About this Episode

Chuck, Greg, and Dan dive into Marvel's Daredevil season two, discussing how it stacks up against the first season, the introduction of the Punisher and Elektra, the show's approach to multiple storylines, and standout performances from Charlie Cox. They explore the moral complexity between Daredevil and Punisher, the impressive fight choreography, and how the season handles themes of identity and ideology rather than relying on a single villain.

Hellooo Nets! This is Jesse from Rock Sugar and

you're listening to the GeekCats Radio Network.

Keep it right here. You are now on the inside

of what I like to call the circle of trust. We

are all connected in a great circle of life.

You know something Bert? What? I think you and

I are going in circles. It feels like we're going

in circles. The circuit is now complete. When

I left you, I was about to learn you. Now I am

the master. Because it's a circle. Yeah, we heard

about the circle. Yeah, it's familiar with shapes.

Hi, this is Chuck. This is Greg. And this is

Dan. And we are Talking in Circles brought to

you by Geekcast Radio Network. I say that today

because we will be discussing finally Daredevil

season 2. It's we've been getting arrested if

we said that at an airport. Yes. Yes. So hopefully

you're not listening to this while being fixed

by the TSA or whatever. But you know, yeah, here

it goes. But before we get to Hell's Kitchen,

how's week been going for you guys? My week was

pretty uneventful but I read something really

funny right before we started doing the podcast,

and I was just going through Facebook, and this

thing popped up in my newsfeed that Nicolas Cage

and former lead singer from Motley Crue, Vince

Neil, got in a fight in Las Vegas. Who won the

fight? I was like, okay, this sounds completely

ridiculous, but it's enough to grab my attention,

so I clicked on it. Nice. And it was actually

legit, but I guess like, I don't know, they didn't

have a lot of details, but apparently some woman

came up to Nicholas Cage like asking for an autograph.

And inexplicably, I don't know why, but Vince

Neil apparently grabbed her by her hair and like

drug her down to the ground. Don't know if he

had a reason I don't know if he knew her or something

happened, but they didn't really know but at

that point Nicholas cage started to fight Vince

Neil and Proceeded to put him in a headlock and

kept yelling for him to calm down And the dialogue

was something like this calm down And you know

Nicklaus Katie he's either only whispers or screams

really loudly. And no Nicolas Cage, they're probably

going to release that if there's footage of it

in theaters, because why not? He's released worse

movies. It'll probably be better acting than

some of his best stuff. It was funny because

the article was trolling on the dude a little

bit because they're like, oh, Nicolas Cage got

An Oscar for his performance in league leaving

Las Vegas, which is probably what mr. Neal is

doing right now I just thought that was completely

hilarious hilarious because I find Nicholas cage

hilarious to begin with yeah, he's not trying

to be and Today's random story of the day very

nice Greg how things going with you? All right,

nothing too excited just working out and dieting

as maybe the people that follow me on Twitter

realized for my my zombie tweet I'm very various.

I'm dieting. So I'm very sympathetic to the zombie

cause nice nice nice Yeah, well, it's hard just

to catch that in between all the Funko tweets.

So it's like Sorry It's either Funko or Harding

MLE right Ajinkowski's tweets uh which have been

really political so i don't tweet out her stuff

as much anymore very nice yeah my week has been

on eventful as well uh first week back after

vacation so that was nice i didn't get to uh

for some reason we had uh wwe network free for

a little bit so i watched wrestlemania which

is the first thing i've done i haven't done that

in forever i don't know about you guys but i

used to be back into wrestling when i was like

in I don't know in the 90s or so, you know back

in the day, but when it was real, I guess no,

it wasn't ever Yeah, I was a big wrestling fan

too early 90s. Yeah, so I kind of was Yeah, I

was just in it to be cool. Yeah Which is why

we do a podcast, because that's exactly the reason.

But I was kind of surprised just how many people

were still around, like Mick Foley and Shawn

Michaels and Austin and Chris Jericho was still

wrestling. I'm like, man, that's insane. It was

a good show, I guess. The Bella twins there?

Not what I saw, no. Don't know if they were I

didn't watch the whole thing because it was like

18 hours long, but what wasn't really 18 hours

It was like seven hours, which is still really

long. I only watched I watched like they did

a pretty good ladder match, which is pretty which

was nice and She McMahon jumping off the top

of the hell in the hell in the cell, which I'm

like, that's kind of crazy But didn't he do that

already? No, it was Mick Foley who got thrown

off the top of one and then went through it onto

the onto the mat Which wasn't apparently planned

that wasn't supposed to happen, but it did so

Uh, but it's insane. So I don't know. That was

just kind of cool because I haven't watched wrestling

in a long time and I kind of miss it a little

bit because it used to be a lot of fun, but it's

hard. I don't have the channel it's on. So, uh,

I, I haven't watched it in so long. I think I

stopped watching it right when, uh, like the

rock and Steve Austin came around. That's kind

of right when I stopped watching it. I think

that's when I started. Yeah. Yeah. Cause I was

like, I loved Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior,

they were my two favorites. Do you like Hulk

Hogan being an ultimate warrior in bed? No, but

in the courtroom apparently, since he just won

like several million dollars. Like 150 million.

Yeah, I'm not so much a fan of him in real life.

I kind of become a douche. He kind of wants to

bang his daughter, which is kind of weird, but

yeah. Yeah, there's the love Hulk Hogan ultimate

warrior British Bulldog all those guys back in

the early 90s stuff I wasn't then and then like

in when I was more WCW and like NW I was around

then like they got really bad and weird near

the end like To the point where they had like

people on poles all the time. It was like it

was weird. Not sure Not yeah, I was just like

all these random pole matches. I remember much

Randy Savage and Ric Flair have I actually got

to see them wrestle once, too. They came to Scranton.

