Invasion! Heroes Vs Aliens Review

Hello as you find people are hearing this I'm

probably on a plane at this moment because I'm

going out to California for Christmas with Jen

and her family and all that stuff and First time

I've traveled since 2012 so First time I've ever

traveled. I think beyond the the Mississippi

River So there's that too because I've never

been out west to my knowledge. I Thought you're

not you could be floating down a river like a

log so I Yeah, I went over Niagara Falls in a

barrel once And you live to tell about it, I'm

still here aren't I you're wearing the Adam suit

no No, no, no, no, no So so yeah, it's it's holiday

time. It's Christmas time and You know, we got

all this stuff going on. I've got a ton of podcast

production I've been doing the last two months

or anything else so you guys could have content

while I'm out in California having fun and taking

almost a full month break from podcasting even

though I've been doing all this stuff and working

towards getting all this content ready for while

I'm gone, but it's like Jen and I, we might record

stuff while I'm out there, for like, Tooncast

or something like that, but, and Doug and I will

probably record stuff for his show, but other

than that, I'm pretty much going to be podcasting

free for about 30 days, which is going to be

kind of crazy. Hey, that's cool. Yeah. You, on

the other hand, new job. Yep. Still going strong.

Yep. School's kicking your ass. School can go

burn in fire. Yeah, not literally, but I'm just

done So done You graduate next year, right? I

graduate in May. Yeah. Well, that's nice. I am

done Do not want to be there anymore Captain

Professor useless is still showing up to class

but does nothing and then the other guy has been

doing stuff and then I'm I've managed to cut

a 30 minute Interview clip thing down to I knocked

it down to 12 minutes the other day. Mm -hmm

I've managed to knock it from there down to four

minutes and 53 seconds or for somewhere around

that vicinity It has to be between three and

six minutes. Mm -hmm And I was like, I really

don't want to mess with this anymore. And I managed

to do exactly what I set out to do. So I got

it below the six -minute mark. It may get shorter.

It just depends on how I feel. Because the longer

it is, the more B -roll I have to put in. And

we have to go over it with the teacher on Wednesday,

the same day as our exam. Yeah, I'm On the one

hand looking forward to Getting closer to being

done, but I don't really want to have to do the

project anymore I'm kind of done with the semester

and I Want some kind of a because like I feel

overloaded right yeah between Actually getting

involved with like a hundred percent with my

work now But uh I just I don't want I Don't know

I guess I just don't want to be like overwhelmed

anymore Yeah, and that's part of it is I'm dealing

with school at the same time So yeah, let me

you know the more I think about it the more you

talk about it I mean, this is the same thing

as what you know what would happen when we were

kids I mean, when I was a kid, my mom was running

around with a chicken, like a chicken with her

head cut off, you know, doing, you know, house

cleaning jobs and various things and whatever

else. My dad worked like, even though they were

divorced when I was two, my dad worked like three

jobs every single day. That was just that generation,

you know, that was just that era. And that's

the same thing now. You know, you talk about

high stress areas, you've got a wife and two

kids. You got a new job that the website helped

you get. And you know, you got school, and school

is finishing up, you got what? You got about

six months left or so. Somewhere in that vicinity.

Well, December to May, I figure, six, eight months,

whatever. It's 10 o 'clock at night, people.

I'm not going to do math at almost 10, 11 o 'clock

at night. So there's just a lot of things that

are... Turning and turning and it's that time

of year that we all not just you, but we all

just want to just kind of relax I mean so I understand

about getting you know overloaded and burnt out

and whatever else. I'll tell you for me After

all the stuff. I've recorded and edited in the

last two months. I almost at the end of this

year I almost never want to see a podcast again

So yeah So this episode yes this episode of we

were gonna be talking The legends of the brave

of the bold. Yes. I called the yeah Yeah, I came

and have you sign this before City Council went

into mutiny, but that can totally wait count

me in For what I thought you were tired. Yeah,

but it's it's aliens Oh, that is so cute. You

guys are just gonna get together and go fight

some aliens. Have you lost your mind? They're

aliens, and there's only four of you. Not if

we get Stein and, you know, all the others. They're

calling themselves the legends. Egotistical,

but catchy. Do you know who they are? I know

where they were. For those that don't know what

that is, it's our CW TV recap. Yeah, segment,

which will kind of be its own thing later on.

