Year 3 will be even more expansive! We’ll even be getting to reviews that I had meant to do in 2014!!! I think right now what I’m most excited to read and review here in 2015 is Zenescope’s Robyn Hood Series of comics. It’s something I found out about recently, and I’m dying to read them. So below you will see imags and little blurbs about the titles that will be covered throughout 2015 here inside The Pull Bag. I’m not going to reveal everything, but here’s a taste of things to come!
Tomb Raider
I had meant to get to this series in 2014, but it just didn’t happen. Jeremy Fein will be joining me for this. We released it January 7, 2015. You can listen HERE!
Sex Criminals Volume 2: Two Worlds One Cop
You damn right Jeremy Fein and I will be continuing our coverage of this series!!!!! It’s just so awesome!!!!
C.O.W.L.
Dane Lamont from Punisher Body Count and Dane and Jake Get Classy will be joining me once again for the C.O.W.L. coverage!!!
Rocket Raccoon
IT’S REAL!!!!!! Yup you guessed it, we’ll be covering Rocket Raccoon Volume 1 soonish! After seeing GOTG Rocket and Groot are my fav characters. So I can’t wait to delve into this!
Coffin Hill
Coffin Hill was another series I had really wanted to get to last year, but sadly I just couldn’t. However it’ll be covered this year!!!!
Chew
JT and I will be covering the trades for Chew as the year goes along!!! Next up are Volumes 3 and 4!!! To clarify Vol 3-4 will be one podcast just like we did Volumes 1-2, which you can listen to by clicking HERE!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!!
TMNT – Ghostbusters crossover of course will be covered by Joe Reed and I. Along with the start of this year’s TMNT coverage in Attack on Technodrome!!!!!
The final release of 2014 was TPB Back Issue Classics – Image Comics #1’s Bitch Planet, The Fade Out, and Rasputin. I’m not sure if we’ll be covering Bitch Planet again, but The Fade Out is something I want to explore a bit more!!
As 2015 has begun, I’ve found that there is wayyy more comics I want to discuss on the podcast than I originally thought. I’m very proud of where The Pull Bag is today, and Year 3 will be even bigger! We’ll have more Origins and After Dark episodes. Plus a few new topics here and there! We’ll even have newly designed art from Steve Megatron, and we are adding a segment called “Profiling Previews” This new type of episode will be in line with the likes of Origins and After Darks. Myself and maybe one or two other co hosts will pick out the titles releasing in that month we want to highlight, and give you the listeners insight on what we think is worth buying from Publishers. So if titles are out in January that’s what we’d be talking about. Year 3 will get even more expansive that I thought. There are sooo many cool creator owned comics out there. And there are so many original creative ideas happening. THE PULL BAG ISN’T JUST DC COMICS COVERAGE ANYMORE….. We are going to expand as far as the comic reader’s ears can hear!
