About this Episode

Dave Joe and Michael Wilson dive into the latest Transformers toy news, covering Generations and War for Cybertron releases including Warpath, Wheeljack, Perceptor, Ratchet, and Soundwave. They discuss the differences between US and Japanese (United) versions, the state of retail toy availability, and the appeal of third-party collectibles. The conversation also touches on Transformers Prime's recent Wheeljack episode and the challenges of collecting with limited retail stock and high online prices.

Cliffjumper, commence countdown! Five, four,

three... Hello and welcome to an all toy news

toy cast. This is another one of our toy cast

specials. Seeing as how I've got so much other

crap going on, I have no real time or energy

to do episode 85 anytime soon. I am your host

Dave Joe and Mike and returning from the shallow

grave in his own backyard is Michael Wilson.

I still function. Hey, how's it going? That's

funny. It's gone. How you been? Hanging in there.

Are your kids in college yet? Almost. Almost.

Yeah, they're growing. It's amazing. I just always

want them to be this age. It's never happened.

I know, but they're so cute right now. Yes, yes.

So yeah, we are going to... One of the reasons,

besides bringing Michael back, one of the reasons

why I'm doing this all toy news episode of Toycast

is because Steve and Kevin really don't have

any interest. I mean, Kevin has interest in some

of the toys, but Steve really has no interest

in the toys, so I'm taking the toy news from

all things Transformers. That way we can focus

more on... the movie stuff, the Transformers

Prime stuff, and other discussion topics that

Steve might have over there on all things Transformers.

I love toys. Yes. Even though you haven't bought

any in like six months. I've really been laying

off lately. Just haven't seen a whole lot that

has really caught my eye with the exception of

Power Core combiners. Maybe some of the generation

stuff has come out. It's been like, I just went

to Walmart the other day and it was sad. Of course

Walmart in general is sad, but that's a whole

other podcast, but it was just sad. I went to

the toy aisle. There was War for Cybertron, Bumblebee,

Optimus, and Darkmount. There was old deluxe

mud flaps and nothing else. Wow. Nothing. As

far as like the deluxe toys, there was nothing

new. The shelf was almost empty for Gray's sake.

Where's my jazz? Where's tracks? I haven't seen

them. I want those, you know? I want a retgar.

I want a perceptor. I haven't seen them. I don't

know where they're at. You know, I might have

to fall back on entertainment earth or something.

Big bad toy store. I don't know. I'm partial

to Adam Paulus, to be honest. I don't know. So

what out of the toy news here, as far as latest

listings, what's catching your eye that you'd

like to talk about? We've got the Generations,

Minicon and Scout repaints, Warpath, Wheeljack,

Perceptor. Blur, what do you think of that warpath?

He's okay Yeah, he's okay, I I like him But you

know, I I can't help but compare him to the little

legends class warpath that came out not too long

ago and and this guy he's a you know, the new

one that from the pictures that I've seen he's

A deeper red, a darker red, which to me is more

war -pathy, right? Yeah. But other than that,

he looks very much the same. It looks like he's

got a little more articulation in the shoulders

and the elbows and such, but, you know, I'm not

sure why they would release, you know, a deluxe

class toy that is almost the exact same thing

as an existing Legends class. I mean, as opposed

to trying to... go back to the G1 roots, you

know, and give him a solid, you know, solid treads.

Because right now he's got four treads. Yeah.

Which, you know, was a criticism of the Legends

class figure that came out. He had four treads,

you know, it's a bit of a, a bit of a cheat,

you know? Yeah. Wasn't there a rumor that he

was, and I'm assuming this was just a rumor,

but wasn't there a rumor that he was supposed

to have electronics with BAM POW! That's probably

just a rumor, because I don't think they do that

with a deluxe class figure. I like it that on

the side it actually says Zowie. Oh, that's what

it was. I think that's what it was. It was the

writing that he had on him. It says ZDW -333.

And if you kind of look at it cross -sided, it

says Zowie. I thought it was hilarious. I like

that, too. And speaking of Adam Paulus, I was

listening to one of his podcasts, and he was

talking about this character. And I'm attributing

this to him because it's funny, but he said that

Warpath was probably the first character that

any of us had ever seen with Tourette's. I thought

he hit it right on the head because he was like...

I'm thinking, oh man, he's cursing. He's cursing

loudly. It's like, and then I went down for a

sandwich and, ah, zam, pow, and then we had some,

I could go for a nosh, you know? I just thought

that was funny. It looks good, but every time

I see a video review of any of the Generations

figures, whether they're the Generations version

or the United versions, which for people that

don't know who are living in the cave, the United

line is Takara's versions of the Generations

figures. I like the figures, but it's just not

something that... It's kind of like me and when

Seinfeld first was popular. I just completely

stepped away from it because I hated the popularity

of it. And while I love generations, I'm not

saying I don't love them. I love generations.

I love that they're doing stuff. Like I said

a second ago, anytime I go to Walmart or Target,

There's nothing there and it's like and I've

said this before on toy cast on all things transformers

anywhere I've talked about toys the online market

is at least three months ahead of stores And

if I was gonna get any of these guys, I would

probably get them from big bad toy store Just

because it's easier to get them online than it

is to hunt them down in stores Yeah, yeah. Yeah,

that makes sense Yeah, I mean part of the for

me part of the collecting is the hunt Yeah, I

enjoy going to different stores and looking and

that's part of the reason why I I haven't been

collecting so much lately is because I you know,

I I got parenting and things to do that That

you know preclude me from running around to four

or five different stores to find transformers.

Yes You know looking at this guy. Is he is he

more of a scout class? Who? Warpath? Yeah. No,

he's deluxe. You think so? Yeah, he has to be

deluxe. You know, I was going to say, the other

G1 minibot that is getting a new toy pretty soon

here is Powerglide. Oh god, another one? Oh,

you haven't seen the pictures yet? No. There

were pictures out of Toy Fair. Okay, yeah, I

did see those yeah, and there's a power glide

He's small and deep with a new power glide and

kind of looks more like a scout, but he may end

up being a deluxe I'm not sure but He looks really

nice a lot nicer than that Big -ass ultra size

they made And I only own like three repaints

of it, but you know it's still a little big to

be a power glide But you got to love that that

warthog Yep That's an awesome plane, and it's

always nice to see a new Powerglide. You don't

necessarily need lights and sound and a heart

on his chest. I don't need flashbacks of the

girl who loved Powerglide, thank you. I don't

need those flashbacks, thank you very much. What

about these mini -com things? These DinoBot...

