About this Episode

TFG1Mike, GeneralTekno, and The Goddamn Protoman dive deep into multiple versions of Ravage across different Transformers toy lines. They discuss the ROTF deluxe movie Ravage (its posability, color choices, and the controversial Robot Heroes brown redeco), the Universe version bundled with Hound (its 3D sculpt, tape mode, and connection to G1 continuity), and Shadow Panther from Beast Wars. The episode also touches on Mighty Mugs Shockwave and Jazz pre-orders, Protoman's Halloween costume, and a story about finding an Animated Voyager Optimus Prime at Walmart.

Cliffjumper! Commence countdown! Five! Four!

Three! Hello and welcome to Transformers Toycast

episode 23 .5, and you may be asking yourself

Why the hell are they doing a point five episode

well? Because I have three toys I have to talk

about and I need to use three different episodes

And I wanted to kind of stop like not really

completely stop it But take toy cast back to

its once -a -month incarnation after episode

25, so yeah, that's why there's a 23 .5 Joining

me is general techno hello Hello there and the

goddamn proto man. Hello, sir. Yo, yo, yo. Yes.

Yes What the hell was I gonna say? Oh, yeah Halloween

just passed and one of us Transformers fans on

here was a blasphemer as a costume because You

dressed up as the wrong Prime proto man You want

to tell that story I have some explanations.

So yeah, Halloween came around and me, I'm not

big on Halloween as much as I used to be. And

my girlfriend slash fiance, she was really insistent

on dressing up this year and going to a party.

So I was like, okay, fine. And she went out and

got a really nice, chungly outfit. It was really

sexy and gorgeous and everything. And then as

the week slowly crept onto Halloween, She kept

bugging me, well, what are you going to be? Well,

what are you going to be? And I was like, don't

worry about it. I'll get on it. And so a lot

of different ideas jumbled around in my head.

Pretty much the laziest thing I could do. So

at first, I thought, oh, maybe I'll go as Captain

N. But maybe no one would understand that if

they weren't born in the 80s. I figured, just

walk around with a zapper and a sports jacket.

People would get it. Alright, you know and then

at one point I was like, oh, maybe I'll just

go as a race car driver I mean, I'll just put

on my racing uniform walk around my helmet or

something. It was just stuff that because you

know These Halloween stores man a hundred bucks

for a costume. I mean I rather spend that on

Devastator There's always a lot of making costumes,

I mean like like I always have one made so Well,

that was just it, so technically I did kind of

make a costume. I threw some stuff together.

And it was something that at least I felt would,

you know, it felt good inside doing what I did.

What I pretty much did was I took my Hot Topic

Optimus Prime chest shirt, and for those who

don't know, the Optimus Prime Hot Topic chest

shirt was a line of Hot Topic t -shirts that

existed in 2007. that consisted of G1 characters'

chest designs put onto t -shirts. So they had

Soundwave and they had Hot Rod and they had Trax

and Optimus Prime. And so I put that on, which

was G1 Optimus Prime, and then I took the movie

2007 voice changer Optimus Prime helmet and I

put that on, and then I took the battle arm blaster

transforming movie Optimus Prime arm blaster

and I kept it in gun mode. So I always have it

one optimist prime ish are so it's a weird amalgam

of different optimist primes throughout generations

and I walked around and Oddly enough people dick

-duck it. But then again, it was mostly ignorant

people are just you know, hey transformers are

cool, man That's awesome your costume, you know,

and you know Some of them actually thought I

went out and like bought the costume like that

It was actually individual toys that I owned

already at different times of my life. So You

know, it all conveniently worked in the end and

I saved money. Now I have to call you on something

here because, okay, first of all, obviously we

know there's not a Rodimus helmet running around

out there, okay? But there was a Rodimus t -shirt?

Yes, there was. I do own it. Oh, jeez. Yeah,

what it was, like the Soundwave one was Soundwave's

chest with the tape set. And there was no tape

inside, though. The Rodimus and Trax one, what

they were essentially was Trax was just, it was

blue with the flame deco, even though Trax doesn't

have a flame on his chest. It was just to represent,

I guess, his hood of his car mode. And the Rodimus

one was a red shirt with the yellow flame deco,

but it was done more similar to how the G1 toy

is, where it's like it's really spurred out there.

There is some pictures from TFCon where I'm wearing

it under, but it's not very noticeable. I do

wear that shirt almost every TFCon. I think I've

seen that on you. Yeah, but I usually wear something

over it so it's pretty hard to notice. But yeah,

it's a really awesome shirt. It's a shame that

Hot Topic discontinued those because those are

really like crazy cool shirts. And the Optimus

Prime one's nice too. You get the cab chest and

everything. It worked well for a lazy costume.

I mean, yeah, you can do a lot of stuff cheap

though. I mean like my brother for Halloween

He made it built himself a gladiator costume

on the cheap that actually came out pretty well

so it was just like cardboard and fabric and

pushpins and stuff and Yeah, it turned out pretty

well I'm too old and fat to be dressing up for

Halloween. I just throw on my four or five -year

-old ring -rate robe and then I'm set. I put

some pictures up on Twitter, like it even covers

the face. One thing I did want to bring up is

for not really a toy news item, but I guess it

actually is. At least two of the things I've

been wanting are actually coming out before the

next century. The Mighty Mug Shockwave and Jazz

are set to be released sometime this month. I

have got the order in through BBTS, Big Bad Toy

Store. Actually, the exclusive wave of that set

is also coming with a movie Prime and a movie

Bumblebee. And when I saw those, I just... The

G1 Jazz and Shockwave I'm getting individually.

I'm not getting the wave set. I don't know movie

toys again even the mighty mugs form. I don't

like movie toys I thought that the movie that

the prime actually looked pretty good myself

when I saw the picture Yeah, I think it looks

good, but it's just I don't know Maybe it's just

the g1 in me that I just don't mmm. I don't know

You know what? Personally, I think that a line

like the mighty mugs as much. I'm not I like

the movie line But I think that something like

Mighty Mugs, which is very the final more adult

collector kind of market, I think it should really

more cater to G1 and stuff because it's those

kind of collectors. It's more like not to insult

G1, but it's more the hipster collectors, if

you know what I mean. So I think it's more made

for that market. And I think that by using movie

stuff, it's kind of deviating from that. So I

think like I think instead of getting the bubble

be the movie prime I would have liked I don't

know and not to say erotimus, but I mean like

whatever would be like the next logical move

I would actually think like the next logical

move would probably be like say like a Devastator

and oh, I don't know what else is top tier I

guess, yeah, or Arcee or Prowse, someone that's,

you know, that's still memorable, you know, to

even the most casual of fans. Because, I mean,

The Devastator is definitely up there, Grimlock's

been done, you know, Starscream's been done,

Megatron's been done, Optimus has been done,

Mobley's been done. So, you know, you go to the

more still upper tier characters that are from

those first two seasons of G1. Yeah, well yeah,

Jazz is pretty upper tier, too. That's what I

mean. I can understand why they went about doing

it, like why they wanted to do movies, obviously

because it's a movie line and they want to capitalize

on Revenge of the Fallen making millions of dollars,

but at the same time I find that it kind of is

in the wrong place. I mean, if you want small

cutesy Revenge of the Fallen stuff, it already

exists in the Robot Heroes. where Robot Heroes

hasn't been G1 for quite some time now, which

is a shame. So like, you know, but anyways, yeah.

