You're listening to Legends of the Dark Knight,

only on the Geekcast Radio Network. This episode

of Legends of the Dark Knight features Steve,

Mike and Tara. Hello and welcome to Legends of

the Dark Knight I'm your host Steve Megatron

Phillips and joining me in this trip into Gotham

City are my dynamic duo Tf2 and Mike and Tara

the rising star aka Batgirl Hello guys, what's

up? Yes, sorry for the delay in the episode just

multiple things came up so We decided to postpone

it till we could give a quality episode. Yes.

Quality is good. Well, not to get too far behind

the scenes, it took Steve a while to get episode

11 edited and aired. By the time that happened,

he was getting ready to go on vacation. So we

were like, yeah, we'll just wait till you get

back. And welcome back, Steve. Thank you. Went

to Florida. It was great. Went to Disney. Awesome.

I'm jealous. Just have to say that. I'm jealous.

It was my first time going. My wife, on the other

hand, has been there up to a million times. Yeah.

I actually went to Disney World for the first

time when I was 17. It's kind of sad. I went,

I think my entire lifetime I've been six times.

I went in 83, 86, twice in 95, and I think there

was a time in 96 as well, so. I wish I had gone

when I was little. Yeah. Even back then, I was

lazy as hell. I didn't want to walk everywhere.

So yeah, we are we are here. We are back. Very

awesome. So anything else? Nope. With that, let's

get this episode started with. Hell yeah. Is

he kidding? Maybe he's new in town. Can you go

any faster? I'm flooring it now! like Earl's

got his work cut out for him. First up is the

mechanic. Batman and Robin are pursuing the Penguin's

thugs, Eagleton, Falcone, and Sheldrake. In their

getaway vehicle after Falcone sees the bullets

bounce harmlessly off the Batmobile's arm roll,

Eagleton takes drastic action to escape, jumping

the car off the end of a dividing bridge to crash

into the bed of a garbage scow passing underneath.

Batman breaks to a stop, but not soon enough

to prevent the front end of the Batmobile going

under the bridge and being crushed as it comes

back down. For a Penguin episode, this was okay,

I guess. To me, it was kind of reminiscent of

Batman Returns. You know what, I thought it was,

like you said, I think it was an okay episode.

I don't think it was Penguin's best episode,

to be honest. It could have been done a lot better.

Well, what I like about it has nothing to do

with the villain plot in the episode. It has

nothing to do with Penguin at all. What I like

about the episode is that it shows that Batman,

not Bruce, but Batman... enlists the help of

people to create his get like it's not just him

like okay Tony Stark don't need any damn help

Tony Stark's a friggin genius Batman is a genius

as well but you know he doesn't always have time

to construct new vehicles so I like the fact

that they brought in the Earl character to be

the the mechanic of the Batmobile Get that Star

Trek out of my Batman dammit. What the hell is

Q doing in this episode? Har har John Delancey

is the voice of Eagleton Use some of that omnipotent

ability to damage the Batmobile beyond yes I'll

be honest. I kind of skimmed this episode the

first time I watched it because it didn't really

appeal that much to me I'll be honest. It just

it for me. It didn't didn't keep me interested

I think it could have been a lot better. It had

some interesting parts in it I guess like the

chase scenes and stuff like that, but other than

that Mmm, not not good This isn't the worst episode.

It isn't It's somewhere in the middle But again,

I mean... We've discussed the worst. Yeah, yeah,

we really have. You know. But the thing is, is

that... I've never really seen, outside of being

comical, I've never seen the Penguin as a true

threat to Batman. He's more than a... um... itch.

Yeah. More so than anything else. I mean, yeah.

Essentially... In this series, specifically,

you have Rupert Thorne, you had Stromwell, the

regular, like, gangster bosses. You know what

I mean? That one's pretty much a gangster boss.

Essentially, yes. And that's not that great.

