About this Episode

TFG1Mike and General Tekno discuss their toy picks: the Fansproject Warbot Defender, a complex third-party Springer update with impressive engineering and articulation, and the Marvel Muggs Spider-Man figure. They cover the Warbot's transformation complexity, paint applications, posability across all three modes, and how it compares to official Transformers products. They also touch on upcoming Transformers releases, other toy lines, and toy hunting at various retailers.

You're listening to the GeekCast Radio Network,

a podcast! Tune in next week for a much better

episode! For now though, courage! Hello and welcome

to the 56th episode of Toycast, sponsored by

BigBadToyStory .com, where you can save from

2290 % and over 1 ,000 items. I am your host,

DFJ Mike, and joining me is General Techno. Hello.

Hello there. How are you? I'm alright. Yes. Yeah,

you got a haul in today, as we're recording this,

and all of the pictures you took. You fucking

Canadian god. Yeah, you know I took that one

just to rile you. Yeah, exactly. You would react

like that, so I was waiting to see what the exact

reaction would be. Oh, fuck. Fucking green bastard.

I should never make another toy of him ever again.

Oops, to be fair, it wasn't Hasbro that made

the toy. Then never! No company, any company,

doesn't matter whether they have rights or not.

Should never make a frickin' springer knock off

or whatever ever again. Oh, yeah. Not much has

been going on with me, just doing my whole podcasting

thing. I've been on, I think, Three of Radio

Free Cybertron shows now. I've been on RFC last

couple weeks. New Soundwave and this past Monday

I recorded with XV on Superhero Time. Sweet.

Yeah, I've been too busy to really listen to

a lot of podcasts. I've got a big backlog I need

to catch up on. Yeah. And the thing that makes

it really a pain is just catching up on shows

like, say, Moon Bay like I mean radio -free Cybertron

that's usually couple hours and like what TFW

is is a couple hours and these ones aren't too

too bad but I mean like the ones that I find

hard to catch up on and I mean I don't want to

me I'm not disrespecting the podcast at all because

I enjoy listening to it, but it's moon base to

the UK podcast just because their record sessions

are like usually like three hours long or so

That was only for the 100th episode, that was

the 3rd. Well, yeah, I still need to finish that,

and my iPod bumped that off of my queue, so I

need to re -download that, so. How did your iPod

bump it off the queue? Oh, iTunes only syncs

the last X unwatched ones, so. No, no, no, you

can set iTunes to... Yeah, I know, I know you

can, I just haven't changed it, that's all. Oh,

I was gonna say. Yeah, no... I like listening

to Moonbase 2's interviews, because those were

fairly interesting. I haven't listened to them

a lot lately. There's nothing against them. We're

probably going to end up collaborating on something

in the future for ATTF or whatever, but I don't

know yet. But yeah, I mainly subscribe to them

for the interviews that they do with like Michael

Bell and Flint Billy and all that stuff. Oh yeah,

their interviews are gold. Yeah. I mean like

they're very good at it, they're very good at

it. They've had plenty of practice. Yes. Alright,

so who are you all, should not be any surprise,

but who are you going to be talking about? I'm

going to be talking about a certain figure that

Mike here can't see. Well, it's not just a figure,

it's the entire fucking character. Hopefully

Hasbro Legal never catches wind of, because the

read between the lines impression I get from

Hasbro's design team is, don't tell us, quit

reminding us these exist, otherwise we'll have

to do something about it. But it is the fans'

project Warbot Defender figure, which they just

released, which is essentially an update of the

classic G1 Springer design. Yes, but legally

they cannot call it Springer. So yes, it's called

warbot defender like the box itself has no mention

of I'm just Let me just grab the box. It's just

off to the side. It's just off to the side here.