That's the Generations Mini -Con 4 -pack set.

I like it. This is something that I think is

a long time coming, because any time you see

a dinosaur mold on the Transformers line, eventually

they're going to repaint it in G1 Dinobot colors.

You saw the same thing with the... the Beast

Machines Dinobots. I mean, when they first repainted

those, those were originally Beast Wars Neo figures

out of Japan. And Hasbro got the molds and painted

them up for the Beast Machines line, or a sub

-line, Dinobot sub -line of Beast Machines. But,

you know, within a year, they've repainted them

in G1 Dinobot colors. Now, these particular minicons

came out in what, Energon? The Energon line?

I'm not sure I think they I think they were and

they've repainted them four or five times now

and I've got a like I think they just did like

a Kmart did a Kmart exclusive with a bunch of

mini cons and they were repainted in there and

then there's a couple other repaints here and

there but they haven't done any She won Dinobot

repaints with these figures yet. Yeah, so, you

know, it's a matter of time. Oh, yeah But why

they decided to bring them out now, you know

right in the middle of This this huge wave of

movie toys. They're gonna have It doesn't make

any sense. But I mean at least we're getting

them. I'll probably buy him I mean, I really

I'm not real sure about the you know, the giant

saber -toothed tiger looking thing but you know,

they've got They've got a very G1 -looking Grimlock,

they've got a very G1 -looking Swoop, and a very

G1 -looking Slag. You're not going to name them

that, probably. They're going to give them similar

names, or similar something or another. And they

look nice, and I think maybe I'll sit them next

to my world's smallest Transformer Dinobots.

I was going to name him Slag, but I thought he

might get insulted. I love that line. Most animated

fans will get that reference. And if not, wait

for the appropriate episode of TAP. Yes, Transformation

Animation Podcast, coming summer 2011 from GeekCastRadio

.com. They've got another three pack. that's

coming out multiple three packs i don't know

i only saw the one i think there's only one is

it four pack and a three pack now the three pack

has uh the helicopter and i think the motorcycle

And another one of those A -10 Warthogs. And

as much as I love the A -10 Warthog, I don't

like this minicon. And I don't like the helicopter.

And I really don't like the motorcycle. He'll

pass. He looks kind of movieish. But I really

don't like that. I just don't like these minicons.

The motorcycle gets a pass. Exactly. You know,

and I think initially I passed on those minicons

too. I just didn't want to. I got a couple of

the repaints because they came in a set. A couple,

like I said, there's been repaint sets and I've

got them because they're exclusives. But I just

didn't like these particular figures. And from

what I understand, I think it was Takara got

a new designer that year. And he was placed in

charge of new minicons. And these were some of

those. And the other ones were the animals, which

they kind of heralded as the return to Beast

Wars at the time. And, you know, just not a big

fan of these new minicons. I like the older school

minicons of the Armada line. I'm not a fan of

minicons in general unless they transform into

cassettes and fit into a Autobot or Decepticon

communicator robot. God, you're killing me. What?

The dead horse again. The dead horse beating

it into the ground. And you know, I'm looking

here at the picture of the Bumblebee and oh crap,

I forget his name now. I want to say Demolisher,

but I don't think it's Demolisher. You know,

uh They've got two two -packs coming out one

with a bumblebee with green windows and and a

helicopter Mm -hmm, and then and the helicopter

which is weird. He kind of reminds me of Kind

of oh, it's that's the mini blackout. I think

yeah, that's the legends class blackout and then

the The other one which was uh, it's not them.

It's bone Bone crusher. No, I have no idea It's

the movie line. It's the tank from the movie

line. You know, it's Bone Crusher, Demolisher,

one of those. Anyway, but, uh... I think it was...

No, Bone Crusher was the one with the huge hook

on it. This is a tank. You know, I have such

a disdain for the movie line. It's not... You

know, I'm not pleading ignorant here. I'm just

aggravated. I don't remember his name. And, uh...

And then it looks like he comes with, like, a

Legend's jolt or something. Anyway, but they...

I don't like the deco on these. Yeah, I mean

honestly bumblebee. It's a it's a it's a gold

car with green windows who approved that Maybe

they're just running out of repaints for bumblebee

is what it comes down to is like oh how many

yellow cars do we need? Maybe it's maybe it's

fool's gold that is washing off green on the

windows Doesn't make any sense at all But yeah,

anyway, I don't know. The only other pictures

here is the three Scout -sized figures that they're

going to the dollar store. And one of them is

really a repaint. A Backstop. He's a Rhino. He's

getting a repaint. And he actually looks pretty

good for a repaint. But you know, Backstop was

just a crappy, crappy toy. Yeah. I just didn't

enjoy the toy very much. Really, it's just a

bad toy. The fact that they're repainting it,

it's like, yeah, that's nice. But I finally escaped

that completionist mode. I don't feel like I

need to have it. I don't want to go off into

a TF Prime tangent, but have you seen the latest

episode of Transformers Prime at all? No, no.

What happened is my DISH network, again, wants

me to upgrade my package in order to see the

hub. At first, it was like, oh, you can't see

this because you have to pay more. Then for about

two or three months, I could see it. and then

suddenly I couldn't see it. So now I'm having

to watch them online and I've got them downloaded

in HD format, but just haven't bothered to watch

them yet. Okay, well, if you watch the latest

episode which just aired this evening, Con Job,

uh... the one with uh... where they introduced

wheeljack they introduced wheeljack or they they

guest appearance wheeljack i don't want to spoil

it for anybody because yeah i saw the the preview

and it's like it's like wait a minute they they've

introduced a wheeljack with swords well i'll

go ahead and say this hopefully i don't do a

wheeljack Well, normally I don't do the whole,

oh, this is a spoiler warning, but I have to

because I don't want to get yelled at from anybody

who hasn't seen the episode yet. This is a spoiler

warning. The Wheeljack in Transformers Prime,

he used to be one of the Wreckers, so he is like

this big badass bot from Cyprus. You know what,

that's not Wheeljack. It's not the original Wheeljack.

I get it. But I really, really liked it. And

I don't really want it. The only reason why I

brought this even up was because the pictures

of Generations Wheeljack looks just like the

animation model on Transformers Prime Wheeljack.

