevin. Because the classic line, Cowabunga!

And he comes down, he drops the power line, gets

on his board, and we have a beautiful coloring

job of all of these characters. Bebop and this

is the second time Bebop has gotten shocked Well

true yeah and they're really fried they go, you

know toes up and Everybody's you know kind of

all getting fixed up and And everything else

and you know we get back to hob and splinter

and I knew we could actually do it. We took them

down. Dream on, cat gut. Are you freaking kidding?

And they are back. And the next thing is, we

see a sign that says, danger. The structure is

declared unsafe for human occupancy or use. So

they basically topple a building on top of them.

Herman basically shoots out the building's foundation

and the building crumbles on top of Gecko, or

not Gecko, but Rox and Amy Bobbin. I love Gecko.

You rock crab, dude. Ow. I love that. So... As

we close this one out Hobb asks Alopex if she

wants to join the army and she says No, thanks.

I've had enough armies in my life And she and

Angel form an alliance so yay happy happy there

and Hobb and Pete make up because Hobb yelled

at him earlier And they all walk away and this

is awesome three four five six seven eight nine

eleven characters Look at this before we get

to Bebop and Rocksteady climbing out of the building,

look at the 11 of them walking away. 11 against

2 and they still, I mean I know Bebop and Rocksteady

are who they are in this series, they are forces

to be reckoned with, but 11 characters still

could not defeat them and they still come out

of the rubble. That's just crazy and be Bob and

rock stairs like Hey be you remember that idea

you had about not telling Karai nothing if this

plan didn't work out Yeah, rock. I remember why

best damn idea you ever had We get to an epilogue

and this is interesting We see shredder. What

is it you seek? I need your help Uh, against

whom? Krang. Krang? What do you know of General

Krang? Uh, enough. Enough to know that the fate

of the world depends on the Foot Clan. This is

an epic image because we don't see Metalhead

anymore. We see who's controlling Metalhead.

Donnie is gonna make a... Alliance with the Foot

Clan? What? And that's how they end this one.

Wow. That's crazy. That's nuts. So we've got

several things going on here, folks. We've got

Splinter, Raph, Mikey, and Leo teaming up with

Hobb and his army to... take down the Foot Clan.

We have Donatello forming an alliance with them

to take down Crane. It's just, it's just, when

I first read this issue, I, my jaw hit the floor.

This was such a great moment. It was amazing.

Uh, what did you think of the issue overall?