That was pretty cool. Yeah, I went to a couple

live ones. We were seeing The Undertaker and

a few other people back in the day. Welcome to

Wrestling Podcast. Yeah, I know. I know. Sorry

about that. It went deeper than I thought we

would. But besides that, you get off the... To

get off the subject of wrestling, I'll throw

it over to you, Chuck, because I know you did

watch something, something I've been curious

about. I haven't watched it because I haven't

kept up with Supergirl. But I know you did catch

the Supergirl flash episode crossover that we

were talking about for a while. So how did that

go? And was it kind of a, did it live up to the

hype? Was it like a cheap spinoff where he like

runs over in the background and you never see

him again? How'd it go? No, it was, I mean, it

went pretty well. I thought it was really fun,

actually. Guess one thing disappointed me that

flash wasn't as big of a part in the final fight

as I had hoped but he did actually play a pretty

big role in it surprisingly and I Was gonna say

it's not it wasn't earth shattering, but it kind

of was since he came from a different earth So

they are playing in those different dimensions

Yeah Or earth vibrating, maybe you could call

it. But, you know, it was kind of corny when

they first started off, because it's like, well,

I don't want to spoil anything if anybody hasn't

seen it. But, you know, he comes in at this very

opportune moment to rescue someone like right

at that moment. And I mean, that was kind of

weird, but it was fun the way they did it, I

think. And I really enjoyed actually more so

than when they were in costume like Flash and

Supergirl. I enjoyed. more of the Barry and Clara

interaction, and especially with the friends,

Jimmy, Olsen, and Wynn, their whole group interaction,

I thought, was better than the action scenes,

because of the villains they were fighting in

the show, Livewire and Silver Banshee, they left

a lot to be desired. But the actual parts with

them and their alter egos, like... meeting Wynn

and Jimmy Olsen and everything and Wynn and Barry

immediately hitting it off and becoming friends

and stuff like that was really cool to see and

all that interaction so I mean I think it was

really fun ride all in all I mean I enjoyed it

for what it was you know it's a little TV crossover

it's not gonna be incredible like a movie crossover

but it was it was fun for someone like me who's

never watched an episode well I haven't watched

Supergirl since the first episode Can I, could

I watch that episode and still kind of keep up

with everything? I think so. I don't, I don't

really think it would, uh, it would matter because

I mean, you're at this point where, uh, because

of a previous episode, uh, the, the people of

the city don't really trust a super girl because

of something that she did. Did they watch Batman

and Superman and just assume that like, no, we

don't want to trust anyone that's related to

that guy. They thought the S stood for Snyder,

so. Maybe he does too, and maybe that's the problem.

She was under the influence of Red Crypt tonight,

so she did some things that kind of ticked off

everybody in the city. Sex tape. When she teams

up with Barry, they kind of give her a chance

to redeem herself and stuff like that. I really

don't think you would be lost if you were to

watch it. I think it's... I think it's just sort

of a. It's a standalone, but it's also like it

also kind of continues her story a little bit,

so I think you'd be totally fine checking it

out, not seeing any of the other episodes. One

thing I will say is that. Super girl. definitely

tends to be very corny with like the villains

and the fight scenes and stuff like it's it definitely

feels like it's aimed at like eight year old

girls or like 11 year old girls or something

or you know not just girls but i'm just saying

like really yeah younger kids like tweeners and

stuff because uh i don't get that same vibe like

when i'm watching flash and stuff it just feels

like a little bit more mature and a little bit

more well done But this Supergirl is pretty consistent

with the corniness and that's one thing that

kind of bothers me. But you can pick certain

things out of it and really enjoy it if you let

yourself. Cool. Cool. All righty. Very nice.

Greg, I know you've had a busy week. You've been

watching and reading some stuff. So what have

you been up to? Uh, well... There's a movie that

I haven't seen in well over two decades that

I finally found on Netflix and as soon as I saw

it I kind of I Didn't really but in my head I

squealed like a little girl in glee Because it

I remember back in the day just loving this movie

And I'm like, why haven't I seen this in such

a long time? And it really, really holds up if

you ask me. The technology and the clothing may

date it a little bit, but the story and the emotions

and the acting in it really make it shine today

like it did back in the day. So I thought it

was really well done. And if you haven't seen

it in a while, I would definitely check out E

.T., the extraterrestrial. If you haven't seen

it, shame on you. I feel shameful for not seeing

it in such a long time, but it really does hold

up. I'm not sure how when I was little, I wasn't

bawling my eyes out because I almost bawled my

eyes out when E .T. supposedly dies. Spoiler

alert. Like it was just. Like oh my god, really

this happened. Why don't I remember this from

my youth? It was it was so effective of a thing

If there was gonna be a knock on the movie, I

would say Some of the puppets were a little weirdly

done with especially the one coming out of the

ship Towards the end of the movie. He was they're

very blocky for some reason. Their body was like

a big block of styrofoam or something, which

was kind of weird, but they definitely did a

great job with all that kind of stuff besides

the blockiness, but go see ET if you haven't

seen it in a while. It's a lot of fun. See, that's

interesting that you have that to take. I watched

it probably, I don't know, it was quite a while

ago, but it was maybe like eight, 10 years ago,

something like that. like I remember loving it

when I was a kid when I was like real small maybe

like seven or something and uh I had watched

it again when I was older and I remember thinking

how it didn't hold up for me because I remember

watching it and thinking like how did I like

this as a kid like this I don't know it just

didn't hold up for me personally I didn't really

enjoy it the when I watched it being older I

loved it, Chuck. I thought it was great. It was

hitting all the emotional cues that you want

to hit and for me and the acting was well done

and it looked pretty cool except for a couple

exceptions and I had fun with it. two years ago,

maybe three years ago, I went through every Steven

Spielberg movie and reviewed them. And so I watched

this kind of recently too and I did really enjoy

it. But there's also like a updated new release

version. They did like, I want to say in early

2000s that kind of altered. ET like put some

CGI in there and a few scenes So I went in kind

of a just that the one with the they switched

out the guns for walkie -talkie Yes, that is

that would be the one it's it's not this one

because they were definitely holding guns and

that was kind of the one thing in the movie that

was like What the hell they have guns there.

It's kids. Why do they have guns? kids with special

powers, I mean come on, but yeah, I Special powers

ET did Well, yeah, he and then there's always

the theory that ET is actually a Jedi because

he appears in I think is it one of the prequels

or not him but like a Kid dressed up as Yoda

kind of knowingly like hey, I know you kind of

when they're trick -or -treating Yeah, so there's

the any hands like kind of the force powers So

there's there's always that theory which hey,

I mean we have a lot of stores movies Maybe we

can finally get like an ET Jedi training something.

I don't know But that's interesting, because

I didn't really watch ET as a kid. I think the

first time I watched it really was when I was

an adult. And I did like it. There's a lot of

little touches I love about it. What's kind of

interesting about that movie is they shot it

in sequence So when the kids were saying goodbye

to ET they were legitimately saying it so Spielberg

and kind of like get their Actual emotions because

they're like finally ending this thing and that's

one Spielberg thing is I think Spielberg is good

at is getting good child Performances and you

know making kids feel like real kids. So But

I didn't know what's on Netflix. That's kind

of cool yeah i think they just added it maybe

i don't know because i i just found it the one

day and i got super excited about it okay But,

that's actually kind of funny, Greg, that you

bring up something about, you know, a long, long

time ago that you used to watch, or maybe...