Next year, yes Yes, and in this episode the reason

why we're doing this now is because it's timely

and we haven't really had a chance to talk about

the DC TV shows like we used to because scheduling

changes and things like that were when we normally

record on Monday or Wednesday now and the DC

shows usually even when we recorded on Thursdays

we could never get all four shows in one episode

because we would never be able to see Legends

right away you know because we you know don't

actually watch it live but yeah so last week

Legends was available uh... uh... eric dcv arrowverse

had the invasion crossover all four shows supergirl

flash arrow and legends and crossed over and

is technically it was three out of the four because

the supergirl episode they had plans thirty seconds

well and i understand that i'd get that they

were trying to show you hey something's happening

during the episode and supergirl still had to

deal with what was going on in her own universe

there um so yeah it was the last 30 seconds but

um She already knew it was Barry and Cisco because

they had tried to open up the port because they

tried to open up the portals beforehand and as

soon as I saw the thing I knew what it was even

though I knew that the shows were crossing over

I just wasn't sure how they were gonna do it

if Barry was gonna put on the tacky on thing

and run again or if they were gonna use Cisco

which Cisco is such a nice McGuffin now Cisco

is an asshole in like two -thirds of this crossover

pretty much until he does exactly what he yelled

at Barry for. Exactly. And then he's like, I'm

a dick too. I changed the timeline. And Stein's

like, I changed the timeline. And Barry's like,

I changed the timeline. But yeah, that's the

only important part. Everybody changed the damn

timeline and then Sarah's like I have to fight

every day not to change the time line That was

a nice little So we started on Supergirl part

of Supergirl Supergirl story is apparently her

father on Krypton created the Medusa virus and

it's to kill any non Kryptonian people and whatever

else and uh... cadmus wants to get a hold of

that and we find out that uh... at first i thought

lena was going to be with her mom but you know

we find out that he has a sneaky sister and she

wasn't yeah but i still didn't fully unknown

that yeah and other areas again luthers yeah

luthers are uh... are are luthers And then, you

know, so we had all that. We had the whole thing

with Mon -El and Kara kissing, because he was

also injured in this thing. We had Thanksgiving.

So the original Supergirl, Helen Slater, returns

as Kara's mom, Eliza. So we had that and, man,

I'd love to have Supergirl on my Thanksgiving

dinner. It takes less than 10 seconds to heat

vision a turkey. That works for me. I thought

that was so hilarious. Yep. And then at the end,

we have the cliffhanger of, you know, hey, remember

last year when you said, you know, what are we

up against? And it leads into flash. I thought

the Supergirl episode was very good as including

it as far as saying it's part of the crossover,

I understand why people all around the world

and the internet and half of our friends and

I don't know if you'll say this or not, it's

really not part of the crossover but I think

of it more as a lead -in. It's not even really

a lead -in because actually Flash is the lead

-in. She's like the intermediary part before

they... Actually get full throttle into the thing.

Yeah, she's kind of like the prologue to a book

But yeah, so speaking of flash before we get

too far into invasion part two here with flash.

I was right I Knew I was gonna be right with

that. So last time we talked about flash. It

was they had revealed Savitar the speed God they

had kind of but not really revealed Dr. Alchemy

and as soon as I saw the episode before this

episode like the next day I think I messaged

you on Twitter I was like so did you watch flash

last night cuz I was right friggin Julian is

Dr. Alchemy are you kidding me I knew he was

from the first time I saw both of them oh did

you okay see I wasn't exactly sure it was so

like almost obvious and you knew he wasn't pulling

the strings anyway so it didn't really you know

i didn't know if he was the one pulling the strings

until i saw uh the the rival get like slaughtered

right in his his cage with nobody noticing right

so uh Yeah, I kind of figured that he wasn't

the lone dog anymore and he was following orders

so Yeah, I just I Knew that Julian was gonna

be a part of it. Yeah, I figured he would be

Because he was so and the reason why I knew he

was gonna be is because He was so anti -meta

human like I hate them all you know and come

to find out dude you're the villain or you're

the you're the darth vader to his uh his emperor

there so what is this place it's this old hall

hanger thing that star lab zones or i guess i

own it wait you should do something with it all

right so let me get this right our um time traveling

buddies in a flying time ship are supposed to

just pop up right here right yeah this is the

time place i gave them so if they got my message

they should be here You know I've never done

drugs. Because I was always afraid I'd see weird

stuff. Take everybody inside, all right? Tell

Oliver I'll be right back. Where are you going?