Well, we got one of the best fight scenes that

I've seen in a comic book in years. I mean, it

takes up 90 % of the pages, which we, I don't

know. Sometimes you get the fight scenes and

there's six panels on the page of fists kind

of swinging at each other. This is lyrical. It

tells the story of this fight and you get to

feel things more than you do. There's more weight

to the action, emotional weight and character

weight. To it and then and then we have this

just punch in the gut at the end where Where

Donatello's trying to form an alliance with the

foot clan? I it's just masterful you get to see

all these little threads coming together Absolutely,

it's just so Everything is leading up to attack

on technodrome and it We're only one issue in

as of this recording issue 41 of TMNT is out

Joe and I will not be reviewing it until sometime

January February of next year, but issue 41 is

out And it has my second favorite cover We actually

get to see the technodrome's eye, which I've

been waiting to see since the first year second

issue of the book four years ago We will be going

over the solicits after the break here in a moment,

but This was a great lead -up to where everyone

stands before the next big event because if you

think about it They've had Turtles in Time which

was a miniseries event they've had Northampton

they've had I mean really the The largest event

in this comics history until attack on technodrome

was city fall mm -hmm and It's been a while since

I mean city fall was issues 21 to 25 or six I

mean or you know, whatever it was 20 21 28, whatever

it is. I forget what it is, but You know it was

it was a huge huge thing and now we're getting

to that point again where cityfall was shredder's

huge arc and now attack on technodrome is kind

of everybody's huge arc yeah it's really it's

really krang's ultimate plan of terraforming

earth for you know to turn an end to utromadon

i mean that's they're gonna have to do like a

double -sized issue Somewhere in this in that

in that arc just to fit all the characters in

because I I would I think the we're 75 25 in

favor of having the mutanimals be a part of the

technodrome battle as well I don't think they're

gonna go off and well they are doing mutanimals

with what they're doing, but That's gonna be

a huge issue lots to get done Yeah, it's going

to be a huge, huge event. So we're going to take

another quick break. We're going to come back

with solicitations for December, January, February,

time is short as krang accelerates his plan to

re to terraform earth which will kill all who

live on it a surprise alliance results in a daring

plan and the stakes have never been higher now

The the the technodrome image. Oh, yeah The technodrome

image is awesome Are you talking about the cover

of the book? Yeah, yeah There is the design of

the eye because it's something that could be

so cheesy So cartoony not even good sci -fi cartoony

But it just it's brilliant. It's not exactly

an eye. It looks kind of like an eye It does

something in specific that we find out in a later

issue, but exquisitely designed yes Issue 41

does also have a retail incentive cover. This

was a full -out It was a full -on foldout cover,

so it took you know both the front and back pages

the The full image is of Leo. It's an Eastman

cover. It's Leo... I don't know why Donnie and...

I don't know why Donnie's there, but it's all

four turtles and Casey running... because it's

an homage to them running across the rooftops

like in the 87 series. So that's pretty cool.

cover a lot on this one. I don't think that's

and February is where it gets interesting Because

February not only sees Issue 43 of the main ongoing

it sees the beginning of the Mutanimals 1 of

4 spotlight issue it also releases TMNT volume

10 new mutant order which collects issues 37

to 40 which that cover for that one on on here

is the cover for the next trade is on here and

it's an awesome cover for a trade it really really

is you'll have to look at that one doesn't have

an eye though but it it has the technodrome on

there and it looks so friggin cool So we get

to oh my microphone was muted. I was blowing

my nose. I See that there. That's yeah, I really

man in the next six and six weeks I know I'll

be drawing a technodrome. I absolutely must oh

Man so we get we get to mutanimals and with mutanimals

as I said, it's a four -issue mini There are

sub covers for this mini -series and regular

covers for the mini -series It's it I can't wait

for this to happen because it's basically All

the back. I don't want I don't want to say their

background characters, but it's it's slash. It's

it's Mondo it's all of them so TMNT Mutanimals

number 104 written by Paul Allor so we get to

see Paul again and the art and cover art colors

and cover are by Andy Kuhn I am gonna read this

list station here folks there may be spoilers

so you've been warned Old Hob, Slash, Herman

the Hermit Crab, Mondo Gecko, and Pigeon Pete

have become a force to be reckoned with in the

TMNT ongoing, and now they've got their own mini

-series in which their teamwork will be put to

the ultimate test when someone close to the group

is kidnapped. The Mutanimals end up on an adventure

more wild and dangerous than they could ever

imagine. What mysteries lurk at the Null Group?

The Null being a villain from the Archie comic

series. I'm excited to see. Again, they're tying

into everything. Everything. Everything. My only

issue with this Mutanimals team is that it's

not the Mutanimals that... I think MondoGecko

is the only crew, the only original crew there,

and Slash may have been in and out. But I don't

know, I'm hoping that if the series goes on that

we will get to see Man Ray or Ray Follay, depending

on which continuity you like better. And Jaguar

and Wingnut and Screwloose. I wouldn't mind seeing

those guys again. Dreadman. I mean, I'm surprised

they didn't recruit them. I'm really surprised

they didn't. I mean, I know introducing Gecko

and Herman and all that stuff and Pete as we've

gone along. But I'm really surprised that, you

know, maybe as the Mutanimals go on, we'll have

them introduced. I think eventually. It'd be

awesome to see Wingnut. Yeah, and how they handle

him. Yeah. So the next images are of issue 43's

cover. One is a retail incentive, the other is,

I believe, the regular issue cover. It's pretty

intense as... Issue 43 goes on to say... Oh!

See, they're setting this up where... They're

all gonna be there at the same time. They're

all gonna be there at the same time, but... They've

set it up to where Donnie is off on his own,

Leo, Raph, and Mikey are kind of their own team,

and they've given Splinter to the Mutanimals

team. They've given Splinter to Old Hob and Gecko,

and it's like, whoa, that's kind of cool. All

right, so the final one we're gonna be talking

about is... Okay, so with... With the March solicitations,

they are doing several interesting things. March

2015 solicits four Turtles. IDW is releasing

the first TMNT IDW Collection Volume 1. This

is going to be a hardcover. It's going to be

50 bucks, 384 pages. It collects the first 12

issues of the series. Huh So this is for people

who have not been listening to our podcasts or

Have not read the series after listening to our

reviews here on the podcast It basically You

know as I said, it's the first 12 issues of the

ongoing Plo ho ho ho ho oh No, you as a collector.