In a galaxy far, far away? Yeah, now that we're

having that Star Wars reference, it actually

kind of works out well because, of course, it's

apparently every year now we're getting a Star

Wars movie, and the new trailer for Star Wars

Rogue One did get released. They released it,

I guess, during Good Morning America, but...

Dear Good Morning America, still not gonna watch

you with the Star Wars trailer. I'll wait until

it comes online. Nice try, but no. But besides

that, now that we did get the opportunity to

see Star Wars Rogue One, I was kinda curious

for one, A, were you at all interested in this

to begin with? And B, did the trailer change

that positively or negatively? Greg, I guess

I'll throw that to you first. I think the concept

is interesting of the whole spy realm in Star

Wars films and especially the spies that went

back and got the plans for the Death Stark as

you remember in the original film. Is it this

one or is it Return of the Jedi where many Bothans

died to bring us this information? I think it's

New Hope, right? I think so. But that was kind

of like, what happened with all these guys dying?

That sounds like a cool story, too. And with

the trailer, it just kind of went through the

paces for me. It didn't really give me anything

too, too exciting. It introduced a new character

to us, set up that backstory of that she's gonna

go in and take these plans. So it really didn't

change my mind one way or the other. It really

didn't. give me anything else. I thought Felicity

Jones looks cute. But other than that, it was

just kind of like going through the motions,

setting stuff up. Hopefully in the next one,

they'll give us something a little bit meatier

to bite onto. So Chuck, what did you think? I

thought it looked pretty cool. I was interested

before this. I was kind of interested in how

you know, this would take place in between three

and four, you know, finding the blueprints for

the Death Star and all that stuff. Like, it had

enough intrigue for me to sort of get interested

in it anyway. So when I saw the trailer, it was

really cool. They didn't show a whole lot, but

listen, any time I'm hearing that Star Wars music

and I hear like the laser blasters going off,

it's just, I'm in already. Just count me in.

Plus we get Force Winter. So that's pretty awesome

Yeah, yeah, I Really loved the trailer and I'm

okay there is not that much more meat to that

bone because I think with a lot of trailer especially

thinking back to like the dawn of justice trailer

that sometimes we get you know the entire meal

and we just get like a little bit left of dessert

and we actually go see the thing so you know

considering this was just a teaser i i really

liked i mean i love the look of it i think it

looks fantastic in the sense of you know it feels

like of that time but still updated i love the

you know the the shot of the in the walkers with

them running out like that looks pretty awesome

and uh some like little glimpses of Donnie Yen

um like kind of doing some awesome samurai moves

which i'm like that's gonna be kind of cool and

just like getting an actual war movie for star

wars where apparently there'll be no jedi in

this it's just gonna be like you know ragtag

group of pontons or whatever they are called

bonbons is that it's not bonbons right now those

are chocolate candies Which are delicious, but

so I'm and you know the looks of the certain

stormtroopers with the like crazy black mask

I feel like these trailers alone it probably

sold tons and tons of toys because every time

they introduced like a new version of a stormtrooper

and I'm sure like there's already 18 people Cosplaying

as that character that just was released after

this trailer like even just the cast itself It's

really strong, which has had me interested in

it since the beginning. I mean, I loved Lucy

Jones when she was in Theory of everything, you

know, I wasn't the biggest fan of that film Ben

Mendelsohn who it's like one of my favorite actors

working today as like an Emperor Empire or like

Lord or whatever he's gonna be wearing a cape

because I mean it's a cape is badass but also

like a white cape as for a bad guy That's almost

even a more badass somehow So that that has me

really curious on how that's gonna work out for

it would occur like you mentioned. So I'm I'm

really hoping for this film. Beforehand, I was

kind of worried because in the sense of, are

we going to be over flooding the market with

Star Wars movies? But if they're really good

movies, hey, I'm all for it. So I heard the rumor

that Darth Vader could possibly make an appearance

in this. Has anything else about that been revealed

or do you think that would happen? Nothing yet.

But if you go to like the last frame of the trailer,

there's that Shot of Lissy Jones. She's like

in the room that like Luke Skywalker was and

I believe an Empire and They kind of liked up

the same way and then some people say you can

kind of hear Darth Vader's breath I personally

couldn't but that's at this point. It's just

a rumor if he's gonna be there somehow Maybe

he'll be the guy who Gareth Edwards is the person

who is directing this and he directed Godzilla

So maybe I'll just show up the end and destroy

the entire town or something Good guy Vader.

The other rumor I heard too was that Felicity

Jones in this could possibly be playing the mother

of Rey from The Force Awakens. So I don't know

if that lines up time -wise, but apparently this

takes place before A New Hope. So I guess it's

possible, depending. I don't know. I saw a little

animated picture thing on Facebook that the Star

Wars page posted and it was like a little drawn

diagram that someone doodled and It had like,

you know each of those six or each of the seven

episodes and then they had like the rogue one

thing with the arrow right between Episode three

and four and it said like rogue one happens here

and then there was like little notes and stuff

scribbled on it So I'm like, oh, that's really

helpful ten years from now. There's gonna be

like 18 more arrows But when we come back, what

we're going to do, we're going to be reviewing

Daredevil Season 2, and since you've had a lot

of time up to this point, we're going to be spoiling

the hell out of it. So if you've not watched

it, I would say stop listening now and come back

later, but after break, we're going to get right

into and review. Daredevil, Season 2, now with

Punisher. I'm Dane Lamont, and my co -host Jake

Williams and I cover the good, the bad, and the

hilarious on The Punisher in comics, movies,

and news. Do you like chummy co -host banter?

We got that. You need to get your fucking hands

out, man. No, you need to fucking pay attention

to the fucking movie. You want kick -ass guest

interviews? How about Mike Barron and Tom Jane?

No, I like a little bit of grit in my cigars.

You want carefully considered in -depth analysis?

I mean, yeah, just one best picture at the Oscars

yesterday. I mean, it's no Terminator. Good luck

with that. Punisher Body Count, twice a month

on Geekcast Radio. All right, and welcome back.

And like I mentioned, we are reviewing Daredevil

Season 2. We've been talking about it forever.

We talked about the trailers. Punisher coming.

lot going on before we get into the nitty gritty

of it all, but maybe we just get some general

thoughts over what we thought of this last season.