But yeah, the box has no mention of Transformers

or Springer or any of that type of stuff on it

whatsoever Just a sec Yeah, I mean it's got its

own box art They don't use any like Autobot logos

or anything that could be confused with transformers

Really? The only giveaway that it's based off

of a transformers figure to be perfectly fair

to them is the design of the figure because they

go out of their way to not make any references

to transformers on here. The helicopter mode

with the windshield, it's very obvious the yellow

part in front of the windshield, that's where

the autobot symbol goes. Yes, yes. Yeah, it's

very clearly a Springer update. And yeah, I got

it through Big Bad Toy Store, one of the show's

sponsors. So just to plug them, the service was

pretty good. The service for getting the haul

I got was pretty good. I got him a haul with

a RID figure, as well as the STCC Destro, which

they have. If they still have it in stock by

the time of this recording, get it, because it's

only about 20 bucks or so US. So considering

this was retailing for 50 originally on their

site, that's an insanely good deal. Yeah, I looked

on there today and I saw something that I really

want, but I seriously know we're going to be

getting it anytime soon, which is those poster,

or not poster, poser sonic figures. Those are

awesome. Oh, those. Oh yeah, I went on there

and then got upset when I noticed that the three

and three quarter inch wave that I... that I

haven't seen at retail here, but hadn't ordered

off of BBTS or anything because they didn't have

them in stock yet. I just saw that they've sold

those out now, so I'm like, crap! Because I really

wanted those. And there's a new wave out in the

U .S. too, which I'm going to have to flex my

contact list in order to try and get my hands

on these figures, because I really both like

these three and three -quarter Sonic figures.

And they're doing a, and they've just announced

as well, there's pictures that showed up of a

two pack of Eggman and Big the Cat, who are larger

than the other figures as well. Like Eggman is

gonna be four inches, and Big is gonna be four

and a quarter inches. So they're gonna be in

scale with the other characters, and with everyone's

GI Joes, coincidentally. Which is what I like.

So what out of the three modes is your favorite?

Out of the three modes, well, I mean, robot mode,

I think, is the best standard. It's what it's

packaged in. It's where the homage is clear.

Just in terms of posability, like, this figure

is, it's not, like, knockoff -type quality at

all, first of all, I want to say. The plastic

is really solid. And they've got, like, full,

proper joints on this thing. Like, it's got ratchet

joints. It's got the whole, it's got ratchet

joints. It's got the, swivel joints, it's got

the whole shebang that you would expect from

a traditional Hasbro figure, only it's actually

got more posability than they tend to put on

their deluxes, because as far as size goes, I'm

just doing a quick comparison, it's about the,

it's slightly taller than the average deluxe,

it'd be basically like a tall deluxe or a short

Voyager, just in terms of its size. Yeah, the

only problem with is that if you pose him right,

or if you lean him right, he pulls off the Matrix

move. Oh, which move is that? The backwards,

the falling backwards move when Neo went to move

out of the bullet. Oh, you mean just because

of his lack of heal support? Yeah. Oh, but see,

that doesn't really come into play with this

figure all that much simply because It's one

of the, that only really comes into play if like

you're standing them statically and even then

it's, even then I'm just standing them right

now and like I would actually have to bump him

in order to knock him over. Well yeah, that's

what I'm saying. He's very stable on his own

and like if he's even more stable like he's just

as stable as if he were to put him in complex

poses which is great because you can put him

in virtually any pose you want. Like, I'm gonna

have to rave about these arms because the arms

are the best and worst part of this figure simultaneously.

Like, they're the best part because of how posable

they are, but that also makes them the worst

part because they're the most complex part of

the transformation that's hardest to get. Because

there's slightly different configurations for

the arms in both modes. But yeah, in Defender's

case, like, his arms are ridiculously posed.

He's got rotating joints, like, at the shoulders

that... you know, do full 360 range of motion.

But he's also got, because of the transformation,

he can also swivel his shoulders inwards. So

he can actually do stuff like, he can actually

do stuff thanks to his poseability, like say,

cross his arms and stuff like that. Or even like,

hold his sword two -handed. If the handle was

long enough, which it isn't, he would be able

to pull off a lot of dual -handed sword -wielding

poses. Yeah, he's got that and then he's got

like a swivel at He's got a swivel at the base

of his shoulder at the base of his shoulder as

well for at his upper arm Like that just goes

up and down like about 90 degrees range of motion

he's got a swivel then that does like the full

360 at the elbow and Then he's got and then on

top of that. He's got a ball joint off the elbow

that his forearms hooked up to And plus he can

he's the only toy ever made so far that can actually

Holster and unholster his own weapons on them

not automatically but if you move it in the right

way Yes, but I mean I'm just I'm not even done

with his hand arm pose ability there is here

like his fists can also Like they swivel inwards

like a lot of you get with a lot of figures due

to transformation Only the way they designed

it. It doesn't leave the hollow forearms like

a lot of toys do Because of just how he transforms

and he's also got the standard Wrist articulation.

