This episode of “Roll To The Rescue Bots” has taken a while to complete. We have done lots of new stuff though! To start with, we filmed outside for the first time. The scene doesn’t last long, as we were attacked by a flobster. Once that’s over with, our first voice actor promo chimes in. I recently interviewed Steve Blum, and he was nice enough to record some bits for us.
Aiden and I then pick up inside where we left off, reviewing the Rescue Bots episode “Flobsters on Parade”. This was a fun one that sets the tone for the light-hearted adventures that the Autobots will be undertaking in this series. Lobsters start to fly (and then become organized and aggressive), and it’s up to the Rescue Bots to bring them back down to earth. With balloons and poison.
I named a previously un-named character. The guy with the lobster bib that caused the flying lobster crisis will hereby be known as “Hungry Bob”. In the live-action movie version of Flobsters, he will be played by Kevin Smith, only not so silent. In an unrelated note, Kevin Smith didn’t tell me that “Lobster Wars” isn’t actually about lobsters, just guys in boats. So, no clips from that show!
In closing, I’d like to again ask for feedback on the show. Talk to us! We’re constantly trying to improve. For instance, next time we record, I’ll be fixing the auto-focus so that it doesn’t reset into the foreground every five minutes. See, we’re getting better! And we love to hear from people associated with the show. We thanked Imari Williams, the voice of Boulder, for his interest this time around. Thanks for watching, everyone, and see you next time!