Maybe this time, Chuck, I'll start with you here.

Overall impressions of Daredevil Season 2? Better

than last season? Worse than last season? About

the same? Live up to expectations? What did you

think? equally as much. I thought it was, you

know, once again, it was masterfully done. I

do love the drama of the show, but to be honest,

I really look forward to those action scenes.

And this show has quite possibly the most exceptional

fight choreography I have ever seen. And that's

like a lot of what I look forward to in the show.

Like this this season I thought it was kind of

slow in the middle a little bit with you know

with the whole Punisher trial and some of the

legal stuff they were going through which was

totally necessary to the story and it definitely

developed a lot of things but Those were sort

of like a little for me and then like the last

I don't know, it was maybe the last five episodes

or the last four episodes or something where

it just like kicked into high gear again. And

I just absolutely loved them. And I thought it

finished really, really strong. And that sort

of left like a I guess a good reaction for me

finishing strong like that and everything made

it kind of memorable and stuff. And actually,

I might go back and watch like the last four

episodes just because those are like my favorite.

But. Yeah, I was extremely pleased with it. There

was you know a couple Well one in particular

like a appearance from someone from last season

which obviously was the kingpin That a lot of

people didn't expect I think they were trying

to kind of keep it a secret Yeah, that was sort

of a pleasant surprise. I remember before the

show or sorry. I remember before We were talking

about, I forget what we were doing, but we were

talking about how, you know, he wasn't credited

at IMDB for any of the season and we were kind

of disappointed he was to be showing up again.

So yeah, that moment completely surprised me

when he actually returned to the show. Yeah.

And I think I had read somewhere that they were

trying to sort of keep that a secret so that

it would be like, you know, this huge surprise,

like halfway through the season. And I thought

it was, and they did a great job. They didn't

just bring him in just because he was successful

in Season 1. It's like, look, this is our successful

character. They actually did something meaningful

with him, and it was great the way they incorporated

him into the Season 2 story. So it was aces all

the way around. Very cool. Greg, thoughts on

Season 2 of Daredevil? Yeah, I agree with a lot

of what Chuck said it was really great Yeah,

it's it's kind of up there with season one I'm

not sure if it surpassed it or not, but it was

still really close up there and a great Follow

-up to the the first season definitely loved

Kingpin coming back into action because he was

one of my favorite parts from season one I agree

that the court scenes kind of got a little bit

slow and Slowed the action down a little bit

action scenes were great and awesome I thought

John Baranthal did a great job as the Punisher.

I still like Thomas Jane is as the Punisher he's

still my favorite though because I like the portrayal

of a more thinking Punisher as opposed to the

Brash just go in gun shooting Punisher, but still

overall a great addition to the the show But

yeah, I like how Karen Page is developing with

this. Like she has to investigate everything

and she's kind of moving in at the paper a little

bit. And I loved Electra. Electra was a great

addition as well. I thought the actress who played

her did a great job. Very gorgeous. but I thought

it added an interesting new level to Elektra,

the way they put her in, and of course a stick

coming in was also pretty cool with how that

played out with Elektra as well. Yeah, I'll make

it three for three. I know I'm the one that asked

the question, but I feel like it's really hard

for me to compare season one and season two.

I feel like I like... both for different reasons

and like I there are certain things I like more

about season two like I do think the action overall

in season two is probably better though season

one's still great I just think there's more I

think they kind of just got better at it just

to practice it in a way especially like with

the hand coming in and some of those fight scenes

were phenomenal I did miss having a character

like the Ken Pen like we got in season one where

we didn't have that in season two but we kind

of went a different route. The way I look at

season two for Daredevil is kind of like with

the comic and when you have like a say they're

trying to make a new character or debut a new

comic what they do first is they do that like

12 issue mini -series that they know is going

to be a mini -series and it's kind of self -contained

everything but it's one complete story that kind

of that has a little bit of like a cliffhanger

or a possibility to go someplace else if they

want to but it's also by itself and because they

didn't know at that point like what you know

what they get more like what what exactly would

happen so i think they were smart and just you

know if season one was all it would still be

satisfied with what you got which i think was

a smart way to do it what i did like about season

two is that they went about it in a completely

different way It's like when you get that mini

-series and now it's an ongoing series, so you're

expanding the world, you're going with multiple

story arcs that maybe won't all finish, you don't

necessarily have one central character, you kind

of jump and have storylines that kind of come

and come out. One episode's about one storyline,

another episode's about another one, so it can

be somewhat chaotic depending, but I kind of

like that and I think it was a smart move because

I think some of the issues even with the comic

books... Series in comic book TV shows that I

do like is they kind of get a slave to formula

in a sense where I kind of know what to expect

They kind of just they're just taking the same

characters and replacing them and you're just

waiting for the inevitable With this I really

wasn't sure like after four episodes and like

the Punisher story I'm like, well, is that it

easy is he done is this all we're getting of

them though I love those four episodes and I

liked how it kind of continued that but in a

different way and then brought in Electra and

Us waiting for that like, okay, who is the villain

here? We got one, but we didn't get one and that

was okay though I kind of like how what they

did it was more, you know, there was just more

going on it was it was less about the villain

and more about the characters and heroes and

the ideology of these characters and kind of

figuring out who they were it's in a way, it's

almost like Empire Strikes Back in the sense

of It's not about defeating the Empire there.

It's everything else. It's kind of building to

the future in a way, so I did really like it.

The performances were all strong. I thought some

of the issues I had with left last season were

fixed. Like, I wasn't the biggest fan of Foggy

Nelson in season one. I do feel like he became

so much better of a character in season two.

He's solving issues. He's staying up for himself.

He's kind of picking up the slack of Matt Murdock.

I love a lot of the dynamic he gets into with

Matt Murdock in the sense of him not wanting

him to be Daredevil and, you know, they're back

and forth and how he's often bright and he kind

of has that moral ground. He's not just this

bumbling fool. He kind of shows he's intelligent.

