So without further ado, the listener feedback.

Dun, dun, dun. Dun, dun, dun. So this goes back...

Couple weeks There is on the the the media episode

where we're talking about Best Buy Know the death

of the CD. Yeah death of the CD and okay school

media and whatnot Bread which I think you kind

of commented on it on the the Facebook page where

Brad says that the US is the largest market for

CDs in the world and I don't see one store chain

in America phasing out CD sales as the death

of them because you can still buy blank cassettes

and VHS tapes which you can buy blank CDs which

people still use like my wife when she goes to

the gym has to create custom CDs but Well and

because a lot of people might know at the foot

at the Facebook page I kindly I kindly brought

the fact that we weren't saying that CDs as a

storage medium we're going away it was I'm sorry

for some reason maybe it's just my age or whatever

but like CDs to me that's like that's music if

I say a CD That that's music. That's like kind

of like my parents or my grandparents saying

Nintendo when they mean all video games yeah,

like Like I, you know, it's just like that. That's

obviously I know there are data CDs and things

like that. But I guess when we were having the

conversation, we just kept saying CDs are going

away. I meant we should have been a little more

straightforward with it. But I the article that

we were quoting and from my from my personal

stand taken, I believe yours to see was it was

it was audio CDs were going away, not CDs as

a storage. um so but yeah no i and it's not just

best buy i mean the article also referenced the

fact that target was getting ready to drop uh

or may drop audio series as well um and honestly

i can see that and no uh i don't you know the

u .s I don't have any numbers on the US CD sales

or audio CD sales or anything like that So it's

like don't know for the largest market. I would

probably assume that we are not the largest market

for CDs, but Given how far we lag behind the

rest of the world when it comes to internet stuff,

you know, we might be But I'm not about to go

find out, you know So he did bring up an interesting

thing though. When's the last time you saw a

VHS like a like a blank one? I think like, you

know The the office max office Depot like staples

type stores was the last time I saw them like

you could buy blank ones in the store Okay, so

that's the other thing I brought up too. Is that

my my my exposure to Electronics is is outside

of s buys is limited Like if Best Buy doesn't

carry it, like it doesn't exist to me. Well,

it might as well not. I mean, most people don't

actually use VHS tapes anymore or audio tapes.

I know that when I when I worked at Best Buy

in 2015, that was the last, at least at my store,

that was the last Christmas holiday season where

they were going to carry VHS players in the store.

I don't know if that actually carried out because

I wasn't there for the following Christmas But

I believe they were on their way out like they

they had like the the VHS combo player Yeah,

they actually has those but they didn't have

just a standalone VHS player anymore And obviously,

I don't know the last time I'm assuming the VHS

is dead as far as being able to buy a movie on

VHS Yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat. I honestly

don't I Couldn't even tell you the last time

I saw a VHS tape though like of any movies was

when I was hanging out with TFG when Mike for

his wedding Sorry Mike so so moving on to the

the next piece we have Had something go wrong

oh no no uh the butthurt first look over reactions

okay uh which again uh brad commented on we need

some more we need some more commenters love love

love brad's comments though i do this is yeah

this is this is what we're talking about guys

we we and we're this is that these are the type

of episodes we're gonna try to Tried to do and

we have a number of episodes in the like in the

past. We're going to have these feedback episodes.