Well, since we're fighting aliens, I figured

we should get one of our own, right? You found

the right Earth? Taki on device tracked you on

Earth 38 when you met her, so you should find

her there. All right. Just so you know, I'm only

doing this because we're on a mission. I'm not

gonna let my issues with you get in the way of

that. This might take a few tries. This better

be in the right place. Because if this isn't

the right place, someone's about to be real confused.

Barry! Hey! I knew it! I knew that was you! Took

a couple tries to get here. This is my friend,

Cisco. Well, friend is a loose term. We work

together. Hi, Cisco. I have to say it. This is

a nice universe you got here. Thank you. Do you

remember last year when I helped you out and

you promised to do the same for me? What are

we up against? So Flash Invasion episode, I really

dug this. This had so much coolness into it.

It almost felt like it was a two hour episode

of Flash. They packed so much into this and they

did it so well. Yeah, it was like a three hour

episode of Flash. I love how they started out,

Barry. This is all your fault really that's what

you're going with yeah This is all you because

I didn't know what the heck was going on And

I love when shows start like that where they

start with the sometimes it bugs me They'll start

at a moment, and then they'll go ten hours before

which is what they did here this well CW does

that a lot no because they they do that was supernatural

a lot too mm -hmm I mean, I didn't mind it here

because it worked very well. I thought it was

really awesome, so You know, so I thought that

was great. So we go 10 hours earlier and We you

know find out about these dominators and aliens

and they disrupt various communications with

the team and Got to bring Lila in and all these

other governmental people and everything else

and I just love the whole scene where where felicity's

like you're not gonna do this by yourself are

you no no i didn't you know i'm gonna go get

some people and you know we get the team up we

get oh it's just so good to see everybody team

arrow is here team legends is here is that everyone

i think so nate and amyre back watching the wave

rider the newbies that was cool guys Thanks for

coming very I thought you were bringing an alien

and yeah We did everybody. This is my friend

Cara Danvers or if she's not on her earth Supergirl

what makes us so super well I'm convinced Everybody

on and how they came in how each of them came

in like Barry running through and saving Oliver

and Dig, and him having to go get Supergirl of

the Legends coming in with the Wave Rider. I

loved all that stuff. I thought that was very

well executed. And then the reveal of the Dominators

is just so cool. What did you think at this point

when they had to go get, basically forge the

team here? Well, I really enjoyed it. Could not

wait for them to assemble. I liked That they

finally gave Adam his suit back I liked that

They had all four the teams even though they

were very dysfunctional bunch and then Rory's

like I'm not following everybody. I'm I need

one guy to listen to mm -hmm and then They're

like Oliver and Oliver's like this is your thing

you you do it and then Barry's like well, um

Oliver coaches and Oliver coaches and then Sarah's

like we're just supposed to pretend that we can't

hear him, too That was funny That's so funny,

but yeah the um the way that it played out was

pretty cool and then Oliver's distrust of Supergirl

yeah, yeah, but I like how they played with the

The whole aspect of The the Dominators and why

they're there and it's all Barry's fault yep

again Yep, pretty everything this season is Barry's

fault for everyone. Uh -huh and You know Some

people knew and say well so on on team flash

some people knew and some people didn't know

that Barry had changed the timeline like Felicity's

team arrow, but Felicity knew because he had

told her initially and then I think Caitlin and

everybody else came to learn it and apparently

well because of the whole yeah because of everybody

him saying events of flashpoint things like that

and it just seems to me that this new universe

cisco is just such a hard ass until this episode

because look we get it barry changed the timeline

your brother is dead not alive we understand

that we mourn your loss but you know like come

on now there's nothing we could do about it at

this point um But you know as you said but by

the end of it Cisco kind of learns learns his

lesson and kind of comes back into the fold I

Just love seeing all these guys work together.