Cause Generations Wheeljack looks good, and he's

got like wrenches for weapons. So for me that

just screams Wheeljack. But you know, here this

isn't screaming Wheeljack, this is screaming

IDW's Mary Sue. Let's give him swords and make

him a badass. And he talks like this because

he's a badass. I mainly brought it up so we could

talk about the Wheeljack toy. Alright. I was

trying to make a smooth transition. I think I'll

do the rest of it like this so I'll be badass

and I'll carry swords. That's not Wheeljack.

Bastards. So anyway, yeah, I know I've seen wheel

jack. It's a repaint of the tracks. Yeah, except

they've given him like a new front spoiler Yeah,

I call the spoilers like fender. It's a bumper.

Yeah, and you know, it's new pieces that make

it look more like the g1 toy and You know, I'm

not One of those guys I could tell you the exact

making model of the original g1 toy, but it looks

more I mean like tracks was a Corvette And the

way they've got wheel jacks set up with the new

bumper and the new spoiler and such, he doesn't

look like a Corvette anymore. So it's kind of

nice. And the paint job is dead on. And the fact

that tracks had the little wings that popped

out the sides, I mean, that was part of G1 tracks.

He had little white wings that came out the sides.

Well, G1 wheel jack. Didn't so much have little

wings. Yeah, they were little wings that kind

of came out the sides But not like that's not

the same and it wasn't a gimmick that was played

up as much But in robot mode he had these gray

wings that popped out on either side of his back

and and they're really expensive to replace now

They are if you have an incomplete wheel jet

good luck finding wings for him But yeah, I mean,

it was more like wings in robot mode than wings

in car mode. But the fact is, the new generation's

wheel jack has the little gray wings that pop

up in the back. And I mean, it just looks really

good. And the fact that he's got a rocket sitting

on his shoulder, that's awesome. He's got, well,

not guns anymore, but they're wrenches. He can

hold the wrenches in his hand and he can work

on things, tinker with mechanics and such. It's

so Wheeljack, and it just makes me want to own

one. Yes. And honestly, like I said, I'm scaling

back on my collecting. I'm not going the completionist

route anymore. When I say I want to own one,

that's because it looks like a pretty cool toy.

And to be honest, my generations or my classics

slash classics 2 .0 slash generations Shelf on

my display case is kind of full It's kind of

full. It's kind of full. I don't have any more

room for more generations toys. That's I've got

I've got three of them over here I haven't even

opened Wow, and yeah, and it's like, you know,

I Probably don't need to run out and buy jazz

and tracks and wheel jack, but I really really

want to Because that's just how cool they look

and that's just from the pictures. I've seen

yeah Yeah, wheel jack looks Dead on G1 awesome

as far as the robot mode the the alt mode looks

really good as well for what it is Moving on

to perceptor there have been New images or in

hand images shown of the United version of perceptor

in one of these images is a comparison between

the generations version of the United version

I gotta say I'm glad I haven't really Outside

of like the war for Cybertron toys I haven't

really collected the Generations stuff yet. I

had just, you know, fundage and stuff isn't there

for me right now to be out buying toys. And I'm

kind of glad that I've waited on Generations

stuff because honestly, while Perceptor's robot

mode, the Generations version looks great, I

hate the dull red on the Generations version

of Perceptor. The United version, the metallic

looking red looks amazing. Looking at the pictures

now, yeah, it's nice. To be honest, for some

reason, I think I like the yellow windows and

the yellow accents on the American version better.

But as far as the Japanese version go, I like

that they've painted the fenders silver. I like

the additional Autobot symbol. And I like that

they actually have the symbol under the chestplate

as opposed to the rub sign. Because I don't really

like the rub sign. I tell you, everybody's always

like, oh, have you got the Battle in Space 2

-pack yet, the Rodimus Cyclonus 2 -pack? I'm

like, nope, and I'm not going to. They're like,

why? Because they both have a giant black...

symbol on their damn chests, because it's the

blood sign. And I'm thinking, that looks so friggin'

horrible. If I want Erotimus or Cyclonus in those

colors, I would suffer another Galvatron in that

Challenged Cybertron three pack, rather than

get Erotimus and Cyclonus with... I love rub

signs. I've always loved rub signs since G1.

I'm sorry. They need to place them better on

some of these bots because it's just horrible

where some of these rub signs are placed. Yeah,

you know, I have this set on my desk here and

I didn't even notice that. Now that I'm looking

at it, it makes me giggle. It's kind of funny.

And yeah, I picked it up, you know, again, because

I don't have nearly enough. generations toys.

But yeah, I didn't notice that. I wanted the

little matrix, to be honest. I wanted him to

say, you know, light our darkest hour. You got

the touch! Stampish over there in the corner.

You got the power! Yeah! And again, moving on

from Perceptor to Blur, United Blur, there were

new images, in -hand images of United Blur, and

when I first saw Generations Blur, I was like,

really? They're making him powder frickin' blue?

He has three shades of blue on him, the Generations

version does, and I'm like, really? They're making

him powder blue? Oh my. God. And the fact that

he's IDW Blur doesn't really help in my love

of any other version of Blur, whether that be

animated or G1. But I got to say, again, I love

the Takara version, because it is a metallic

blue. I can't say that I do. What? Like I said,

I can't say that I do. It's nice in the vehicle

mode that he's got this extra metallic layer

to him. It's different. I'll buy that. But number

one, I like the blue colors on the American version.

He's got very, very light blue and then powder

blue. Toward the bottom of the fenders there,

he's got the dark blue. This looks like a better

combination than just the two -tone on the Japanese

version. Secondly, in robot mode, there's just

no accent colors on him. The American version

has some nice red accents on his knees. He's

got accents up on his shoulders. He's got gold

on his belt. Big -ass bell buckle. Yeah, right.

Yeah, so I mean he's got a lot of accent here.