He's also got wrist articulation, too So really

he can do like his upper body can do any pose

that you want to get out of him and his legs

are stable enough to be able to Hold any leg

pose you want because of all those ratcheting

joints in there like he doesn't really have many

ratcheting joints in his arms, but Well, he's

got some I guess but they're weaker ones and

the place you really need ratchets is the legs

and he's got them there now admittedly, I have

the same problem that Vangelis on YouTube and

of TFW had with his and that one of the knees

the ratchet is a bit is a lot weaker than the

other one, but that doesn't mean that it's Feels

like it's gonna collapse anytime. It's still

a very sturdy ratchet joint and it still holds

pulled it poses just fine and just not as nice

as it could be. And I mean, really, that's the

only quality control knock I have against this

figure, which is really impressive. Like the

paint apps, the paint apps, well, they're stellar

paint apps. They're really, they're like spot

on. This thing was very professionally made and

it's got a lot of paint apps as well. Because

like there's green plastic. There's a lot of

painted green and the green paint they use matches

up perfectly And then you've got the painted

blue and you've got gray plastic and you've got

some painted darker gray on there as well And

it's just a very good mix a very good mix right

Now see if if I ever Which not saying I will

do this, but if I ever bought him if I ever did

Thank God he comes in robot mode because this

is one toy where I would just want for the robot

mode I would not have to buy two other ones because

Yeah, I would I would not be transforming him.

I would have his I would have imposed in a way

where everybody is basically just Tromping down

on him if I ever get a classics hot classics

Rodimus. Oh boy. It's over Quite honestly, I

will agree with you in that like if you were

to get this because I know you have a hard time

You tend to have to transform your stuff one

-handed this guy the instructions are very good

with him But even though the instructions are

good There still is a bit of a they actually

I'd argue that the instructions are almost too

detailed and that it can Kind of get unclear

because they're showing the the same step at

various stages in a few points. Yeah I've never

bought any third party stuff yet. Not saying

that I won't. Not saying that I don't like third

party stuff. Third party stuff is okay. Knockoffs,

I will never buy. But even with the official

Transformers Hasbro merchandise, I still have

a hard time reading those instructions. I use

video reviews as my instructions because I have

to actually see it be done for me to kind of

follow it for the most part. Like, I had a hell

of a time with a lot of the animated toys. Well

you might like the instructions on Defender then

simply because of the fact that they use actual

photographs and show actual hands and they go

into painstaking detail on how to do him. Which

you'd need the painstaking detail for, because

otherwise you're going to transform him incorrectly.

Because, yeah, it's a great figure for... I mean,

yeah, that's probably one of the weaknesses of

the figure as well, just how hard he is to transform.

In that, like, you put, when we first saw the

pictures of him, like, he looked pretty straightforward

in terms of, oh, I can see how they switched

the tank mode to copter mode, it's not that special.

