DC’s Villains Month Part 1 Review

Welcome to The Pull Bag. Join us as we dig out

our latest comics and discuss them with the rotating

panel of the GCRN crew. So sit back and enjoy

this week's Pull Bag. So joker, I hear you took

over something last month. What was it and why

did you do it? I don't know Yeah Hello and welcome

to the 35th episode of the pull bag I am your

host Dave Joe and Mike joining me is Steve Megatron.

Hello. Hello How are you? Sore Yes So there are

a number of changes and things that we're going

to be going over here in the intro. The pull

bag has removed the origins episodes from the

numbering scheme that I so love simply because

it allows us to do origins episodes whenever

we want to if they're unnumbered. Say somehow,

some way, you know, we can't get an episode out

for that week of the bat books or spider -man

or say something gets delayed at least you can

sell you guys can still have content for the

pull bag for origins episodes and a lot of people

like the origins episodes i like doing them honestly

i think they're interesting because almost everyone

i think there's only been two episodes so far

that like two people have the same kind of opinions

about comics And the one coming up, I think it's

between episode 37 and 38 with TV's Mr. Neil

is really interesting because he is an actual

comic artist. He draws his own webcomic and that

was really interesting. Other changes is the

themes because we're having new... because the

Origins episodes are going to be their own thing,

I wanted them to have their own music. We are

also going to be doing, at some point, back issue

classics where we talk about the old continuities

or review old stories, etc, etc, etc. So that

has its own theme now. Oh, thanks to Steve Megatron.

And I finally got him to record new vocals so

I could put my favorite Can You Dig It? Iron

Man 3 Brian Tyler instrumental under his voice.

I love that song. What else is going on with

the pull bag? Okay, so we've got four iTunes

reviews. Thank you to everyone who has left us

iTunes reviews. These started about a month after

the podcast started. The first one is from superfilmfan66's

best comic podcast five -star review, left on

April 28th, 2013. Great new podcast on comics

I have listened to in a while. Thank you very

much. Uh, one of our cohorts, uh, Movie Revolt

Dan, who you all would have heard, uh, his comic

origin episode, I think, in between 33 and 34,

left on May the 4th, 2013. The phone bag just

- Yes. The pullback just recently started, but

it already shows great potential. There's a lot

of podcasts about comics, but I tend to enjoy

the ones most that have the hosts who love what

they read. They are critical at times, but never

in that nerd rage way so many other comic book

podcasts fall into. Thank you so much, and may

the farce be with you, Dan. Arts. Yes. All right.

Our first negative review comes from N8... People

on iTunes are weird when they sign up and do

weird names. It was left on August 16, 2013.

These guys are bland and aren't as knowledgeable

as they think they are. One star review. I wasn't

too mad about this one. To each their own, honestly.

I wish the guy would have given guy, girl, whatever.

I wish they would have given more examples of

how... We like I didn't set out starting this

show to be That guy who is you know knows all

70 80 years of comics knowledge I think it's

great that there are guys out there that know

all that stuff. That's wonderful You know, but

the point of this podcast is the books we enjoy

reading and for me because I am essentially a

new reader I started with the new 52. So of course,

we're gonna go back over time And I'm going to

read some of the old stuff. Hell, I've already

read some of the old stuff. Coming up next month

in November, we've got Punisher Month, which

is mostly all old stuff except Greg Ruck has

run. So, you know, to each their own. The fourth

review on iTunes is from Bondo Mike, who has

been a longtime supporter of the Yeetcast Radio

Network. Thank you so much, Mike. Fun podcast,

five -star review, left on August 20th. I enjoy

this podcast. It's pretty much a straight -up

review of the comics, and part of the fun comes

from enjoyment that the podcasters exude from

what they are reading as generally as they review

books and they enjoy. They don't just come out

and act like comic experts and have little to

no baggage when it comes to this, so they won't

spend a ton of time citing a ton of references

to the past, which is sort of fresh. Not that

doing that is bad, but these guys just do an

overview and talk about the good, the bad. Again,

usually in a fun way. Without any pretentiousness,

the only bad part is that after listening to

my, after listening, my pull list keeps expanding.