I love seeing Oliver and and Barry Against everybody

that was awesome That was pretty funny actually

um Then they fix them despite the dominators

Might control well how they fix him is amazing

though? Yeah, why I choose a supergirl to do

it Yeah, so they It gets her mad he gets her

he crashes through the transponder well the reason

why she crashes through the transponder is he

gets her so mad that she's flying around, he's

running around, he just stops, and he's just

standing there, and she's gonna fly at him, but

he's vibrating at super speed. So she just passes

right through him, and basically she destroys

the mind control thing. Hopefully this is not

just me, but the image of Sarah when her mind

control thing went away. Is it just me, or did

her forehead get like the size of the Grand Friggin'

Canyon? in that shot. I don't know if it did

or not. You don't have to take a screenshot.

Yeah, it looked really weird. I mean, I don't

want to focus on Sarah's forehead all the time,

but it just, I don't know. That whole thing just

looked really strange. So we get everybody back.

And we go to fight the Dominators and the episode

for Flash kind of ends with the Dominators kidnapping

all the non -metahumans and aliens. Basically

all of the original Team Arrow. Yep, pretty much.

So they got Arrow, Diggle, Thea, Rey, and Sarah.

Yep. And that's kind of how Flash ended. Mean,

I know it normally takes five seasons, but this

was arrows 100th episode Yeah, that was kind

of kind of a cool nod there, and it was I managed

to bring everyone back Yeah, and they kind of

did like a perchance to dream with Batman Yeah,

most like it was saying very tasteful in the

sense that they gave Oliver and everyone else

a opportunity to see how things should go or

should have gone However, you know Obviously

things didn't go that direction and then they

all start kind of quasi remembering and I think

it was hilarious that dig was the green arrow

or the hood And then you know everybody kind

of had to come to grips with the fact that none

of this was real and decide to leave and Thea

didn't want to yeah, and then dig gets hurt and

then the the dream and he has to leave and then

the wave rider comes cruising in and picks them

up. Which was just spectacular. And then they're

like, oh great, time ship. And then of course

drop them all back off on Earth. Well yeah, see

that's the thing. So they escape the dream world.

They're on the ship. They then have to find an

escape pod or something. and they find this this

dropship on the alien ship and they somehow managed

to figure out how to get it to drop and then

like you said the way rider comes in with its

tracker beam and whatever else and just kind

of zoomed off I gotta say I said I said this

on on Facebook I said after I watched this episode

of arrow I said this is by far the best episode

of the entire series to this point I haven't

had this much fun with this Arrow specific storyline

since season one and season two. Everything came

together in this one episode. I love how they

have to mention Walter, but they never actually

show him. So fun. And then Legends. Since we

learned of them, we've been calling them the

Dominators. We can't do this alone. I don't plan

to. Guys, thanks for coming. This is Kara Danvers,

Supergirl. I went back in time and changed the

timeline. It's called Flashpoint, and now things

here are different than before I left. You just

erased a daughter from my life? He took it upon

himself to change the timeline, and because of

it, my brother was killed. There's no amount

of... Feeling bad. I could never make up for

that. I'm having memories of a stranger, but

she's not really a stranger. What if when you

interact with the younger self in 1987 you inadvertently

changed my past? You're back! Oh, it's so good

to see you. I love you, Dad. We call Lila. Tell

her these dominators aren't here peacefully.

Maybe they chose us because we couldn't fight

back. Because none of you are meta -human. What

is their plan? The phrase loosely translates

to we are nearing completion of the weapon I

Can't believe it you guys escaped an alien spaceship

keywords alien spaceship. I have questions. They

can wait legends is It's a nice little ending

to it all They basically bring in Sector 7 they're

just missing John Totoro oops well I'm afraid

this the um there was pulled like almost a They

make character like this an agents of shield

mm -hmm that went back to the Captain America

timeline like he was From that era and then was

really old in the modern day kind of thing mm

-hmm so in that sense I kind of see it like that,

but I do see it kind of like a sector seven in

a sense But they I like that they they were like

we signed the treaty with them to leave us alone,

but they want Barry Allen. Yeah. And then Cisco's

like, I saved the guy that's coming after us.