You know what I would have liked to have seen?

I would have liked to have seen a Hot Rod, Rodimus,

whatever, whichever one you want to use, but

that character design and Blaster, because that

way you could have Rodimus and Optimus and Blaster

and Soundwave. I would love to see a blaster,

actually. I have a soft spot for blaster, and

I think that would really work well with Soundwaves.

No, money modes. Oh, yeah, that's what I meant.

That's what I meant. You did get a blaster, Robot

Heroes. And I find it fascinating how we never

got an accessory of something in cassette mode

for either one of them, like for Soundwave. I

find because the Star Wars one specifically all

of them come with a good amount of accessories

Yeah, where I find we've been pretty thin on

the transformer ones. I mean prime God is blaster

Megatron got his and sound wave got his Yes,

wings exactly which is kind of a given anyways,

you know, like I mean I doubt they would do it

without the wings, you know Yeah, but it's just

I don't know Anyways, yeah anyways, I mean, you

know But again, like you were saying before,

the Mighty Mugs, the Transformers Mighty Mugs

anyway, are more geared towards the adult collector.

And I don't look at the Mighty Mugs and say,

oh, I want to play with that. I look at that

and say, oh, good, a good novelty item I can

add to my collection. It's clearly displayed.

Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, you can have one

or two of them as characters, maybe as sidekicks

or whatever, kind of like what Dogdog does with

his Starscream, which is more than fine. That's

OK. But these things aren't exactly something

you can play with and crash into like any of

the other plants. Yeah, that was something I

was just about to mention. Their durability,

I mean, the plastic, there is somewhat of a hollowness

to it. I'm pretty sure if that took a pretty

high spill from a shelving, I don't know what

would happen. I wouldn't want to test it, but...

Well, one thing I know for sure empirically is

that Starscream is more durable than a glass.

Given the drinking glass shattered and Starscream

was fine aside from maybe a couple of scratches.

He fell onto my glass. Well he needs to stop

drinking all that alcohol. No, no, it's all that

energon from Microbots when they all got drunk

off energon. So before we actually get into the

toys I'm going to play a voicemail from Steve

Megatron. Hey everybody, this is Steve Megatron

Phillips. I'm calling from work, but obviously

I'm not on the show. This is for episode 23 of

Toycast. It's more so a response. I had to do

something that Michael Wilson said and that Mike

was talking about. Optimal Optimus did use all

four modes that the toy has. He used mostly the

beast, Well, he only used it once in the beginning

and then a couple times throughout, but he mostly

used the robot mode. The car mode, he only used,

I believe, twice. He used it in the optimal situation

where he got the form. He blasted through some

rubble on there and used it some other time.

He also used the flight mode a couple of times

as well. You get to see all four modes in optimal

situation, which is the first episode of season

3 in Beast Wars Anyhow, this is Steve Megatron

Phillips signing off. You'll probably hear something

from me again for the favorite toy on the Toycast

special episode 25 So for now Steve Megatron

Phillips signing off Now I would like to bring

that up, we did, I did go back and mention that,

or I did go back and listen to episode 23. Michael

and I did mention that, that he does use, because

Michael wasn't sure if he used all four modes

to, because we were comparing toy accuracy at

the actual show, and he said, oh, he's got a

car mode in the toy. But I don't think he ever

had one on the show and I said, but yeah He did

and then I went back through wiki as we were

recording episode 23 and I found a picture of

it So yeah, Steve, you are right. And so are

we so yeah, whatever you can't prove us wrong

Optimal situation definitely showed all four.

I mean that's the sell the toy. Yeah, I love

that episode and and if anything, I Predominantly

remember the eight mode being used at primal

scream part two so much so that even the 8 -mo

was reaching for a whole bunch of bananas. Wow.

Right? I know that's one... Yeah, continue what

you were going to say. I was just going to say,

I know that it was so much of a toy episode they

even did a bit of tongue -in -cheek referencing

where, is that the episode where Megatron goes,

looks like we have a new optimus to play with?

Not to mention what Rattrap says too. Yeah, he

changed his body make a joke crack about changing

bodies like yeah, like it's yours like gee whiz

Optimus sure learns a new body quickly because

he was changing between all four modes at different

points So we actually get to see in at the end

of beast machines, which we didn't see much in

Beast Wars We get to see just how powerful optimal

optimus's body actually is because we have Megatron

using a full destructive potential So we actually

get to see holy crap that thing. Holy crap primal

He's a pacifist he was it you have to realize

that whole crew was a bunch of scientists before

all of us Yes, they were a bunch of beachcombers

minus the pot. Oh God All right, so I am actually

gonna go first because it's my show I can do

whatever the hell I want to um just kidding I

Actually now I I have defended myself on this

actually nobody's called me on it surprisingly

I have said ever since The movies came around

that I absolutely hate the movie line which still

remains true with one exception The deluxe ravage

from revenge of the fallen I liked ravage in

the movie. I thought it was a really really cool

design. I thought it was a nice Up, I guess you

could call updating from g1 I I don't know not

really but I mean it even though it's completely

different than the g1 character But it's kind

of got the similar thing so I went out and I

got the deluxe ravage And this is the only movie

toy I will own You know at first I had a hard

time posing him because obviously He's a cat.

I had a couple of Cheetors a few years ago and

I had a hard time posing them as well. But I

finally got him to wear that I want him kind

of like crouching slash pouncing or looking like

he's going to pounce on something or someone.

I really like the colors on this guy. He's got

the black, the grayish silver, and then the teal.

and actually the toy has a purple eye whereas

the images I've seen of the actual design from

the movie is actually like reddish -orange I'm

not exactly sure why they did that but I still

like it because my two favorite colors are black

and purple so it doesn't really matter I would

say the only drawback to him is his tail at first

I thought his tail would actually go it would

actually extend all the way up to to where you

could put it almost entirely vertically, as vertical

as it could possibly go in between the two guns.