I hope they keep this up. So thank you to those

of you who left us iTunes reviews. We also, Steve,

have a lot of questions that were asked. Because

after Off the Cuff and Altered Geek started doing,

hey, here are questions for you, so answer them,

listeners. So, from SuperFilmFan98, he has five

questions here. We're not going to answer all

of them in this episode. Number one, who do you

consider is the most influential writer in comics

history? That might be an entire episode of the

show, people. Because... Well, and personally

there are more familiar people with that than

I I Don't really know off the top of my head

who would be the most influential. I mean I would

I Would almost cite Frank Miller I could cite

yeah, I mean I could say Frank Miller because

he Shaped Batman forever I could cite Warren

Ellis, I could cite a bunch of people, but I

think we are going to turn that into an actual

episode of the show. Number two from SuperfilmFan98,

have comic book movies had a negative or positive

effect on the movies? What I think he means there

is ... over the years comic movies themselves

have kind of snuck into the regular mainstream

films and now it's like, hey, this year you're

getting Iron Man 3, Wolverine, Thor 2, you know,

we're getting more comic movies per year. So

what are your thoughts on that? I wouldn't disagree

with it. I don't know if I like it. But I wouldn't

disagree that we are getting more films based

on comic Comics in general. I mean I Some of

its good some of its bad. I think it's at this

point. I think that everything is starting to

get overkill I think they're starting to kind

of burn out the franchise of or the genre of

comic book movies Yeah He also asks, what are

your favorite non -superhero comics? Well, for

me, it's Transformers. What about you? For me,

I would probably have to argue Transformers or

like G .I. Joe, just because I used to collect

those back in the day, too. So, I mean, I would

probably say that. I don't really know of...

Anything else off the top of my head though His

other question is what DC character would you

like to see in the Marvel world and vice versa

DC character the Marvel world yeah I Don't know

I'd like to see the Joker Over there raising

hell because who knows what he would do over

there and you know Batman would be interesting,

but take injustice gods among us Superman Hmm

pretty much hates the world and dump him over

in Marvel See how many are left standing after

he gets done with them Yeah, that's true What

about Marvel characters in DC world? I would

probably say Wolverine Iron Man And then it's

just to hit that equally, you know indestructible

just dump the Hulk Except they'll probably just

phantom zone is but but what oh god, can you

imagine Hulk versus Solomon Grundy? Hulk would

probably throw him into the into the Sun. Yeah,

that's Superfilmfan98's final question was, what

are your favorite comic runs of all time? This

again is going to be a full -on discussion episode.

As it should be. Yeah, it's an amazing question.

It really, really is. But I really have no answer

since I'm pretty much brand new. So that'll be

an answer in the future. Plato Lament asks, do

you use any database or anything to keep track

of your comics? I don't keep track of the ones

I've already bought. I keep track of the ones

I have to buy. I also keep a word document for

my comic shop so I can update them on exactly

what I want as the stuff comes out. What about

you? Keep a word document back in the day when

I had all of my comics But because I don't have

them all anymore I don't have that list anymore

and I don't actually keep track I just kind of

keep them in numerical order in the box because

I have two boxes I have certain comics in them.

I actually have no idea what's actually in either

of them Unless I open up the lid which I guess

is not very organized. But like I said, I just

I can't I don't I Have my movies catalog too,

but I haven't updated that list in a year So

I don't even know what's on that list anymore.

So it's one of those laziness factors and the

fact that I find word and Excel to be highly

unsophisticated in keeping track So, I mean,

if anybody has any ideas of a better way of cataloging

or some kind of special software that allows

you to also print or export or whatever, please

let me know. I think Movie Revolt Dan, when we

did his Origins episode, told me about a site

that does that, that is an organizational site.

I'll have to look back and probably most likely

put it in the show notes. Alright, he also asks

how do you store your comics the classic bag

board long box or another crazy method? For me,

I just once I read them. I Put them back in the

bag and board and I just put them on my shelf

I mean obviously I seal them once I read them,

but It's just one of those things where I I don't

but because I'm I'm always Taking stuff up to

trade in after it's read to get You know, stuff

I haven't read yet for the most... I think the

only two... Well, the only... Well, four. The

only four that I don't take up there is Batgirl

Nightwing and Transformers and... Let's see,

another one. There was another one. What's over

there? I don't remember. What about you? You

just... You said you have a box and you just

use your boxes. Yeah, I just let them sit in

there. They're all bagged and boarded in there.