And, you know, what did you think of the episode,

Steve? Well, I love the fact that they finally

show the origin of the Batmobile and being that

this is my favorite Batmobile out of all the

animated series that have aired. I really liked

that, how they showed all this, you know, especially

with the, you know, basically underground corporation

that Bruce set up for Earl to create this Batmobile

with his old, old Batmobile. And I love the license

plate. Gotham one bet for you the dirt the dark

deco state Which it kind of It was funny how

penguin managed to take control by finding out

through all these hidden corporations just the

bit with the Batmobile, how it was manufactured,

where it was repaired, all that information.

And I think it was cool how Earl inadvertently

gave Batman the tools in a riddle to tell him

that, hey, your Batmobile's kind of screwed.

Not by my design, and then he gets to work on

a new Batmobile. Think that that's getting up

to the point where they they you know, the new

Adventures where they have the new batmobile,

but i'm pretty sure that right now it's gonna

be like another rehash of the same batmobile

Just because of production inconsistencies Yeah,

but I really like this this episode just for

the fact that it you know shows that hey batman

can be hurt in some ways You mentioned production

inconsistencies and I want to remind the listeners

that If anyone has the Batman volume one to four

individual season DVD sets or if you have the

Batman complete animated series big box set we

are watching these and Reviewing these in the

order that they air on the DVDs. We're not doing

it in production order so there will be a bunch

of production inconsistencies from us because

as far as you know notes and continuity bits

that happen in the series because We're reviewing

them as we watch them from the DVDs So that was

the simplest way when I originally you know when

Steve and I originally put the schedule together

in my mind That was the simplest way. Okay. Well

if someone has the DVDs, let's review them in

that order So that way people can follow along

on their DVD as they're listening to the podcast

Yes, what kind of trivia bits do we have for

the mechanic? Well, the idea of Penguin taking

control of the Batmobile was derived from the

movie Batman Returns, which that's why I felt

that way when watching it. I didn't even read

this. This marks the only time on screen both

Batman and Robin have an independent episode

with Penguin. The license plate Penguin Rips

in Half refers to Gotham, the dark deco state.

Dark deco was the term used by production crew

to describe the show's art deco style. For Earl,

Batman conceals his true identity by maintaining

that his personal resources come from a group

of unseen backers, rather than Wayne Enterprises.

Earl apparently has no idea of who Batman really

is. Now, next time when we do episode 13, there

is a continuity bit here for this episode. In

the Demon's Quest, which we'll be talking about

next time around in episode 13 of the podcast,

Rachel Gould reveals that he was able to trace

Batman's secret identity through ordering of

specialized equipment in the same manner as Arnold

Rundle does. You know, I don't understand why

the criminals... I mean, I know Joker would never

do that because Joker needs Batman, but... People

like Rupert Thorne, people like Two -Face. I

don't understand why they haven't done that to

this point. If they really want to know who Batman

is, every vehicle has base essential parts, especially

if you're making a custom vehicle. Custom parts

are very easy to track. Oh yeah. The other continuity

bit in here is the flashback. One of the sketches

on Earl's office wall resembles the... the appearance

of the revamped Batmobile in the new Batman Adventures

and Justice League. Which I didn't catch. I didn't

catch it either. I will say, specifically to

Justice League, I did not mind the revamped Batmobile

at all. And I honestly don't mind when we get

to the revamp episodes. I like some of the designs

on the revamps. Not necessarily the Batmobile

because I enjoy this one and I don't think there's

been a single Batwing that I've loved since this

one in the DCAU. I mean they're all cool and

great but they're not as grandiose as the current

one is. That's all I got. So with that, we'll

be moving on. tonight that makes you glad to

be alive. Right, Harley girl? Someone put a hill

there! I tried, but... Never mind! Just hand

me the gun! Up next, we have Harley and Ivy.

As the title suggests, it depicts the first acquaintance

of Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy who team up and

embark on what else but a crime spree. So this

episode marks the first appearance of seeing

Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy team up and commit

their crimes. And as a huge Harley Quinn and

Ivy fan, this episode just had so much goodness

in it from seeing Harley split from Joker. and

teaming up with Ivy. It was an awesome episode

and it was really well done. And I think we talked

about this a few times throughout this podcast.