He's kind of a dick. And then he realizes he

screwed up and he's like, oh, I can't fault Barry

anymore. And so he just, he ends up helping Barry

and everything is kind of back to normal. And

yeah. So I mean, it's, it's, it's really cool

how the whole thing plays out. Yeah, and the

thing with the legends episode is we have more

time travel in not inconsistencies, but paradox

I because Lily Stein's daughter Yeah, the daughter

he would never had before until the week before

they went to 1987 and he basically talked his

younger self into Paying more attention to his

wife now. They don't actually say in the invasion

episode But they make it Sound like, um, Clarissa

is not alive. Like Stein consistently mentions

his wife and, and Lily at one point when they

first meet, when, uh, Caitlin and Stein go to

the house, she, she, Lily says, Oh, you know,

she's not here. So I'm kind of wondering if his

timeline change that he did basically. gave him

a daughter, but his wife is no longer there.

Or maybe they're divorced. Something. We find

out what the Dominators' plans are. They basically

fear metahumans, they basically fear other alien

super -powered people, and that they're going

to eventually destroy... the entire universe

or their planet or whatever else. So they basically

build a metahuman bomb to kill all the metas

on earth. Okay then. So Firestorm has to do the

dirty work. Quite literally, he has to clean

up the dirty bomb. He has to absorb it. I really

dig Firestorm here. I mean, I like Jax and Stein

by themselves, but when they're together as Firestorm,

I really dig it because you have two very different

personalities coming together and having to work

together for the common good, and I really dig

how they work together. Also part of the plan

here is to have Barry and Supergirl, Barry and

Kara run around and fly around the world to get

all the dominators to have these... things that

Stein made up, inhibitors or wherever they're

supposed to be. And I love Felicity. Good work

planting Professor Stein's nano weapons, but

we still got dominators all over the country.

This looks like a job for Supergirl. Thanks Felicity.

I'm not the least bit insulted. Sorry, I meant

Supergirl and Flash. This is totally a job for

the both of you. That's what I meant, Supergirl

and Flash. Thought that was hilarious I know

a lot of people over the years have been kind

of eh on Felicity But I think where I enjoy her

most is when she's in a situation like this With

Barry with with team flash with all these other

people the funny part is when they're all partying

and she's like And Supergirl is in like her Kara

outfit. Yeah Kara out Kara mode Felicity's like

wow doesn't she look like somebody you know You

know basically it's sitting here that at her

and then raised like kind of reminds me of my

cousin Mm -hmm, and then she's like looking at

him like you you you slept with me genius like

you don't Well no no that's no when when Ray

said it looks like she kind of reminds her of

She kind of reminds her of his cousin I don't

know that's what Kara said No, it's a race that

about Kara Oh, okay, cuz it's it's some sort

of Superman reference. Yeah. Well, yeah, it was

kind of that way, but yeah Yeah, the um Ray said

it and then in Felicity looks at Ray like hey

And then I loved what Cisco did for Supergirl

mm -hmm making her the Portable yep breach program

Yep, that was awesome. So she could open up her

own breach and come back. Yep. Whenever needed

or make a call. So that just means that she's

a phone call away from Earth 38. Yeah. Well,

you know, they're on Earth 38 and then there's

like Earth 3 is with Jay Garrick and then Earth

2 is with Harry and then and Jesse and then Earth

1 is this one. Yep. Well, you know, I know what

they're setting up there when Cisco gave her

that. I've heard rumors, and I've heard, I've

seen things online saying that at some point

in Supergirl Season 2 or Flash Season 3, there's

going to be a crossover musical episode where

Benoist and Grant get to sing because they were

both on Glee. Now, Grant has already sung, he

sang in Season 2 with Caitlin, but I have seen

online that that is supposedly supposed to happen

this year. So I wonder if John Jones and Cal

L will be there See that was the other thing

like this is a super huge invasion. I understood

so very not coming I I do I do understand that

John Jones. Yeah Well, he was still dealing with

his white Martian change. Oh, he's healed Okay.

All right. Yeah, you didn't see Supergirl. Yeah.