But there's a lot that goes on. In that like

everything change moves when you switch them

from one triple changer mode to the other It's

not just a simple Oh flip these pieces and now

yeah It's not at all like the original toy in

terms of Oh stick a propeller on there and boom

you have a mat magically have a car now I mean

a pre a helicopter. Yeah Yeah, like he looks

really good in both in all three modes. He doesn't

feel like he's gonna fall apart either He's ABS

plastic plus die cast And the diecast, again,

the diecast is really well used. I don't have

that much stuff with diecast, so I was the only

ones that I have really are a few G1 figures

that are reissues and some of the Titanium series

figures. So naturally I was leery given the Titaniums

and their infamous misuse of diecast. But this

figure, like, you can't tell it's diecast by

looking at it, first of all. But, like, when

you touch it, it's clearly die -cast. It's got

some heft and weight to it. And, really, the

presentation on this figure is stellar. Even

on the packaging, they go the extra mile by,

they give you the package, and then they put

the package in a clear case that's separate from

the packaging. So, the actual, you can display

it mint in box and it won't get damaged. Yeah,

it's kind of like, um... Kind of reminds me of

the Mighty Mugs, where... You have the box and

you have the plastic insert No, it's not even

that it's like the might this one has the plastic

insert like the mighty mugs do but it's got a

plastic sheet on the outside of the box as well

a Plastic case for the box. Oh, yeah. Okay, but

yeah Yeah, that's cool. Most places like charge

extra for in order to get toys shipped that way

They actually include this and that is a very

awesome bonus Yeah. Yeah, he's capable of pulling

off a lot of poses. He looks good next to figures,

as Mike saw in the picture. No, no. Just, just

no. Shut up. We're not going to have to draw

something or suggest that he used that picture

for this review. No. This won't happen. It will

not happen. Now, if you want to draw something

where a classic Stronimus is kicking him in the

balls, then maybe that will work, but Yeah, I

was just thinking drawing him like pimp style

and then going like, uh, Right and then just

making some sort of general insults either you

or Ottomus or something. No, no, no, no Like

maybe stomping on a cigar or something. You know,

it's funny when I first saw the movie the original

86 movie I don't know, you know, I knew of Astro

Train and Bootswing from season one and two of

G1 but when it got to the movie and they introduced

this green bastard until he did his car mode

in the Junkion battle I never knew he was a damn

triple changer honestly if I ever got this figure

and I would if I ever did buy two of them I would

only buy them for the robot mode and the helicopter

mode. I could do a crap less about the armored

car mode. To be fair, the armored car mode on

this guy, like, I really, I can't decide which

alt mode I like better because they've both got

weaknesses about them. Aesthetically, yes, but

they're both very strong. And the armored car

reminds me of the Tumblr from Batman Begins.

See, that's the problem with toys nowadays. Ever

since that damn Tumbler came out, every armored

car thing that I've seen is just trying to mimic

that. Yeah, but to be fair, it works well, though,

with that type of design, considering that he

goes from a helicopter. It fits Springer really

well, because he's one of the wreckers. It fits

him well, because he's this elite commando type

guy, so of course he'd have a powerful alt -mode.

for it because you need to justify the ground

mode somehow because realistically if you can

choose between flying and driving if there's

no benefit to driving then it's kind of a redundant

all mode if you make it like a heavily armored

car then it's not oh yeah no I'm not saying not

I'm not saying don't make them a heavily armored

car mode but it seems like ever since Batman

Begins got released and all the Batman toys came

out the tumbler toys and all that stuff Ever

since that, every toy that I've seen since for

an alt mode as far as an armored vehicle, for

the most part, it seems to me it's a copycat

of the Tumbler, and I don't like that. I'm not

saying that Springer shouldn't have an armored

car mode, he should, but I just don't like the

copycat thing. No, I get what you're saying,

I get what you're saying. I can see that criticism,

but... I mean, hell, Transformer into... in the

armored car mode, paint in black and you have

a transforming tumbler. Not quite, I mean it

shares design aesthetics but still. The thing

that I really like about this figure though is

that I wasn't originally, I was originally on

the fence because it was like I wanted him and

then started thinking well there's swindle and

blast off coming, this car I think I'll wait

and see how reviews judge this figure because

he's a bit pricey. And it's third party, so I

don't know what I'm getting, possibility -wise,

given that it's Fan's Project's first attempt.

And then the reviews were all so positive that

it was like, no question, I'm getting him and

Swindle and Blast Off for definite buys now,

because I know that Fan's Project can pull off

individually. Swindle and Blast Off, what are

they going to be released under? They are being

released as Munitioner and Explorer. I don't

know, I mean, what line? No, these are the more

fans products. Oh Okay, they're the ones that

combine with Brutus with the movie Bruticus toy.