He's capable. It's just as much as Matt Murdock

in a lot of ways. We'll probably get to the Punisher,

obviously, and talk a lot about that. But I did

also want to note, you won't forget how great

Charlie Cox is. And I thought he was fantastic

this season in the way he portrayed Daredevil.

there's something about him like he entered into

this new level of confidence in a way like you

seem to have seemed like he like he enjoys being

that character or daredevil enjoys being daredevil

like he has a little bit he smiles more when

he's in the action like he just seems to enjoy

it and he's unapologetic about being daredevil

you know matt murdoch um he knows that foggy

has issues with him he knows he wants him to

stop but he's not going to and he doesn't feel

bad about not doing that which i like like there's

he's a character that often has guilt but that's

one thing he's not guilty of though maybe he

can see what his actions portray but ultimately

I think there's so much going on in the season

but in a good way specifically how taking away

the kingpin almost made things more insane and

more dangerous because now the heads off the

snake and in a way like a Hydra you just built

in like four more heads that are trying to gain

control so but I've been babbling a lot and I

think A good place to start, and I know you already

talked about him already, Greg, but going into

it, this was the Punisher. Like I said, season

two now with Punisher, and the question is, are

we going to get Punisher right? Though we have

felt that we've gotten him right in the past.

Chuck, maybe I'll start with you here. What did

you think of the portrayal of the Punisher in

this? Because certainly a different take that

we've gotten him in the past. So what did you

think of his character and the way that Jon Barathal

performed the character? I think he did a really

great job. I was happy with him for the most

part. I was sort of surprised the direction they

went. I mean, obviously, they needed to create

some sort of like turmoil between him and Daredevil,

kind of like, you know, what should have been

really developed in Batman versus Superman, like

the two opposing ideologies and everything. But

I was sort of surprised the way they went with

Punisher because to me, I think in in this particular

season John Bernthal's Punisher, I think he was

more revenge driven than Punisher driven if you

get what I'm saying. My point is this like in

the Tom Jane version which I know I compared

a lot to but it's really the best thing we have

to compare to and In that movie he he set a line

a quote Greg Publ - who remembers it very well,

that really stuck with me. And it's where he's

explaining what he's doing is not because of

revenge, because revenge is not a valid motive.

It's an emotional response. And he said, this

is just punishment. He was calculated in everything

he did. He was just out to punish them. He wasn't

just reacting and basically taking revenge. But

in this Bernthal's was really revenge -driven,

I thought, which was a really interesting take

on the character, and I don't think it took away

from anything at all. And I think it worked well

in the season, and it worked well to sort of

contrast Matt Murdoch and Daredevil. So I think

that was perfect, but it was just interesting

to me that it was different. He wasn't as calculated

in everything he was doing. hell bent on punishing

things, but I also realized that Punisher's just

sort of starting to, he's just being born in

this basically, so to speak. This is the origin

story of the Punisher in this universe. And you

don't even see him get the skull logo until the

very last episode. So there's room for him to

become that more... Calculated Punisher where

he's just out to punish criminals and that's

what he stands up for so it would make sense

that he sort of starts off as more revenge driven

but the way I can look at it too is that with

the Thomas Jane Punisher like he becomes Frank

Castle like dies immediately and The Punisher

is born where and like you said in this there's

much more of a transformation there which makes

sense because you know with movie you have two

hours to tell a story but with this you have

you know 13 episodes you can kind of expand upon

that and What I'd like about him in this it is

very fractured. He's with the Punisher character

like reading the comics I always feel like you

get so many different versions of him like when

you read an actual Punisher comic he's like you

said he's a thank you man's Punisher he He's

cold calculated. He is his hero, but then when

you read like I'm thinking of something like

when he appeared in Civil War He is he is almost

psychotic in a way especially in like the way

like other characters see him So and he's kind

of both in certain care comics as well in Daredevil

and so you you see Like that depending on who's

writing him depending on what? who's comic it

is, you may get a different type of character

with the Punisher. So I felt like what this did

was give us kind of all those different versions

of him in the sense of like, you know, he's this

mysterious figure like in the background and

what was great is that Marvel smartly does and

the writers smartly do. They write the Punisher

not towards comic book fans, but they write it

towards fans who have no idea who this character

is, so you get to know him. Like, yeah, we kind

of know it's one man. We kind of know, like,

yeah, when that army of mobsters gets mowed down,

we know that's the Punisher, but just giving

the idea that those people... on the ground,

those people in the show, they think it's an

army of vigilantes or an army of another mob

coming in trying to kill them. This gives you

the sense of how much power or like how efficient

this guy is. But what we also see is that he's

still kind of like, he's clinging on to his sanity

in a lot of ways, clinging on to his morality

that's very loosely there. And I feel like to

me, we don't get, like he doesn't get that back

or he doesn't ever really... Become the Punisher

into those last moments I feel like I still think

like Frank Castle still kind of there And he's

still kind of trying to figure out who exactly

he's going to be now but I don't know I I really

loved what they did with him and It's hard to

compare him to Thomas Jane, but I think he might

be it might be my what I find the most interesting

version of The Punisher It just for I think it's

season four and his scene In the graveyard like

that moment in itself to me. I'm like, wow I

gained new respect for Baranthal as an actor

like I always thought he was kind of you know,

he a little bit over the top and he didn't have

much nuance, but In that moment, I'm like, wow,

he's much better than I ever gave him credit

for. And there's so much into that scene and

so emotionally resonant. And I think it really

makes you sympathize for that character, no matter

what he's doing. And I think it's a very, I think

it's very much a key to the entire series. But

Greg, I know you already touched upon it already,

but any other thoughts regarding Baranthal and

the portrayal of Punisher in this season? Not

really. thought he did a good job and he was

definitely brutal. I would like to see him more

a thinking man, but that's kind of a personal

thing of how I like my Punisher. I kind of wish

they would do like, I'm not sure how they would

do it, but like a mix between like Punisher Max

kind of comics and the thinking man kind of Punisher.

But it's a hard mix and I'd I did like the costume

of how they developed on the skull for his shirt

and everything with him being shot in the head

and how he's using that as his kind of logo.

So I thought that was kind of a cool development.

It was interesting, Dan. You enjoyed Bernthal's

Punisher better. I enjoyed it a great deal too,

but I think the reason why I like the Thomas

Jane one a little bit more is because of that

immediate sort of Snap that happens to his mind

like he he totally bypasses that transition phase

where you know He's reacting and he's angry and

everything like he just like for the most part

just skips over that Because it's just such a

traumatic thing that his mind just snaps immediately

And I think that's what sort of drew me to that

version a little bit more because it's like wow

this guy really had like some shit happened to

him because he is just like gone now. Like so

that kind of had more of like a lasting impact

on me, just that sudden thing. But I think both

are both have their great points and both are

very well done in their own right. And I don't

think it's fair to say one's better than the

other. It's just a matter of whoever your favorite

is. Yeah, I think what I like about the. Not

having that snap. I'm now like, you know, I'm

a different person is I don't I find it like

that transformation Like watching that transformation

happen or just seeing kind of that humanity slowly

flip away or just him trying to wrestle with

that because I like that struggle especially

Considering like all the other things that are

going on this season. But I mean, I think there

are some benefits to saying like just When you

have something of that nature occur and it's

just you're one person and then after it you're

completely another person. But I think with this,

considering it's a series versus a movie, I think

I get why they went this way because it gives

you a little bit more to kind of get into and

figure out like what is the motives really driving

behind this character. Yes, Zack Snyder, those

things are called motives that you put them in

to it. Last time I talked about it, but yeah.

