Before I introduce my co -host, I'd like to say

it's great having him back on this spectacular

event, this not only being episode 100, but the

two -year anniversary of the show. Welcome back,

sir. Hi. I just want to start right off the top.

This is why I asked you what number the last

one I was on, which I think it was 98. Sure.

Yeah, we'll go with that. It was 97 or 98 that

I was on. And I just want to apologize for anyone

that was listening to that episode. I was very

poor. Co -host on that one because I was an idiot

and I just want to apologize for that upfront

to anyone that listened to it and Didn't care

for me on that episode. So I think people are

more so not caring for me, but I well in that

if you remember in that episode I made the dumb

decision to Mess with my phone right before we

sat down to record And I spent the rest of the

record distracted while I tried to fix it. And

promptly when we were done recording and I had

it all corrected, I immediately wanted to blow

my brains out because I had lost all of my fitness

records for like two months. I remember that.

And I had... No way of getting them back and

so I was massively distracted during that record

and I just want to apologize because I don't

think that is a that is good for the show any

show and I just want to apologize for anyone

That was irritated by that so But I'm not doing

that this week. I'm leaving my phone alone. I'm

not trying to roll back on anything. I'm just

Taking it as it is. Yeah, and I'm not going to

sit there and stare at the GOP thing going on

in Twitter because it's fun watching everybody

argue back and forth about the stupidity of the

whole thing. My Twitter feed isn't too full of

that. I mean, I guess it's slowly starting to

fill up with that, but it's a lot of I guess

there's a Dota 2 tournament going on. Oh, that

would be better to right now. So my my Twitter

feed is like, well, my Twitter feed consists

of three things right now. People blasting Fantastic

Four. Yeah, I'm not seeing too much of that now

because it's all the GOP thing or the debate

or It's the Dota 2 tournament that's going on.

So that is my Twitter feed. That is the news

that I get So Well, at least it's not you know

episode 100. Yes episode 100 so Obviously this

I actually had to go back today. I was I was

kind of just wandering out of curiosity I made

the art for the show, which normally I don't

customize them anymore because I've been lazy

But I think that it kind of helps know what you're

getting into when you see it So I'm gonna start

doing that again Like I did back in the olden

days and I think that the art just got dark to

the point that I was just like hey I don't care

As I noticed at one point about the point where

the show started taking a nosedive was about

the time I stopped making art for it yeah, I

I have that problem even with you know when I

did the lunchroom off the cuff and Even oh Everyone's

like we were only like 10 11 episodes into Geek

cast radio now, and I'm kind of you know it This

stuff takes time. You have to find it and you

have to want to find it. Well, I think it's a

lot of it is just finding the motivation. Yeah,

yeah. That's what I'm getting at. It takes time

and then you need to find that time and you have

to devote that time. And I mean, while I will

blast me to some, I do still very much consider

podcasting to be a hobby. You know, it just It

takes time, and you have to want to do it. And

so that's tough to want to do that every week

and come up with something fresh, which is why

when we started GeekCast, or not GeekCast, sorry,

Geek Stuff, GarageCast, I made the decision to

delegate. some of the responsibilities of the

show because it used to be I would corral myself

and my three co -hosts and come up with a topic

and I'd be responsible for recording said show,

editing said show, posting it to the website.

Like I was, I took on everything and now I've

kind of, when we chose to embark on the Geek

Stuff Garage Cast, I was like, I have to delegate

some stuff. Like I don't want to be the main

host. I don't want to do the script. I don't

want to come up with what we talk about. I will

record it and edit it and post it. But I don't

want anything else to do. I think that's why

I enjoy some of the other shows that I'm I I

guessed on, because I don't have to do any work,

but show up and know what I'm talking about.

Mm hmm. And and that's. Back in the day when

we started the network. It was kind of like I

Mike and I did everything and we just I got burnt

out and he doesn't mind doing some of it because

he likes to keep track of stuff Whereas I do

too, but I've gotten to the point where I've

gotten so OCD and my time has been filled with

everything I just don't have time anymore, which

is why it's kind of scaled back. I mean you can

go ahead and shows you have better things to

do Yeah, I mean, I get two kids. I got film class,

which we've been editing. We shot all the film

in three days total, or more or less three nights,

and I got no sleep for those three days. I'd

say we had a good four hours worth of footage.

That we whittled down and in mind you I had to

name all of these files like in sync up all the

audio to the video With the clacker and everything

and it was just it was amazing to sit there and

do that It was tedious as hell which is probably

why now I I Enjoy the podcasting so much more

because I realized how much editing a film is

more of a pain in the ass Which is fine because

I don't mind doing it but I'd much rather do

that than actually be on the film set because

that I find infinitely worse But I've whittled

it down to the point that it's like 30 minutes

worth of footage That's that's usable because

it's a 10 minute film That we got to get it down

to and it's alternate takes and different scenes

and everything I got a good I'd say about half

of it edited already Just rough at it before

we add in anything color corrected or special

effects or anything like that, but So yeah, I've

gotten to see how much more difficult it is to

do video compared to audio. So now I have this

new appreciation for audio. Um, especially when

I've been recording the podcast at my desk at

work when nobody's around through my phone, which

surprisingly wasn't that bad a quality. It's

not my yeti quality, but it was not bad as long

as I didn't touch my desk. Right. Because then

I can hear the doof. That's that's how most things

boil down to as long as I don't touch my desk

Everything goes fine But yeah, so I mean today

I was looking through the show records and I

saw that The podcast started August 2nd 2013

Right around the time we found out about Batman

v Superman It was right after it was right after

comic -con. Yeah Yep. Yep, and then We've done

anything but talk about Batman since then I know

it seems like that Although we've done really

good not to talk about it the last I don't know

a couple months The first year anniversary show

was on August 1st 2014 and that was episode 51

and then The obviously the second year is August

7th 2015 I put 14 in the script, like a genius.

And it's episode 100, so it's kind of a nice

monumental double feature there. I don't, I mean,

obviously I haven't been on all 100 episodes,

but I don't think I've recorded 100 episodes

of any podcast I've done. I mean, I know I've

recorded more than 100 episodes or so of podcasts,

but not consecutively. Funny thing is is is Mike

was breaking it down for me the other day and

he says you know This is the fifth GCRN show

to hit 100 episodes right and I says really which

ones and he says well Tooncast classic obviously

was the first one then he tells me you know M

wire All things transformers if I didn't reboot

it with the new numbering. I would have been

well over 100 And then there's the pull bag And

then now this. So that's five shows. So. Yeah.

