He-Man and She-Ra Companion Guide Announcement

Optimus Solo. Hello. Hello. And today we are

going to be giving you some He -Man She -Ra news.

We are still in pre -production on getting episodes

57, 58 to 82 done. We've recorded through episode

62 at the point of this recording, but some news

has come out over the last few weeks and months

since we recorded the first content update that

we gave you, and the news is that, and where

was this, you know, when did we start this show?

2012? Where was this thing four years ago, right?

I know of this guy through Mike Dodd on this

Weekend Geek. The guy's name is James Etok. He's

a huge MOTU pop fan. All that stuff with Princess

of Power, She -Ra, He -Man, all that stuff. And

he's been in the fandom for years and years and

years and has done a whole bunch of stuff. So

he is putting together a He -Man and She -Ra

complete guide to the classic animated adventures.

This is coming from him and Dark Horse. It will

be released. August 30th of this year, from 1983

to 1986, He -Man and his twin sister Shira and

entranced a generation of boys and girls all

around the world with their animated adventures,

offering not only cartoon excitement, but also

important moral guidance. Now Dark Horse Books

is proud to present the first ever official companion

to the classic series, featuring over 500 pages

of fascinating story synopsis, animation process,

and trivia for every single episode of He -Man

and the Master's Universe, as well as She -Ra,

Princess of Power. So, there's an image on James'

Facebook of this and it says, Yeah, I want this

thing. Yeah, that would have been helpful before

we started this so yeah Well, they didn't put

it into production until last year this year.

So what are you guys waiting for? Huh? It was

like Yeah, I know come on wait for you know this

should have been out there on the on the 30th

anniversary or something or other it's also listed

as a partial author on two other He -Man related

books, The Unofficial Cartoon Guide to He -Man

and the Masters of the Universe, as well as Alan

Oppenheimer, Art of He -Man and the Masters of

the Universe, which is also written by Alan Oppenheimer.

Right. That book's only $98, by the way. It's

what? The Alan Oppenheimer book is $98. $98.

This one is $33. $33, yeah. $33 .99. I'm absolutely

looking forward to this. I can't wait to get

this. I'm sure when it does come out, we will

have another special episode for you guys going

through this. Honestly, this is probably going

to help us through the rest of She -Ra. In James

Itaka, you should probably send us a free copy

for reviewing it. I might be able to talk to

Dark Horse. I don't know if James will do that,

but I actually want... because they were doing...

I don't know if it's a Kickstarter or GoFundMe

or something. There's one of those campaign pages

somewhere. I've been trying to find it before

we recorded this thing, so I haven't been able

to find it yet. But I did send him a Facebook

message, and I'm like, we would love to have

you on the show to talk to you about this. He's

like, oh, okay, cool. You know, so I'm working

on getting him... Getting him for us for an interview

to talk to him about About the book and about

his fandom and all that stuff with with the franchise.

So The book doesn't come out until August but

you know Hey, any publicity is good publicity,

right? It's true. Let's see what happens. So

So, yeah folks just wanted to give you a little

thing on that and like we said, you know Very

excited for this new official cartoon companion

guide. I honestly can't wait to see this thing.

It'll be interesting to see what he dug up. Yeah,

it looks so so good As I've said, you know, we

are working really really hard getting the rest

of sheer recorded and I think if my math is right

episodes are probably Gonna start rolling out

again somewhere around the middle second week

third week of August somewhere around there So

we'll have to wait and see. Uh, yeah. No, I would

say, you know, it's probably, you know. We'll

figure that out off air. 20 some odd episodes

between now and between August and December,

yeah. So, all right, folks, that's going to do

we get out of here? A lot of possible He -Man

and She -Ra content coming out. Oh yeah, because

next year is going to be the year of the new

adventures in 2002 series. There we go. Alright