So your rebuttals can get can get up here as

well. So, yep. Yep, definitely. So he says, I

think the main problem is trailers coming out

months before a film's release and the CG isn't

finished. The studios seem to need to show us

what's to come, even if it's unfinished. And

another example was set picks of like the new

RoboCop suit. Before it was enhanced on screen

with CG like set picks Should be seen as exactly

that but are often wrongly mistaken is what we

will see in the final version of the film Yeah,

I believe your reference like the bat pod and

Like the no, what was the was it? Is the bat

pod that flies? What is the one that flies in

Dark Knight Rises the bat the bat? Yeah, they

had like, you know set photos of the bat and

people were you know going going crazy over it

you know it's um i'm waiting for that day when

we get a trailer that is all storyboards that

would be hilarious actually that would be something

like deadpool would do so um but yeah that that's

what it is you know it's they just need to not

show us something until it's ready um Don't really

have a rebuttal for him, you know, no, I mean

Yeah, it we I agree with everything that he said

so Moving over to the Twitter sphere We have

Scanner 51 Who says that? And this was back on

mid February. He says he had just bought Justice

League and watched Half of it work and then finished

the the second viewing still loves the film and

then Midnight Yeah, Midnight Toker PC says just

saw it again and like the movie more even now

Though I are more than I already did the effects

are good cartoony but good and it feels like

an episode of the animated series Just a taste

of what's to come all its issues can be excused

by the production of WB interference See I can

agree with both of those but I feel like the

if I feel like the takeaway there is the second

viewing ends up being better than the first because

You've already seen it and your expectations

are adjusted accordingly. I Can see that in and

and I had the same I Had the same reaction with

the last Jedi When I went and saw it the first

time in the theater, I was just, I left going

that, okay, that was another, my socks were firmly

attached inside of my shoes to my feet, if you

will. And that was not what I was expecting to

have happen. Seeing that movie, there were a

couple of really cool scenes and I was honestly

dreading having to watch it again with my dad

over Christmas break. but I went to see it again

with my father and It was So much better to the

second time around I still had some minor things

here. It was so much better Justice League. I

haven't given it. It's it's second viewing yet

and and I honestly cancelled my my 4k blu -ray

pre -order for the movie because I have a feeling

that One we're either gonna see that mythical

Snyder cut Or or it'll be like five dollars on

Black Friday I Would be down for that so I just

and and I feel like that Snyder cut is a long

ways off because if even at all because I I'm

wondering how good of a relationship Warner Brothers

and Zack Snyder have at the moment Well, the

fact that when Joss Whedon jumped ship on Batgirl

and then there was something else about Zack

Snyder posting like a photo of himself on Instagram

where he had the mustache and beard thing. And

then he made the Snyder mark, you know, and then

somebody says, you know, something about the

CG and he kind of quipped about it. Oh, yeah,

you said we all know that doesn't work. Yeah

Yeah, so I'm wondering what the working relationship

is between water brothers and Zack Snyder I mean

and that's kind of unfortunate because I kind

of went into it not really Appreciating his his

vision and then when we got this I was like man.

I wish he was still there right because this

was hacked to bits, but It is it is what it is

just got to take your lumps and move forward

on it Does anyone else have anything to say about

Justice League or was that it? No, that was that

was pretty much it. I kind of agree though with

both statements I just wish that it was more

cohesive than it it came out Yeah, either one

directors vision or the other but not the amalgamation

and the the the studio interference Yeah, I still

stand behind the fact. I am still amazed that

it came out in November. I am shocked it came

out in November. Yeah. Especially when the director

swap happened was the same year. Yep. Not that

far behind either. And then Scanner 51 also comments

about when we were talking about the customizing

episode. Okay. He says he got a 06 Chevy Monte

Carlo SS 327 CID V8. In the 60s, SS cars came

with the SS badges up front, not bow ties. So

he removed the bow tie and replaced it with an

SS emblem. Now see, that is something that I

would do. I would do that too. It's kind of like,

it's like when I had my volts, I mean, not exactly

quite the same thing, but kind of. When I had

my volt, the front of the Chevy Volt, the original

model, not the current one. Well, the current

one has it too. It was chromed out. The grill

had these chrome inserts in it, or they were

silver inserts that just didn't look right to

me, like ever. It was like this just big block

of... Silver in the front of the car and it didn't

matter what color you got. They all had that

same Big block of silver or chrome, right? I

know they were just goofy looking Right. Well,

I thought that I thought that was I the reason

I thought I think they did that and I have no

evidence of this But the reason I think they

did that was so that the car Would stand out

because you can't hear it So they made like the

front of it a little more reflective to light

So you have no choice but to see it right well

that way you don't get hit by a car you can't

hear right it's That was my that was my thinking

to it right so yeah one of the things one of

the things that I did is they make this I can't

remember what it's called right now the official

name of it, but it's a spray paint that goes

on and it makes a It's basically like a it's

a latex paint that makes a rubber coating that

you can peel off, okay And people use it, they

use it to like black out their rims and everything.

And like the thicker you put it on, the more

pliable it actually is. Like when you're done,

you can actually, you could peel it off like

it was a sticker, like cellophane. I can't remember

what it's called, but anyways, I bought a can

of flat black of this spray paint. And my dad

and I masked off the entire car. around the we

masked off around the bowtie and Then we masked

off, you know the headlights the hood and everything

and just left those silver pieces and we spray

painted over them with matte black and That made

the car look so much better like I've done things

like that and and my truck right now I have a

2018 Silverado that I talked about a couple episodes

ago. That is the 2018 is the Don't know if it's

the hundredth anniversary of Chevrolet or the

hundredth anniversary of the Silverado I think

it's the Silverado Chevrolet was eight years

ago or something Well see they it's not just

a Silverado though because the Colorado has the

same kit So it's a Chevy trucks thing Yeah, I

think it's a it's a it's a truck thing. Hundred

years of Chevy trucks or something like that.