And throughout the podcast we said when we've

had separate episodes, we've had separate Harley

episodes and separate Ivy episodes, that they

didn't work so well. But now when you have them

together, it works a lot better. So I loved this

episode and it was awesome. What did you think,

Mike? Well, you know, Harley and Ivy, they are

characters that work well together, but they

need someone to make them... Harley specifically

more than Ivy. Harley needs, you know, a foil

for herself because she has some good comedic

bits on her own throughout the entire DCAU, but,

you know, you need that... That harley joker

thing or harley ivy thing. I liked it the only

thing I as far as like a style thing that I really

can't stand about poison ivy before the revamps

is I'm looking at a picture on the wiki of her

not her not harley She's got the green suit the

tan skin and the orange hair I'm sorry. That

is just ugly. I agree with that their hair should

not be orange why is it orange could they not

find red apparently not because the lipstick

is also orange that's that's a little weird i've

never i've i cosplay and i've never seen that

version cosplayed ever yeah never with orange

hair it's always been red that's just weird what

about you steve what do you think of this one

um i i'm not really a fan of ivy Just to say

the least, I'm fine. I can see why they had Harley

in it because she's kind of able to play off

of both the Joker and Ivy pretty well. Right.

She just kind of doesn't really work all that

by herself unless you're talking the Arkham games.

Yeah. Which I won't get into here. Yeah, oh like

overall my thoughts on it are it's just it's

kind of a fine, you know one shot Yeah, it was

through, you know run through the town causing

havoc without You know the Joker in it but I'm

Ultimately I could do without it Mean it's a

nice foil It's a nice change of pace, you know,

hey, you know Joker was fed up or Harley was

fed up with him or something. I forget the overall

context of why she left She just had enough Yeah,

I've done so many episodes with you. Let me go

on my own for once. Yeah. Yeah, and I like the

team of a Harley and Ivy because it'll come into

play later in the revamp episodes like with girls

night out but It's a constant thing throughout

the series after this not constant constant But

it's a recurring thing as far as they team up

more than just this one time And I think the

reason why I like the other ones better is because

of Ivy's revamp design I enjoy that a heck of

a lot better than orange hair. She looks better

She got red hair and red lipstick and she's all

white and wearing black and that looks so much

better than green and orange Alright, shall we

go into some production inconsistencies in the

trivia? Alright, so first of all in the production

inconsistencies Robert Contonazzo, sorry if I

pronounced that wrong, who voices Joker Stug

Rocko Sorry, says he voices Joker Stug Rocko,

but he's actually credited for playing Harvey

Bullock, his usual role. The name of the diamond

that Harley steals is misspelled on its casing.

It reads Harlow Wynn instead of the more likely

Harlequin. When Harley lands on the museum floor,

she wets her finger and holds it up to test the

wind. However, she is still wearing her glove,

and so this wouldn't work. When Harley drags

Ivy out of the museum, Ivy's face is missing

in several frames. We need to go back and look

at that. In the commentary, it's pointed out

in one scene, Batman is typing on a surface that

has no keyboard. In this scene where Batman is

fighting the Joker's thugs at Poison Ivy's hideout,

the girl's car pulls out of the driveway. In

the next frame, Harley and Ivy are gone, but

the car is still there. Okay then. And next up,

some trivia. The friendship between Harley and

Ivy proved to be a popular addition to the animated

continuity and was also adapted into the comics

continuity. The scene where Ivy reveals her car

is a tribute to a similar scene from Tim Burton's

Batman in 1989. Classic movie references include

the plate of Ivy's car, Rosebud, as a reference

to Citizen Kane. Ivy's tribute to the closing

line of closing line of Casablanca. When the

girls throw Batman into the pond he is shown

to open his mouth underwater. Considering the

circumstances this is an extremely unwise thing

to do and would mean loss of control quite uncharacteristic

of Batman. The one thing that's really interesting

about this episode, and they do this throughout

the entire DCAU, here and there, the producers

and production people will be in episodes or

voice, you know, Bruce Timm has been known to

voice a Joker's gang member and stuff like that.