Whereas the Japanese version No accent. I don't

mind like accent and honestly paint Yeah, which

is strange for a Japanese toy. Usually they go

all out for paint. Yeah, and here no, not so

much I mean, it's like they spent too much money

painting three -quarters of the vehicle mode

and you know metallic blue They couldn't afford

some accent paint on his legs See, I don't mind

they're not being accent paint because I would

because because this is IDW blur I honestly don't

care about the robot mode if I was to get him

he would stay he would be like swindle He would

be locked in car mode forever Again another animated

reference. Yay. We're building up to it. I see

Look at his arms. He's got like just plain powder

blue arms. I know. Whereas, you know, you look

at the American version and his shoulders are

black. His, you know, his biceps are white and

his forearms are blue. And his hands are dark

blue. So I mean, he's got a lot of variation

to him. And the Japanese version just looks like

a kind of a blue. I don't want to say blue brick,

but clearly he's very articulated. This is an

awesome figure. I've got one on my desk and he

can actually hold his rifle in two hands. It's

sad. I don't want to give the figure too much

praise because he started off as the IDW Mary

Sue, but no, this is an awesome figure. I really

like it. I like how he's got the… You know the

two guns and the holsters at the sides And he's

got his rifle that plugs in on the back. I mean,

he's just just a really nice toy But no, I gotta

say I prefer the US version So is your cup half

empty or half full? Right now it's about three

-quarters full. Yes, there's also pictures of

United Cup They compare him with United Cup Shut

up. It's not a Dixie Cup. Shut up. Shut up. Shut

up. Let's not go there. They compare him to the

G1 Cup. They don't compare him to the Generations

Cup. Basically, again, it's the same thing with

Takara. They've shinied up the paint, whereas

the Generations Cup itself is... Is just a flat

green they've they've signed it up together I

like both versions of cup in the alt mode as

far as the colorings as far as between generations

United, but I think I prefer the the United version

on the robot mode See now they don't have a picture

of the American version side -by -side here on

the site, but I like that target master per cup

They've got it looks like they've got some retro

label stickers on him. Yeah, either that or that's

uh That's just a reissue. I was about to say

I've got a target master cup I See him in here.

Where is he? Well, he was trying to find his

target master I'm just oh you mean the the g1

cup comparison. Yeah Those are so reprolabels.

Either this is a reissue, you know. Those are

so reprolabels. You look at the front of cup

there at that diecast part, and it's really hard

to find a cup that's not all chewed up and scratched

on that diecast painted part. Yeah. But this

is a really nice, you know, Target Master Cup.

And I like the way it compares. with the new

one, because it looks really sharp. And I think

that if they had a picture of the US Generations

Cup next to the G1 Cup, the collars would line

up a lot better. Oh, they do. They so do. Yeah,

they look sparkly. I don't know if the sparkly

works. Like I said, I like them both in the vehicle

mode, because when I first saw a Generations

Cup vehicle mode for the US, I was like, that's

the best vehicle mode they could have ever done

for him. No, it's awesome. It kind of reminds

me of almost a futuristic El Camino. No, it is

really nice. I think it was just dead on. When

I first saw it, I was like, wow, that's amazing.

And again, you've got places to stow away his

weapons. He looks like he's got really nice articulation.

The head looks good. I don't see why they bothered

to... They have a third party doing... Fake heads

for this guy so that he can have a cigar. I don't

see the point. I like him just the way he is

If you look at his arms and legs the shades of

green here they use Doesn't go with the sparkly

green paint at all. No, it doesn't Especially

on his wrists. Oh my god, that's army green.

What the hell? Yeah, well, I think that's it

looks like the only place they except on his

head Yeah, why'd they put that on his head? His

head and his wrists or his forearms are both

that weird army green color. At least they painted

some highlights on him, though. He's got yellow.

He's got some yellow highlights. He's not bland,

as bland as blur, let's say. I don't know. I'm

still having to go back to Wheeljack as my favorite.

So far, yeah. I haven't seen any pictures of

United Wheeljack yet, though. Yeah, I don't think

those are out yet. I'm not sure. Yeah, I'm finally

looking at the pictures of Wheeljack here, and

he looks really good. Yeah. Yeah, it's a nice

looking toy. This little gray wings on the sides.

Somehow this guy ended up with two rockets for

both shoulders, which is kind of neat. I don't

know, I'll just dig this toy. I'm definitely

going to pick up a Wheeljack. You know, most

likely going to end up picking up a, like I said,

a jazz of tracks, maybe a Perceptor, one of these

woman hats. You know, I'm going to get lucky

here at Target and I'm just going to restock

with all of them. And you're going to go into

the back and steal them all. Yeah, what do you

think of those little Legend Class G1 toys? They're

okay. Little tiny little Megatron Walther P38,

you know? They're alright. I just, like... The

other day, oh not the other day, a few months

ago, I was in Target. I was somewhere, I was

either at the Walmart or the Target and they're

right next to each other so I could have been

in either one. I think I went to one and I was

looking for something specific and it was a horrible,

horrible price so I went to the other store to

see if it was a better price. I think it was

Legends Ravage. and Legends Ravage is the only

Legends figure that I have. I just, Legends and

Activators and all that stuff to me while they're

great, they're for kids because I'm a guy with

fairly large hands and I'm sorry, those toys

are too damn small. Get your mind out of the

gutter, shut up. Big hairy hands. Shut up! But

you know what I mean though, as far as like trying

to transform a Legends class figure, you know

what I mean? It's one of those things for me

personally that I just cannot do. And I would

never transform Ravage, even though I think they

did the Legends class alt mode very well, better

than what they did with the Deluxe mold. But

it's... It's just one of those things where Legends

class stuff just isn't my bag. I mean, I don't

dislike it. I mean, I love that they made the

Bumblebee gold bug. Yeah, it's interesting. I

like the fact that these are fairly G1 accurate

toys, as far as the color and the shape and whatever

goes. I want to say they've already done that,

because they've done the world's smallest Transformers

out of Japan, and they're not much smaller than

these. Well, yeah, they're about half the size.

But they did the G1 Minibots, what, a year or

two ago? And I've still got these here. They've

got Cosmos, and like I said, they have that Legends

Class Warpath and Beachcomber. And what do we

got here? I think I got a bumblebee here. Excuse

me, sir. You alright? Yeah, I'm alright. Okay,

now that I got that bumblebee, and now that I'm

looking at it, that gold bug is just a repaint

of the Legends class bumblebee that was already

out. Yeah. Yeah, he's blue and gold instead of

black and yellow. I'm actually holding him here

right now and looking at him. in my case but

uh you know i i bought all those because they're

just really cool and they look nice when you

set them next to your you know your older vintage

figures yeah but uh yeah i mean even wheelie

is kind of neat i get the wheelie here i'm playing

with them right now that's why i'm not paying

attention to what i'm saying or doing but uh

no i'm paying attention No, I'm saying I am not

paying attention to what I'm saying. Clearly

you're not paying attention either, because you're

not understanding what the hell I'm saying. No,

I know what you're saying. Anyway, as I said

before, they did these other Legends class G1

homages. They didn't do a Megatron or an Optimus

or a Starscream, and I like them. I think they

look really good. The picture we have here is

the gratuitously photoshopped Hasbro version,

and you know they're going to be a lot blander

and washed out when you actually hold them in

your hand. But I think, you know, I get a general

gist of what they're going to look like, and

I think they'll look good on the shelf. Yeah.