But not only that, the reason it works so well

in this and Daredevil too is because Matt Murdock's

almost on that journey with him, exploring that

morality and everything. And that's one of the

reasons I thought Charlie Cox was so great this

season, because he's struggling with these issues

of morality and he's seeing things in the Punisher

and he's trying physically as hard as he possibly

can to not become like him, but he knows like,

It's so hard. It's like he's rolling this boulder,

you know up a hill but I think that you know

doing it the way that doing the Punisher the

way they did really like sort of highlighted

things in Daredevil so it really was the best

way to go about it to be honest and Just seeing

Matt Murdock sort of engrossed becoming engrossed

in the daredevil persona and just like shirking

his duties as Matt Murdoch and to the law firm

and just like he's completely like he's almost

like 90 10 daredevil like he's he's almost like

a banding in his real life like he's skipping

important things like he's not showing up he's

not calling people and it was just like he's

just taken in but on this journey and it was

just like They both really worked well together.

It was really well done. Yeah, I always love

that dynamic between Daredevil and Punisher even

just in the comics because they're like two people

that they very morally oppose one another in

different ways, but they also feel like each

other is necessary. Like they don't want each

other to change. Like I think... Daredevil realizes

sometimes you need the Punisher and Punisher

realizes that like he doesn't want Daredevil

to go down the same path because even in this

in this season you know Daredevil makes a comment

about like maybe having to kill this guy and

Punisher talks him out of it because he's like

He has a great moment Yeah, like you can't just

do it once and then go back and Punisher but

kind of pushing Daredevil in a way was just like

was him testing him like I think He didn't want

Daredevil to kill him, even though it seemed

like he did. I think he just there's it's almost

like the Magneto Xavier relationship in a way.

Yeah. And I loved like at the end, sort of the

culmination of all of this, where you see Daredevil

and Electra fighting the hand on the rooftop

and. You want to talk about like stand up and

cheer moments like when the Punisher started

taking out a couple of those guys Like I jumped

up out of the seat. I was like, yeah clapping

and stuff like it was awesome, you know Those

are some of those defining moments. You're looking

forward something like this those like those

really stand up and cheer moments And that was

really awesome. And then when you see like, you

know after they kill Electra Daredevil just kind

of snaps a little bit and he just goes nuts on

no boo and he sort of flings him off the roof

sort of haphazardly doesn't seem like he really

cares if he killed him or not and like it's like

it's like oh wow he's you know getting kind of

dark here like he's he's pissed he's super pissed

but I think you realize like he kind of knew

he couldn't kill him and You know, obviously

you see Nobu kind of come back to life on the

ground and everything and, you know, stick to

take care of it. Cause he knew, I think he kind

of knew Matt wouldn't, you know, want to kill

him. So I liked how like Daredevil flirted with

that line, but he never crossed it. Like he still

realized who he was and he stuck to his values

and he never crossed that line. I thought, I

was really happy with how they ended that. Like

it was really, really well known. Nice, nice.

Another new addition to this season was the Electra,

obviously. After we get the ending, the culmination,

or at least the first arc of The Punisher, Electra

shows up and we get her storyline, which took

up the majority of the second half of the series.

So starting there... Greg, what were your thoughts

on Electra better than the actual movie or, uh,

you know, High standard than the actual movie.

They definitely gave her a different tone. I

think than the comics. I never read much on Electra

nor is my knowledge of Electra that huge, but

I think they changed it up a little bit for in

the show and I thought it was a great change.

Uh, she looks great. Uh, the costume looked cool.

The actress is great in the role. The romance

was kind of. Interesting kind of back -and -forth

weird a little bit. I thought yeah, I thought

it was good Chuck thoughts on a lecture. Oh Electra

was awesome. I really enjoyed her a lot That

accent was so sexy. But anyway Chuck had a me

moment. I did know I really enjoyed her character

a lot and particularly What I enjoyed about it

was the way she sort of pushes Matt in in a lot

of different ways, like, to do things that he

normally wouldn't do, you know? And it's great

how, like, this whole season is about, like,

the supporting characters making Daredevil better.

Like, it was really amazing how they were able

to do that. Like, Charlie Cox was great as it

was, but, you know, when you have his interaction

with the Punisher... actually with Electra it

just like completely rose to another level and

it is interesting because I've sort of had a

similar experience where I've had someone in

my life before that pushed me to do things I

normally wouldn't do and it it is really like

it's exciting you know and it's you sort of it

takes you to places you never thought you would

and you see him he obviously goes even a step

further and she wants him to kill this guy and

He's like, okay. Well, that's a little bit too

far. That's like more I already broke into this

house with you You know, we're already we're

already smashing these people's buying glasses

on the floor like but he definitely still sticks

to his guns and kind of refuses to kill this

guy and Unfortunately, that's the point in time

where you know electric kind of walks out and

they never see each other for What is it? 10

years or something? I think something like that.

But just like just their interaction in college.