The frat boys in the car are based off of Bruce

Timm, Ted Blackman and Eric Radomski. That's

right, yeah. I thought that was really awesome.

I thought that was kind of cool. It is pretty

cool. Overall, I like this episode. It's I could

watch it again, but it's not what it's not like,

you know stuff like oh God moon of the wolf.

I will never watch that episode ever again that

episode sucks But this is one I could you know

Watch again if it was on or if I had a hankering

to to watch the two of them together I could

watch it again Yeah, I agree. I love this episode

and I definitely have watched it a bunch of times

and it was enjoyable and probably like we've

said It's not the best episode between these

two Mainly, of course because we were talking

about the character design the orange hair the

green outfit doesn't work But it was well done

for when it first came out Yeah, I can agree

with Mike's statement here that yeah, it's not

the worst ever I could sit and watch this again

However, it's, well, ultimately it's not as bad

as that Moon and the Wolf and all those. So yeah,

I could sit and watch this again, but it's not

one of my favorites, but I could sit through

it again. Anything else, guys? That's it. All

right, that's it. We'll be back with the next

episode. This place gives me the willies. No

kidding, why do we gotta do this stuff in the

middle of a flippin' night? Maybe you'd prefer

moving contraband in broad daylight, and the

cops might notice. Geez, boss, you shouldn't

sneak up on guys like that. Just get this stuff

loaded. I never liked this place. This is the

police. We have you surrounded. Come out with

your hands up! I can't be seen here. Hold them

off! Rupert Thawne without a fight? You! If I

gotta go down, I'm taking you with me! Up next

is Shadow of the Bat, which is the two -part

second season premiere of Bat... wait a second

oh yeah that's right because we're doing them

out of the production or tip uh it originally

aired on sips son of a bitch it just i'm i'm

moving this down damn it i don't ever read that

shit shut up next up is shadow of the bat rupert

thord is supervising in loading at a warehouse

late at night they are interrupted by a squad

of GPD officers led personally by Commissioner

Gordon and Deputy Commissioner Gil Mason. Thorne

tries to run but is caught on the roof by Batman.

The news reports that Thorne makes the third

Gotham City mob boss who has been apprehended

thanks to information supplied by Mason supposedly

from a secret informant Bruce Wayne is suspicious

however. Now this is the first appearance of

Batgirl. costume in the series Barbara Gordon

has helped out on two previous occasions but

this is the first time that we see her actually

suit up I love this two -parter this is just

awesome I have to agree it it's it's an awesome

episode it's actually one of my favorite episodes

Just because you got Barbara Gordon and you got

that girl who I absolutely adore And it's great

because you get to see you get to see her like

her origin her origin story kind of here and

it just it was so well written so well done had

so many great scenes in it and Just and also

seeing kind of the evolution of her costume from

the beginning where people think that she you

know that she's you know copying the Batman Yeah,

and then they're like, oh, it's a woman and Robin's

kind of like, you know I love how Robin at first

is like, you can't do this, what are you doing?

You're just a girl. Yeah, you're a girl. What

do you know? And she basically like, you know,

saves her dad. Yeah. And she saves the city and

she kind of proves, you know, girls can kick

ass. They're not just badass villains like Harley

Quinn and Poison Ivy, but they can kick bad guys'

ass anytime. So this was an awesome two -parter

and definitely one for the record books. What

do you think, Steve? I think that It was for

one very notable and memorable for the fact that

Batgirl debuted I did like how they showed the

evolution because It was quite entertaining to

see a more Batman ish costume to start out and

then she kind of tailored it later on It just

the the overall episode was pretty Pretty in

-depth and I liked how the dynamic duo kinda

had to come to grips with, hey, there's another

crime fighter on the team here that's, you know,

even though Batman pretty much, I'm guessing,

knows who it is to some extent. He doesn't really

reveal that in any way right away. We won't find

that out if he does or if he doesn't until much

later. Oh yeah, but it was funny to see Dick

Grayson. getting his ass handed to him. There's

only really one trivia bit in this one, and it

has nothing to do with Batgirl. Two -Face is

the only supervillain to appear in more than

one two -parter episode in the series. He appears

in two. It's such a twisted... It's the two gimmick.