But they have badging for that says like 100.

And then it says like the Chevrolet bow tie and

like the old original OG style Chevrolet. And

there's like there's a chrome placard you can

get that goes on both sides of the truck that

says 100 years. And then the bow tie that goes

on the tailgate and on the front is like a special

Chevrolet Blue with the Chevrolet written across

the bow tie. Kind of like the old school. Exactly.

And it like I'm trying to get a set of all of

those to put on my truck. Like if I had known

I would I probably would have gotten the Centennial

truck. But as it is, like I could you can buy

those things separately. And I have a I have

a Centennial truck. It's just not, you know,

their package. Yeah, so I'm trying to get those

Those I don't know though. My dad calls him bugs

I Believe I want to say that's the official name

for them. That's what he calls them But I'm trying

to get them trying either to get him to get them

for me because I think you can get him for free

or I'm trying to get them for my dealer so I

can put them on my truck myself Do you remember

when they they had those like square? chrome

GM I love pieces that they put on the doors.

Yep. My 2005 Aveo that I had a while back did

not have them. They didn't start putting them

on until 06. OK. On different vehicles, just

not the Aveo. And because I was like, that kind

of sucks. I like it. You know, I mean, it's not

a big modification, but I thought it was cool

looking. So I went to the parts department I

was like yo get me some of those and so they

they got me like four of them and I put two on

the vehicle and I kept like a couple extra and

I think it stuck one to something else around

here and like might have been my tower or something

They don't put those on the truck on the vehicles

anymore. No, they stopped doing those about four

years ago Maybe maybe a little bit longer, but

They were trying to distance everything, General

Motors, trying to keep all the brands separated,

even though it was kind of dumb. And so they

stopped putting them on. And I was kind of like,

oh, that sucks. Because it was kind of a nice

little staple of a GM vehicle. Well, I remember

my, you know, I don't know if the Volt had those.

They did when they came out. Okay, I had a 2014

so I don't think mine did not have but my I had

an 07 g6 and it had them and I remember I scraped

a a light pole in a parking lot across the door

like and I had to have the door replaced and

I was Super I was super concerned. I was like

I was you know, I made sure the body shop I was

like you need to put those bugs back on They

have to, you know, they need to be, you need

to get the bug and you need to put it on the

car. Like, I didn't want them to send the car

back without the bugs on it. Oh, and that and

I also, you know, the other the other modification

I'm so the modification for my truck is either

going to be one of two things. It's either going

to be the Centennial logos or I have a Z71. OK,

and the Chevy pick up. The Z71s have that sticker

on the tail on the bed that says Z71. I had them

take that off at the dealership. Because I like

what GMC does with their trucks. They put it

in the grill. No, well, I have a little Z71 bug

in my grill. OK, that's the only place that you

could tell on the outside of the truck that it's

a Z71 right now. But the GMC Z71s on the current

model year. they have these, they're made out

of chrome, and they put them on the hood, or

on the front quarter panel. Oh, okay, I know

what you're talking about. And it looks really

sharp. Well, they used to do that with GM vehicles

back in the 80s even, with some of the stuff.

Like, I had a S15, GMC S15 Sierra Classic, and

they had, so it was an S15 pickup, but it had

the Sierra Classic sticker on the front. quarter

right right and uh i i like that way better like

i like the look of that z71 in that chrome bug

on the front quarter panel way better than the

z71 sticker that they put on the chevrolet so

i i had them take this z71 stickers off and i'm

gonna get i'm trying to get some of those bugs

to put on the front quarter panel like it is

in the gmc because i think it looks i think it

looks way better i i having worked at a chevy

dealership i while I love the the Chevy vehicles

and essentially the Chevy truck and the GMC truck

are exactly the same other than some detailing

and aesthetics but I think GMC's aesthetics are

way they're too much but they're they kind of

hit it just right whereas like Chevy kind of

looks like the the low end, like we've we've

already tested everything out on every other

vehicle. So we're going to we're just going to

put these like bare bones looking stuff on it

and spend as little as possible. See, I like

the Silverado over the Sierra. I've never been

a fan of GMC. I will say this is this is the

wrong podcast for this. But just just real quick,

I I will say this, I like. that the GMC, like

the Sierra and the Canyon, I like that the Canyon

looks like a smaller GMC Sierra. I like that.