It's not hard to knock them down. It's to get

them to stay down. That's the trick. Stay down.

They're everywhere. Yes. Generations slash United

Rekgar images. Again, I got to say I prefer the

United version of retgar as far as his I'm looking

at the comparison of the alt modes and I really

prefer the burnt metallic orange of the United

version of him as far as the alt mode I got to

look at the the other image the robot mode images

to see That's Yeah, the paint's too different

for the robot. Well, like the US version. The

US version is spot on Rekgar to me as far as

his face and all that, as far as colors on him.

It's spot on Rekgar. The United version, not

so much. Well, again, I'm looking at this and

thinking to myself, where is the... Maybe I'm

missing something here, because the picture I'm

looking at has the two robot modes together.

And it's like, all right, the Japanese version

doesn't have flames on his chest? Yeah, no, he

doesn't. All right, so the American version has

yellow flames on his chest. And he's got a silver

abdomen painted in there. and he's got tampographed

flames on his legs, like tattoos or something,

down by his shins. That, to me, conveys just

a little more personality. If you can get over

the rub sign on his windshield, I guess you'd

call it, I don't know. Again, I'm thinking that

the American version has a slightly better paint

job. In the robot mode, I will agree, yes. In

the alt mode, It just looks too bland. The motorcycle

alt mode for, and I've never, and people know

this, I've never been a fan of motorcycle transformers.

Just the motorcycles, the robot modes, fine.

Just a motorcycle as a transformer though, it

just makes no sense to me, but whatever. Just

because he's missing the sparkly. Like you said,

every year we get Hasbro photoshopped images

that look amazing and yet the toys you get are

washed out. This is a perfect example. I was

expecting Generation Soundwave to be that bright

a blue from the Hasbro photoshopped images and

he came out and he's powder wash dark. Bland

blue And then I saw about the work for Cybertron.

Yeah. Yeah, the war for Cybertron sound wave

He just I didn't get that from some wave Anyway,

but Yeah, yeah, I will agree the robot mode colors

on the generations the US version look a lot

better but the alt mode Colors, I prefer to go

Well, you know, it's just strange, because for

years, the mantra is, you know, the Japanese

have better paint job. You know, the Japanese

always get better paint. Occasionally in the

US, we'll get a repaint that may look better

than the original, like with Powerglide. The

Japanese got red, we got gray. A year later,

we got a red repaint. It probably wasn't as nice

as the Japanese original, I should say, but it

was still nice that we got a red repainted power

glide a year and 40 more dollars later. But it's

rare where we get the better repaint right off

the bat. We get the better paint on the mold

right off the bat. Again, I think it's because

they have this hokey metallic paint. You know,

it's a nice gimmick. I like it. I think it looks

good in most cases But if it's detrimental to

the rest of the design Or the rest of the you

know, the the colors and layout then maybe they

shouldn't maybe that's not a good idea I'm just

throwing it out there. Yeah, maybe it's not a

good idea But yeah, I don't know I mean for the

most part They're not bad. They're not awful,

except for maybe that blur. I'm wondering, I

don't think that the Japanese are getting Power

Core combiners at all. With the exception of

a couple of the minicons that they're repainting

black and gray. I'm not really sure. They're

getting the minicons. from the first wave of

the two packs, right? Like Caliburs and whatever

the other ones were called, I forget. But they're

repainting them, well not so much repainting,

they're remolding them in black and gray plastic

so they're not nearly as colorful as they are

here. And they're giving them away as incentives

at the toy stores. Oh, sweet. Yeah, so if you

buy, you know, like a liter class Prime, you

get a free mini -con, something along those lines.

They do that all the time with minicons. They

just give them away. Japanese toys, just here,

take one. Exactly. I kind of wish the toys are

somewhere in Japan. It's like I'll happily buy

the better paint job of Optimus Prime if you'll

give me a free minicon or two. Thank you, thank

you. I'll go back in line again and get another

one too. Watch me. Yeah, but you know, I think

I said before I really like the power core combiner

line and I'm seeing pictures now of a future

wave that hasn't come out yet, but it's got a

heavy tread who's a tank. Yeah. And what was

the other one? Sky Hammer who's a plane and it's

a new mold. It's not a repaint of an older one,

which is kind of nice. I dig that. Going back

to the sound wave really quick. I know this isn't

something where it is not new news, but just

to clarify I just think that the The US version

it just it the blue doesn't pop I like it, but

even when I saw it in stores when I saw it at

Target Was like really that's the blue. Oh my

god It just it didn't make me want to buy the

figure and then I saw the United images that

were coming out of The United sound wave and

the blue is much darker. Obviously it has the

metallic feel And it just it looks so much better

to me So I if I if I was eventually gonna get

war for cyber turned sound wave I would want

the United version because it just it looks so

much better to me Even the purple on him and

the wheels and on the sides it looks more pronounced

This is gonna bother me now because I'm actually

looking up I've got I've got my war for Cybertron

toys put up high. Oh, he's way in the back. No

wonder I can't see He's like, oh shit, it's way

in the back He's up on the top shelf which is

literally over my head, you know, the shelves

are really tall but I've got You know, there's

Megatron, and then behind him is Cliffjumper,

and behind him is Soundwave. And I'm like, man,

I can't see Soundwave from here. Which is kind

of aggravating, because I want to... Anyway.

Yeah, I can't really see what color it is. But

I liked the mold. Oh, I love the mold. It's just,

when I saw the figure in package, and I saw the...

Huh? Have you had a chance to see, like, the

gun? The gun pushes in. No, yeah, and then yeah,

and then they become like little batteries Yeah,

just like they did in the original but instead

of plugging into his backpack They you open up

his chest and then they slide inside his chest.

Yeah, it's just so cool Yeah, I'm not saying

that it's not cool. I just The coloring and like

the faded blue. I mean it's almost like the generations

version of sound wave is is an old pair of faded

denim jeans. It just is. Only sound like it doesn't

have a bunch of holes in his pant legs. It's

just one of those things to me, when I saw the

Takara images of the figure, I was more excited

for that than I was. I was super stoked that

we were getting more of the Zybertron toys. But

ever since I've seen... the Takara versions of

these figures, I much prefer. I'm so pissed that

I bought two US versions of Bumblebee because

I love the Takara version of Bumblebee a hell

of a lot better. You know, now that I've got

pictures of the American version up, I'm kind

of going back and forth and looking side by side

at them. And yeah, I can see where I would agree

with that. It looks like The very, very light

blue highlights on the American version were

replaced with pink. And I know you're saying,

oh, pink, but in a video game, the pink highlights

glowed. And this is more game accurate for me.