That's his thing. Barbara, as I said before,

Barbara had first appeared earlier. She appeared

in I Am the Knight. and first dated Batman in

Heart of Steel but did not adopt the costume

until now. Whoopi, Barbara's cherished teddy

bear, reappears from Heart of Steel. Although

Barbara Gordon and Dick Grayson are shown dating

in later episodes, he does not become aware of

her secret identity until the new Batman Adventures.

Mason either never awakes from his coma or lost

his memory because when he awakes up his first

act would likely be to expose Barbara. Janet

van Doorn returns in trial where she is a bigger

and more significant role. Like I said, overall,

I really like this two -porter. I like it for

introducing Bakker. I like how they introduce

her, where her first costume is essentially the

Dark Knight costume, as far as what he wears

in the series, because she's trying to lure him

out to help Commissioner Gordon, because Commissioner

Gordon is falsely accused of of wrongdoing. So

I like that. I like how she changes the costume

and then obviously after all, you know, the revamps.

I prefer the revamp suit, but overall this episode

was really, really good. This is one I most definitely

will watch again. Same here. One thing we do

have to talk about before we move on is in this

episode Barbara Gordon slash Batgirl up to this

point and I think through here and through at

least through Mask of the Phantasm through one

of the movies it's Melissa Gilbert doing the

voice I think Sub -Zero is Mary Kay Bergman and

then Tara Strong takes over in the the new adventures

I like Melissa Gilbert's version. It's good.

She knows how to portray Barbara. She knows what

the character is about and she knows how to portray

the Batgirl persona. But my favorite voice for

Batgirl is Tara Strong's version. I have to agree

with that. I was just going to say that. You

know, because in the beginning, it's not Tara

Strong. I think it's... I'm not sure... I forget

who the voice actor is at first. No, I just said

it, Melissa Gilbert. Oh, Melissa Gilbert. Yeah,

Melissa Gilbert did a fantastic job, but I have

to agree, Tara Strong is Batgirl. You can't compare

to that. I mean, she just does a fantastic job

as Batgirl, and she brings the character to life.

Not that Melissa Gilbert didn't, but there's

no really comparison. You know, the two different

variations of the Batgirl character in the animated

series. Yeah, I'm just reading through the quotes.

Steve is one that usually likes to do the quotes,

but I just read this and it just made me laugh.

Commissioner Gordon goes, that's a first, a coin

flips two -face. Wow. That's funny. So I guess

we can move on. Three features make Wayne Tech's

new Raven X -111 stealth helicopter unique among

military aircraft. The first is her silent running

capability. Making the Raven ideal for reconnaissance

and covert operations. Another is her state -of

-the -art cloaking device. This renders her invisible

to all normal forms of radar and sonar detection.

Last, but certainly not least, there is her extraordinary

ZVF sensor system. ZVF, as I'm sure you've heard,

stands for Zero Visibility Flight. With this

new technology, feedback from the aircraft's

radar and sonar is translated not into blips

on a tracking grid, but rather into computer

-generated images on a video display terminal.

But should you think the Raven X -111 has only

defensive capabilities, think again. Looks like

it's going even better than we hoped. Wouldn't

you say mr. Wayne? I guess doctor though. I still

have serious misgivings about building weapons

systems Looks like the helicopter crew. But if

you guys are here, then who's flying the chopper?

Look at them. Taking off like scared pigeons.

You find pigeons funny, my friend? No, boss.