Fantastic. With talking in circles, I believe

coming in next. I was really happy to collaborate

with you on this to move. I mean, it's because

Altergeek started as a YouTube project. Or a

video project. And then it kind of never really

took off and. Always kind of wanted you to have

a soapbox for your opinions And so I remember

like having the conversations with you about

making this a podcast for you So Do you regret

doing that? No, actually I do not I really enjoy

the The being able to just BS and kind of talk

about whatever happens to pop up because I sit

here on social media all day and I follow everything

that I like. That's part of what's consumed the

show in the past is I get on this kick of, hey,

I like this, I like this, I like this. I want

to talk about all of these things and then there's

just no way to squeeze in an hour show and make

it sound decent. And that was part of my problem,

is I was getting into this rut of, I want to

cover all the news because I want to talk about

everything. Instead of talking about the main

things that really, you know, I got into the

castings and all these other things, which is

fine to some degree, but most of the time it's

just like, eh, so -and -so's cast is so -and

-so and then it would be a waste. So I'm kind

of going away from that and talking about more

fun things like, you know. hoverboards and Stuff

like that before I gave up on off the cuff. We

made it to 66 That's an accomplishment well 66

proper episode properly numbered episodes and

then it's 66 78 See nine Ten so 70 71 to 72 episodes

That's not bad that's the most consistent With

a non -consistent podcast I've ever done So,

but yeah, no I I've enjoyed Anytime we've been

at you and I've been able to sit down and talk

about anything. I've always and I've always enjoyed

it so likewise I Hope the listeners have enjoyed

it too. Just like listening to your podcast The

geek stuff garage cast Yes, shameless plug it's

fine shame shame plug away We we need it I we've

got one review on iTunes and that kind of bums

me out but I'm not about that well actually I'm

not really like that's not what my goal is to

get like reviews or anything like that I really

don't care I can see how many people are like

listening and or like at least downloading the

show and that's great but I've realized I'm like

very much like a numbers guy like it's fine doing

the show but I do obsess over the numbers or

like the amount of something that we have But

at the end the day I threw myself. That's not

what this is like about, you know It's about

us just having fun recording our geek our geek

stuff and our opinions and sharing them with

the rest of you know geek dumb and and then when

I'm you know when I'm bored then I go online

and I look and I see that we only have one review

on iTunes and I get sad and then I go that's

not what it's about I go, but I still only have

one review so It's all right. It's not bad. I

mean, I I haven't had any new reviews on here

in ages. I think the last one was Dan. And then

the one before that was a guy saying more or

less that I was boring the hell out of him because

it went downhill, which I couldn't fault him

for that. I was feeling it too for a little bit.

But I think that that ship has sailed. Yeah,

I do have some new segments planned, like I mentioned

to you off air. Unfortunately TFGO and Mike was

unable to attend which one of them was his ideas

They will show up in the coming weeks Yay, that

way they're thought out ahead of time and I'm

not trying to pull something out of my ass during

this show So that's the best way to do it. I

know because then then you're just stumbling

over words for the next 20 minutes So with that

did you want to move into some of the media stuff

that kind of sure I had in there I don't know

if there's anything that you wanted to bring

up that I didn't have in there, but... I mean,

you can start it up real quick. Just hit one,

and I'll see if I've bookmarked anything of worth

in my Twitter feed. Sounds good. Well, I noticed

the other day that Lexus has a hoverboard, which

uses magnetic levitation and... I think it's

like some kind of a hydrogen To to propel it

And and I watched the the video of it and I was

like, yeah Is this real and then I was finding

other news articles about it and like actually

in the news and I was like, okay This is real

Because you know you can never tell anymore people

are Doctoring everything but it's actually from

Lexus too. So It's real, but I think it's one

of those things where it's like if you have to

ask how much it costs you can't afford it. Yeah,

that's I wouldn't even ask But it is funny that

they have it and it's like the back to the future

year now All we need is Lexus to buy Mattel And

then we could have them as toys. Yeah That would

be great and it does hover. It's just that these

guys can't seem to stay on them So it's I wonder

why I know, but it does hover over the water,

so that is pretty cool. Those boards don't work

on water unless you've got power. I know the

little rip cord. Well, again, I haven't seen

this video, but the hover boards worked on water

in Back to the Future. They would hover over

water, but you couldn't propel yourself forward

without the pull dog. Which these you can. OK.

They have like the The the sky cameras I forget

what they're called. It's it's like the GoPro

thing with the helicopter thing attached to it

To record them while they're doing it But these

get they have skateboarders out using these things

and they actually go across water in this skateboard

park Wondering if they have some kind of thrust

on the back of them I think it does a little

bit it has it on the sides which is surprising

But it's part of the propulsion right so that

makes it more of like the mad dog hoverboard

from Back to the Future 2 than Marty's hoverboard.

Yeah, it's less Marty McFly and more Biff. But

it looks pretty cool. I personally would not

do it because I can't write a moped barely, so

I wouldn't attempt this. I won't get into that

story, but it's pretty neat looking at it. It's

what you'd expect. I mean for a back -to -the

-future knockoff So I just thought it was kind

of interesting that we finally have it and it's

the same year as And I don't know the rest of

that song so don't know he's gonna wait for the

The the self laces Nike's working on that. I

that's what I heard I hope that they come out

by the end of the year because then it'll mean

that the future has come to pass other than the

flying cars yeah i was gonna say um because we

have everything else we have the video phone

on the tv we have you know really everything

else it's just the uh hello we don't have the

distribution no we don't have the black and decker

rehydrator oh yeah come on we don't have that

that that would be cool i think maybe i don't

know yeah we we need that we really don't I wouldn't

buy it, but that's just saying it. So, did you

watch Prison Beric? No, that was in my I Hate

Fox phase. Oh, okay. It's a really good show,

continuity and detail wise. It's really well

written. The third season was a little part of

the second and part of the third, which I think

it was around writer's strike time. was a little

shaky because that's why third season is like

the shortest but it actually is it works in its

favor because it's not all filled with fluff

yeah like most shows but they're reviving the

show and there's a key element that happens at

the end of the fourth season that makes you wonder

how they're gonna do this but it's got the original

writing and creator so it should be it's gonna

be a 10 episode season Kind of like what's going

with X files and like what they did with 24 I

was gonna say Fox seems to be really on board

with this I'm waiting for them to announce like

a house revival I think it's actually good that

they're doing these 10 episode or 12 episode

seasons instead of doing these 22 22 episode

ones I've Since for you know, a hundred episodes

now. I have championed the cable model of television

programming Which is you know in 10 to 15 episodes

and done for a season I don't I'm I am tired

of these 22 episode seasons. Well, I think with

the amount of content we get nowadays, I think

none of us really have the patient for it. You

know, I'd be fine with 13 episodes a season and

that's it. I shouldn't really for anything. So

I can't say for anything because I feel like

I'm watching. My wife and I are watching Parks

and Rec. And I really like that show so every

once in a while on Netflix I'll be like, okay

How many episodes is this season and one like

a couple of them are like 15 episodes and I'm

like, oh And a couple of other ones are like

22 and I'm like, yay built for like like drama

and storytelling like to tell an arc like I yeah

that those need to be between 10 and 15 but like

a sitcom that's actually good I feel like those

ones can go They can go year -round as far as

I'm concerned if they can main, you know maintain

the production but Just stuff that doesn't have

that isn't really telling a story That's fine

plus if you think about it a 45 minute drama

is at 15 episodes is kind of like, you know 22

23 episodes of a 22 minute sitcom It works out.