I was going to get it. I almost got a Colorado,

but I can't stand how the Colorado looks. So,

but I've always liked the Silverado. I like that

bar that goes across that Chevy bar. that goes

across the entire front. I've always liked that

look. I don't like how open the GMC grille has

always been. See, I'm the opposite. I like the

openness of the GMC grille, but I also still

have my GMC logo that actually used to go to

my truck that I used to own. More so because

my brakes went out and I re -rendered a Silverado

in the trailer hitch and it blew out my front

grille. And so I saved the Saved the GMC logo

that went in it and then I later replaced it

with an aftermarket grill which didn't have this

spot even in there for a Emblem so I my dad has

always been a GMC guy I don't know if it's just

be rebelling against my dad like that's why maybe

that's why I like the Silverado but I feel like

okay, I feel like the Silverado or the GM the

GMC is Like I don't get why there's a Cadillac

Escalade. Okay to me. That's what the that's

what the Sierra is Okay, well on the Escalade

can be a lot of things it can be a it can be

a Sierra or it can be a Top of suburban or yeah,

but I'm just saying like I don't understand why

there's the Cadillac Escalade when you have the

GMC Sierra and Yukon Okay, like they there doesn't

need to be a Cadillac line because that to me

is what GMC is so Chevy has to me Chevy's always

been the truck you can actually do something

with GMC is the truck that you Drive when you

just want to look look You know what I'm saying?

Like yeah, that that's what it is to me and I've

never been that guy I remember like growing up

that right for this we can get back on what this

podcast actually is But when I was growing up,

you know In middle school and stuff like that,

you know I we went through everyone in my family

went through that phase where it's like I'm gonna

try like you remember like turbo jeans and guest

jeans and like Tommy Hilfiger and stuff like

that. And I really liked carpenter jeans in middle

school and high school. I still wear them. And

I had a pair of Tommy Hilfiger carpenter jeans

because that was like the cool thing in the 90s,

right? And I remember one day my cousin who was

like, you know, he had nice clothes and he did

everything he possibly could to keep them nice.

but like he came over and we were in my dad's

garage like doing some actual work in a garage

and I've got my Tommy Hilfiger jeans on I've

got an actual hammer in the hammer loop you know

like I'm wearing them as carpenter pants not

just for show and he was like you're actually

wearing those it's like yeah I didn't buy them

just to like for show like I bought them to like

use them you know like and and and I feel like

you buy you buy the sierra when you want the

look you buy the silverado when you want to get

something done and i figure i i feel the reason

that is is because there's actually a silverado

work truck yep there there is no work truck equivalent

of a sierra no there's not chevy's got a lot

of the bare bones stuff so um anyways so what's

okay uh let's get let's get back on track here

yes back on track um So then Jump and jump and

jump and here we are And then What's that? Do

we need to make this a two -parter? Do I need

to make it a two -parter? No, there's actually

not that much more. Okay Yeah, then there was

an episode a while back when I Think I covered

it though. It's it's got it's got reboot stuff

but the one of the other comments that did come

up and Twitter was from tune master Tim, which

we may have to dedicate an entire episode to

The the talk about 4k ultra HD saturation content

players TV discs HDR Stuff like ah Yes, that

would be that would be a totally different episode

Yeah, yep, but just we're putting it in here

I mean obviously responded you we responded you

on twitter, but we're putting in here. So it's

on an actual record We will be doing that we'll

be doing something along those roads. Yes Because

you've done what we've asked for sir, and now

we've now we have to deliver the ball is in our

court So I think that's it on this one. I think

we're all caught up on feedback now All right.

Well, is there anything else you want to add?

No, I think we're all good on the feedback front

until there's more. All right, guys. Well, hopefully

you like the first feedback episode. This is

what Steve and I want to do after we've had a

number of them in the bag. Just kind of go back

and figure out what we think the best comments

are and get them on the air and on record with

the rest of everything that we talk about. As

always, you can leave your comments. If you want

to this a while back, but got away from it for

some time. Not sure why, but got the interest

to check it out again and was surprised by some

of the changes. I'm liking it even more now and

tends to be on top of my go -to pile of podcasts.

So thank you again and we hope to stay in there.
