About this Episode

TFG1Mike and OptimusSolo announce the return of Myths of Etheria in August with episode 57, kicking off the year-end run of She-Ra reviews. They discuss the upcoming He-Man and She-Ra Filmation Cartoon Guide by James Itok, releasing August 30th, which will improve their episode plot descriptions going forward. The hosts confirm plans to conclude She-Ra by New Year's Eve 2016, then move into two seasons of Powers of Grayskull in 2017—New Adventures of He-Man in late spring/early summer and the 2002 cartoon in fall—before the podcast concludes after nearly five years.

Time for She -Ra! Hello, folks, and welcome to

the Powers of Grayskull series podcast. I am

TF2 and Mike. Joining me is... Optimus Solo.

And he has no idea what the hell we're doing

here, folks. But this is our third content update

to let you know that in August... Not in July.

Peas don't grow in August. They only grow in

July. But in August, the Powers of Grayskull

series, Myths of Etheria, episode 57, will be

returning. It will be kicking off our year -end

run of She -Ra, Princess of Power. Wanted to

give you guys one more update before we get to

episodes. because we just finished recording

episode 67, which is the penultimate episode

for season one of She -Ra for us here at Powers

of Grayskull. And in that podcast, I'm not gonna

spoil anything, but in that podcast, I mentioned

to Kevin, wow, these plot synopsises really suck.

And it's not because of anything he, I'm sure

Kevin could have written out. you know, a whole

Wikipedia paragraph better plot synopsis than

the ones that he's found online, but I'm here,

we're here to talk about the He -Man and She

-Ra filmation cartoon guide by James Itok, who

is coming, it's coming next month in August,

it'll be here August 30th, and Kevin's gonna

get his hands on that, we're gonna go through

it, we're actually gonna do a special episode

on it, and hopefully we can get James on here

to talk to him about it, but... we will have

from episode 68 or 69 onward to the end of She

-Ra a much better... Plot descriptor for her

and I'm not blaming, you know, I'm not blaming

you here. I'm just stating the facts. So we got

that coming out. So August 30th folks, head on

over to Amazon, go to bookstores, wherever you

want to get the He -Man and She -Rod cartoon

guide. The link to Amazon will be put into this

post. But yeah, Myths of a Theory is coming back

to make our, our, our end run. We're going to

make our, our own. Castle running 12 par sex

nice See see what I did there. So be ready. I'm

excited miss of a theory. Yeah, I almost said

14 So yeah, we're gonna make our end run around

Shira Shira the Shira episodes will be concluded

by New Year's Eve 2016 here and the next year

as I've said in the previous updates We're gonna

have two seasons of Paris Grayskull. We're gonna

have a season during the late spring, early summer

for the new adventures of He -Man. And then later

in 2017. Somewhere around probably September,

October, November, right before the holidays,

we're going to have our 2002 reviews air and

by December 31st, 2017, this show will have been

going on for almost five and a half, six years.

Yeah, well, we started episode 0, I think, in

2011, and then episode 1 was 2012, because we

were tying into the 30th anniversary of He -Man.

Gotcha. So essentially, yeah, 2012, so it's five

years, but yeah, by the time it ends, it'll be

five full years of a podcast. Nice. Well, nobody

can say we left any stone unturned. Yeah, no

one can say we attempted to move a lake with

our bare hands. Nope. Anything you want to bring

up before we get out of here? No, I think just

be ready for some more She -Ra. Yep, it's coming.

Quite literally. By the power of Grayskull, you

all have the power. Thank you. It's nice to meet

you. But could you tell me what I'm doing here?

Yeah, what are we doing here? Oh, there's big

trouble, Orko. The Crimson Council has disappeared.

Hoppin' hoobies! That's trouble. We need your

magic badly, but I can send you back, She -Ra.

No reason for you to get involved. Orko is my

friend. I'll stay. Aw, thanks, She -Ra.