You're not wasting any extra time. You're still

getting to see the same amount of content. Exactly.

Never thought of it that way, actually. It makes

great sense. But they're also doing that with

Heroes Reborn, too. I'm interested in that. I'll

watch it because I'll watch it. But I'm really

bummed that Siler's not coming back. I'm wondering...

I know he's busy with like American Horror Story

and everything else. He's not in American Horror

Story. Oh not anymore? Nope. Okay. I haven't

watched enough of that to know. I saw the season

he was in and that was it. He's in two seasons.

Okay. First two? Yep. Yeah, that's all I've seen.

Asylum. So you've seen Asylum? Yeah. That Asylum

is my favorite season. I think that was the only

one that even my wife was like that's... The

best one and then she was like they kind of went

downhill from there. So shoot you guys watched

coven Uh, she watched all of it. I watched when

I was in the room the most recent one um coven

was kind of weak because I it was a kind of a

departure from the standard storytelling for

american horror story, but uh I can't remember

what this subtitle was for the fourth season.

I think it was like freaks Yeah, I think like

the carnival thing. Yes, that one is a good one

like that because Asylum there are characters

from asylum in the fourth season also ties together

a little bit Yep, little little little itty -bitty

bit and so I'm and I'm you know looking forward

to the next season of American Horror Story But

that was a side side sidebar. Yeah, but yeah,

I mean I'm looking forward to Heroes Reborn.

I know that they're bringing seven of the original

characters back. They're bringing back Suresh,

Parkman, Bennett, HRG basically, Micah, the mom,

Petroli, and Hero. See, I think that's it. But

they've stated that Micah, Suresh, and Parkman

are going to have a limited amount of time. They're

going to be a minimal amount in the mini -series.

And they didn't state one way or the other on

Petreli. And then HRG is going to be basically

the main guy in the whole series, because it's

his mission, essentially. And then Hero is going

to be basically Hero. But he's gonna be kind

of training the new generation see I None of

those characters interest me. It was always about

for me. It was always about Tyler. I I liked

Tyler and then I I hated what they did to him

and Peter Petrelli mm -hmm in season three and

kind of neutered them for season four Yeah, yeah

And I think that... See, I'm just wondering what's

happened to all those characters that aren't

going to be in this arc. I bet there'll be nods

to them or something. I know there'll be nods.

Because I mean, they reference the... Well, they

reference the footage to Claire Bennett when

she jumps off the thing at the end of season

four. At the beginning of the... Because they've

got an online app. Heroes were born something

and it's it's like a bridge between Heroes and

heroes were born. Okay, but it takes place just

before heroes were born hmm, so it follows this

brother and sister and the sisters got powers

and You get to meet Micah and you get to see

the nod to HRG and Suresh and That's about it.

It's but they're like little five minute episodes.

It's not the Mexican brother and sister. Is it?

With the sister that would like cause like death.

No, no. Oh, God. I hated those characters. Didn't

they die? I don't even remember. We're rewatching

the show right now. So, I mean, it's because

I can't remember either, but I hated those characters

while I'm watching season two. At a certain point,

it became that series was if Siler isn't on screen,

I'm not paying attention. Liked Petrelli, but

that I only liked him because he had all the

powers I I didn't like him per se I just liked

all of his powers that he'd absorbed just through

walking past people that My issue with that was

you never it was like smallville. You never got

the payoff and Siler the same extent you never

got the payoff for these guys having all of these

powers I mean, they were arguably they should

have been like superman like unstoppable yes

they are they were arguably the two most powerful

people in that show and you never got to see

them reach their potential because it's a tv

show but siler the way zanfrey quinto played

him was so disturbed by what he could do and

how he did what he did like that to me made that

character more interesting than peter's character

plus i always felt like Peter was always too

good. Well, he played like the wounded duck.

Yes And I'm not a big fan of those characters

type of characters So I I think I'm looking forward

to that show a lot though because I did enjoy

heroes Despite some of their writing flaws and

I'm gonna watch it. I'm not it's like I'm not

gonna be like ah I'll check it out. See what

what what's what I think that's smart on on Fox's

behalf, though, of getting people to watch their

network again by bringing back shows for, you

know, an extra season after the show ended. I'm

not necessarily sure that they should keep doing

that. Or to read, you know, even if they're going

to reboot the series or something after the fact

with different people, like not different characters,

I should say, not different people, but. I would

like to see House again. No reason why they couldn't

you know, it's weird what he's doing. Anyway,

they're spending all this time Redoing these

episodes like making new seasons for all these

shows But the one show that made me hate Fox

for for a little for a very long time Is the

one that has not been announced as getting another

season which is firefly? I'm kind of surprised

at that being that that's kind of the the way

of things now like not only the reboots, but

the the fact that the show Has a huge following.

Yeah, and and that's what I don't get because

like all the cast would sure as hell come back

for it and maybe I mean I can't really say that

but but that's them would but like I'm saying

like why aren't they beaten down that or maybe

they are and we just don't know but like it seems

weird to beat down the door of 24 and and prison

break and not the the TV show that has arguably

one of the biggest cult followings in Geek well,

especially when geeks kind of rule the earth

now Yeah, exactly. It doesn't make sense not

to bring it back and weedens at some sort of

like all -time high And he's not a big Marvel

fan. So that would be a It's just it's interesting

to me that that but like I said Maybe maybe there

are conversations being had and we just haven't

been privy to them yet Maybe we just need leaked

footage and then they'll streamline it like they

did with Deadpool. Yeah Which speaking of Deadpool

his official trailer dropped this week oh what

a fantastic trailer it is yes the only thing

it and I'll kind of backpedal a little bit I

love the teaser for the trailer that he released

on like Monday where he's Deadpool and he's doing

the Don LaFontaine voiceover movie guy yep and

then from the studio that sewed his mouth shut

Yeah, and then he says, you know, by five time

Emmy or yeah, Emmy award watcher. Yeah. Ryan

Reynolds. And then he says brings you and then

he does the clapper and he says me and then he

starts talking. And then I love the one that's

at the end of the Fantastic Four trailer, too.