And then she's back in his life. Ten years later,

she's back in his life, maybe like a couple of

days. And she's already starting to have that

effect on him again, like where he's doing things

that he normally wouldn't be doing. Like at first

he's, you know, at first he's very rigid and

he's like, no way. I don't even want to talk

to you. Get out of here. I'm not having any dealings

with you, but. you know after a little bit he

sort of starts really thinking about her and

like how she really is the only person that gets

me like he's thinking about his relationship

with Karen and it's like yeah she's a great girl

she's really nice she's a go -getter but I don't

think she gets what I'm doing the way Electra

does. And I think he starts wondering like, you

know, is this the only person for me? You know,

like the only person that'll understand my crusade,

because Foggy certainly doesn't. He's criticizing

him like every day about what he does. And I

just think he's looking for that approval in

his life and that satisfaction. And that's sort

of what attracts him to Electra so much. And

then just the Don't say the fun they have together

but the thrill because they're you know, obviously

they're going in the battle It's like this huge

like adrenaline high and everything and he that's

the only person that he gets those things from

So, you know, he struggled with those feelings

Really for the whole second half of the season

or the you know Most of the season actually,

but I thought that was extremely extremely interesting

To me and I I that was one of my favorite things

about this season Yeah, what I found interesting

too like considering you coming right off of

the story of you know more Matt Murdock or Daredevil

being in the moral moral high ground I came to

Dealing with you know Frank Cash on the Punisher

you see him and once Electric kind of shows up

that maybe you know that's not always the case

where it's a lot harder for him now He's actually

getting tested on all those things that he was

trying to pre no preach basically saying if he

can practice what he preaches and this electric

was a lot different than anything I can remember

in a way like she reminded me almost like like

Catwoman in a sense of she really straddles the

line of being evil, you know, being like, you

know, is she good? Is she bad? Like she's not

really either. Though I think my one issue with

her, maybe not necessarily with her, but I do

feel like there are times where the show just

didn't know where to put her. Like they didn't

know, like her storyline kind of, I don't know,

like it was a little bit back and forth where

like, okay, this is kind of where they're going

with it. And then, you know, they would... swerve

here and there like they would uh, you know,

she's Like for example like seeing sick trying

to kill her and I kind of saw the reason why

but it also seemed kind of odd that he waited

to when he did so I don't know but by the end

I I did really like the arc of her character

and Seeing having to make her the decisions I

think she did and then mostly like Chuck mentioned

the relationship between Matt and her and you

know the way they would kind of You know the

effect that she had on him was certainly impactful.

So that was kind of cool So I'm looking forward

to seeing where they go with that and I was I

was waiting for bullseye to show up after him

I'm thinking Oh, maybe yeah, maybe he will and

they kind of did that moment with with the at

the end So I guess they won't be exploring that

but you know was it I mean, I'm sure it's not

just me but to me it seems like Electron daredevil

had like a ton of on -screen on -screen chemistry

in this like like their relationship seemed like

very natural nothing seemed forced to me really

in any of the episodes like i i was very pleased

with uh with their chemistry for the most part

i could buy the reason why like you know matt

murdoch would kind of like uh be out of character

around her for sure maybe she has chemistry with

everyone who knows yeah the only thing and you

just mentioned it a little bit ago but The whole

thing was stick killing her. That was somewhat

confusing because like I'm like, all right. He

just had her like, you know, when she had that

sort of fatal wound. Yeah. Earlier on in the

season and like he mixed up that concoction to

like heal her. Like, why don't you just let her

die right there? Like, yeah, I'm not really sure

why he kind of waited to start taking her out

and start trying to kill her. But I don't know

if that was just trying to him. Get favor with

with mad or I don't know. Yeah, that's why I

was really confused by because it seemed like

why would you Why would you save her and then

that's again? That's kind of what it felt like

they didn't know exactly what they wanted to

do almost like they're like, okay Oh, no, actually,

let's do this. Like if that was the one moment

where it seems Yeah, I almost thought like if

I went back and watched it Maybe it would make

a little more sense But now that i'm not the

only one that thought that then I don't feel

so bad I do feel like I do need to go back and

rewatch it though because binge -watching is

great, but I do feel in a way You miss a lot

of the details I actually went back and watched

like the first two episodes over and there was

a lot of little things that I missed so I'm like,

oh wow, like I didn't even notice the whole thing

with the first episode at being like super hot

and like And like how that how important that

was. Oh, yeah that must have been a huge span

of time too because like later on in the season

they're talking about like I think it was Claire

when he was when she was talking to him on the

new rooftop and she was saying like oh, it's

freezing up here Yeah, and I'm like, wait a minute.

It's like a few episodes you were saying how

it's like this Record heatwaves like they must

have covered like a span of like six months and

six episodes or something Like it was crazy.

Yeah. Yeah, I that again like I I missed that

complete the first episode so the negative side

of binge watching I guess but now any anything

else you guys wanted to bring up regarding the

show? I think it pretty much pretty much touched

on everything that I wanted to. I'll just mention

again that fight choreography, absolutely amazing.

Oh my gosh, that is just, I continue to be impressed

every time I see that. And this was even to a

greater degree because there was more, the foe

was like. There were so many more of them, like

there's hand ninjas coming out of everywhere.

You see them running over this rooftop, you see

them running up this alley and you're like, okay,

there's like 12 of them. And then you're like,

holy shit, there's like 30 more of them coming

there. And it's just, and like the way they did

it, like, it was very impressive. Made sense

to me because like usually those kind of scenes.

I'm sitting back and watching and like why are

you attacking one by one like You know, but like

Like everyone just attack at once and you would

win but this this one was actually like they

kind of were and you see like the teamwork between

Daredevil and Elektra and they start like instead

of Fighting alone, which they've always been

used to their entire life they start like actually

working together and That was another sort of

underlying meaning there in that moment, but

I thought that was really well done, the final

fight scene. What I really loved about him fighting

the hand, and I did it just really wonderfully

in the first season, how he was using his powers

in that, and the sense of how he was using the

sound of their sword to begin with, to locate

them, because they're so quiet, and how they

learned that. Yeah, that was cool. So I thought

that was great and how he had to focus more and

he has so much more control I feel like he had

more control over his senses this season than

last which makes sense, right? He was picking

up like microwaves and I could be wrong like

I didn't know it went that deep with the senses

But I guess it it kind of makes sense I felt

like I felt like him and stick sort of grew closer

like in in season one They had like kind of a

rocky relationship or like Matt really didn't

want anything to do with him anymore And you

know in this one like you mentioned about that

part where they learned about him listening to

their swords and sticks sort of like whispering

and telling them what to do like listen to them

exhale and everything and He actually like tells

him he's proud of him and stuff and I was like,

wow, that's pretty substantial and and then you

like you fast forward a little bit to like the

very almost a very last scene in the last episode

where they're standing at the gravesite of Electra.