I think that's my only complaint. I will never

transform him because he basically has no alt

mode. I'm sorry, he doesn't. What the fuck is

a re -entry mode anyway? That's ridiculous. It's

not even a freaking jet! re -entry mode was used

in the movie briefly for exactly 2 .7 seconds.

When he was landing on the ship where the Constructicons

were waiting for him before they went under to,

I guess, rebuild Megatron. You know when he lands

and he's kind of like, it's like he's sparking

and everything and he's bouncing all over the

place? You know like he has that very awkward

land that he does? He was in that re -entry mode.

If you actually pause it, and that's the beauty

of owning the DVD now, If you actually pause

it, you do see the re -entry mode temporarily.

I'm going to have to go back and look for that

now. Yeah, it's a little tidbit. A lot of people

missed it. I actually saw it when I was in theaters.

I noticed it. But when you go back now, you could

really notice it. I think it's just there. But

again, it happened so quickly, you don't even

see it. I think it's really cool that they...

As I said before, it is kind of a G1 updating

because they did... Kind of include his rockets

even though they're machine guns now and instead

of actually being on his legs or on his side

They're actually mounted on top of him. I do

like that I think that's really cool and I think

it's cool that the actual guns can move around

if you want to move them in different positions

Yes, when I saw the first concept art for it,

I remember where I was to I was actually playing

like some Left 4 Dead in Team Fortress like at

a LAN party, but I just popped off, just checked

Transformers news, saw the leaked Megatron Ravage

designs and was like, holy crap, they did one

of the most faithful Ravage updates you could

possibly do and made them look cool in that he's

got his hip cannons. That was like the last thing

I expected them to keep from the original Ravage.

And they kept the hip cannons. That alone said,

okay, whoever's designing these robots, whoever's

designing them is definitely putting in all kinds

of cues and has blood for the franchise. And

as far as the little, I believe it's called neck

alive gimmick, I normally just have his mouth

open. I don't know. It's supposed to be a snapping

jaw, but I don't see where, I mean, you'd have

to be a genius to get this thing to snap. I mean,

you'd have to obviously use two hands, which

I can't, but... To actually get it to snap which

whatever Right with two hands does snap pretty

it does snap pretty well Really done. Honestly,

I would have liked you that's probably one of

my least favorite parts about the mold simply

because of the fact that because of that he doesn't

have a articulated neck at all and That ravage

really could have used the ability to look from

side to side I think the articulation that would

have really helped that toy is also the ankles.

Especially the way that the cat could, like,

because it pretty much, it has the forward, like,

I guess, hinge, you could call it. But if it

had a ball joint down there, wow, like that figure

could have been in a billion different, like,

amazing poses. Yes, that would have been a godly

figure. Yeah, that's what really takes away from

it. Just if it was a ball joint. I mean, it's

an easy mod for a lot of people. But that really

would have changed the figure a lot in terms

of poseability. Considering that it only has

one mode that 90 % of the people, probably 100

% of the people, are going to keep it anyways.

I would also like to bring up the mail order

redeco. I saw an image of this today. I like

the regular version better. I just didn't like

the colors on it. I like the chrome on it. That

looks really cool. Of course, chrome always looks

cool on transformers. But they changed the eye

thing to a yellowish -orange color instead of

purple, which I understand because it's a mail

order. They're trying to make it different. The

TFCon staff actually have a theory on this. Within

the TFCon staff, we're all big Voltron fans,

and we believe that this is Black Lion, like

some kind of nod to it. Just again, the eye color,

the use of red and on the black. If you actually

look at Black Lion from Voltron, from the original

Voltron, and look at the color scheme that's

used on this mail order Ravage, there's a similar

vibe there. Maybe we're just crazy, but it's

a possibility. Yes, I'm looking at that now.

I can definitely see the Black Lion homage in

the... in the color scheme I know it it's because

we're all Voltron fans in in the crew so right

away that was like the first thing that came

to all our minds when we saw it we're like oh

my god yeah exactly what one thing as well though

that I'll say with the colors with the eye when

I first saw the images on BWTF when I saw the

red painted this was before I noticed the yellow

but I was like holy crap they added the glow

effect to it so it's like he's got a glowing

eye that's how i see the red there up there it's

like he's got a bright glowing eye without the

electronics but they managed to simulate the

effect from the from the leaked actual toy pictures

that look actually it looks like they did a really

good job of making it look like the glowing eye

and i'm kind of reminded in some case in some

sense if it's got a orange -ish yellowish eye

well really that's It's kind of par for the course

when you look at how eyes, eye glows tend to

be done in the comics and such with septicons

in that you tend to get a bit of a more yellowish

center color for the eye while the outside is

the reddish color. Yeah, I mean I can understand.

I don't know, when I looked at the picture, even

though I can see the black lion homage in there,

I just, I don't know, I just didn't like it.

What I assumed in the end why they even went

with this mold and the color scheme is that I

think out of the entire Revenge of the Fallen

line of figures that we've gotten thus far of

new molds, I think Ravage probably would have

been the most challenging for Hasbro to think

of a repaint that would have been worthwhile.

I mean, you have to realize, look at all the

repaints we get already of the existing molds.

We always get stealth this or night shade that

or something. I mean, Ravage would have been

a really difficult character. I mean, look at

even this repaint that we're getting. It's still

black. You know, I've got an idea for a ravage

repaint myself It's one I'm actually doing myself

because I got a cheap ravage and had the right

paint colors But what they should do is do an

arctic ravage do human shattered glass ravage

colors But he's got a white body with silver

and blue highlights and for the backstory say

that ravage fled to say like the North say to

the Siberia or something like that to thrown

a nod to his Russian accent and Beast Wars and

then say and then have I don't know, you could

have some sort of snow -themed Autobot of some

sort hunting them down. Really, that would work

pretty well. The problem with that, though, is,

again, we go back to gang molding, and the problem

with that figure of how much black is already,

like, is the predominant color, you know? That's

where, again, it would be a challenge for Hasbro.

By making it a mail away... They're able to put

it in a different price point and that gives

them a chance to put more paint applications

that would normally be on a deluxe price point.