I haven't seen that one. It's I I did this. As

soon as the trailer dropped the other day, I

did this article on the website. It's all about

Deadpool, which is on the recent post. If you

check that, I have every Deadpool trailer that's

out. Okay. Listed as well as my thoughts on some

of them. I have the one where, you know, he's

the 2014 Comic Con teaser. I have the teaser

for the trailer that came out beginning of the

week, the Fantastic Four follow -up one. The

green band trailer where they changed some of

the words that he says Like the part where he

says I'm touching myself tonight Which for the

record some of the stuff in the green band trailer

was funnier than the red band stuff Which I'll

agree. I I really like the For some reason I

like the cue the cue the music Versus I need

to express some anger Well, the funny thing is

is all of that was in the comic -con trailer

and then I they had the the part where in the

comic -con trailer Deadpool when they show Colossus

Colossus, you know slaps him into the van and

he goes up and he goes you big chrome cock cobbler

and Then he says and who are you and she says

nega, you know sonic teenage warhead and he says

mega sonic teenage What the shit? He says that's

the coolest thing ever and then he's standing

next to him. It says cue the music and then they

go on to the next They cut that whole scene out

Under the red band trailer. That's alright. I

also the other thing like the green band trailer

They also cut like when he's about to when he's

about to swear Like when he gets shot in the

arm and he's like looking through it and on the

red band trailer He's like mother and in the

green band trailer. They cut like around that

I a lot of the times I find editing explicit

content in the right way to be funnier than actually

delivering the line. Which it'll be funny in

the movie in context, but yeah, the trailer was

funny how they did that. It's funny in the Red

Band trailer. I just think it's funnier in the

Green Band trailer because because they have

to be so delicate with it. Yes. And so it's like

we're pushing the line and we're cutting the

scene right now. So. But yeah that trailer I've

watched it Probably not as much as other people

but at least five times And I really I I Mentioned

this to a friend last night when I because I

actually got to see the trailer in the theater

because I previewed fantastic four last night

I Told my friend who was watching it. She was

actually she's looking forward to because one

she likes Ryan Reynolds and the trailer was actually

funny And I said, even if the movie is like horrible,

that still plays straight into what Deadpool

is. Mm hmm. So. Like, I don't think that this

movie can be bad because that's what Deadpool

is basically. He's he's written almost like an

80s type of Deadpool is like campy. He's well

he's like a beam. He's like a b -movie sci -fi

channel character camp yes and It works yeah

And I really hope I I'm really interested to

see how much how often and how severely he breaks

the fourth wall I Know there's gonna be some

elements of it. I know I love the part where

he says and Don't make my suit green or animated

yeah apparently there's um there's i guess there's

a lot more digs to uh green lantern in there

there's they slash from had an interview with

the director i think they're deleted scenes on

the on the um there's some in the movie but there's

more being added to the deleted scenes because

they didn't want to like push it too far like

there's an entire scene where he's talking to

colossus about like Being Green Lantern So that's

yeah, that's but I don't think that's they haven't

said whether or not that's in the movie but they

said it's on the on the blu -ray, so I'm Looking

forward to that movie. I really really am I Think

that's the only Marvel movie. I'm looking forward

to right now, you know Legitimately looking forward

to I will agree with you there But I for the

listeners, I want to draw that line in the sand

real quick that it's not Marvel Studios. It's

Fox. So true. But I don't think I don't think

Fox can mess this character up, because like

I said, even if it's bad, it plays directly into

what that character is. See, I'm not looking

forward to Apocalypse, but I'm looking forward

to Deadpool. I'm looking I'm interested in Apocalypse.

I'm interested, but I don't. Honestly care at

this point. I'm I'm interested because I one

I wish it was age of apocalypse, but it's not

age of apocalypse So that's because we got a

bunch of movies that were age of But I I feel

like they could I feel like they actually could

have done age of apocalypse and They could have

done it better than age of Ultron, but it's alright.

It's okay At least apocalypse is showing up on

the screen. Yes, I have a news I I really don't

think that's like a final form thing. I know

I I think that's just like his is kind of mellowed

out I also have to Take that with a great assault

because you're not seeing it Color time corrected

and you're not nothing is being applied to that

Like that's a guy with a camera on the set I

think the joke is funny. The Ivan's joke is funny.

I yeah that I mean I just like poking the the

joke with it I don't I don't really I don't care

either way. Like I'm not one of those geeks It's

like offended because he doesn't look exactly

like his comic form. I hate those people There's

certain characters that I want to look pretty

damn close but like all the female characters

I don't really care You mean I want them want

them to stay the right character Like characters?

No, that was a joke. I was talking about because

female costumes in the comics tend to be outrageous.

Oh, yeah. And you're like, I'm not one of those

people that once the once the costumes look exactly

like they do in the comic, unless it's one of

the female characters, then I get angry. I don't

know if you've noticed this, the X -Men TV series.

I have I believe we've talked about this before

But I really think that they should do x -factor

investigations And I've said that in many conversations

So I don't know if it's ended up in an altered

geek episode or not, but for anyone that doesn't

know there was In the mid -2000s. There was a

run on x -factor called x -factor investigations

and it was multiple man strong guy Two chicks

that I'm not familiar with oh Banshee the female

Banshee Okay another chick who just seemed to

have like super strength and could fly and I

believe there was a third male character in the

book, but they ran a detective agency in New

York And they catered primarily to mutant cases

But that's not the show like that's what the

Thing was but the comic and never really delved

into that like at all it ended up being like

a Real world version like MTV's real world But

with x -men characters Like all living in this

apartment in New York trying to do this job and

it It had the the humor and it had Like there's

some really it gets kind of dark a little bit

later in the in the series because for those

that don't know multiple men when he gets hit

he makes a duplicate of himself and when he absorbs

said duplicate he gains all of their knowledge

as well and At some point before this book was

written He made a bunch of duplicates of himself

and sent them out into the world Huh, and so

he spends the Something happens. I don't remember

what it is because it's been over ten years since

I've read the book but he decides that he's going

to go find his duplicates and absorb them and

gain their knowledge so he goes and and finds

them and has Conversations with them and some

of them have families or have become lawyers

or doctors or priests And he basically sits down

and kind of evaluates whether or not he's going

to destroy this life. What they've become. Yeah,

what they've become by absorbing them back into

him. Because once he does that, they no longer

exist. You can't get that same clone back out

of him. It was all really interesting. And then

it all kind of falls apart around what was that

storyline. That's not decimation or house of

M Messiah complex It all starts kind of unraveling

right around Messiah complex, but up until that

point it really was that I could see being a

TV show but the X -Men like You're not gonna

get It's gonna end up being kind of like the

Marvel thing You're not gonna get the characters

you want to see on the small screen. So you might

as well adapt a different book You know And I

I also think the other one they could do is the

Exiles comic Which involves like time travel

and universe hopping? So that that could be interesting

as well, but Don't know we'll see we'll see what

happens. I'm interested to see what they do because

anything that might be able to push Gotham off

the schedule Is already in my book well as far

as I can tell they have to get Marvel's approval

To bring it to TV, which is weird because I don't

think they're gonna get that unless Marvel gets

a Co -chair into their film universe So being

is that they're gonna try and reboot anyway,

I bet you that's what's on the table I Bet you

too because that's the only way Fox is gonna

get it on TV Because Marvel's gonna be like look

Iron Man's getting aged out And all these other

guys, so we're gonna need some X -Men to kind

of fill the ranks than the Avengers But there

aren't even X -Men that would qualify for that

Not knowing then you're not gonna get Hugh Jackman's

not going to do it. You know, they're going to

recast. Yeah. The other see, that's that's the

other thing. There's two other rumors that have

been flying around regarding like the X -Men

and movies. One is that, you know, there was

a whole last minute or was it like the 11th hour

debacle with Channing Tatum's contract for Gambit?