Okay. All right so yeah, they replace two of

the drone limbs and honestly the problem with

those figures is going to be the fact that They

make that the upgrade kit is for Bruticus and

makes them look great combined But there's but

the individual figures look awesome on their

own So it's the sort of thing where you'll you

have people who? Like, who really, really want

two of these figures so that they can have them

not combined? But I can't justify that to myself,

so. Unless I see Swindle cheap. Yeah. Okay, see,

I didn't know that they were fans' project stuff,

because... Yeah, these are fans' stuff. When

it comes to fans' project, outside of the City

Commander armor add -on kits, I don't pay any

attention to the add -ons, like the Bruticus

add -on, or... whatever other add -on kits they

had. Yeah, they did the Superion one. Yeah, Superion.

I pay attention to the main, you know, the big

set, whatever that may be, for whatever figure

it's supposed to be. The City Commander one,

you mean? Well, yeah, you know, stuff like that,

yeah. Yeah, but like, they're really out doing,

like, City Commander, that's like... You compare

that to Defender and City Commander, like, pales

in comparison in terms of the engineering. This

figure is, like, several times as complex as

City Commander ever was, and they pull it off

marvelously. They know what they're doing, fans

project, and they're... Well, that's because,

like you said before, this was their first offi

- not official as far as... Hasbro, but this

was their first Official attempt at an actual

figure and not a hat on set So yeah, it's gonna

be ten times better than that than the City Commander

because City Commander all as that is is is an

armor set for ultra magnets or Nemesis Prime

or hopefully Shattered glass prime get on that

fans friend. There was the optimus prime a power

convoy. Yeah And I need to find a Magnus one

of these days that I can actually take my nemesis

SDCC nemesis prime out of that armor because

Well, I've got my classics prime in the TF con

armor and I've got two other versions the classics

primal one of them is broken is broken up the

leg anyway So I mean, I can't really pose them

up without his light stuck together so he's no

candidate for the armor and then the other one

is Yeah, it is Nemesis Prime because I need to

display Magnus somehow. Alright, but what I'm

saying is you have the the Magnus, the blue City

Commander armor with Nemesis Prime inside of

it. Yes, I do. That's blasphemy. I'm not a fan

of it either because Nemesis Prime should not

be locked hidden away like that because his deco

is ridiculously awesome. I don't like it either,

so. But sometimes you gotta do what you gotta

do. All right, anything else to say about Warbot?

Other than if you can afford him, if you can

afford him, buy him because he is like more fancifully

engineered than honestly Hasbro couldn't do anything

like this simply because of the fact that they

have to conform to certain legislations and marketability

and all that stuff. But this figure, for what

it is, is ridiculously awesome. So if you're

Transformers, buy him. You know, you said earlier

that he's pretty much, uh, he's almost... Well,

what did you say? You said he could be a small

deluxe, or, no, a very large deluxe or a small

Voyager. That's why Hasbro could never make him.

Because it falls between their price points and

that's why outside of the fact that it's fans

project and it's their first figure Coupling

with them in the in the articulation and then

the boxing that's why he's the price he is Well,

I think the price is because the put your pose

ability because of the scale and because the

die cast but realistically Considering when if

you're someone who say wants the club punch counter

punch your stutter or the shard glass cyclonus

like punch -counterpunch, I've got one of those

coming, eventually. But if you're one of those

people that wants one of those exclusives, and

then you start whining about Fans Project and

how overpriced they are, get off your high horse,

because Fans Project is offering you more than

the Transformers Collectors Club can, and they're

offering it to you for roughly the same price,

for roughly, if not slightly more expensive,

but you're getting a whole new mold, and you're

getting a whole new design, So really, if you've

got a problem with this figure, if you're whining

about the cost and you're willing to buy a club

exclusive, stop whining about the price and get

off your butt and buy this figure. What's the

non -club member price for Punch Counterpunch?

There is none now because he sold out in the

weekend. I know that, but what I'm saying is

when it was first released before it sold out,

what was the non -club price? I can't remember

offhand. I think it's including shipping, I think

it's like 65 to 70 bucks somewhere there, so.