That's where they're able to get away with it

by doing it like that. By keeping it as a deluxe

figure in mass retail market, it would have been

a lot more difficult to make the toy. Say we

did it your way with the white. Considering how

much black is on that figure and now making it

white, the entire figure would be almost completely

white. off -white there was something just add

some silver blue highlight but then considering

the amount of paint that was actually used on

the original toy there's not much left to it

you know what I mean it would it would have been

a very bland figure whatever color they would

have went with you know black is always cool

regard you know it looks nice on whatever figure

you put it on you take it you take a crappy mold

you make it a black repaint oh now it's amazing

now you know so like a lot of people are like

that so So considering that Ravage already started

like that, any direction he would have went in

would have been a bad one for a lot of people.

I mean, they could have made it like Steeljaw,

you know? And it still wouldn't work. Yeah, and

again, there's not that many cats in Transformers

that you could repaint him into, like you said.

Yeah, it would have been very difficult. It would

have been very, very difficult for them. So I

think that it is somewhat the wise route that

they went, why they did this. I'm not angered

by it. I could kind of see why they did it. I

mean, if it would have been like a repaint of

like Bumblebee is like, I don't know, tap out

or something, I would have dug it a little more,

something a little more obscure, but whatever.

I mean, the fact that we have mailways again

is cool. It's the same thing like how I look

at like when the club started doing their exclusives.

The first ones kind of sucked, but I know that

the future looks promising. Myself I'm mainly

hoping that We've got that Canadians have a way

to get this I mean in the end if I'm not able

to Get my hand if it comes out that Hasbro Canada

isn't gonna be releasing this year Then I'll

just make alter alternate plans I'm already planning

on getting because I know that it's gonna be

some time before we get these Nest waves up in

Canada because that's the way distribution works

Because they've still got all the old stuff to

go through like long -haul and grind or But I've

already made plans to get a few of the Nest figures

from someone in the US. So I'm going to have

a couple of the US stickers anyway. So all I

need to do then is just get the Sunway Bumblebee

packed and I'm set. Yeah, there you go. Overall,

this one is a great figure. As we've said, it's

a great updating to the G1 version, as well as

other versions of Ravage. and I like this one

the best out of all the ROTF stuff just because

it's Ravage and really I'm honestly I'm not that

much of a Ravage fanboy I've just kind of gravitated

to it because he's a cool character in the movie

and I gotta say and I gotta bring this up that

robot heroes movie Ravage that brown piece of

shit Ravage is supposed to be black damage. What

the hell is wrong with you Hasbro? Oh, yeah,

yeah, yeah. Yeah, just wait for that You know,

I don't see anything cute about the movie robot

heroes ravage whatsoever now the g1 robot heroes

ravage that's cute, but this thing is Uglier

beyond ugly I disagree. I look at the robot heroes

and go, holy crap, they take an HR Geiger's design,

which was freaky, and then they made it cute.

And as for the brown that you say it is, well,

if you actually have it in person, it's actually

more of a black than a brown. It's more of just

an off -black color than an actual brown. Then

why does every image I ever see of it look like

it's shit brown? Because of light, you know the

official images the official images are never

like the actual toy and coloring I mean look

at what the animated rooms, you know, I mean,

that's a very good example But yeah, I haven't

I don't own it yet Although I I do agree with

techno because of how cute it is I eagerly wait

awaits to get it because it is absolutely adorable

considering what the actual figure with the actual

character, excuse me is actually looks like so

something that's a walking, you know, bag of

knives and just absolutely gruesome. And here

he looks like extremely adorable and something

you actually want to hug, let alone get stabbed

by, you know? It just, I like it, I dig it. Jolt,

much less, but whatever, you know? I think G1

Ravage was complimented a lot better with Optimus

Prime because it looked like Optimus Prime was

pointing at him to sit, you know? And Ravage

actually was sitting, so. Yes, but in this case,

Jolt's got whips, so he's basically like the

animal abuse - animal abuser. Because he's got

his whips all out and stuff. So he's whipping

Ravage. I'm absolutely telling you kidding, so

it's weird. Right, so he's - Jolt's just practicing

animal cruelty. Although, yeah, I mean the robot

here is set not to - just to - I'll just mention

this quickly to avoid going off on a tangent.

The robot hero set is great, and I got jolted

and was pleasantly surprised by how awesome he

looks and think he's the better than the deluxe

Jolt. Yeah, I'm really wanting that G1 RH Ravage,

because that one is cute. This movie version,

no. So I guess Techno, you can go next, or you're

going to talk about... Yeah, sure. I'm going

to be talking about another ravage surprise surprise.

This one is one that came out just last year

I guess it is or no. No, it was actually earlier

this year. Sorry. That's right. It came out earlier

this year Yeah, it was it was the universe version

that Hasbro and Takara released in the universe

and henkey lines that came bundled with hound

now when I first saw this mold that was at TF

condo 7 in the present in the presentation I'd

heard from bot con that there was this new 3d

ravage and that's got me all hyped up and then

I saw the picture at TF con when this was before

they'd shown it to the public yet and it was

holy crap that ravage is godly I'm a Ravage fan

a lot because of Beast Wars actually. I actually

didn't really know much about Ravage until once

I hit university and actually watched the agenda

because it was among the Beast Wars episodes

that I hadn't seen and I was drawn to Ravage.

I loved him. He's a favorite of mine just in

G1 and such and he's really well used in the

Marvel comics as well. But yeah, this Ravage

figure is just awesome because I like the original

figure because it's really posable and stuff

and it's decent cat but this one is really posable

it makes a few sacrifices compared to the original

and posability but it's 3d so it makes up for

all of those because you can actually look at

it from the front and it looks like a cat it's

got posability it still turns into a tape it

still fits in sound wave which was one thing

which was just holy crap And then furthermore,

to have the icing on the cake, it even can still

use the same hip cannons that the original Ravage

could use. So you can take them off G1 Ravage,

put them on this guy, and he looks pretty good

with them actually. I mean, he's got some black

molded cannons on there right now, but they're

very small in comparison to the other ones. You

can get a good look. I actually did a video review.