I have two different short box of both. One is

my DC stuff, which is pretty much all Batman

related. And then the other one is Transformers,

G .I. Joe. but mostly like Dreamwave stuff. I

don't have anything from IDW other than the Beast

Wars comics. Cool, cool. Alright, so I decided

to flip it on the listeners and the pull bag

asks you a question I asked this past month was...

As far as single issue coverage goes, do you

prefer us to cover one issue at a time or multiple

issues per podcast? When I set out and did and

started this show was my thought was I can't

do a single issue in an hour, hour and a half,

even with the intro and the I just can't spend

that much time on it. So my thought was wait,

you know, four months past spoilers and blah,

blah, blah, blah, blah. And we cover all the

books then. Specifically, the one I can think

of is like Superior Spider -Man that comes out

twice a month. And you know, the bat books we

can cover for each of those because there's,

you know, what is there? Seven, eight, nine,

10 bat titles. Somewhere around that. Yeah. So

I ask that question, and Plato lament answers,

I tend to enjoy the comic podcasts that cover

multiple comics per episode. If I see a podcast

that is only about one specific comic that I

don't read, I'm not going to listen. But I've

been goaded into a lot of new comics by listening

to those that cover a wide range. Also, reviews

are great and all, but you ever think about doing

discussion about general comic book issues or

topics? I tend to enjoy the origin episodes the

most because you get to the nitty gritty of comics

more. There will be discussion episodes in the

future. It's just going to depend on the topic

and the guests that want to be on and talk about

that topic. Like I know the guys over at Punisher

Body Count, I know Jake is itching to talk about

the old drawing style versus this digital art

stuff. And we will work on that in the future.

Yes. Superfilmfan answers the question. He says,

with so much to listen, watch, play, read, and

whatever else, I'm always more in favor of the

one -stop shop approach. trying to cherry pick

what episodes to watch is more of a pain than

it's worth when it's all one episode i can power

through like no other and hail hydra forever

okay there red skull uh... answers for me it

could go either way i like being able to easily

skip episodes that i know i'm not interested

in and then my But then my iPod gets crowded

with unlisted to podcast it becomes a pain when

it stops downloading them After certain points

so I can see both sides. Well hail Hydra forever.

app. Oh Wait, are we even on the stitcher app

yet? I Think so. If not, it's if not, it's it's

on its way. Anyway, I did submit it so it should

be Alright, so that's all the technical behind

-the -scenes stuff out of the way Last month

in September DC celebrated the second anniversary

of the new 52 by doing villains month where 52

villains took over all 52 books We because Steve

and I are both bat family fans or specifically

to his case. He's a specific Batman fan I We

had to limit ourselves people. I'm sorry at Let's

just say for me at my discounted rate of 355

per issue if I was to get all 52 titles that

would be a hundred and eighty five dollars I'm

sorry. I don't like all the villains that much

Yeah, I don't either What did you when you first

heard about villains month? What was your first

impression? that I thought I was going to pick

them up and then I saw how much they cost and

I decided against it. I mean that and I saw it

as what it is, which is a kind of sorry excuse

for a reason to go out and spend a crap ton of

money. It's just a money crap shoot. That's all

it is to me because I'm sorry, but it's not worth

it to me to Spend four dollars a pop on side

stories that granted. Yes. Some of them are origins

and some of them tie into the current line But

I just I don't I Don't know something about it.