And now you're getting his new head. Yeah, but

still, I mean, it's punch -counterpunch. Same

thing with Springer, it's one of those fan -favorite

characters. Regardless of price... Regardless

of whether, you know, versus third party company

versus Hasbro, or not Hasbro, but official Transformers

Collectors Club, you know, you're still paying

for what you get, regardless of the price. Now

me, I probably will never buy Warbot, just because,

you know, Springer, but, you know, punch, counterpunch,

if I had the money to put towards it I would,

but unfortunately I don't. Even with the next

fan's project toys, I mean, keep in mind they

sell the swindle and blast off separately. So

even if you don't have the Bruticus combiner

set, which has now shot through the roof in the

aftermarket since they announced this upgrade

kit, and then since they showed off swindle and

blast off as new molds, that set is pretty much

impossible to find for a reasonable price now,

and I found that clearance like a month or so

back and then sold one off. to someone so I mean

yeah it's uh those ones if you want to get like

say the swindle or something like that you're

getting a basic you're getting a basic size figure

like a scout for about 50 bucks or so but you're

getting a whole new engineered design on a much

lower production run and you're getting the part

of the upgrade kits for the Bruticus if you've

got that yeah yeah um I guess moving on, I am

going to be talking about Mighty Mug's Spider

-Man. Very, very cool. Classic blue, black, and

red with the white eyes. The only problem with

mine, I don't know how this happened, but on

the back of him with the red spider that's on

the back of his costume, it's... I don't know

if it's faded or if it's scratched or something.

I don't think it's faded. It's more of a scratch

on there. I don't know why that's there. Maybe

I dropped him or something, or maybe he jumped

off the shelf in the middle of the night. I don't

know. But very, very cool. His head is an entire

web. He's got the eyes that are white with the

black surround on them. And then his head is

red with the spider web thing. They really did

a good job on the paint apps for this. It pretty

much brings it all together. The only thing I

wish they would have done would be to take the

spider web part all the way up around his neck.

They didn't. It's just red. And then on the back,

like I said, is the red smaller spider thing.

And he's blue. One of the things they did with

the chest and the codpiece was where his crotch

should be, it's the spider stuff. But if you

turn him around, it's just a strip of the spider

stuff. It doesn't really cover. It's just like

a strip. And then the rest of the back of his

legs and his ass are the blue color. uh... very

very cool uh... i can't say enough for people

to go check out uh... redhead henry on youtube

uh... he just started saga five for superhero

mugs very very funny stuff uh... very very cool

uh... and yeah spider -man is you know probably

i think i've said this before plenty of times

uh... i'm pretty much muddy mugged out now Oh,

that's nice. Then you'll be able to move on to

other stuff. Well, it's depending on if I can

actually buy other stuff. I'm actually trying

to figure out which ones that I haven't done

of the Marvel ones. I think the only other one

that I haven't done would be Thing. I'm not really

sure. I know there's a couple of the G .I. Joe

ones I haven't talked about yet, but that's alright.

I wasn't dissing your Mighty Mug hobby, I was

just saying in terms of, well, then you can get

hooked on collecting other things. Yeah, eventually.

Like I said before, I did see those 6 -inch pose

or sonic figures. Those look awesome. I don't

know, are those plastic or are they, what kind

of material are they? They're plastic, yes. I

don't have the superposer, but I do have the

neck size down. I do have one of the neck size

down, and I have one of the size, and I have

a bunch of the three and three -quarter ones,

so. Right, yeah. I'd like to get into the Masters

of the Universe stuff, but it's just, oh god,

it's just too expensive. And plus, then you have

to deal with a company that doesn't care about

its customers. No, I don't, because I would get

anything and everything through BBTS. Right.

See, then you deal with a company that does care

about its customers. Well, true. But no, it's

just one of those things where there's just,

right now, there's no Transformers out there

that I want. Outside of, say, like, I have Nemesis

and I have Shatterglass Prime. I don't have the

original Classics Optimus. I would like to, whenever

it does come out, I would like to get War for

Cybertron Optimus. But other than those, and

other than RC and Erotimus, and hopefully Fugitive

Waspinator, other than those ones, there's no

Transformers toys right now that I want. No love

at all for the Power Core combiners that are

coming out? I mean different to them. I respect

that they're there, and that they're there for

pretty much kids, because that's the whole gimmick

behind them. But I don't hate them like I hate

the movie line. It's just not something I'm interested

in. Fair enough. Because, yeah, I mean, those

look pretty sweet. And War for Cybertron might

be coming sooner than you think if you saw the

leaked Canadian information for release dates.