While back when I got him of just ravage so you

can take a look there but because I do put the

Cannons on there, and then I try and successfully

to get him in my sound wave with another tape

but Which was not expected the one thing I would

say about the universe ravage I know I'm gonna

say this and I don't know if this is the right

person that said this but I was watching somebody

review a hound and ravage I believe it was Pia

And he said he wasn't sure why Ravage was put

with Hound. What I would assume is that because

of the G1 episode... Oh crap. What was the name

of the damn episode? I know everybody is screaming

right now with their iPods saying, oh it's this,

oh it's that. It's more than meets the eye part

two. Yeah, it's right at the beginning. It's

referring to when Ravage was captured by Hounden

and Mirage and what happened was Hounden spinning

the keys and after he told Optimus Prime about

the plan of making a giant hologram of a rocket

base and then Hound drops the keys and then Ravage

takes the keys and amazingly shows his opposable

foot in the cage. Anyways... And then, of course,

Ravage then escapes. And so they kind of, you

know, to celebrate, again, these universe figures

were the 25th anniversary of Transformers. And

to celebrate, you know, the 25th anniversary,

they kind of mentioned that, you know, Hound

is tracking down Ravage after he escaped, you

know, at making a nod to the original Mortimer

meets the eye. Right, exactly. And I thought

that was really, really cool. Obviously, we weren't

going to get another sound wave figure in the

universe line, so I think it was cool that they

put him with Hound. Again, I don't know if he's

the most posable now that we have a certain Takara

version of Ravage. The only reason why I'm bringing

that up is because technically this is the all

Ravage episode, the device label Ravage. While

I don't see that me personally for myself outside

of the fact of having it as a figure, I don't

see why I would ever use the USB part of it.

Oh no, I know, no, I know. I've seen that. I

know. I understand that. But I'm saying as far

as the storage aspects, I have a 1 terabyte external

hard drive. I have two 8 gig mini USB. flash

drives so as far as the as far as the storage

I understand why as far as you know what you

guys are talking about because I've seen that

where you know you you put the thing in and it

actually comes up and says ravage and you you

know you install it on your computer and he basically

it's basically a virtual pet it's basically a

virtual ravage on your computer I understand

that part but I'm saying as far as the storage

capacity I would never use it Well, it's not

the first time that we've gotten a transformer

figure that was some kind of accessory, but we

never really used the practicality of it. How

many people that own music label Soundwave actually

use them as their iPod? Heck, I can't use mine

as my iPod because mine, when I finally got an

SD card for it, didn't play the SD card, so.

Exactly. You know, there's a lot of, and not

to mention he's not really good for scrolling

or anything or looking for songs or playing.

He's limited by, and not to mention if you own

the Rumble and Frenzy, you know, earbuds. They're

absolutely uncomfortable. I own those too. It's

the same thing. Ravage, he's a novelty. That's

his whole purpose. The fact that he's a storage

drive and has that little extra gimmick is nice,

but it's just it's a really awesome looking,

and in a lot of ways, it's a good update for

the character. It's probably the best update

for the G1 version. Everyone wanted CDs or something,

but you know what? This is what works. We've

gotten so many Ravage figures throughout the

years of G1 Ravage, but they've all been tape

cassettes to Homage, the original one. But we've

never really gotten a solid update of the character

in a different kind of... quote, media storage

device, you know, whether it be a tape, CD, or

otherwise. And so what's the next best thing

after a tape or a CD, which would be some kind

of digital media storage thing, whether it be

a SanDisk or an MP3 player of some kind. So it

was smart that they went with a USB. It's a gorgeous

Ravage figure. It's definitely the most amazing

G1 depiction of Ravage thus far in my opinion.

It's very nicely articulated. It tucks in very

well. It hides its USB plug. like dongle if you

want to call it that, very successfully. It comes

in a gorgeous box too, just to mention that.

It's a really good thing, and if you're a G1

fan, I think you deserve it just to yourself

to own it just for the figure, let alone the

fact that it is a USB. No, I understand that,

and my main complaint about the USB part of it,

it's not even the fact that it's, oh my god,

it's a Ravage, and it's not like I said it's

a USB. I can see that. My main complaint is the

storage capacity. Now... If you really want storage

capacity, though, just get one of the knockoffs

that's being made. You should know by now from

being on this show and from talking to me that

I do not do knockoffs. I'm sorry, I don't...

Yeah, I'm just saying. With something like this,

I mean, the storage capacity is a way I can kind

of sell it to myself. I've got them on pre -order,

but I use that as more of a... That's more of

an excuse than anything, because I'm still well

aware I'm not going to use him to store anything.

If Ravage even held a terabyte of space, I probably

wouldn't use him for that reason. Because to

me, he's still a Transformer figure, you know?

He's something that belongs on a shelf, not in

my pocket, you know what I mean? Or he belongs

in your USB drive so that you have a virtual

Ravage. Oh yeah, or he belongs attached to my

computer. which is because my girlfriend loves

it so much that she wants to get one too, possibly

the Tigatron. So I might pick up another set

and get an extra Ravage just so I can have one

close by. Now I must say, now that you've brought

that up saying that you use them as a toy and

not really as something that you can take with

you on the go, if this USB Ravage did come with

one terabyte, there was a situation with me where

I had to actually take files from my computer

because my internet was down three weeks ago.

Actually put them on my one of my flash drives

and take them to my mom's house now if I had

this thing I Would definitely use it I would

put probably almost everything on it if it had

the one terabyte of storage I would probably

put everything on it as a as a like a like a

very last backup thing just in case and I would

think I'm sound wave because obviously you transform

you put them in your pocket or you're sure health

you have one of those shirts that has a pocket

like up your up near your left left arm or whatever.

You know, I would think I was Soundwave. But

you know, that's a whole other deal. As far as

the novelty aspect, I agree. He is the best updating

of G1 Ravage. The virtual pet thing is very cool,

but again, it's a gimmick. It's a side effect

as far as that. I would probably have him sitting

here on my desk and that's it. Again, the storage

capacity is what is really stopping me from...

I don't know. I mean, I know it's still a little

tidbit, but go ahead. Let me point something

out ravage turns into in g1 the g1 toys a micro

cassette Micro cassettes don't really have all

that much storage and especially not back when

he was when his toy was designed back in 70s

They wouldn't have had that much storage so really

you could argue that it's fateful update in terms

of the fact that he's got the equivalent of Casual

limited storage for as a flash drive like if

I need my terabyte of storage. That's what my

big That's what my network storage job box downstairs

is for that. That's an interesting insight now

that you think about it. That is true because

micro cassettes were originally invented for

music companies to show singles of specific songs

for different companies to advertise their musicians.

So they could only hold a single song of three

minutes usually. So that is a very smart insight

of anything. The same thing only replaces song

with movie. I agree. I'm not saying that I don't.

I just wish it was something even if it was like

maybe four or even eight, you know, eight gigs

instead of just the two. I understand that that's,

you know, and that is a good point, techno, as

far as, you know, the micro -cassette stuff,

but I don't know, I just can't justify, at this

point right now, maybe hopefully down the line

I can get in, but right now I can't justify spending

50 bucks on a USB... storage device that I would

never really use for actual storage Right Now

you know what I think would be a clever idea

to do with this ravage First of all bat first

back him up just to make sure that you don't

delete any of the programs that come loaded on

him Because I'm good I'd be doing some tinkering

with this idea if I go through with it But go

through based on the files I load up set him

up so that if I put him in a Mac, he'll load

up Transformers more than meets the eye, the

three parter, and start playing it in the Mac

version of VLC, which I'd have pre -installed

on there. Do that with the PC version as well,

and do that with the Linux version as well, so

that way you have a ravage that you plug in and

he plays more than meets the eye one to three.