And secondly, yeah, you might be right about

the blue. It's not like... powder blue, you know,

but it's a lighter blue, it's a dull blue, whereas

this is a very, the Japanese one is just a very

dark midnight blue. Exactly. And against that,

I mean with the, I don't want to say pink, but

what is that, fuchsia? Fuchsia color highlights,

it looks really nice. It looks good, you know.

I'll buy that, sure, why not? I, you know, my

main problem with the US version of Soundwave

is what the colors are compared. My main problem

was I was expecting, and I should know better

than to expect this, but I was expecting Photoshop

quality color. Oh, no, that's original Photoshop.

It's where they Photoshop. I know I know and

then I saw it and I'm like really this is sound

wave. Oh my god Yeah, but I'll have to agree

with you. I don't think that this one. I mean

at least I'm not seeing it. It's not like he's

shiny metal plastic Like the rest of the toys,

you know, he's uh He's still just regular plastic,

but he's It looks like he's just a really nice

dark midnight blue as compared to the duller.

Yeah, I don't like the dull. Yeah, there's just

not a whole lot of hue to it. Yeah, I like it.

But then again, I think that for the most part,

I think I like the Japanese version of the War

for Cybertrain toys in general. Yeah, I do too.

You know, maybe it's just because, well, that

bumblebee, and Cliffjumper to a lesser extent,

you know, they look really good in the shiny

plastic. They do, they look, Cliffjumper looks

awesome in the shiny plastic. Yeah, and Prime,

you know, give or take, you know, eh, you know,

in shiny plastic, but I think Megatron looks

awesome with the shiny red highlights. Yeah,

he looks really good. But, yeah, it's a shame

that we won't be getting any more of those. until

maybe when the new video game comes out we'll

see more. I mean I know Hasbro has a lot going

on right now with all the different lines and

I seriously doubt they're going to because there's

so much in the fandom that people can choose

from I seriously doubt they're going to stop

generations just to promote Dark of the Moon.

I think they're going to promote them at the

same time but they'll probably heavily promote

Dark of the Moon more. But I don't think Generations

is going to completely stop when the movie hits.

I just don't think they'll do that with as much

demand as it's gotten. During the last couple

of movies, what had happened is, if you look

at the classics line, it kind of petered out.

And then with the second movie, they had Classics

2 .0, and that kind of petered out, as well as

Transformers animated. kind of when the movie

came out that kind of petered out so what I'm

thinking is we're gonna see prime toys right

and we're gonna and here we've seen some generations

which they've thrown in war for Cybertron into

that bundle it up there I have a feeling you

know we're gonna see our wheel jack and our our

you know our frenzy and rumble we're gonna see

those toys come out and then After that, you

know, that's gonna Peter out as well And then

maybe until after the movie toys come and go

which is gonna be another year at that point

maybe the new game will come out and we'll we'll

see a shockwave or Or an iron hide or you know

something like that But not for another year,

I don't I don't I don't see it happening My one

issue, and I know Hasbro said this specifically,

that we were only going to get four Cybertron

toys. We're only going to get four War for Cybertron

toys, not counting Cliffjumper, because Cliffjumper

is just a repaint with a new head. I'm not counting

Cliffjumper. They originally said that we were

only going to get four War for Cybertron. I don't

understand with as much as success that War for

Cybertron has had that they did not put out new

molds based on the game of Starscream, Thundercracker,

and Skye. You know, yeah, exactly. All they needed

was one mold and they could have repainted it

as many times as they wanted. Exactly. It's just

crazy. I would like to see an Ironhide. Slash,

you know ratchet Because that they played prominently

in the game. Yeah, and I would have liked to

have seen a shockwave You know, and I would have

liked to have seen a Starscream that they could

have repainted nightwish from Sunday Hell, I

would have liked to seen a white and blue repaint

of optimus prime No, I can't get no the ultra

Magnus repaints. No, apparently. Yeah, I would

have bought one you know saying now I'm seeing

an awful lot of You know, like Bumblebee shelf

warmers. Yeah. Which is a shame. Yeah. And like

I said before, I mean, really, honestly, if you

want to get any of the new figures, I know people

like you who like to, you know, particle lighting

is the hunt. I get that. But honestly, if you

want new figures. and not have to endlessly and

endlessly search for them or keep getting disappointed

every time you go to a Toys R Us or a Target

or to any store that sells toys. Online is the

best way to get them. If you absolutely want

that receptor, go to Entertainment Earth or Big

Bad Toy Store or wherever. I prefer Big Bad Toy

Store because I've had the most success with

them. Are they paying you? No. Okay, good. Just

start it out there, you know. They're not. I

wish, but they're not. Between buying toys online,

there's only a few things in Entertainment Earth

that I would really want. that two of them are,

well, one of them is completely out of my price

range. That TFTM Unicron statue, oh my god, that's

a hilarious amount of money. And then that exclusive

DeLorean that they have. And I just haven't had

a chance to get it there. But every time I've

ordered from them, it just wasn't a bad experience,

but it was one of those things where, oh, okay,

there's this, oh, wait. My Optimus Prime doesn't

have his Autobot symbol on him. Oh, wait, no.

This was an old Voyager that they got in before

they put the Autobot symbol on Animated Voyager

Optimus's shoulder. Lovely. You know, it's just

one of those things where I've never had an issue

with Big Red Toy Store, and I just prefer going

through them. That's just... It's the easiest

thing to do. I mean, from what I've read, from

what I've heard, like if you go through Entertainment

Earth, they will give you case fresh toys, like

your deluxe sets will have that, you know where

the hook is on top of the, where, you know, if

you have a deluxe toy that hangs on a hook? Well,

there's a tab in there that they have to push

out in order to hang that on a hook. Now, if

you buy it through Entertainment Earth, that

you get them before they push the tab out. I

mean, if that's important to you, then by all

means, go for that. But I'm gonna take most of

mine out of the package anyway, so I should care

less. For some people, hey, they want case fresh,

not touched by human hands, AFA graded or whatnot.

Yeah, that's a whole other punch. AFA grading,

oh God. Don't even get me started, holy crap.