No, I saw Supergirl. They healed him with the

same uh... stuff that there is in the way about

the aliens uh... right they get a reverse engineered

it yeah uh... danvers mother comes up with uh...

you know the cure by reverse engineering absolutely

spectacular yes as it is uh... so yeah that's

that's the crossover folks and dang was it good

It was really awesome. I can't wait to see more

stuff like this. In the future, I hope that we

get some more not only awesome stuff in the sense

of More crossovers, but I hope that we can see

some heroes that For instance, I would like to

see a Batman show up And a Nightwing and some

of those other characters because we do have

you know, they have mentioned, you know Gotham

they have mentioned Wayne Industries in both

timelines They have mentioned, well I mean they've

mentioned Gotham and Supergirls and then they've

mentioned Wayne Industries and the Flash timeline

and so like I wonder what universe he's gonna

be in and exist and you know just not. Basically

it would be nice to see him be used even if it

were from another Earth where he doesn't necessarily

have to take part in the major storyline but

it could be like an offshoot storyline. Alright,

absolutely. Well, you could do like Batman of

Xernar and I mean, there's so many different

Batman versions that you could use I know I'm

like hanging on that that one thread there But

I also I expect Green Lantern to show up at some

point. Mm -hmm because they have mentioned the

Ferris air. Yep, which was destroyed Yeah, I

just don't know who they would like if they're

gonna use how or if they're gonna use Kyle if

they're gonna eat like that's the other thing

like which which Sex sector two eight one. I'm

guessing they would go with hell, you know They

might go with hell, but this this would be an

interesting difference here. Mm -hmm And just

go with me on this thought Diggle That's great.

Oh you you mean you do the john steward effect

but have diggle be so you so what you're saying

is that don't have john steward is that they

will become because he's x military just like

john steward answer and it would actually make

a perfect sense for him to be a green lantern

yeah and it's better than having him be spartan

i mean don't get me wrong i i i i like john i

think he's a great character i love the character

I just... He needs to stop trying to be Judge

Dredd. That's really what he needs to stop trying

to be. He's gotta let it build up hatred right

have the mid -season finales coming up and I

wasn't sure if Invasion wasn't going to be like

I almost think they ought of have left us at

the end of that with everything kind of wrapped

up. But we do have one more episode for each

show for the mid -season finale. uh... for supergirl

we've got supergirl lives which is a play on

kevin smith's uh... superman lives thing and

he's actually going to be directing this episode

uh... cuz he wrote uh... script for the unproduced

film superman lives so that's what's happening

on supergirl on flash we've got the presence

of something's gonna be happening with with flash

in the present and jay garrick and all that stuff

on arrow we have what we leave behind So that's

probably gonna be some sort of reflection more

reflection because that's the one thing about

the arrow part of invasion They did more character

development for Oliver Queen in that one episode

than they've done in five friggin years I Wouldn't

say five years. I just said the last two Maybe

and then legends they're gonna do the Chicago

way Captain cold Captain Gold returns dun dun

dun. I think Supergirl I think that was the season

finale or Not season finale midseason. Oh, okay

Yeah, I don't think because I don't see a teaser

for another episode Yeah, and the date for Supergirl

lives did not actually show up. So Yeah, I guess

Medusa was the midseason. Huh? That's always

weird But anyway, we got one more week of Flash

Arrow and Legends. So yeah, like I said, for

me overall, I know there are a few problems people

might have with the overall crossover of Invasion,

but the whole thing... i can give it a four -and

-a -half i really don't get i thought it was

all well and good and there's so many quotable

lines from each of those episodes well yeah i

mean like you know uh... felicity walks in and

then you know she's like i'm right there i was

gonna have you sign this before the board started

revolting but you know aliens tell me in you're

retired but you have it it's it's aliens but

I can't wait until Nate on Legends steal I can't

wait till he gets a better suit I can't wait

until Cisco upgrades his damn suit because I'm

sorry there's a picture of the team during I

think it's during Legends that I actually grabbed

it I might have to put it in the post but there's

a picture of the team you get Firestorm Supergirl

great moments, like in Flash when they show up,

when he and Supergirl show up. You know So everybody

Honestly, he does actually call her supergirl

though cuz he did get in trouble I think the

main thing people had a problem with when it

came to the arrow the the team arrow the recruits

was what's his name? Renee where he's like, oh,

I hate all you metahuman alien people and then

like five seconds later when when he got saved

he's like oh yeah you guys are right in my book

so i i know people kind of complained about that

but there's still so much awesome here to not

really focus on just one bad character moment

oh yeah i it was still it was a great episode

or like series of episodes um i yeah i i I had

a lot of fun watching it and I Can't wait till

because you know, they're gonna package. This

is a special DVD set. Oh, absolutely And I'm

going to have it because it's awesome. I Love

the thing in arrow where where Sarah's like It's

not like I'm an assassin or anything Oh, yeah,

that was great and then her and Ray, you know

Ray's kind of giving you giving her the googly

eyes and Dina's like Laurel's like are you sure

you're just into girls? It was all so funny it

was so awesome and arrow we didn't really talk

about arrow with bringing the villain you got

you got Deathstroke you got Merlin you got Crap

Dark you got all those all those awesome villains

over the seasons. That was really really cool.