Not me. Good. You'll do well to remember that.

Attention! Attention! This is the Penguin speaking.

I have taken control of your precious raven,

and intend to be paid handsomely for its return.

I will contact the mayor's office with the instructions

for delivery of the ransom. As of this moment,

the most dangerous bird in the sky is the penguin!

Master Bruce! Oh, Malfred. Now! But sir, you

need medical attention. No! I don't want the

Wayne Tech doctors examining me. Call Leslie.

Have her meet us at the house. Begging your pardon,

sir, but why so secretive? Because I don't want

anyone to find out that I can't see. Last up

today is Blind as a Bat. Bruce Wayne is present

at a demonstration of Wayne Tech's prototype

military helicopter, the Raven X1 -11. The attending

brass are suitably impressed by its capabilities,

which includes silent running, a cloaking device

making it invisible to radar and sonar, and its

revolutionary sensor package. But as soon as

the demonstration is completed the helicopter

runs amok. Opening fire on the stands as people

flee inside the hangar. They find the real aircrew

gagged and bound Wow, we start this episode with

a penguin and we ended with the penguin Yes,

that wasn't planned at all. No, not at all. I

I really like this episode. I know a couple of

my other friends that I do podcasts with One

of them who has very jaded opinions of animation

Said that blind as a bat wasn't that good of

an episode. I think it is because It takes Batman

out of his element It takes one of his senses

away from him and he has to rely on the other

four senses or he has to rely on this Zvf or

zve or zvf or whatever the free the stupid things

called the the zvf technology And it was just

a very different way of portraying Batman. Yeah,

I definitely liked it. It was almost like a Daredevil

type thing going on. Oh, yeah. And Batman did

not cope with it at all. No. Especially when

the device failed. Yeah. But it was kind of cool

seeing Batman with red eyes for a little bit

there. Red and gray, because when the system

crashes, it goes to gray eyes. Yeah. It was definitely

weird seeing him get his rear handed to him until,

of course, the very end. Yeah, I mean, this episode,

when I first saw it, it was pretty shocking.

I mean, that scene where Bruce Wayne realizes,

like, oh my God, I'm blind. You know, now I really

am, you know, Batman blind as a bat. I can't

see shit. I just feel you feel for him. I think

this episode because he has no he's like no vision

and Like you guys are talking about the goggles

that were invented Yeah to help him see kind

of I guess kind of like the outlines right the

outline of things not really not really full

shapes and when that scene where He loses power

in those goggles and he's in a plane. Oh my god

You really get scared there Because you're like,

holy shit, now what's he going to do? And it

was just so well done. And like I said before,

we started recording. I don't think this episode

won any awards, but it really should have, just

for the way it was written. It was really well

done. And kudos to the writers and just everyone

who was involved in this episode, especially

Kevin Conroy just for doing that role. I mean,

to be Batman and have your vision impaired. I

mean, my god. I think it was good because it

also showed that people in the real world who

are blind, it shows that, you know, they can

still fight crime. I think it may have even given

some help to people who are living with being

legally blind. And I think that was the good

thing about that episode is that it really showed

that despite being blind, Batman wasn't gonna

go, you know, crawl under a rock. He was still

gonna go out there and do what he had to do and

that's what I really admired about this episode

is that Despite that he still went out there

and fulfilled his duty and that's just what made

the episode for me And I think I think maybe

you guys maybe saw that as well. Oh Yeah, yeah,

like you feel it you feel it. It really touches

you Mean there are only so many times and so

many of these many because that's what the production

team called them There's so many of these many

movies or episodes each week or each, you know

each time that you can do You know just Batman

going after the mob Batman going after two -faced

Batman going after mr. Freeze Batman doing there's

so many, you know Things that you can do that

remain the same and what I liked about this episode

the best is that it it was something completely

different even though it's a penguin episode

and Whatever what I find funny is Eagleton is

back. So there's not only do we start and end

with penguin We also start and end with Q Huh,

yeah Fantastic episode. Yeah And I have to say

this because it's because of the episode and

the first thing that I flashed to was Batman

Forever. Wait, I have a riddle for you. For me?