Because it's only a couple months off for those

War for Cybertron toys. Oh, I didn't see that.

I know the game's coming out the day that BotCon

starts, June 22nd. Yeah, I think they're gonna

be out. I'm just gonna double check that right

now, because I think they're gonna be out around

the same time as the... It would make sense that

they would release the toys around the same time

as the game releases. Yeah, it would. Yeah, the

Generations toys are out. The first wave is out

in June. Yeah in Canada anyway, so you guys will

probably get them around the same time. Yeah,

probably It actually surprised me was when I

went to Walmart. Oh god couple By the time this

episode there's it would have been probably a

month ago or so But I went to Walmart and outside

of like shelf warming ROTF stuff that isn't selling

All the new packaging is here the heart for the

receptacons packaging Really you've got the yellow

cards already. Yep Wow, yeah, you know I didn't

realize that those were So what figures are coming

out in those? I don't even been released yet.

I didn't even really look I just noticed that

they were there. I was like, oh what the hell?

Yeah, I don't know any settings. Yeah, I didn't

I wasn't really like looking for the I wasn't

really looking for specific figures that were

in that packaging. I was just like, oh wow, cool.

I was actually looking for other animated stuff,

unfortunately. They didn't have anything. Hopefully

you find an RC and... Oh god, don't get me started.

I want to find the RC, but everybody knows I

don't get out to Toys R Us too often. I wish

that they would at least put the damn thing on

the fucking website already. I mean, the damn

thing's been released for how long now? A month,

two months, something like that? I don't understand

why they can't just put the damn thing on the

Toys R Us website. Maybe they don't have any

left to sell on the website. I don't see why

they wouldn't get more stock in. I mean, it's

a sought -after figure. Why wouldn't they restock?

It's not like we have... I think the way exclusives

work... I may be wrong on this, but I think the

way they work is they tend to order a certain

number or something off the bat, so... Yeah.

Oh, I'll tell you what other Transformers tour

I do want eventually. I do want two of the...

Japanese gold bugs. And yes, I am calling it

gold bug because that's what it looks like. But

the Japanese TFA bumblebee. Aren't they in stock

now, PBTS? Yep, they were last time I looked.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the lug nut, so. Yeah,

the only reason why I'm going with the Japanese

version of the regular bumblebee is because none

of the versions that they released here in the

US Really appeal to me every video review. I've

seen of the original bumblebee paint mode people

said that the paint was kind of you know different

and different colors and Yeah, I'm just gonna

go with the Japanese one because it's it's much

shinier No, that's a good reason to go with it.

So I mean, yeah I'm going for lug nut mainly

because the fact that I want every lug nut toy

that come out but yeah And it's a feasible goal

because I can, I've just started working towards

that goal back in 2000. Wow, 2008? Where was

it? Yeah, Lugnut came out in 2008, didn't he?

Yeah. I just scared myself by the fact that there's

still, that I'll still see him from time to time

on shelves. And it's like, that was 2008. Scary.

You'd be surprised what I've seen. I saw wave

one of animated the other day. I went into pharmacies

like Walgreens and Rite Aid and CVS. I haven't

gone to CVS yet, but I went into the local Walgreens

here. I saw three original animated soundwave

deluxes and two oil slicks in a fucking pharmacy.

I don't know what the prices were for them there,

but I went to Rite Aid, which is the pharmacy

that my mom usually goes to, and they had the

animated activator Optimus Prime. The problem

with going to these places is that the smaller

toys tend to be way more expensive. That Alien

Optimus Prime activator, they wanted $12 for

that thing. They want a deluxe price for an activator.

I can believe that. Well, the problem is that

they're a pharmacy who sells prescriptions and

alcohol. I mean, that place has, that rally that

we go to has like three aisles of booze, which

is kind of scary. but uh... you know they're

pharmacy or smaller company they're not a toy

store they don't know how to price crap as far

as toys go uh... do you want to bring up anything

else i can't really think of anything to bring

up other than for other than just saying i mean

for fellow canadians uh... never mind uh... i

was going to mention certain pricing but that'll

be moved by the time this comes out by the time

the By the time this comes out we'll be buying

power core combiners, I'm guessing. Yeah, probably.