Once you plug him in automatically. It's like

how when I saw that they do when I saw that news

just the other day that they were putting Transformers

revenge of the fallen they're selling it on USB

drives in Japan I was like, oh man, what a wasted

opportunity They should have done a special device

label ravage with revenge of the fallen on it

It wouldn't be a storage device. It would be

you buy the movie and you get this transformer

with the movie as well I mean, if they're selling

these Optimus Prime and these Skids and Mud Flap

exclusives with DVD releases, and these are like

a couple hundred bucks apiece, what's $100 for

Revenge of the Fallen and Ravage? Yeah, but the

problem with that is, you know, I see your logic

with that. The problem with that is the fact

that the stores that these exclusives are at,

they pay. for what exclusives they want. So I'm

betting like say Walmart or Target or FYE or

whatever store that has exclusives that you want

to pick. I bet that their people and Hasbro's

people sit down or Paramount or whoever you want

to talk to. I bet they have a meeting and say,

okay, what are you all going to allow us to choose

from exclusives? Okay, okay, this is what we'll

pay to get this or this is what we'll pay to

get that so that that's why that I'm betting

that that would have never happened Well, I'm

not even talking about how about Hasbro doing

this because the expensive exclusives are over

in Japan where they're doing a really expensive

optimist primary deco with this thing like That's

in going to be a lot of people importing it they

know that there's an import market for this ravage

because he comes loaded with software that Defaults

to English in North American computers and it

actually calls him ravaging and not Jaguar So

they know there's an import market that's bringing

this thing in so I mean, if they put Revenge

of the Fallen on this thing, sold it at maybe

Lawson's or one of the Japanese retailers or

something as an cheap exclusive, maybe like the

equivalent of 60, 70 bucks here or something

like that, you know, before import fees and stuff

like that, then really, people would be paying,

people would pay good money to get a ravage that

had the Transformers movie on it. And my only

other issue is, I didn't watch anything. I watched,

I read on TFW, I read Gogdog's post, the link

that you had given me, and he said in there that

you have to have a good amount, you know, you

basically have to have one USB port basically

free with nothing on either side of it because

obviously, you know, outside of the actual...

Yeah, outside of the actual donkle that goes

into the computer, the actual outer part is huge.

So I would probably use it in my front USB ports

that I have here. The only problem with that

is my front USB ports are not connected. So when

I bought my computer, dumbasses didn't connect

them. So I'm going to have to... Yeah, right.

Not for me it isn't. I'm more of a software guy

than going into motherboards and all that other

crap. But anyway. Well, it's basically just a

matter of take these wires and plug them into

this piece here on the box. But anyway, getting

back to the original choice of yours, which is

Universe Ravage, outside of the device label,

which all three of us can agree is the best representation

of G1 Ravage as far as the actual toy, would

you say Universe is the next best one? Yes, I

would. I have two of them. I've got the Henkei

one as well because I ended up getting both hounds.

So I've got one upstairs and one down here in

front of me that I'm fiddling with. Although

in this case, this is just a matter of opinion

because there's barely any differences. The only

real difference between the two is the shade

of silver that they use on the legs. And to be

honest, I think that the universe version, I

like that better than the Henkei version. The

universe one is the one that stays on the shelf.

Now isn't the hand cave version, doesn't the

silver on that have, isn't that chrome, not actual

silver? No, it's not chrome. No, the chrome on

the hatch is on the ravage. No, I'm talking about

a ravage. There's no chrome on the ravage. Oh,

there is? Yeah, there's no chrome on the ravage.

It's a dark silver paint. It's darker than the

universe version. Alright, well, do you have

anything else to say about him? Because if not,

we're going to take a break. No, only thing I

can say is the only real negative is the way

the mouth is sculpted is almost birdish in terms

of the pose it is. That's the only real negative

of it that the mouth sculpt is a bit weird, but

otherwise... Alright, we will be right back.

Transformers! From across the galaxy to battle

the evil Decepticons comes the ultimate Autobot

hero, Optimus Prime. Transforming from big rig

into powerful robot, he's the greatest Autobot

warrior of them all. With a hidden battle platform.

Twin rocket launchers to double the damage. And

a latent sound power pack for real battle action.

And when Optimus talks, I am Optimus Prime. The

Decepticons will run for cover. Transformers!

Robot Sensor! Transformers Generation 2. Optimus

Prime is all you see here. We are back and Proto

Man is up next. What is your pick, sir? Well,

Ravage. I always felt is one of those characters

that always kind of did firsts in the Transformers

toy lines. I mean in Alternators he was the only

character to get two representations. He had

two separate toys. He was the smallest Transformer

toy ever made in world's smallest ravage. He

was the first ever Walmart exclusive in Beast

Wars when he was Trypredicus Agent. So I figured

I'd go with a Ravage toy that represents something

very important in Transformers that was also

a first. And that was Evil Black Repaints. And

so my choice is Shadow Panther, which was later

on retconned to be Ravage or Trypredicus Agent,

depending on which side of the shore you are.

Well, Shadow Panther was a repaint of the first

Cheetor toy and was released exclusively in Japan

originally when Beast Force came out over there.