Well, I'm just saying, it's like, well, I was

gonna FA grade this one, or AFA grade, but, you

know, I can't now because they pushed the tab

out of the top of the package. It's like, oh,

yeah, yeah, okay, sure. You know, I could probably,

let me see if I can find, I could probably go

onto HasbroToyShop .com right now. and look up

the 2008 Iron Man San Diego Comic Con exclusive.

They AFA graded that thing and it's like $130

something dollars for a damn Mighty Mug. Now

I know Comic Con exclusives are awesome and everything

else, but I'm sorry. There's no way in hell.

than I would pay. Now I've paid some prices,

some high prices from Mighty Mugs, but I'm sorry,

no Mighty Mug, whether it's a con -exclusive

or not, is worth $130 AFA grade. Fuck that. Actually,

I've never had any trouble getting the con -exclusives

that I've wanted in the past. Have you seen the...

The G .I. Joe Skystriker repainted the Starscream

with the Cobra Commander little thing with the

little Megatron thing. And he's got a little

Megatron gun. It's little things like that that

just make me giggle. I really like it. And I

remember playing with the Skystriker when I was

little. And the thing is huge. I mean, literally,

this has got to be like an ultimate class toy.

I mean, it's a big toy. But, you know, just to

have one painted up a Starscream would be awesome.

Well, that's what they're doing. I mean, this

thing's going to be big. Like bigger than Masterpiece

Starscream. It is a really big toy. It's probably

about two feet long. And it's non -transformable

either. Well, it's not transformable. No, I know,

but I mean the whole point of it is so Cobra

Commander can ride in Starscream. I get that.

I'm not complaining that it's non -transformable.

I'm just stating the fact that it's un -transformable.

But I mean, the fact that you still have a lot

of play value with this toy. Originally, the

seats came out and they had parachutes on the

back. I don't know if the new one's going to

have that, but that would be awesome, number

one. There's a bunch of panels to pop off, and

you can see the engines. There's a lot of bombs.

A lot of bombs underneath it and you can pop

them off and drop on your bad guys and you go,

die, die, die. You know, there's a lot of play

value on this toy. It's a nice toy. It's a really

nice GI Joe vehicle, you know, by itself. But

the fact that it's Starscream colors is just

insane. Yeah. And I want to say it's, I want

to say it's like, what, like, I forget exactly

what type of jet it was. It's not, it's not the

same. as the uh you know I think it's like an

like a f -22 or something in the the original

seekers were f -15 I'm not sure I forget I don't

know I couldn't I'm not big in the military vehicles

I couldn't tell you but it's a very nice homage

especially when you spread the wings out yeah

yeah it just looks really really cool I could

care less about the little Megatron gun for Cobra

Commander but that's still kind of cool it's

a really neat thing And, you know, if I thought

I had room in my office for a two -foot long,

you know, Starscream repaint, I'd definitely

pick one up. They're going to be expensive as

hell, though. Oh, it's probably easily going

to run $90 to $100. I can see it around $60 to

$70, but speaking of expensive, what's ridiculous

is these third -party toys that are coming out.

I just saw pictures the other day, I want to

say, of They're like little, it's like a little

Optimus Prime and a little Soundwave Headmaster.

And it's like a little Optimus Prime head that

unfolds into a little, like a Legend Class Optimus

Prime. And the funny thing is that you can, if

you have two of them, you can unfold one into

a little Optimus Prime with no head and then

pop the other one in head mode on top of it.

Oh wow. Yeah, it's silly. And it's selling both

of them in black repaint. So you'll have Optimus

Prime and then Scourge or a black or an Evil

Prime, right? And then you've got Soundwave and

then I'm assuming Soundblaster. Or the black

repaint of Soundwave. Yeah. It's just kind of

neat, and they're like 15 bucks each. I'm thinking

that's a bit much, but as far as headmasters

go, that's a decent price. I mean, a vintage

G1 headmaster will run you 20, 30 bucks. Yeah.

But again, it's a vintage G1 headmaster rather

than a... But this is a headmaster that turns

into Optimus Prime. I know. I mean, come on.

I get that, and that's fine. And I have nothing

against third -party companies. It's just...

Their prices are even more outrageous than than

a lot of the regular toy companies because they

need They need the demand they need the money.

They need to make that money back from they're

not making 10 ,000 units Yeah, you know they

can't they can't produce in bulk they have they

don't get that That savings of scale you know

right so they they have to charge more for their

smaller print runs And if you're building an

Optimus Prime toy, you can repaint it six ways

from Sunday and maybe recoup some of that money.

The new, I forget what they're called, it's like

Cataclysm or something, but some company is releasing

three Insecticons repaints. Not even repaints.

They're brand new toys. And they kind of look

like insecticons. In fact, to me, they kind of

look like the deluxe insecticons. But they're

made up to look like the regular ones. So it's

neat. It's kind of cool looking. I haven't seen

them in color yet. But I have a feeling they're

going to make them black and purple with yellow

highlights. And they're going to be really nice.

The problem is they're $80 each. You know and

I just don't want to pay 80 bucks for you know

deluxe class toy even if it's really cool You

know it just kills me that that you know they

would charge that much and granted There's a

lot of skill that goes into this and they got

to pay their you know their Chinese knockoff

factory So much money in order to build these

things But the market's there, and if they were

40 bucks, let's say, they might sell more. And

you know they're going to repaint the damn things,

because you've got one, let's say you've got

your bombshell, and you paint him in purple and

yellow and black, and look, it's bombshell. And

then you turn around six months later, and you

paint him in red and with white highlights, and

you say, oh, it's Chop Shop. Sure, I'll buy that

too. It's it's cool. It looks nice. Oh, yeah,

you know, and he's got little accessories and

stuff and He's posable has nice. You know, it's

basically a better toy than what you would get

out of Hasbro at that size, right? Yeah. Well

because Hasbro is not gonna charge you 50 40

80 bucks for a toy. Yeah, that's small But you

know, I understand it I get it but You know,

I'm not gonna buy any Yeah, and have you seen

what they've done with the Devastator toy? Which

Devastator toy? They're making a brand new Devastator

with deluxe sized toys. Each limb of Devastator

is a new toy. A new hook and a new bone crusher

and a new scrapper. They're big. I don't want

to say big, I want to say like deluxe class toys.