Just kind of rubs me wrong. I just I hate these

little specialized spotlight spotlight months

Where they just blow out a ton of comics that

have really nothing to do with anything Yeah,

I would rather that they kept each line self

-contained Yeah, and have the The story continued

then oh, let's go do this. No, let's have these

people take over I mean not to say that some

of them weren't interesting because I'm not saying

that and I'm not saying that they didn't do a

good job with the ones that are some of the ones

that I read but I Just I personally think it's

just it's a crap shoot to try and Get a ton of

money and get people to collect a bunch of issues

that aren't actually in sequence Yeah, so it

kind of so it kind of pissed me off. I was like,

yeah, I don't care. I Agree for the most part

I I Think it's strange that they're like they're

their first, you know ever big like universe

wide event for new 52 is based on the villains

taking over and forever evil and everything that

happens in the three Justice League books which

neither one of us are reading not that they're

bad books we just I can't read anymore I'm like

there unless something earth -shattering comes

out I'm done I'm at my limit I'm actually removing

stuff from my pull bag that I'm not you know

that I'm because generally what I'll do is I'll

get the ones that you know that I'm most interested

in I'll also get the ones that I know we have

to cover here in the podcast first before like

other ones like Birds of Prey, Kristy Marx is

doing an amazing job writing that book right

now but I just I mean there was a month or so

ago where I had like I had saved like four or

five of the issues To buy and it's like I don't

honestly I'm actively I took off Batman Superman

I Wasn't that thrilled with it first issue just

it just The first issue I didn't know what the

hell was going on at the end the second issue

I realized oh They're bringing two different

bat and Superman from two different earths, and

I'm like yeah, no Yeah, I kind of saw that and

I was like I'm good Yeah, it's just it's it's

another one of those cases of they're just I

Think that honestly and this is a discussion

for another day. I think DC's kind of lost their

way. I Really? Yeah, I think that they're just

they're throwing shots in the dark because things

aren't sticking and they're saying well Let's

throw this on the wall and see what happens Yep,

pretty much. Alright, so for Villains Month part

1 here in the pull bag in episode 35, we're going

to cover four of the Villains titles, specifically

to the Bat Villains. We've got Joker, the Ventriloquist,

Mr. Freeze, and Joker's daughter. We'll be back

after this. I give the punchlines around here!

Got it? So first up is Joker number one. And

I was really surprised because my research online

showed that the 3D motion covers were going to

be a dollar more and instead of $3 .99 they were

going to be $4 .99. My shop offered them to me

at regular price as a subscript. What they did

was they offered the 3D covers for the pull list

holders and the regular non -3D covers came in

like a week or so later. The 3d covers are nice.

They're they're they look kind of cool. I mean

it's it's it's interesting but it's not like

I Don't know it's just it's just not is what

it is So we get Jack Napier's origin story Steve.

Oh, I'm sorry. I Always have to make that joke

yeah bad joke yeah I know so we get a Joker origin

story here and it's quite different than what

I have seen in a like like these first three

pages all the black and like the muted it's not

necessarily black and white but it's some places

it looks like it is and muted reds and stuff

it's really really gritty and interesting art

and i don't mean gritty as oh my god someone

needs to wash this comic's mouth out with soap

um it just it's very very dark say say that way

um what do you think of these first couple of

pages as far as the art goes um i was kind of

impressed with The whole the whole thing. I mean,

I like the kind of Way to the portrayed the Joker

in it As well as the various home scenes of him

Yeah Now this is DC Comics unleashes the Joker

in time to monkey shine Written by Andy Kubert

Arts done by Andy Clark I Like the origin in

this but I Don't know. I just find I found this

story really weird I think cuz I'm so used to

Snyder writing the Joker and death of the family

that I'm just not used to someone else's story

and this honestly reminds me more of the Superman

the animated series entitled Monkey Fun where

Lois is trying to find a toy monkey that she

had as a child that comes to life this is just

weird to me I don't know I didn't really care

for it overall I love the art but the story itself

was just weird yeah it was It wasn't bad. I almost

got the Injustice Gods vibe from it. Yeah. Which,

I mean, it's very possible it's the same artist.

I don't know. But... The story was really creepy

and it was kind of weird seeing Joker with a

face again. Well, I mean we saw him with a face

in injustice for all of one issue that he was

there, but yeah I like the page where They're

at the premier department store and the monkeys,

you know Got his arms spread and you see a close

-up of Joker's face. I like that. I thought that

was great art But the story itself is supposedly

the monkey is his kid That's just Well, he was

the monkey's uncle so I Know but it just it's

just too weird for me. I I Just didn't really

care for it all that much as a joker story anything

I gotta mention is I Get its villains month and

all that but The fact that even though he's on

the cover in the background on the ground Batman

never actually shows up in this In any other

Well, no, I know I like none of the heroes To

my knowledge. Yeah, none of the heroes show up

in in any of the books that we'll be talking

about today. It just I Don't know All right moving

on to The ventriloquist number one now the ventriloquist

is the female version Gail Simone brought this

back in bad girl I like it. I enjoy it. I Think

it's an interesting way to do that way. We've

all seen you know Arnold Wesker or Wesker or

whatever his name is The one from Batman the

animated series we've all seen Scarface We know

what Scarface is and what he does and all that

this one We didn't know anything about because

it was in they were in Shawna and Ferdy were

in I think two issues of Batgirl in the new 52

and this is kind of like their origin story and

it's very very very interesting dark and cool

and um I do love this cover because it's the

two of them front and center with Red Hood, Red

Robin, Batgirl, Batman, Alfred and Nightwing

all strung up like little ventriloquist versions

of them all strung up It's sick and twisted,

but I really like Liz. And again, she has Batman

himself tied up at the bottom, but yet he never

actually shows up in this issue. Now why is it,

Steve, that you don't care for this version of

Ventriloquist? I think it's more so to do with

the fact that I like the Scarface kind of Ventriloquist.