And prior to him, there was no such thing as

an evil black repaint. There was a black repaint

and that would be something along the lines of,

say, Skywarp. and he was evil and he was a repaint

but he wasn't an evil black repaint of a previously

existing good character. Same goes for say like

Stepper who was a black repaint of Jazz and he

was a target master. He was a black repaint but

he wasn't an evil black repaint. So Shadow Panther

was the first one of those to actually do that

and you know it would later on spawn zillions

more of that idea to come. He was kind of like

the first one and I remember when this toy was

first shown and it was toyarchive .com which

had it, this is like way back in 97, and he had

the first like pictures of this figure. Everyone

went nuts like hoping that this figure would

come like you know over here and even me I was

like oh I gotta get this figure you know that's

a black repaint of Cheetor it's amazing and I

would have never thought that The concept of

a black evil repaint would be so common now today

to the point where we almost joke about it. Where

there's black evil repaints of almost every single

major Optimus Prime character. We get black evil

repaints of even secondary characters. I know

Hot Rod had his share. I don't know. He's not

a secondary character. Come on. You're going

to incite some riots once people hear that. But

either way, it's just, you know, like, this figure

was, you know, it still is incredible. I love

the fact that, again, because it was Japan, there's

a little more paint added on it than you would

normally have on, say, the Cheetor one. So they

actually added gray coloring and stuff to the

gut gun. It's a really nice looking figure. They

used red for the eyes, they used yellow for the

blue areas that would normally be on Cheetor,

and black for all the yellow areas, and a lot

of silver in just the perfect areas that work

for it. I think at one point, this figure was

available to America, but it was through It was

through Hasbro's online collector club site that

existed back in 1997. He was offered as a Tri

-Prenicus agent, but he was on a very limited

run. In the end, it never got a mass release

in America. Anyways, it's a great figure. I wouldn't

suggest picking it up. for, you know, shits and

giggles. It's more that I suggest that if you're

someone who likes owning a Transformer toy that

has kind of like a history behind it or an importance,

this is one of those figures because now every

time you pick up your Scourge or your Nemesis

Breaker or your Black Rodimus or any kind of

any of those evil black repaints, none of those

would have existed today if not for Shadow Panther

paving the way for that. Just another comment,

Proto Man. I thought you were actually going

to mention something else in the pre -show chat

in terms of what this was a first of. But was

this also not the first, correct me if I'm wrong,

but was this also not the first toy that Hasbro

had as an online exclusive? See, there was one

that came before it. Because I know they did

Lyle Convoy as well, so I wasn't sure if it was

the first. There was one that came before it,

and that was Tigatron. The Japanese Tigatron.

What happened was Hasbro's online collector store

service offered, before the Shadow Panther one,

it offered Japanese Tigatron. And what Japanese

Tigatron was, was our Tigatron came in a cream

colored white, while Japan's Tigatron was a vibrant

white white. And it was offered, yeah, that was

the first one. Then we got Shadow Panther, then

we got Lio Convoy. If that's the case then you

well you're gonna have to update the TF wiki

then because I don't see anything about that

Really? Yeah, I just looked at this now because

this is the first I'd heard of that. I always

thought it was Ravage that was the first one

but just looking at this here it mentions the

Dakar version, but it doesn't actually say anything

One moment, I'll actually have to find some information

on it because I guarantee 100 % that it was available.

A friend of mine actually picked it up because

he couldn't find Tigertron in his area and he

settled for that one that was available on the

store. Uh, one sec. Okay The shadow panther as

far as I would personally I would give it a like

a nine out of ten because historically it's Historically,

it's important as a toy itself The mold has always

been a great mold the cheetoir mold has always

been amazing making a black only makes it better,

you know, yeah, so It's a great, you know Price

-wise if you could find it for under I would

say 30 bucks go for it because he usually goes

for about now like between 25 and 30. Yeah, you

find it But yeah like Go for it. You know like

it's a great figure. Yes I must I was gonna wait

until I actually talk about this this figure

in the next episode But I'm I must recount my

tale of going to Walmart this past week I went

to Walmart just to... I don't even know what

I originally went in there for, but every time

I go to my Walmart or my Target, because those

are the only two stores that I actually browse

the toy aisles in, because I don't go to the

malls or anything like that, but... So I'm in

Walmart, and I'm looking around, looking around.

I was actually trying to see, just to compare

Walmart and Target, when I went to get my ROTF

Ravage from Target, they had three available.

Which, actually, I bought all three and took

them. I took the other two back, but anyway.

So I'm going to Walmart to just kind of compare.

And lo and behold, they have two and a half pegs

of animated stuff. So they have, so I'm looking

around, looking around. They had a couple of

jazzes. They had a couple of Savartron mode ratchets.

So then I start looking down below the pegs.

I look in the actual lower shelves and they have

like some Voyagers there I see a Voyager Grimlock

and I see a Voyager Cybertron mode Megatron and

right in front of my face I almost fell over

in the store I saw the Optimus Prime Earth mode

Voyager and I was like I just like froze for

two seconds thank God no little kid came in front

of me and got it right before me Myself and the

lady that actually stocks the toy aisle for that

Walmart were the only two in the aisle. And my

jaw literally hit the floor because I have never,

ever seen the Voyager Optimus Prime in this area.

Ever. I've never seen it. Every time I would

go to either one of the stores, the Walmart or

the Target, it's always a bunch of fucking stupid

-ass lockdowns and lug nuts. lug nut especially

was a shell former here him and I'm not saying

that because I don't like the character it's

just it's the truth every time I would go into

target there would be six or seven lug nuts with

two or three cyber charm of Megatron's Yeah,

look that seems to be a shelf warmer from what

I've noticed although out here I've still seen

primes and in fact the Animated figures are actually

starting to make their way to winners, which

is up in Canada It's a second run They get all

the stuff that other stores can't sell pretty

much, right? Right, and I've already seen primes

showing up there and there's primes that have

been shelf warming at there's the waves up to

blitzwing we never a lot of places like the Toys

R Us that I go to they never got anything past

a blitzwing if memory serves and they've actually

still got some stuff from those from those waves

shelf warming as we speak right so so I'm slowly

picking up my mouth and making sure I'm not drilling

all over the place over this thing. So I grab

it and I look at it and I go and I look at the

price and I'm like, oh, jeez, why isn't this

on clearance or on sale or something? It was

the original $20, which, okay, fine, it's Optimus

Prime. I don't mind spending $20. I had an extra

$20. I was like, okay, fine, I have to get this.

I had actually walked from my house to Walmart,

which is about maybe two and a half miles. Oh

my goodness. Well, that's in walking terms. In

driving terms, it's like maybe two minute or

five minute drive from my house. But as far as

walking, it seems like it's two and a half miles

away. So I walked up there. And I was tired as

hell, so after I got him, I sat down on a bench.

I had taken my backpack off, which was empty,

by the way. And I had all my stuff in there,

because I didn't know where else to put it. I

wasn't wearing, you know, shorts or pants or,

you know, well, I was wearing shorts or pants,

but I wasn't wearing any of the pockets. That's

what I'm meaning to say here. And I had all my

stuff, my wallet and my phone and anything else

in my backpack. One of the dumbass employees

walks by me and says, oh, you didn't put anything

in your backpack, did you? I'm like I'm just

sitting there just with a shit grin on my face.

I'm like no no no look That's the only thing

I'm getting right there. I don't have anything

else That's it, and he's like going off like

oh God this is and people wonder why I don't

go out This is exactly friggin why because the

stupid fucking people like this Anyway, so I

got him and he's in the other room, and I'll

be talking about him next time So back to Mr.