And one of the coolest lines in the whole season,

I think, when Stick tells Matt, he's like, you

know, you are the absolute toughest son of a

bitch I have ever met. And I was like, yes, that

like that really explains Daredevil, because

you just encounter so much shit and so much punishment,

but he just keeps going. It's crazy. Greg, do

you have a favorite action sequence from season

two? The stair fight scene where he's going down

the stairs where that was kind of all kind of

seamlessly kind of like in season one where they're

going down the hallway. This one was kind of

more stairs kind of a crap. What's the the kung

fu movie that Bruce Lee did or they're going

different levels. He kind of goes up the levels,

but Daredevil's kind of going down. Was it Enter

the Dragon? Yeah, I think it's something like

that, but I like how that kind of harkened back

to that and how that scene was done. I thought

that was really cool. What did you think about

his new toy there, the Billy Club with the rope

and the steel cable in there? I thought that

was really cool and I can't wait to see how they

use it more in the next season. Yeah, that was

a huge geek moment when I saw that I'm like I

Love how he like slowly builds like he's been

you know becoming daredevil more and more like

he gets a new suit Which I did think was a much

improvement over his first suit Do I still think

my favorite is just the all -black with with

like the head scarf as the mask? But but still

enjoyed the increase in there But yeah using

even use ability club in general a lot more the

season which is really cool. So I think my favorite

action sequence was actually, I think it was

episode four or two with the Punisher and him

kind of escaping, being captured with Daredevil.

And like, he's like kind of stopping the Punisher

from killing everybody while he's fighting. Like,

I thought that was pretty fun just to see him

like, no Punisher, don't shoot him, bad Punisher.

I'm trying to kick the crap out of all these

people, but I'm going to get the water bottle

out again. My my favorite sequence was for sure

the the final one on the rooftop. I think that

was really exciting for me. But I did want to

mention Melvin Potter real quick, too, because

he's making them the new toys and stuff. And

he's the he's a guy like he's become completely

supportive of Daredevil. And he's like totally

behind him 100 percent. And like he like I thought

that was a cool moment where he kind of, you

know, taps him on the shoulder and tells him

like, you know, Those of us that live in this

community, those of us that are from Hell's Kitchen,

we know who's really protecting us. And like,

I thought that was an awesome moment. And that

was something to sort of give some confidence

to Matt and everything. And like, I feel like

he finally sort of gets the approval that he's

looking for from people in his life. Like he

finally ends up getting it from like Melvin and

like Stick actually and Elektra and stuff. So

that was, that was pretty cool. That he ended

up getting that stuff. Yeah, I was surprised

at like how well sort of like almost all the

side characters were and Greg you mentioned earlier

with Karen Page, but I kind of love what they

did with her this season and especially with

a relationship with Frank Castle and like how

you know He she was able to kind of get to him

in ways. No one else could I don't know she felt

like So much more proactive than this rather

than like she was getting things done. She was

solving it She was so much her own character

like you can almost get entire TV series just

around her and all of her adventures. And what

I found interesting, too, is that in a way, with

Daredevil and Matt Murdock, he was kind of afraid

to express his secrets and kind of explain who

he was, because I think he thought that would

drive her away. Ironically... Frank Castle's

ability to kind of open up to her and who's doing

kind of the same thing. They ended up growing

closer to one another while Matt and her kind

of drifted apart. So I think he kind of goes

into that showing like how sometimes Matt Murdock's

preconceived notions can kind of get in his way

and how sometimes his inability to trust those

that clearly support him can cause more harm

than good. I did want to mention one thing. I

guess too sorry to keep rambling but uh You guys

talked talked about the court scene. I love the

fact that they did have more court scenes in

this I wish that there was almost the honestly

more especially with I wanted to see the Matt

Murdoch side of Daredevil a little bit more But

I did enjoy those interactions of seeing Frank

Castle on on trial I thought you know that was

kind of cool and never quite sure of is he this

chaotic did someone get to him and I Don't know.

I thought that was cool It was cool because it

also gave us a chance to sort of see Foggy Nelson

shine. You know, that was something where he

really took that slack up from Matt and he kind

of rose to the occasion. And then obviously see

him get the job offer from the. The firm from

Jessica Jones was pretty cool. Yeah. Yeah. Were

there any other Easter eggs? I know they had

a few Easter eggs here and there for for the

season, but I didn't really notice that many.

I even the ones I kind of I looked online and

I searched. I didn't see really any of note all

that much mention of Luke Cage by. Oh, yeah.

Oh, Claire. Yeah. Oh, there was, there was a

couple of things, which I didn't see it. I read

about off to go back and look, but I guess in

Melvin's workshop, they, there was a couple of

things like they had the, the saw blades that

he like has on his costume in the comics. I think

he picks up a saw blade or something that he

kind of tosses it on the bench. I didn't pick

up on that, but I did read about it. And then

there was, they said something about possibly

like seeing a part of a stilt man's costume in

the background again. Like that I miss that as

well. So yeah, I didn't pick up on that But that's

like you said binge watching is tough to see

everything. Yeah. Yeah, certainly certainly But

I seems like it's a pretty you know, we all seem

to enjoy a great deal So do you guys see the

trailer for or I guess teaser for Luke Cage the

series that came at the end? Yeah. Yeah, that

was pretty cool. I did not see that It's like,

I don't know, 15, 30 seconds. It's just like

one little scene. But I was waiting for the end

credits sequence to happen. Nothing did. But

then this trailer pops up. I'm like, oh wait,

what's this going on? And it's just a little

thing for Luke Cage, which I'm looking forward

to. I don't know if it'll be nearly as good as

Daredevil, but I think it could be fun. So I'm

hearing things about Daredevil season three now,

which I never thought they were going that far,

to be honest. Don't know because they originally

was only supposed to be one season but it did

really well So in the way things play out here

makes me think that it will be more I'm not sure

to be honest with you I really don't know what

they're doing and they just recently announced

that they'll be doing a cloak and dagger series.

So Yeah, that that was just announced a few days

ago. So I don't know if that's coming after the

defenders or what's going on So though I got

tricked the one I was like a couple months ago

It was an article and it was like all these different

series that they were gonna do like spiderman

2099 and a Punisher series Like oh, what is this?

And then I looked at it and then I went through

it more and realized it was an equal fools article

from like four years ago I'm like, that's that's

annoying That's a gift that keeps on giving.

It's like four years old. Yeah, because it wasn't

even April Fools when I did it. And I was like,

oh, I didn't check the date. That was my own

stupid fault. But what are you going to do? Alright,

well, we'd like to hear what you thought of Daredevil.

But that'll be it for this week. We'll be back

next week, same time, same channel, same podcast

feed, but for now. This has been Chuck. This

has been Greg, or Daredevil. And this has been

Dan, and we've been talking in circles. We'll

see you next week. I was really expecting some

sort of comment towards Electra. I thought of

it for about a second, and I'm like, let's go

with the unexpected. I did not see that coming.

You get it? That's because Greg was holding his

sword very still. I think your Chuck might do

it, because he's totally into her. I thought

of it, but I was like, I've already made it out

here to comment, so... Everyone gets one. Thanks,

Spider -Man. Thanks, Spider -Man.