Apparently Fox was looking at Gambit to be the

new Wolverine. Anyone that's read an x -men comic

knows that gambit is not wolverine. He's a he's

a cool. I like gambit I think he's a cool character,

but he's not Wolverine. He is not a leader. He

does not motivate people to do things he's Not

gonna be that so apparently that's what a lot

of that that last -minute Deal finagling had

to do with was if he's gonna be locked into this

role as gambit He wants to make sure that he's

set up to be that You know to to get what he's

owed down the road and I but then again you know

maybe this isn't the gambit that we've seen in

the comics we don't know because for better or

worse I feel like Fox gives us different interpretations

of these characters which is fine I like seeing

different different interpretations of my favorite

characters so maybe this gambit will be more

of like a leader so to speak yeah could be The

other one was about the third Wolverine movies,

supposedly being Old Man Logan. And that rumor

keeps coming up and just will not die. But I

cry foul. Like, I can't imagine Fox would even

try to touch that one without working with Marvel

Studios. You never know. If they try to if they

try to touch that without working with Marvel

Studios, it's going to be. and I don't like making

judgment calls I don't see how it can be good

because that that move that series is solely

good because you get to see what happened to

your favorite Marvel characters that far in the

future you get to see what happened to Hawkeye,

Spider -man, Hulk Red Skull, Captain America

you get to see what happened to all of these

characters Throughout the life of Wolverine.

Yes, and Fox doesn't have any of those like Maybe

that's part of the the same deal though it you

know, and it could be I'm just saying like I

without working with Marvel Studios I don't see

how they can pull off old man Logan. That's all

that's that's all I'm saying so Maybe maybe this

TV thing will cause them to open the doors But

it's kind of a tricky situation because the X

-Men franchise is actually doing really well

They've recovered that so Mean maybe they can

just decide that we don't need to make a TV show.

So all negotiations are off the table Who knows

Yeah, I could see that So You you seem excited

about bad boys three and four yes, I am I'm a

bad boys fan I have been since the first one.

I enjoy the second one. I will concede that the

second one goes on a smidge too long, probably

about 30 minutes too long. I mean, there is definitely

a point in that movie where it should have ended

and then it just keeps going. The running joke

was that it was like bad boys two and a half

or bad boys three, like all in one movie. Um,

but ever since that when I've been waiting and

waiting and waiting for bad boys three and four

to the point where it's kind of like I wish like

as much as I liked painting game, which was Michael

Bay's movie with um, the rock and mark walbert

I really wish it had been bad boys three I also

wish we could have gotten a little bit of bad

boys in my transformers by casting Martin Lawrence

and Will Smith as the twins in Transformers 2.

I've said before that I thought that that could

have saved those characters, but we didn't get

that. I just, I really just liked the characters.

So when they announced those dates, you know,

2017 and 2019 for three and four, I was excited.

Now, from what everyone's been able to pick out,

nobody has signed. They've just announced dates.

Because the last thing that was said was Martin

Lawrence said a script was being worked on and

of course Martin Lawrence isn't doing anything.

So he's free But Bay is busy and I mean, but

maybe he'll want to do bad boys to take a break

from Transformers Yeah, I could be other than

that. Otherwise, it looks like it might be Joe

Carnahan Who did? The gray and the movie that

I've seen which is smoking aces Okay, I don't

know if you've seen smoking. No, I have not okay.

It's It's a pretty good action movie Like if

I didn't know like if if all I heard was bad

boys 3 being directed by the guy that did smoking

aces I'd be like alright, I mean as much as I

want it to be Michael Bay because I feel like

It you know, it's his that's his franchise, you

know um if there was any other name mentioned

the guy that did smoking aces is the one that

i would be okay i'm okay with them doing it so

i'm just really excited because i like those

characters i need to watch them again so i know

that what goes on i know that they're good michael

bay films i just have not seen the second one

and i can't remember the first one for the life

of me so I'll probably have to watch that again

before they come out. Of course, I got two years.

Two years for one, four years for the other,

So, we did have some questions between Facebook

and the website. Brian Jackson on Facebook asks,

what do you guys think of Aero showing up in

the WWE? Did you think it will be dumb or will

it actually work? See, I'm going to admit I don't

watch wrestling. I have no idea what's going

on here. I've seen some of the memes. I've watched,

I don't watch wrestling either. Blanchard does,

which it would have been more fitting if he was

here, but I have watched all of the memes and

the stuff floating around. Essentially, there's

this guy on there called Stardust. Obviously,

it's a gimmick, but StevenML was sitting in the

audience close to ringside a couple months ago.

He starts getting in his face and telling him,

oh, you're the arrow, blah, blah, blah. Like,

use your real name and everything. And they kind

of stood face to face. And then that was the

start of the kind of back and forth between them.

OK. So now, like, StephenML has been recording

stuff on Facebook on his little videos that he

makes about the whole thing. And then... Stardust

keeps coming out with new videos kind of mocking

him and saying, oh, his real name's Arrow. In

his wrestling matches, he tells somebody, you

have failed this city, and stealing his quote,

and Stephen Amell last week posted on his Twitter

after... Seeing Stardust post you have failed

the city. He puts a picture of him in the new

arrow the green arrow costume And says I'm coming

for you WWE Like so he's coming to summer slam

Essentially that time is any of this like was

any of this like scripted like does the CW have

anything with WWE or was he just like I think

the guy was just Flipping out on him like because

he was in the audience because like he's all

about like he His persona on WWE as far as I

gather from a couple of like bullshit interviews.