We're gonna want to get this the copy here says

IDW's relaunch of TMNT has been a hit with fans

and critics alike now collect the series in an

all new oversized hard covers that present the

stories in recommended reading order collects

the first 12 issues of the new ongoing series

plus Raph, Mikey, Donnie, Leo and splinter micro

series one shots spliced in between that is oh

my god i'm getting this i don't care i am so

getting this i love you idw publishing um i don't

care and i i'm gonna say this anyway bobby i

love you and the the hardcover collection team

because oh my god this is going to be amazing

uh... the cover for this one uh... as as i'm

sure is they continue to uh... do these volumes

it's uh... raf is on this cover uh... for for

this uh... this hard cover thing here uh... yeah

this is something i i know i haven't collected

i usually don't collect a lot of comics anymore

print comics yeah so awesome with them doing

it properly Even at $50, it's so worth it. It

is so worth it. Correct reading. Go ahead. I

almost said a dollar an issue, but that doesn't

work out anywhere here, right? But that's still

cheaper than buying all of those singles, even

if you did it at launch. Yeah. That's such a

beautiful cover. Dan Duncan's still my favorite

artist those first 12 issues are beautiful Next

up we have issue 44 So that one has Obviously

a retail and a cover a retail incentive and a

cover a incentive or not cover a incentive But

a regular cover a cover as far as that goes So

there's those. Cover A is Shredder versus Krang,

again, with the foot soldiers and the rock soldiers

surrounding them. And that is covered by Corey

Smith, who is the artist for this arc, for the

Attack on Technodrome arc. So we've got a foot

soldier versus a rock soldier. We've got Shredder

coming down on Krang. What do you think of this

cover? Exciting! Not like the take on Shredder

and Krang's relationship, but they don't get

along. Get along, yep. Absolutely awesome. The

retail incentive cover is the turtles facing

off against the Foot Clan and Karai. I don't

know about this. I don't like that guy's art,

whoever he is. Says the guy who's never been

picked by IDW to draw a Ninja Turtles cover.

For issue 44, Attack on Technodrome, Part 4.

Minutes remain before the Technodrome fully activates

and Shredder, Krang, and the Turtles all vie

for control. No side will be left unscathed in

this epic climax as the one character makes an

ultimate sacrifice. Dun dun dun. Shocking events

that let that set the stage for the storyline

leading up to the landmark 50th issue That variant

I can't believe by March we'll be at issue 44

of the series and we're not that We're gonna

hit issue 50 next year. Ah Can't wait And you

know in 2016 hopefully we hit issue 74 75 something

like that If you count the tails we're already

there True true Not the tails, the one -shots,

but no, it doesn't count. We've got Mutanimals

number two of four as well here. And we've got

a regular cover and I believe a subscription

cover as well. I'm looking to see here. Yup,

it is a subscription cover for the second one.

So we've got those two. Now normally I would

be kind of... I want subscription cover, but

I don't know about this subscription cover if

I would want that one. It's... You pooped on

the Statue of Liberty's head. I do like that

he's wearing flip -flops though. He's wearing

flip -flops and there's a cruise liner in the

background. So funny the the regular oh my god

issue two There's a new character. That's not

old hob on the right Middle, what is that? I

so mutanimals number two of four the mutanimals

have uncovered a new mutant who has undergone

unspeakable trauma at the hands of the null group

hob and company are determined to bring the corporation

down but already divisions begin to form in the

group when deadly tactics are discussed will

the mutanimals be able to stay intact dun dun

dun Now the subscription variant has a little

group reimagined for a new generation It's gonna

be very interesting coming up in turtles people

attack on technodrome has started it is pretty

cool so far You'll have to come back next month

in the new year for Joe and I to talk about the

first two issues dealing with Attack on Technodrome.