The kind of dweebish guy from to me the animated

series is has that ventriloquist Mm -hmm, so

anything other than that it kind of just it comes

off weird to me It's not that I have a problem

with it being a female ventriloquist or anything

like that. It's just I'm used to the one version

so Seeing Someone else kind of doing it. It just

kind of throws me in a in a ringer Yeah, I just

This one to me this this version. She's It's

more so multiple personalities and I love the

way this story is told in the way that the art

that the The letters and everything else this

was written by Gail Simone, by the way writer

of Batgirl I love how Shawna and Ferdy's internal

monologues Shawna's showing up in like pinkish

red or whatever and then Ferdy's show up in green

when he when he's talking there's one here but

it was at a birthday party for one of my bestest

friends when destiny hit me like a poison like

poison in a punch bowl and Ferdy comes in and

he goes hey this part's about me it is a damn

good good comic and you just don't like when

she was in when they were in Batgirl you just

don't know what like how she's controlling him

and and you kind of see that here and the dummy

almost is like a separate like a entirely separate

person from Shauna I just I Really really enjoyed

this. I thought it was great So this is one of

my favorites from villains month Mr. Freeze I

Can't tell from the 3d cover. I don't think this

is probably one of the only covers that One of

the only covers so far that I've seen that doesn't

have Batman in it And it's basically the story

for mr. Freeze it's kind of a backwards origin

Where instead of like in in heart of ice there

was some other person at some other company that

was the fault of Victor getting frozen Here it's

supposedly the fault of Bruce Wayne Yeah, Bruce

Wayne is just such an evil guy. Yeah, really

Only if he's filled with clay that is Yeah I

Mean I like this I enjoy this I I think I would

have enjoyed it more if it had been written by

Paul Dini But overall The basic story is he's

It tells his origin as far as him losing his

mother and it basically replaces his mom with

It basically replaces Nora with his mom a little

strange, but I Love the the art I love all the

the ice puns I just I just I really enjoyed it

But it's a it's still it's just an origin story

really for him But it was a good one either way

All right So now we get down to the meat and

potatoes of this episode of the pull bag for

Villains Month Batman the Dark Knight 23 .4 Joker's

daughter number one the cover is some chick who

found Joker's face and put it on and she has

Really low sagging Stuff in the front with daddy's

girl on the shirt and Batman tight Batman and

chains behind her What was your first thought

when you heard about that they were doing this

like before the book even like because all the

news of this came out way before these were released

but like when you first saw it online what was

your initial opinion or thoughts Was wondering

exactly what the hell was going on because I'm

like Joker doesn't have a daughter and Then I

was like, okay, so what are they doing and then

all of a sudden there we go, I mean I I was I

Was wondering how the whole face thing came into

play? And all that so I mean it was it was kind

of strange for me to see that just kind of pop

up in there Yeah This is written by and no senti

artist is George's GNT I Like the art I think

it's cool and interesting I like how they basically

hide her face for the most part in the beginning

but it's just it's just a strange story and It

just is I mean, it's very very very strange and

then she finds the the face which It almost looks

like Vance's face like the page where she finds

it floating in the water Where she sees it and

it's the place where she says I look so good

better than ever in fact I'm beautiful all those

beauty treatments. I gave myself when I was young

really paid off Don't you think cat and then

she sees? or the you got the mask there and The

mask it looks like Robert Vance Smiling from

one of the Batman Beyond episodes to me in that

in that particular drawing But none of this really

says anything about her being his daughter other

than the fact that she found his face and put

it on Yeah, I don't I don't know it just It didn't

grab me is it like I thought I it was going to

and Supposedly she's based on a former character

What is it? Diana Duluth or Dee Dee Duluth or

Dulula or whatever but the art's great the art

is really the saving grace the art is amazing

in this I thought that was great the story however

not so much because like like I said the only

tie she has to the Joker is oh hey I found his

floating face yeah I mean I don't And I'm not

trying to be a downer. I mean, it's just I didn't