He's put out Are that he believes himself to

be like He's like a giant walking movie database

of information where everything in the movie

database is real compared to real life, which

is fake So like it's yeah, it's it's like a complete

180 on that. So he's kind of nuts Every time

he shows up like I just I can't stand listening

to him, but I Enthused about the idea of you

know Amel and I guess that they They've done

this before with other actors having Stephen

Amell kind of Or not Stephen Amell personally

but like other actors jump into the WWE to kind

of fight and then they make sure that they've

got backup so they don't get hurt for their regular

show, but So they're thinking that they're gonna

make this happen at like Summer Slam. I don't

know. Blanchard will know more about it, but

I think it'll be funny if he shows up in the

green arrow costume because it'll be not only

a publicity stunt for CW, but it also gives WWE

their ratings. I don't know if this was planned,

I'm assuming so. If not, it's a really good ploy

between the two. But I think it's funny nonetheless.

It's funny. It's just like, I mean, I used to

watch wrestling all the time, like 15 years ago.

I watched it when there was WCW and NWO. Nope.

I watched it like for a year. I think it was

like a year or two. I was watching it and I stopped

watching it when they did that. We're going to

do the draft. Do you remember that in the early

2000s? They were like we're gonna do a draft

and certain stars are gonna be on raw and certain

stars are gonna be on smackdown Like before like

when I started watching It was basically like

it was there, you know raw and smackdown was

just the difference in the names of the you know

Besides being just a different name It was like

all basically the same stuff like a storyline

would continue over to raw or something like

that And and and and vice versa but at a certain

point it was they decided to do this weird thing

and they were like we're gonna hold a We're gonna

hold a draft and we're gonna like these wrestlers

are only gonna be on raw and these wrestlers

are only gonna be on Smackdown and they'll meet

in Like they'll only come together for like WrestleMania.

So it's like if you like I liked watching two

nights a week of Wrestling because I got to see

like Triple H and The Rock and stuff like that

on both shows But then it was like no only one

show has one of the other like you don't get

a double dose of these people So I was like this

is just dumb now because I don't know what's

going so that's when I stopped And I have never

I have not regretted it I've never looked back.

I've not watched a single wrestling match since

then I've not watched any wrestling in the last

15 years, but I will probably catch the YouTube

or website replays of it when it comes out. More

so because I just want to see what happens. I

think it'll be entertaining because of the quote

unquote feud between the two. But I more so just

want to see what happens. I think it'll be entertaining.

I think the Stardust character is annoying as

hell, but if you saw it, he would drive you nuts

too. It's like nails on a chalkboard, the character,

but I would watch it solely for the reason that

Stephen Amell is in it. Next question, Caleb

Browning says on Facebook, do you think Gotham

has any chance of being better next season? I'm

not gonna know because I've stopped watching

it. I'm still watching but And we talked about

heroes already. Yeah, and it it kind of went

that direction Like it was going to be better

however I'm not quite sure I'm gonna say I'm

gonna give it the first like five episodes of

the second season and then I'll be able to better

gauge what I think I Think that show is one that

could be better lent to the 13 episode I just

I still can't get over my own Hang up with the

show that it just makes it look like Batman beats

up old people That has always been one of my

hang ups and the more characters they introduce

and they're not even like characters like Like

directly comparable to Bruce their compared their

characters their actors that are comparable to

Gordon so that's like like that's like Batman

beating up Commissioner Gordon like Where does

this like I don't know that's always been my

hang up with this show and there there's been

other missteps with the show that I've talked

about on here before. So I won't get into it,

but yeah, I have stopped watching it because

I just can't get over the one big thing that

I just can't get over is it just makes Batman

look like he beats up on old people, which makes

him not look that intimidating anymore. I I some

of the characters are are in the same range of

Bruce Wayne in the show. Within you know year

or two so you know for the most part except for

when they introduced mr.. Freeze this season

Harvey Dent supposed to be a friend of Bruce

Wayne's Yeah, well, and and he's older. He's

Gordon's age, and then they have Edward enigma

who's also Gordon's age and Jokers at least the

guy that got to play the jokers and probably

like five years older than Bruce Guess that's

not that that big of a big of a leap, but that's

not a big deal like I I Don't know. I just can't

I can't um yeah, I can't I Can't let that go

but mostly because it's like why aren't these

guys just all locked up in juvenile detention

Yeah, it'd be easy enough like I Don't know it's

I have no idea. I'm waiting, like I said. I'll

know better five episodes into the season, whether

it's going to be halfway decent or not. In order

to watch season two, I would have to finish season

one. I made it to the Christmas break and gave

up. I almost thought about picking it up when

they supposedly introduced the Joker. And I was

like, no, that would require me to watch four

or five episodes before I could get to that one.

And I don't want to do it. I think that's a red

herring. I don't think it's actually Joker. You

know, it's too obvious. You never know. Never

know. I mean, it could be. I'm hoping not. I

think I don't I don't have much faith in the

show, but I'll wait and see what happens and

then I'll let you know, because it could end

up being the scenario of like Arrow season one

to Arrow season two. I didn't care for season

one so much, so there was a turning point in

season one, though. And I stopped halfway through

right you stopped before the turning point Yeah,

I think it's the same scenario. I'm hoping anyway.

It could be very well the opposite direction

I Think the reason it got a second season is

because Netflix bought the rights to season one

They already had paid for it, but we talked about

that remember it was gonna get a full season

order because Netflix had already paid for the

rights to stream all all of season one some right

I Yeah, that's that's my reasoning for this getting

a season two it didn't get it because it was

good It got it because it just had money Cuz

it's already paid for yep, so little mini update

since some of the windows stuff is in the comments

I updated my computer at work to Windows 10.

Somehow I killed my start menu so it didn't load

anymore. Wasn't it supposed to add a start menu?

What's that? It was supposed to add a start menu,

wasn't it? Yeah, somehow I destroyed it. It worked

fine when I installed it, Windows 10, on the

Windows 7 machine, but somehow... It went away

It would never load again and the Microsoft Edge

browser disappeared and my one drive would not

load So I reverted the PC back to 7 My laptop

on the other hand that I have here It's also

a Dell but it has it's a 6 gig i3 instead of

a 4 gig i3 I upgraded that from Windows 8 .1

To to the 10 and it works flawlessly the only

thing I will mention is if you have a laptop

be aware of this it will do this the the laptops

overheat because Windows 10 for whatever reason

I mean it Windows runs like flawlessly I've not

seen Windows run that Smooth and in the page

files are about a fraction of the size that they

are in Windows 7 Like the page files are like

6 gigs in in Windows 7 and it's like 1 gig in

Windows 10 So it runs a lot leaner But one thing

I've noticed is it kills your battery On your

laptop it burns through it so much faster than

8 .1 did And it takes a lot longer to charge.

Whereas with 8 .1, I could charge my battery

in probably under an hour. That's because something's

throttling your processor. And I can't figure

out what. And I don't know why it's doing that,

because it takes the full three hours that the

battery life is to charge the battery. Help me

remember something here. You're talking about

the page files. That's like the swap disk, right?