What do you think of the stuff coming up so far

that we've revealed in this podcast? Well, I

was excited the minute I saw the cover from the

beginning and so nothing really new I think is

getting revealed. I'm just excited because I

know that all of it is coming up. So I I'll be

excited to continue to read this book. I can't

I wonder who's gonna die though Yeah That's gonna

be a little interesting you want to start mentioning

ideas yet? No, they don't for later. Just just

don't don't even don't even jinx it like that.

Nope so All right. Well, I think that's gonna

do it for us here inside the pull bag When's

your next garage sale? We actually had a Christmas

one a couple of weeks ago. Awesome. North of

town. We were indoors this year. That's always

good. Our old comic store. Yes, this has happened

since the last podcast. One of the oldest comic

stores in town closed down, went out of business,

which which really surprises me because that

store opened when The comics crash occurred when

everybody bought Superman number whatever when

he died and everybody's speculators market started

to Be a thing he opened the store then when there

was no money in comics and now that there are

all these comic movies and and super it's okay

to be a geek now now the store goes out of business

i kind of really feel bad for him so that was

where in his parking lot was where we usually

had our geek stuff garage sales and now that

he's closed we're building a relationship with

a gaming store on the north end of town and and

we think that they're gonna they're gonna host

us next year so probably in june we'll have mid

to late june we'll have another geek stuff garage

sale awesome awesome Alright, so coming up next

week for New Year's Eve, it's either going to

be Jeremy Fine and I or JT from Saskatoon and

I. We're going to do something a little different.

We're going to do a number ones episode, but

it's not going to be a number ones that you would

think about normally. It's to try new comics

out pretty much to see if we're interested in

continuing on with reading them after we've gotten

the first issue. And it's pretty much an Image

Comics episode, because we're gonna be discussing

Bitch Planet, The Fade Out, and Rasputin, number

one. From Image Comics. Well, I'm actually, I

can't listen to podcasts. I don't feel like I

have the time and the equipment. You know, it's

all too technical for me, but that sounds like

an episode that I would have to tune into or

find a way to get onto my Zoom. I'm sure we can

work something out. So yeah, that's what's coming

up for the end of December. And then in January,

we're going to be doing, from IDW, a very old

TV conversion. We're going to be doing Angel's

Smile Time. IDW comicized a TV episode of Angel,

and that episode was Smile Time, which is one

of its most comedic episodes. And then we're

gonna do Batman Beyond, 10 ,000 Clowns, and Batgirl

Beyond after that. Third week in January folks,

you're gonna want to be here because Joe and

I are gonna be doing the first Comic Terry on

TMNT 1990. Yay! And then the week after that,

Joe and I will be doing issues 41 and 42 of IDW's

TMNT. At the end of January, ADAS Baron is going

to join back up with me and we're going to do

Masters of the Universe. The 2013 audio only

even ended this year. We're going to do issues

13 to 19, 13 to 18 in that run is the Blood of

Grayskull storyline, and then issue 19 is basically

what if Masters of the Universe was a Lion King

story. It's weird, it's just really weird. And

then coming up in February, we're gonna do another,

I don't know if it's gonna be Joe and I, but

someone and I are gonna be doing a comic theory

on the 2002 Spider -Man. And then Joe and I will

be back with issues 43 and 44 of TMNT. And then

Nicole and I will be doing RID and one of the

meets the eye number 29. And then at the end

of February we're gonna have episode 100 of The

Pull Bag, which is gonna be best of The Pull

Bag for the first two years of the show. I have

no idea how or what I'm going to be doing with

that. And then Marvelous March 2015 is happening.

Episode 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, and 106. We're

going to be doing current Marvel coverage. So

right now I've got Savage Wolverine Volume 1

written down, Iron Man Volumes 1 and 2, Believe

in Secret Origins of Tony Stark. Jeremy Fine

and I are going to continue our Avengers and

X -Men coverage with issue issues two through

nine and then access issues one through four.

And then to close it out, we're going to be doing

Amazing Spider -Man Volume 1. Now this is the

new Amazing Spider -Man after they went superior.

And then because of that new movie, Amazing Spider

-Man 2, they had to bring Peter Parker back.

Yeah, they brought Peter Parker back in Ultimate

Spider -Man 2. I'm really disappointed with that

decision, too. It works out. It makes sense.

He's not Spider -Man. But still, like, come on,

man. Kill a character, leave him dead for more

than a year. Merry Christmas everybody. Have