Shadow Panther there, do you have anything else

to say about him, Protoman? Not really, it's

just a great figure. A lot of people don't know

that it's Ravage, but it actually is him. It

was actually retconned out in the continuity

that it would end up being him. I just heavily

suggest him. I mean, I think out of all the Ravage

figures, he's one of those historical ones that

have very, you know... big importance. It's a

nice looking figure. It's definitely one of the

better ones from the Beast Wars line. Before

we actually go into the official closing I would

like to mention the Transformers Toycast episode

25 call in or email in thing I've been trying

to promote. I know I'm not going to get 20 people

or 20 messages from people calling in saying

what they're Favorite you know most favorite

overall ever TF toy is basically what we're looking

for is a one minute or less voicemail clip or

email or mp3 file from you the TF fan telling

us what's your favorite TF figure TF toy is ever

now this could be something that you know maybe

it was your first Transformers toy Maybe it's

a character that you have a certain affliction

for or something. Doesn't have to be anything

too elaborate. The reason why I wanted to keep

them one minute or less, actually I wanted to

keep them all at one minute, I was originally

just going to have the entire episode 25 be a

voicemail show with fans calling in and I would

just do an intro and outro. I realized I'm probably

not going to get that. Currently we have... I

think five or six voicemails to go through. So

please email in or call in. The email address

to email those to is tftoycast at gmail .com.

The voicemail line is 502 -526 -5821. Like I

said, just make sure you say what your name is

and that's pretty much it. If you want to use

a screen name, if you're on Twitter, or, you

know, wherever else, that's more than fine too.

The deadline for this is November 10th, so as

of this episode, you know, as of this episode,

when it airs, it will air tomorrow, which is

the 5th of November. You have five days to get

your voicemails and MP3 files in. And again,

that's 502 -526 -5821 for the voicemail, and

tftoycast .gmail .com for the email. My only

comment with the whole favorite toy bit is just

the fact that I'm one of those people who has

a ridiculously difficult time Calling something

a favorite. I know I Understand that and I understand

a lot of people are gonna have that problem.

I completely understand that however My main

point is like I said what we're looking for is

since technically we are still in the 25th year

or 25th anniversary whatever the whole point

is episode 25 25 years of Transformers, 25 minutes.

I seriously doubt that I'm going to have the

episode, I'm sorry to keep cutting you off, but

I seriously doubt I'm going to be able to have

the episode right at 25 minutes. Well, if you

want, I don't mind recording one for you. Oh,

that's more than fine, if you want to. I sent

one in myself actually. Yeah, I mean anybody,

any Transformers fan can send one in. The old

co -hosts can send one in and if they want to

it doesn't really matter as long as you're a

Transformers fan that has toys. You know I was

I wasn't saying anything about content I was

more just saying that for some people like me

Actually being able to decide on a favorite is

tough I ended up going with one that We is up

there because I don't have a favorite favorite

per se I've got like a whole bunch of stuff that's

tied for different reasons But right I know but

but like I said the whole I mean, I know it's

hard for people to pick favorites Obviously there's

25 year history of these toys. I get it. It's

it's very hard. My point is because it's the

25 year anniversary and because it's episode

25 of our show kind of like Like I said a second

ago, you know, maybe it was a toy that you maybe

it was your first ever transformer Maybe it was

something someone gave to you. Maybe it was something

maybe it was a character like Mr protomus over

there, uh, you know, uh, you know, oh God, don't

even get me started. That would be one long cuss

show for me. Uh, anyway, but, but I mean, this,

you know, the idea is more of a remembrance type

of thing more than picking one over the other.

That was the look back. Yeah, basically. Yeah.

That was the idea that I was trying to have for

this. And I get I'm not going to get, you know,

20, 30, whatever, you know, amounts of voicemail.

I mean, I can just fill the rest of the show

with discussion anyways. So it's not like it's

going to be an issue. Try to get Dog Dog to do

something about Rosanna and how she's going to

save G1. It's funny you mention that I did post

over it I did make a thread for toy cast over

at TFW and I think so far I'm the only one that's

actually posted in it so you know Again, I have

nothing against any of the main TFW people like

dog dog like Vangelis I have nothing against

those people whatsoever, but they are like sowing

their own little click, you know I don't want

to, I don't want to... You've been shipped every

show. Well, okay, well, you know, whatever. But,

I mean, you know, it's like, you know, I follow

them on Twitter, whatever, you know, if they

don't want to follow me back, that's more than

fine. You know, I don't know, I can't make people

call in if they don't want to do it, they don't

want to do it. I would like people to call in

because I want them to be a part of the show,

you know, but if they don't want to, they don't

want to. You know, I don't know. Thank you for

joining us here on Transformers Toycast. There

are several ways to get in contact with us or

leave feedback for the show. The first is you

can visit www .geekcastradio .com and find all

the other GCN podcasts there. I believe, Steve,

as of this episode, the forums should already

have been updated, but the new web address for

the forums is www .predaconempire .com slash

nexus, and get all your GCR and transformer discussion

topics there. Third, you can leave the show feedback

on iTunes. I did not check it this time. I will

check it for the next episode. I know Steve had

said that... Pretty much all the shows now are

getting more listeners and actually TFG1 podcast

is actually going down in listeners Which you

know we're not I'm not actually putting any new

content out for that show so I can understand

that Before that you can visit www .earth -2

.net It's a great geek culture website and in

their forums over there you can find our shows

in the self -promotion section and the fifth

is the email address which is tftoycast .gmail

.com We now have a voicemail line. Call us and

leave us your thoughts on each episode. Be sure

to say which show you're leaving a message for

and your name. The number is 502 -526 -5821.

You can follow us on Twitter. The show name there

is TF Toycast. Mine is TFG1Mike and Techno1 is

your Twitter. General Techno. It's back to what

it normally is. Thank God for that. And Proto

Man, what's yours? Proto Man X. Yes. Proto Man

with an X at the end. Have you ever found that

one guy that stole Proto Man? I found him. He

doesn't even use Twitter, which is the biggest

waste of them all. It's funny, there's actually

two Proto Mans I follow on Twitter. One being

Proto Man185, who draws another webcomic. There's

only one, buddy. Well, he is 185, you're X, so

I think X ranks higher. Yeah. Damn right. I'm

a variable. You're safer. We hope you enjoyed

this episode of Transformers Toycast and wish

you'll join us next time. For now, I am TFG1Mike

with GeneralTechno and the god damn Protoman

and this is what we're going to be signing out

with. Oh wait, no that's not... Where's that

stupid clip? I know I put it in here somewhere.

There it is. Here we go. Autobots! Transform

and roll out! See you next time, folks!