Really? Tell me. I see without seeing. To me,

darkness is as clear as daylight. What am I?

Please, you're as blind as a bat! That's hilarious,

yeah. Overall, I love Blind as a Bat. It was

a really unique and interesting way to have Batman

doing something outside of his element. Excellent,

yes. So, with that, we'll be back after this

commercial break. Legends of the Dark Knight

will be back after this. Hey, I'm Gary. I'm Mike.

to Legends of the Dark Knight. So, out of all

the episodes, which ones were your guys' favorites

tonight? Go ahead, Tara. Alright, well first

of all, I'm gonna say number one has to go to

Harley and Ivy. Number two goes to Shadow of

the Bat. Number three goes to blind is about

and finally I have to put the mechanic mechanic

goes last But those are my top three just because

of what I said earlier. They were just they were

just awesome, and I really enjoyed watching them

and Definitely go rewatch them if you haven't

watched these episodes in a few years go back

and watch them You won't be disappointed. How

about you Steve? My particular favorites, I'd

have to say it's I'd have to say probably Hmm

Well, it's kind of tough because they're each

one has their own good Remark to them I'll probably

put Probably blind is bad as number one just

for the fact that like you guys said Batman's

out of his element And you just kind of have

to see him cope with that it shows him kind of

vulnerable unlike his other episodes. After that,

I'd probably put the mechanic only because I

love the Batmobile. Right. It has nothing to

do with Penguin because I really don't care for

him. And he's pretty weak of a villain, like

we stated before. I'd put Shadow of a Bat because

of Batgirl, and then Harley and Ivy because I'm

just not a fan of Ivy, but... Yeah, ultimately,

they're all they're all pretty good in their

own way, but that's just how I would rank them

The entire batch this week that they there there

are no episodes in here that I would say that

I would never ever watch again There's no episodes

that I would say in this batch that I would be

like I would rather Be forced to watch Ren and

Stimpy than watch one of these episodes like

some of the other some of the other bad episodes

We've we've reviewed for me it goes to blind

as a bat for number one, you know, as we already

stated. And the thing about that episode is if

you think about it, it's something we didn't

bring up in the actual discussion. After the

little explorer, not little, but after the explosion

and Bruce gets injured, he's like, Alfred, take

me home. But sir, the doctors, you know, the

Wayne Tech doctors cannot see me. What? Why so

secretive, sir? Because. I'm blind. And just

the way that Kevin delivered that line was just

so emotionally scarring for Bruce Wayne, I think.

And the greatest thing about Blind as a Bat is

it's a whole Batman episode after that scene.

You do not, like, you don't see Bruce Wayne out

in the public or anything like that after that

until, until obviously his vision comes back.

So Blind as a Bat goes first. Shadow of the Bat

goes next, because I love the introduction of

Batgirl. And then the mechanic because of the

Batmobile and Harley and Ivy. I liked the Harley

and Ivy episode. I just... I just don't like

the designs. That's the only reason why it goes

last this time, because the designs on Ivy suck

in that episode. I know. We're gonna keep talking

about that, aren't we? Until she gets a revamp,

right? Until she gets her makeover and then we

say, ooh, we look all pretty now. Pretty old

by now. So, anything else? That's it. That's

it for me. Oh wait, we should mention this, because

this will actually happen between episode 12

and episode 13. We got Robin coming up. I kind

of mentioned it a few weeks ago, but we've had

technical difficulties and scheduling difficulties.

But we are finally going, Steve and I are going

to be talking with Kevin Conroy in the next couple

of weeks. So very, very awesome. The only other

one we need now is the Joker. Damn it. Mark Hamill.

And then, of course, Batman Beyond. Well, yeah,

but as far as this side of the series. This side

of Gotham City before it goes Neil Gotham. Yes,

yes. So. Thank you for joining us for Legends