Basically. Yeah. So the swap files are so much

smaller on 10, you know, it's funny I'm trying

to find an uptime for my for my system for my

computer real quick Windows 10 boots almost instantaneous

like a solid -state drive. I'm trying to See

here about this Mac Because I just I I've noticed

this before and I've called I've talked to a

guy from Apple about it and he was also surprised

about it, too power up time up time up time okay

I can't find it but I know my computer has been

on for at least a week if not two or more and

my swap files I have zero bytes huh it's because

I have 16 gigs of RAM so everything I do just

get stored in the RAM I have three and a half

gigs of cached files in system RAM. And then

I'm using another six just for various things.

I have my swap file, my page file in my Windows

7 at home for virtual memory is 12 gigs. Don't

know why I think it's all the shit I run but

I and my brand is eight gigs. So I Did I mention

this trick to you with the swap file you can

in the virtual memory when you're I Got this

from the screen savers way back in like 2000

When you're setting up a brand new computer with

a brand new hard drive you make a partition that

is twice the size you make your first partition

twice the size of what the actual ram is in your

computer okay you make that your swap file um

that's interesting because the arm doesn't have

to go as far to find the information Up to try

that next time I reformat I don't know if that's

like if that even still works that way But that's

I remember when I had a Windows computer. That's

one of the things that I I did So I've never

thought to do that It's one of the little tricks

that I I mean I can't do that with this a Mac

Yeah, so yeah, but Mac's just they don't need

all that mess That Windows holds They might I

don't know Don't know disc reads in out and yeah

disc reads in 200 ,000 disc reads out 43 ,000

oh Well oh Interesting yeah, I was I heard you

say that that cached file stuff. I think that's

what he means by swap files Yeah, they used to

call them swap files. They call them page files

and newer windows. I don't know. So anyways,

you're enjoying Windows 10? I haven't gotten

the notification of my Windows 7 tower to try

yet. I know that within the first 30 days, if

it doesn't work for you, you can revert. But

after the 30 days, you're kind of SOL, you'd

have to reformat. Do you know how much space

it takes up? No, I will check My laptop tomorrow

and then I'll report on it next week Because

I was I know that if you're doing there There's

two different methods if you're doing the upgrade

it just slaps it like it's a service update over

top of the old operating system Okay, so like

literally nothing gets lost. It's like if you've

upgraded from like Windows 7 home to Windows

7 Pro Essentially, it keeps everything exactly

the same just changes your Windows version and

whatever the features are Okay, so that's the

same basic gist of like anywhere from like if

you're upgrading anything from Windows 7 to 8

to 10 any of those upgrade the same way And then

if you have to downgrade it does the same thing

but you have to be careful because if you don't

do it right in the downgrade it It'll wipe out

everything. I might have to try that on my Mac

But I do know that if you install Windows 10

over top of your old OS and then you back up

all your stuff that you need, you have the option

while you're in Windows 10 to create a boot disk

on a flash drive. And Windows 10 literally fits

on a four gig flash drive. So it's still one

DVD. It's like three gigs and some change. But

that's before they added their recent service

release, which is basically a service pack. Wait

a second. Does it? That's crazy. It slaps over

top, but it's like an upgrade. But if you if

you want the cleanest, most pure Windows 10 experience

once it's scanned in your hardware. You can go

within Windows in the settings and it'll you

can set it to either a reformat your computer

and start with a fresh copy of Windows or you

can set it to Move everything over into a separate

folder like Windows dot old Which is what it

does when you upgrade anyway, and then it creates

a new instance And then you have to upgrade or

install all your software again, so It I'm not

really sure I might I think once I've updated

this computer to 10 then I've backed everything

up I'll try that method to see what it does because

I won't physically have a copy of 10 unless I

put it on the flash drive but yeah it's it I

know that if you change key components it it

D invalidates your Windows copy like your motherboard

I've heard that they let you do it but it doesn't

validate it Yeah, like you can like cuz I have

a I Have an off -the -beaten -path version of

Windows 7 and I can put Windows 10 on it, but

it's not gonna be validated Yeah So But yeah,

so Getting into the final Comment on the website

and was waiting for Windows 10 to be released.

Should I update to 10 or was a better version

Longtime listener, Brad. Having no experience

with Windows 10, but knowing that Vista is horrible,

I would at least try to get to 7. Honestly, I

would stick with 7. If you're on 7, there's really

not an incentive to move up. Yeah, 7's kind of

like Windows XP. Basically, it's it's like the

new XP, but it's so flawless. You don't even

see it right a blue screen Like I've never had

an issue with seven maybe once but it's it's

so perfect that it's It's self installs everything

is compatible with everything. It just it runs

better I'm not saying ten doesn't run faster

or load faster do some things But there's still

not enough incentive to move to ten yet And if

you buy 7, you still get the free upgrade to

10 for the first year. So if you decide to try

it out, you can always try it. And if you don't

like it, you can revert. But I would go with

7, because they're still going to support it

till 2020 anyway. I knew there were stipulations

with Windows 10. I just didn't know what they

all were. Well, it doesn't support any of the

NVIDIA graphics drivers for the most part. There's

certain ones that it supports, but there's a

lot of them it doesn't. But other than that,

there's that and... Like if you're playing the

built -in Windows games like Solitaire, or you

want to play a DVD on there, you got to pay.

Because they've built it like the Android or

iPhone market now. So any of the apps that you

want, you have to pay for, or any of the games

that you play, you can play them for free, but

they're going to have ads unless you want to

pay. Right. So they're giving Windows itself

away for free to 7 and 8 and 8 .1 users, kind

of like in the vein of Apple and Android giving

away updates to their OS. You see, but I don't

have a single ad in my operating system. No,

and Windows 10 does. I don't get that. And...

There's a hidden feature built into Windows 10,

which I've been reading about everything over

the past week. And just like the battery issue,

there's another thing I found out. With the Windows

update, you can't shut it off. You can defer

the update till later, but you can't shut it

off. It also has the ability that if there's

a certain critical update, it can reboot after

it updates, no matter what the hell you're doing.

There's no way to defer that either. And there's

also a feature that you have to disable manually

that if you get a Windows update, basically what

it can do is it can take that update and it can

help distribute it to other people waiting for

that update. So it takes the load off Microsoft

servers and kind of turns to like a peer -to

-peer type thing where it uses your bandwidth.

You can turn it off, but it's on by default.