Oh Yeah, I mean I I There was so much good stuff

going on and so many cameos on this stuff that

it just they were like Hey, let's have a giant

playground and see what happens. Mm -hmm They're

like this put all they're like everybody in the

pool Right trap Yes, I I know if he says everybody

out of the pool, but yeah But yeah, I mean I

was just like in shock about how good this was

like this whole setup and The the other thing

I loved about it is as each of the episodes progressed

You had various logo changes like for the flash

episode you had the soup flash supergirl legends

and arrow Logos like all superimposed over each

other for the arrow episode you had all five

years of the versions of arrows logo all the

different incarnations of that and Legends one

of the legends do They did all the logos floating

into the same logo. That's that's what it was.

I took a screenshot of it on my phone. Oh, yeah

Oh god, it was so good and then at the end of

each one They're like to be continued on the

flash to be continued on arrow to be continued

on legends Each of those episodes is just so

great. It's by like I've enjoyed all the crossover

stuff and I enjoy almost all of the shows at

least three out of the four of them and um...

yeah everything just melded together so well

you still have all the issues from each show

you still have all the character issues i mean

they kinda resolve the cisco berry issue which

is great uh... and we didn't even really talk

about the whole subplot for flash with wally

and everything else i think that's gonna be interesting

i wonder how long They're going to drag Wally's

story out before he actually gets to suit up.

I don't know, but I think it's kind of lame if

they don't get to it soon. Well, by the end of

the season, I would think. It should be a lot

sooner than that, since they've just had Jesse

do it, and now him. Yeah. Yeah, they're kind

of pushing that envelope a little bit. A little

bit slow. So, we'll see. Yep, we'll see, we'll

see. Next week. I don't know what we're doing

next week because I'll be out in California So

I'll be sitting at the beach podcasting from

guy sounds like spot on Luke at that age. They

have another one that's like bushes of love and

it's got like Obi -Wan and some other people

and then they've got another like I like all

their bad lip reading stuff. They've got one

that's like not the future there's there's a

lot of them but like this is probably their best

music one They've got like the rest of them are

kind of I don't know. I didn't really like them,

but This one had me the first time I saw it flow

through on on my Twitter feed. I just I couldn't

stop laughing Yeah, this is gonna be your new

narwhals Yeah, this is actually better I Could

not help it at all But narwhal so But uh yeah,

so I mean I'll probably have another episode

of alter geek coming out soon probably pertaining

with the The news version of the show and then

I know I said wouldn't do that until after the

new year But I'm gonna experiment with it. So

let's see what happens. So Anything you'd like

trailer And alpha 5 looks like a freaking donut

You know I I am in such a mode right now of doing

like I've noticed various things like I think

I think this happened a week ago the guy who

created the Big Mac passed away so McDonald's

Big Mac sandwich that guy who created that originally

passed away, but I really have not like this

giant four episode crossover was kind of like

my swan song for the final week that I'm actually

gonna be at home before I go on vacation and

the rest of this time I am just production machine

at this point in the last and I think I said

this last episode in the last two and a half

months I've edited over 35 different podcasts

and I still have like 10 left to do and getting

all this content done and and everything else

so I paid attention to the news but when it comes

to trailers unless I see it right away as soon

as somebody like I wouldn't have probably seen

the Transformers trailer until the next day,

but I saw that Proto Man had posted it. I'm like,

OK, I'll check it out, and we'll be talking about

that later on in the week. But it's just one

of those things where I've got so much to do

before I fly out of here on Friday. Or actually,

I'll be out of here by the time you guys hear

this. That's why, it's one of the reasons why

I wanted us to wait a week to be able to do this

Legends of Arrowverse review because I wanted

a week where we could just do something simple

and easy and not have to worry about news stories

this week. Yes sir, yes sir, yes sir. So. And