And they they combine together Into a very nice

-looking Devastator and I've only seen a couple

of the limbs in color and I've seen molds of

like the head and then pieces of it put together

so you've got like a Like a Devastator torso

in gray, right? but It looks really nice, but

they're going to charge $80 a limb. I don't know

this. I'm guessing. But there's six limbs. You're

looking at a $500 toy. Yeah, that's too much.

Yeah, the thing's probably going to stand about

as tall as, let's say, Energon Omega Supreme,

right? And it's going to be a good -sized toy.

Yeah. But $500? Yeah, it would be 480 plus whatever

the cost of shipping is on each Which would probably

be the cost of shipping would probably be $20

each So yeah, you're looking at anywhere from

five to six hundred dollars for this thing and

granted They can repaint it orange and yellow

and call it g2. They can repaint it, you know

in Diaclone colors. I mean there's a bunch of

stuff you can do with a Devastator but for 500

bucks a pop No matter how cool it is, you could

have a foot and a half tall Devastator and I

just still can't justify it. I mean, I would

rather put that five or six hundred dollars,

I would rather mail that to Frenzy Rumble and

have him just build me a custom one from scratch,

let alone have this third party thing at five

or six hundred bucks. You mentioned, you know,

they could repaint it yellow, orange. I always

hated, as a kid, in 1986, 87, when people are

like, oh, hey, look, it's the Constructicons.

I'm like, the Constructicons were never yellow.

Oh, yes, they were. Oh, no, they weren't. Here

are the real Constructicons, god damn it. They're

fucking green and purple and black. I don't think

the yellow ones came out until Landy won. I remember

seeing them in the 80s. It might have been 88,

but I remember seeing them in the late 80s 88

was still Well, maybe 88 89. I don't think they

came out yet. I want to say 90 91 I Could be

wrong. Anyway, but yeah, no, I've got an orange

Devastator. I love it You know, he's it's just

a really neat looking toy in the yellow one Not

as beloved just because they're not as rare as

the orange But I like the way the orange looks.

It's a nice toy. Green and purple and black only.

Anyway, as I always say. No, I mean, if you've

got a third party toy that you could do a lot

of different repaints with, then they're going

to. But again, $500 a pop is a bit much. And

they're making these deluxe class toys. for $80

each. Partially that's one of the reasons why

I'm seriously not collecting as hard -core as

I used to. I used to buy stuff out of Japan and

I used to buy third -party stuff, like the stuff

that the Lucas Brothers at Unicron .com put out.

I bought all those. I like those and I want to

buy everything, but now, jeez, I just ... I just

can't justify that kind of cost. If you've got

them two growing boys that you're going to have

to eventually put through college, Transformers

comes second to education. You know, it's sad

too. It's like, well, kids, I can either buy

clothes for you for the summer or I can buy a

Devasator. I don't know. This is a tough choice.

I can still afford food, but you'll have to dress

in paper sacks. Unless I buy that orange repaint

in which case no more food for you either, you

know paper sacks and gruel for you kids So it's

transformers and large televisions that make

the Wilson family broke as hell Well oddly enough

it hasn't been transformers and well no, I know

but I was trying to work the damn TV in there

Oh yeah, the big -ass TV. You know what kills

me too is I've got this big -ass TV. It's beautiful.

I love it. 60 -inch plasma. It's got built -in

Wi -Fi in it. I can get Netflix streamed directly

to my television. It's awesome. But now I'm seeing

these 3D televisions, and I'm like, oh, that

looks cool. And I didn't think it would look

cool, but they've got a kiosk set up at Best

Buy. So you've got the TV with a 3D movie on

it. on blu -ray and then right in front of the

thing mounted there at like an adult height and

a kid height are the glasses and you kind of

put your face in front of it in front of the

glasses and look through them and it looks neat.

It's just a really neat effect. And I picked

Aiden up had him look at it and he thought it

was cool too. Just say no to 3D. That's my stance.

Just say no to 3D. It's a fad that should have

died already. I have a feeling that we're going

to have a 3D war, kind of like what we had with

the DVDs. Is it HD or Blu -ray? What's it going

to be? Finally, Blu -ray won, but it took a year,

two years for that to happen. I think we're going

to see issues with what types of 3D are going

to be available, and then we're going to have

issues with ... the protocols and things like

that that are built into the television. Once

all that's ironed out, once the technology matures,

you'll see the price come down. Five, six years

from now, I'll probably be buying a 3D TV. By

then, with any luck, there'll be a decent library

of movies to go along with it. Right now, you've

got maybe three movies you can buy that are in

3D on Blu -ray. Yeah, no, I just want to be able

to see the damn movie. I don't care about 3d

I don't care about wearing them stupid ass glasses

I just don't care if I could go back and see

inception in 3d. I do it Yeah, have you seen

it yet? It's awesome. Not yet. It's been ten

times more awesome in 3d Trying to figure out

a way I'm trying to figure out a segue back to

get back to transformers. Yes. What is that optimus

prime? Holy shit. Okay, well transformers Yeah

Wow I'm a segue master Wow segue into anything

Working I'm still waiting since this is toy cast.

I'm still waiting for more Phineas and Ferb toys

You know, I see them I'm seeing them out now

I saw the popple Yeah, the peri of the platypus

popple. I saw The play sets now where you can

get like a Phineas and Ferb with their skateboard

accessories and it's like that And I'm seeing

um, oh What else not like I want to say What

are they called? You know It's not a playset.

It's like a little radio with Phineas and Ferb

on it. It's like Roleplay is what they call it.

Okay, but Transformers used to call it role play

Yeah, where you know, they sell the little laser

guns and the sword and it's called role play

Well here they've got the Phineas and Ferb You

know Radio or I don't know it's something like

that but You know, it's branded items, let's

call it. Yeah. Yeah. Something like that. Yeah.

I just, we were recording this on a Friday night.

Friday, February 20th. That was a damn day. Can

you read it? Yeah. Saturday, the 26th of February.

There you go. No, it's the 25th. Well. Oh, wait.

You know what? It's four minutes to midnight,

so. Yeah, and you're an hour ahead. That's yeah,

so it's the 26th But no tonight I had seen They

started doing Phineas and Ferb take two Where

it's the two of them? It's like a little 15 minutes

short where it's the two of them have their own

talk show And they have live people come on and

they and they talk to them Yeah, that's I don't

know if you've seen this kind of dumb It's kind

of cool, especially tonight's little episode.

They had Regis Philbin on there. Oh, God. And

Regis is saying, squirrel in my pants. Squirrel?

Squirrel? That would be funny. I'll take that.