Just a couple of little hidden things. So like

I said, I would stick with seven There's there's

no Hidden agenda built into it. It's it's what

it is Unless you like being on the bleeding edge

and playing with stuff, which I did it just you

probably don't Yeah, I I know that all my software

is still compatible with it So that I have going

for me, but I don't I Think seven would be more

sufficient If you're going to do a gaming PC,

I would make sure you get at least an i5. I have

an i3, and it's kind of a little bit slow. And

I'm playing Battlefield with my brothers and

my dad sometimes. That's probably the most graphic

intense game I have on this PC. And I have 8

gigs of RAM. Honestly, that'd probably do you

fine too. I have an i3 in here and it works fine

I have an old I have a probably a five -year

-old GeForce card and it's got like 640 megabytes

of RAM and they sell 4 gig cards now So you could

probably do with a 2 gig card easily I'll try

and put together a better More comprehensive

thing where I basically build a PC and then I

have it as like an image on the episode post

for next week as well. But I would definitely

go with Windows 7. I would get at least 8 gigs

of RAM. I'd get an i5 and like at least a 2 gig

GeForce card and a solid state drive or a hybrid

drive at least so that Windows is on the hybrid

part and your games on the other part. See I

just can't, I can't do the build your computer

thing. Like I just don't know what it is like

I always go overboard because I can't just I

can't build a starting a starting spot Like I

would rather put in the upfront cost for something

that's gonna last me probably about as long as

a console will rather than put together something

and then have to Like because I know I will I

would tinker the ever -loving out of it Well

see what I like to do is I butcher my old systems

Like my blu -ray player or not blu -ray player

DVD burner I take from my old system my hard

drives I take from my old system and I moved

all of that over my RAM I typically take to a

computer shop because you can trade it in most

more often than not your old RAM and get new

RAM and I spend the most money on my motherboard

because I get something that's not only compatible

with the low end of whatever I'm trying to get,

but it's also highly upgradable. Like my motherboard

has HDMI built into it, so I can run dual monitor

with my video card and the onboard video, so

I actually have a gig between both. And then

I have USB 3 .0, In the back so I have six USB

ports in the back with toggles for two in the

front I have I have It's got you know the Ethernet

the Wi -Fi built -in I've got it so that I can

get an i3 or I can go to an i7 I can get up to

32 gigs of RAM. It's and it's you know the SATA

and I can get and this is like a You know kind

of a smaller. It's like a mini ATX or a micro

ATX or something like that I can't remember the

technical term, but I spend the most of my motherboard

I spend like 150 bucks on it, and then I get

my processor for about 100 120 and then I Kind

of nickel -dime little stuff from there on out

So it's I definitely would spend the most of

the motherboard if you're gonna go that route

if you're not gonna go that route Would look

for whatever the minimum requirements are of

your whatever you're trying to play and go like

one notch above it If you want to be at least

in that realm Because you don't want to be the

bare minimum of whatever your game is because

it's gonna run like crap right, so but something

interesting here I Just wanted to um look into

the AMD Processor that I told you about at my

wedding. Yes to see if they had improved them

at all And I don't know when new eggs started

doing this or if they've always done this and

I've never noticed it But I just went to the

processor and then I went down to the like you

go. It's like you you may be interested in these

things they basically priced out Like I just

said I wanted this processor and they went through

and priced out a case RAM motherboard hard drive

and power supply and said, if you get all this

stuff, you can build a computer. And it's like

a cart ready to go. And it's not bad stuff either.

It's 16 gigs of RAM, a one terabyte hard drive,

a 120 gig solid state drive, the case, the power

supply, motherboard, and the processor that I

picked out. And it's like 500 bucks. That's actually

a really good deal I was I mean there's no graphics

card, but the chip that I was telling you about

has a great the integrated card in it is The

ATI yeah, it's an ATI Integrated graphics thing

if that uses the you know like integrated cards

do they'll use the RAM that you have available

To make them run, but That's not bad. I think

next time I find myself with a little bit of

money. I might try this again I'm I will say

I'm I'm very biased towards Intel, but that's

because I've always had Intel I was I I was up

there like Intel Nvidia and stuff like that right

up until this console generation when ATI and

AMD took over both systems and when that I, the

way I see it, I don't know if this is how it

works, but the way I see it is if that's where,

if that's where games are being developed for,

then that's, you know, they're going to run,

they're going to run optimally on that hardware

in a computer as well. I mean, but the other

way to look at it is if you have a nice Nvidia

card or an Intel card, you can brute force anything,

right? You can, you can, everything will run

on everything. It's just, you know, how much

is it optimized for it? How much are you, you

know, How much overhead are you using to make

it run on said thing? It's not you know the end

-all be -all I just plus I like the They you

know they say that the integrated graphics card

is a radion in these AMD cards versus Intel being

their Intel's integrated graphics are not that

great So that's the only reason I was looking

at these Plus this one's a quad core versus that

try the one that I told you about two years ago

was only a like a three core processor Yeah,

and this one's a quad core with four with four

gigahertz So, I don't know yeah, I just found

that so I but yeah I always have such a hard

time when it comes to building a computer because

one I don't really need it and I know I'll never

stop tinkering with it Yeah, I I constantly tweak

my machine. It's never, I'm never done. It's

just. And I can't, I can't do that. It's like

crack to me. I will like, my wife will probably

end up divorcing me if I ended up getting one

of those. Cause I'll spend so much time trying

to fix it rather than working on my marriage.

I luckily can upgrade every now and again. Thankfully,

the recent build was due to my wife being nice.

The DVD burner that's in it, I actually bought

six years ago. I'm surprised it still works.

It's a combo drive. But, and one of the hard

drives is old. I bought that probably four years

ago. Maybe five, I don't know. And then the other

one's like maybe two years old. A lot of the

stuff in the machine's like two years old, but...

It still runs pretty much everything I want and

it's an i3 8 gigs of ram And then I have a six

-year -old video card and it still runs everything

So yeah, well my my macbook's no slouch either

like I have a windows partition if there's something

I want to play I'll just go over there and play

it like I have not had any problems playing something

So and it's like out of sight out of mind until

I want to use it So it's not like i'm constantly

tinkering with it That's not a bad thing though

Nope. I would be honest, if I had extra money,

I would be tinkering with it all the time because

it's been bothering me. I want to upgrade it

because to the 32 gigs of RAM just to do it.

Yeah, just just because you can. That's the same

reason I put 16 gigs of RAM in my computer, because

that was the highest it could go. And the other

thing, too, is I will if I ever did build a gaming

computer or just a computer, I would be looking

at graphics cards all the time. And there's,

you know, I can justify spending four or $500

on a console every five to 10 years. But graphics

cards, like good ones outpace the costs sometimes

just as much, if not more than a console. And

it's like, oh, I know that I would fall down

that hole. And I'm just like trying to like keep

myself away from it. Oh, yeah, like I I want

to do the the solid state and I want to get the

this the 32 gigs of RAM just because need to

do computer builder anonymous Yeah, it's and

then have somebody fund us That would be horrible