see the really the point in it. It was kind of

Yeah, she kind of had issues and then she sees

that she's like well anybody who has this gets

what they want So I got to use it too Yeah, and

then it's kind of like okay, yeah, you've done

that so now what Yeah, yeah and her final her

final lines are okay tribe lay of the land anything

out there that we want sounds like there are

a lot of beautiful things out there let's show

the world what happens when ugly takes over and

apparently joker's daughter will next appear

in catwoman number 24 seriously that's what it

says That's what it says. I do want to go back

and look at the other ones really quickly. I

want to see, because there are notes on, because

I've already read through all these, but there

are notes on the last pages of every one of the

issues if people are going to show up again or

not. Let's see. Freezes just end. Ventriloquist.

Ventriloquist to me, the Shawna and Ferdy version,

I think is a good main villain for Batgirl, since

she doesn't really have her own rogues gallery.

At the end of this one it says, end? Find out

in the pages of Batgirl. So Ventriloquist and

Ferdy will be back. As far as the Joker... We

should know by now he always comes back. Oh,

yeah, he doesn't die Well not in this story,

but it does say To be continued question mark

pick up current issues of Batman to find out

so Overall these these four titles Ventriloquist

is my number one favorite out of these four Joker

I love the art But I don't I didn't really care

for the story like it would have been different

if they had done like Like the origin part is

great, but the actual like the current day story

with the monkey and all that I care for that

Mr. Freeze is just another version of his origin

and Joker's daughter just almost seems pointless

Yeah, I kind of agree I'm finding that DC's comics

lately have been kind of anti -climatic and kind

of boring Not that I really want to say that

I just it's you know kind of I Just I'm having

a real hard time giving a crap about them Yeah

Well, I think the problem is specifically for

us is zero year Not that we have a problem with

Zero Year, but like that's the story the Batman

main title is doing right now Like I still love

the Batgirl stories. I still love the Nightwing

stories. I still really enjoy I'm enjoying the

Batman and series by Tomasi, but I don't think

I'm gonna be picking it up once it goes to Batman

and Two -Face I Don't know I don't think so I'm

almost thinking I'm getting close to being done

with a few of them just because it's getting

irritating All right, so that's gonna be villains

system, for me personally, I'm going to give

Joker's daughter... Three stars, which is barely

passing Mr.. Freeze. I'll give it three stars,

which is barely passing Joker I Don't know I

probably give it a two and a half I Just didn't

like it isn't a joke like the entire time. I

read the Joker book for villains month. I didn't

hear Mark Hamill's voice in my head. I didn't

hear even Kevin Michael Richardson's voice in

my head when he was on The Batman. I didn't hear,

what's his name from? Red Hood. Oh, played him

in Red Hood. Oh, it's gonna kill me. John DiMaggio?

Like, I didn't hear John DiMaggio. I didn't hear...

I didn't even hear Heath Ledger or Jack Nicholson

in my head when I read that Joker story. I don't

know what Andy Kubert was thinking of when he

wrote that. It seems like a weird thing to tie

to the origin like the origin part is great It's

the only good thing about it But it just the

whole monkey thing just seems weird to tie it

to that or you know Write something where he

does steal Tim Drake or Jason Todd or I don't

know I just don't know Ventriloquist for me is

the most interesting out of these four, and I

would give that a five out of five, which is

a perfect. What about you? I would give Ventriloquist

probably, I don't know, I can't really rate it.

I didn't read it, so it's not really fair. Just

because I don't care for the character, so that

would just be mean. The Joker's daughter I'd

give like a one just cuz I really didn't think

it was necessary I Can agree to that I know it

sounds mean but I just I don't care Freeze I

Would give it a three out of out of five or if

we're doing the four scale then I'd give it a

two but The Joker I'd probably go like a three

just because it wasn't too bad Only for the fact

that he got this monkey and I was thinking yeah,

that's plenty of the apes or He's training the

young gorilla grad and then you know he falls

to his doom But it was interesting seeing this

side of the Joker Do you feel a little bit sympathetic

towards him? Mm -hmm. So I mean, in that essence,

I could kind of get that, but... All right. Well,

The Court of Owls, Ra's Al Ghul and the League
